Our room was spacious and clean. I love that we had a room from the 23rd floor. This is value for money if you're staying in Cebu City. Ayala Mall is across the road. We even have buffet breakfast though selections are limited, but for the price, I can't complain. I only booked this because Montebello Villa cancelled my reservation the last minute and I'm very glad they did as Mandarin was way cheaper. My partner and I had a very tiring commute from Moalboal and we slept like a log in Mandarin. Will recommend this to my friends and family who will visit Cebu City next month. The only con I can think of is there is no bidet in the bathroom. Other than that, everything's excellent. For the price I paid, I didn't expect to have a bathtub. We ordered food from room service when we arrived and it was tasty.

The Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City is priced for the both the leisurely traveler as well as the businessman in Cebu City for business. The hotel has several excellent restaurants with the Uno Cafe being the top. The food service is great and the buffets are priced right. Some rooms come with the buffet breakfast which is a good way to start the day. The breakfast buffet has many selections for both the Western and Asian guests. As a business traveler who has stayed at this hotel many times in the past ten years, I would place it high on your list.

We stayed in this hotel overnight in Cebu City before going to the Shangri La. We used the Quest as a base to visit the (few) historical attractions, the fort, Jesuit house, Yap Sandiago house and Casa Gororda. The historical sights are just a short taxi ride away from the hotel, and definitely worth doing to get an insight in to the local culture before stepping it to the bubble of a beach resort. The hotel has only been open for one year so it has not yet had the wear and tear. It's a modern, very clean and comfortable business style hotel. The staff were efficient and friendly, the wifi in the room was fast and easy to connect to. The room was very clean, and a decent size, with all modern amenities which made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet spread was good, international and catered for the locals, and surprisingly good western food too. Given the low cost of this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, service and amenities in this hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Cebu city.

The hotel is close to SM cebu city. The breakfast was great but the area for eating is small. You have to reserve seats and wait for a while to be seated. The staff are helpful. We had a tour at 5am and they gave us juice and bread as a replacement for the free breakfast. The rooms are clean. Not that spacious but clean and comfortable and so it was good enough. The noise outside the room and the hotel cannot be heard. Good sound proofing. The best thing about this is the location. There’s a convenience store at the ground of the hotel and atm.

I had booked a corner room, but at the check-in time, it was upgraded to a room with King size bed, as we were staying for 5 days. The room included complementary breakfast and it was a very good continental style breakfast. No problem with check-in/check-out, but I was asked to pay a security deposit at the check-in time. Guess, this is the norm these days. The hotel is conveniently located, and very near to the Ayala mall and other Cebu city attractions. Taking city trips or even trips on the Cebu outskirts is quite easy. The hotel also has a tour help desk at the first floor "HQ International Travel Solutions (09176213111)" that can arrange Cebu trips. We took Cebu city trips & a trip to the wonderful Kawasan falls. Hotel also has nice gym, pool & a small health care center with emergency medicine & doctors visit twice a week. In all, a very nice stay & great value for money.

There was a construction going on somewhere during the day so expect to hear hammering. During the night, the banging of the doors drove me nuts but I guess that's the other guests' fault not the hotel so it's excusable. Good points. The staff are polite and helpful. All of them. 😊 Requests are immediately granted esp. for room cleaning. 👏👏 Best 3 stars hotel service I ever had in Cebu city. 😊

