My wife is originally from the province of Cebu,2 hours from Cebu city.We stayed in few hotels in Cebu and decided to try the Mandarin Plaza.I was very surpirse with the amazing quality of service.No time to get out of the car staff is already here to take care of the bags,check in process very smooth,bags immediatly send to the room.Rooms verys clean and confortable size.Breakfeast very good and offers quite a good choice.Upon check out we asked for our bags to be weighted before going to airport,nothing seemms to be a challenge for the staff.Staff is really well trained.I stayed in 4stars in Cebu and this hotel service is over those hotels.I definetly recommand you to stay there.

asked for a non smoking room. the were fully booked so they upgraded us to the bridal suite. gorgeous, luxurious, a real treat. we would have loved to stay forever. talked to other guests who said their deluxe room was also gorgeous. great breakfast included. after staying there and in 4 other hotels in cebu i would never consider going anywhere else again. it's hands down the best hotel in cebu, so for a few extra dollars there would be no comparison. i don't know why it isn't rated number one. it should be.

I originally planned on staying at the Quest hotel for a week, but ended up staying a month. Value For Money When I was here in May-June 2012 the value for money was incredible. I paid around US per night without breakfast. By comparison, the Cebu Marriott, was running around US per night – a little over twice the price, and I imagine no better quality. I looked at half a dozen hotels in Cebu before settling on Quest. Other hotels in Cebu running in the $50 - $60 range don’t even come close in terms of quality. And my high expectations were met after I moved in. Location The location is great, right across the street from the Ayala Mall, which is the most upscale mall in Cebu. Ayala a good place to hang out with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops with fast Internet connections. (Unfortunately, like most hotels the Internet connection at Quest is a slower than I would like for my work.) Quality The hotel is brand new. When I first arrived they were still finishing outfitting the upper floors. It is impeccably clean and everything is brand new. The rooms are well designed, and the hotel has a clean, spacious feel to it. Despite being near a busy road, I heard almost no noise from outside and always slept soundly. Food The Philippines are not renowned for the food. I haven’t had a meal here that impressed me. Having said that, the food in the hotel is the best I have had in the Philippines. It’s the same standard as you’d expect of hotel food in a US hotel that knows how to do food well. Not just a generic menu designed to serve the lowest common denominator, but actually a good menu with really good food. (They do have all the regulars like steak and burgers, but they do it well.) Friendly Staff The staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. I feel welcomed every time I enter the hotel at whatever time of day or night.

This is the best bang for the buck hotel in Cebu. Location is close to Airport, SM Cebu, and My City Bus. The room is big and clean and if you get lucky with your room you get to see the Cebu Downtown. This hotel is across from SM Cebu so it's very convenient to do any shopping. You can also take the BRT from SM Cebu terminal to go to other places likes Airport and SM Seaside which makes it cheaper to travel within the city. There is a 7/11 outside the hotel so that is a plus too. On the downside, the room is not bright. I dislike hotels that doesn't have enough lights in their rooms. The breakfast is ok, not much of selection and nothing else to talk about it. The staffs are attentive and helpful but that's about it. I have no problems with them. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel that has very good value, you should go for this one.

My mom and I went to Cebu last October 2017. My mom is a senior citizen, that’s why I made sure that our vacation would be fun, hassle free and relaxing. Thanks to Agoda and Cebu Diamond Suites and Residences we really