Price: we could not believe what we saved by staying here. A well known chain hotel nearby charges twice what we paid at the Elizabeth and, having stayed there 3 months prior, we believe the Elizabeth to be the best value. The staff is outstanding! From greeting you every time when opening the doors for you to adding extra coffee in the room. Room features: very spacious room with additional furnishings, mini fridge for personal use, oversized bath, numerous bath amenities, full set of towels for 2, very comfortable king bed, A/C and heating system that is whisper quiet, large windows for plenty of daylight. The cleaning staff is very good at their job too. Everyone there is very pleasant and happy to serve you. They even clean and mop the brick driveway throughout the day! They will happily go to the street and hail a taxi for you or, if you prefer, they will call a private car to assist in your travels. The staff is outstanding! We used the restaurant only for the breakfast buffet which seemed acceptable to most, but I found few American dishes available on a daily basis though they did change some selections each day. I was accepting of this since they cater to many different cultures that travel to their city and it would be impossible to satisfy everyone every day. Also, it gave me the opportunity to try the local dishes. The bar has knowledgeable staff that know how to make drinks properly. The Hotel Elizabeth is also within a 2 block walking distance to the well known, super clean Ayala Mall. The mall is huge, with outdoor gardens and many restaurants to choose from. I personally give this place a 5 star rating for their overall cleanliness and willingness to make everyone happy. We liked it so much, that we cancelled another leg of our trip to go back to the Elizabeth to enjoy the last 4 days of our journey in a very relaxing environment. This newly renovated hotel is easily the best value for money in Cebu city. Located at Robinsons mall the Summit Circle formerly midtown hotel offers spacious comfortable delux rooms with king size beds with modern amenities. Patrons are greeted from the taxi drop off directly outside the doors, staff are quick to make sure you have nothing to carry up the short flight of stairs. Checking in was easy with reception staff extremely professional. As the hotel adjoins Robinsons, you can access the mall without having to walk onto the street, this is a great feature if your sick of been harassed with street vendors trying to flog you. Breakfast is included and it allows for two people not like a competitor across the road that will hit you for a further p400 if you have a guest even though your in a twin room. The cost of the delux room was inc breakfast and it is worth asking if there is any promo offers should you be interested in staying an extra night. We got an extra night without breakfast. There is a fridge in the room however it is empty, not even any cold water but i must admit it made checking out very easy, no waiting for mini bar checks, you basically drop off your card key and staff are only too happy to assist again with your baggage and arrange a cab. We requested a late checkout and was offered without any charge a 2pm checkout. We cant speak highly enough of this place.

among the four and five star hotels in cebu city, this one may be best, if the others offer comparable rates(rates alter), this one is your best choice. the staff is very hospital as you would expect in the philippines. the rooms are spacious and clean. as located in cebu city, it is far from the beaches but also much cheaper than comparable hotels located at beaches. you can however purchase day pass tickets at some of the beaches, e.g. maribago blue water resort for pesos including a good lunch. directly next to sm mall cebu, so convenient for shopping and eating, but the ayala mall is the better mall in cebu.

I have lived in the Philippines for 2 years and travelled to Cebu several times on business. This weekend i decided to stick around and see a bit more and found myself this hotel via tripadvisor. Not only has this place set new standards for me in the Philippines of what is possible in the tourism industry but in hotels themselves. Simple, quick, easy and efficient service. And personal - more than the Marriott i just stayed at. Booked at 3pm online and checked in 2 hours later and had my name printed on my welcome note in my room and a drink waiting for me. For my short 24 hours here i have been in sensory overload with the design; there is no particular genre just a huge collection of styles, features and quirkiness and it comes together into a super fresh and comfortable...home. The food is like home too. Brief menu but feel good. Location is not idyllic but when inside the walls you forget about the outside. If you are in Cebu City there is no other place to stay.

For a 3-star hotel and currently in soft opening, Mabolo Royal Hotel is generally a good place to stay in Cebu. It has a spacious royal suite for 5 pax at a very affordable price for 3D/2N stay. Also, it is near SM City Cebu (500 m away from the hotel) and a church just across the hotel. Some improvements though: No bidet yet in the CR Fix loose sockets especially in the aircon units Increase menu choices for breakfast Still, you have to bear with them as they are in soft opening. Nevertheless, you get your money's worth in staying at this hotel for your Cebu City vacation.

I could write for the rest of my life about this hotel and still not convey how wonderful it was. I'm on a trip of The Far East and have so far stayed in 7 hotels. This was the best by a mile. They let me check in 10.00am. So grateful after night flights from Bangkok via Manila. Room was huge. Multi Channel TV, Wifi, Safe - everything I needed. Location was perfect. Easy walk/taxi to a few shopping centres with great restaurants and night life. Swimming pool fantastic although sadly didn't get to use it much as weather was poor. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. I will return. Don't read any unfavourable reviews. If you're thinking of coming to Cebu City book this hotel now. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful staff, courteous and welcoming, always wearing smiles. A wonderful and respectful staff to go with beautiful accommodations. They serve good food. Best bang for your buck. Gets two thumbs up from me for their great accommodations. Great quality service for the money. The Hotel is well placed. It is near three of the biggest shopping centers in Cebu, SM City Cebu, Ayala, and I.T. Park. A nice hotel indeed. Good quality hotel for the money. A hotel worth considering if staying in Cebu at a budget.

For the price, you couldn't ask for anything more. The staff was extremely friendly. Always smiling whenever they saw you and helpful with whatever you needed. The room itself was nothing special, but it was always clean, the bed was comfortable (memory foam), and it had everything you needed to have a comfortable night's rest before you head out to the city for the day. The only thing I marked down on was location. For anyone who wants the nice part of the city, go ahead and spend more to get a hotel in that area. The part that Main is in isn't terrible. You can easily find a taxi that will take you wherever you want, plus the business district is right down the street. Taxis in Cebu aren't expensive if you are worried about that. A taxi from the hotel to the temple was around the equivalent of $3, and that was probably the farthest I needed to go by taxi. Anything else to see or do in Cebu will be less than or around that price. I LOVED my experience at Main, and I would stay there again if I ever made my way down to Cebu City again! I highly recommend for someone who doesn't mind using inexpensive public transportation.

It's was our first time in Cebu City. My friend & I wanted a hotel that's very close to the mall, restaurants, and easy access to public transport. Tune hotel is right choice. It's near the Ayala Center & the Public Transport Terminal. The hotel was clean, well maintained, & friendly staff. The toiletries & towels were placed on a string bag. What I like also of this hotel is they have this "Pay only for what you need". I think this idea is perfect for budget conscious & practical travelers like me. Last Thursday, when we get back to the hotel from our City Tour. I got this letter from the hotel reporting that the insafe was open as reported by their housekeeping. That impressed me & my friend as well. Check-in & Check-out was very prompt. They don't serve breakfast. But no worries there's a 7-11 at the hotel entrance & ayala center is just accross the street. I would definitely recommend Tune Hotel to my friends.

My hotel experience was generally great. The room was spacious and clean. The personnel were professional and very accommodating. The hotel location is perfect if you're visiting Cebu City for vacation. The hotel is a spitting distance to malls, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, fastfood chains, massage spas and almost everything. My room was so conducive for sleeping and I could hardly hear the noise outside. I enjoyed my early morning jog at the Fuente Circle just accross the hotel and the very satisfying buffet breakfast of the hotel. LOL. The hotel rate I got thru Agoda was too cheap compared to the satisfaction I had. Well, despite the old facilities, still, I would prefer this hotel over the other 2 hotels I stayed at during my 4-day vacatiom here. I should had booked in Rajah Park during my entire stay. Nextime, this year for sure.

Our stay in Marco Polo is quite memorable and nice experience... before we usually stayed in Shangrila Mactan and Hilton... meaning whenever we are at Cebu, we always in the part of Lapu-lapu city.. its our first time in city itself.. we always wondering whats the building on the top of the mountain overlooking cebu city. we found out that its Marco Polo Hotel now but before it was Cebu Plaza Hotel.. one of the most famous and expensive hotel in the Queen City of the South. Now that its Marco Polo... it gives more elegance and charm. The Hotel location is nice.. few minutes drive away to the city, malls, tourist attractions etc... its facilities like pools and gym and spa and restaurants are truly wondrous and relaxing with. the rooms are spacious and quite peaceful. no noise will wake you and you wanted to sleep all day long. The elevators are fast and roomy. The parking is so big. Gardens are quite allusive. The staffs are very courteous and helpful... fast in their actions and firm in their words. I must say we will comeback there again the next time we visit cebu city.

Very nice and decent option in Cebu city. Nothing special about the hotel but it is new and clean, which is sometimes what we exactly need in the city. The only thing was that the swimming pool, as good as it was, was not heated so we were deprived of this attractive opportunity due to the weather conditions. Food was really good, especially Filipina specialties offered, however, there are certainly many outside options. Check out Crown Regency Hotel (just 5 min by taxi) for Extreme Sky Walk at the 37 floor which operates till late and you can enjoy Cebu city night views there. According to locals, this area of Cebu city is safe, but we did not explore that just using taxi services.

our favorite hotel in cebu city, we will definitely come again. rooms fronting main road are noisy all night, so we were moved to a room at back of building, and found it quiet and very comfortable. staff are nice, speak good english, are very well trained in hotel service, and make a point to remember your name. in all a professionally run budget hotel, no frills but very pleasant to stay to explore cebu city.

My family and I went to Cebu City for three days, we stayed at Wellcome Hotel as recommended by one of my colleagues. Our stay in the hotel, I must say very comfortable and very convenient, the staff are very friendly and generously attending our needs, esp. when we arrived early than hotel booking, the Front Desk Lady was very accommodating and super nice, she explained the procedure re Agoda booking and ammendments. I must say Agoda has done really great job as well. The room was quite clean and impressive my little girl wanted to stay more inside the room instead of coming with us for the Cebu City tour haha, that was classic!! Kudos to the satff, hotel management and Agoda immediate respond with my request. Looking forward to our next visit to the city.

Cebu Grand Hotel is like a home away from home. One feels secured and safe with the security personnel assigned is always stationed at the entrance gate.The hotel staff are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. One of them even extended assistance in suggesting where to go to and suggested to us how we can avail of a city tour service car. So far my daughter and I really enjoyed our short vacation in Cebu City.

It has been my experience that often hotels are given a 4 star rating, but actually have 3 star quality to them Harold meets its 4 star mark with ease. It is a newer hotel in a central part of Cebu City, walking distance from Ayala Center Mall, and a short cab ride to IT Park, SM Mall, or Robinson's Mall. Not too far from the airport, about a 20 minute ride (without traffic). The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bed was to die for. Probably the most comfortable bed and pillows I have slept on in a long time. The rooms were well thought out. Ample number of power outlets, well lit, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, safe, and refrigerator all in the room. It had a nice and tasty breakfast spread. Several restaurants are in walking distance. It does not have all the bells and whistles of the Radisson Blu, but the quality of the rooms and service are equal. This is definitely a great hotel for the price. I would be happy to stay there again, just for the comfort of the bed. Highly recommended.

I love Uncle Tom's Cabin hotel! I initially booked for 1 night when I arrived in Cebu City and I just wanted a place to rest before going to Bantayan the following morning at 8AM. But before checking out, I decided to book in this same hotel before I fly back to Manila from my 3d2n Bantayan trip. Everything is great here! :) Check-in was fast, the room was great - I booked the single room which is very ideal for a solo traveller like me and I got everything I needed and it was very clean on boths rooms that I stayed, breakfast was included in the room rate, wifi was reliable, staff were friendly, and location is good (although I always booked Uber/Grab since I didn't want to commute), clean towels and toiletries. One recommendation for improvement though if I may suggest... please follow up if it is beyond check out time already :) The receptionist called me at 11:45 to check if I am going to extend my stay, and the housekeeping also knocked my door at 11:48, even if check out time is 12noon. I told them that the I was just checking all my things in the room before I leave and it wasn't 12noon yet. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my stay! I will definitely stay here whenever I am in Cebu. :)

The window view is quite nice facing the mountains of Cebu. Location is perfect as you can walk everywhere from there including both the Robinson's Malls. The wifi was spotty in some of the rooms I stayed so they moved me to a room with better wifi. Staff are very nice here. Highly recommend this hotel when you visit Cebu City. Lots of hospitals around if you require to go to one. If you want to use the pool, there is a hotel with an infinity pool just about a 10-15 minute walk from this hotel and you pay a small fee for it.

To start with, the entire staff at S Hotel treats you in the manner of a 5 star Hotel. They are very agreeable, attentive and kind. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the security personnel, to Housekeeping. One of the housekeeping staff named Helbert made a beautiful heart from towels on me and my fiance's bed; he decorated it with our pictures and made us feel very special. This is just another example of the kind and personal treatment you receive at this fine Hotel.The bed is king size and very comfortable. The aircon is ice cold. The linens are white and clean, the comforter is cozy. The room smells and feels like new. The bathroom is immaculate. The neighborhood is nice and there are two great barbecue restaurants, several bakery's and a 7-11 nearby. In short the stay couldn't be any better and I was made to feel like a welcome guest. I have stayed here at S Hotel many times and I always feel like I am staying at my second home. I have also stayed at luxury hotels both here in Cebu City and abroad, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, I have never received better treatment and had a more comfortable stay than I have at S hotel.
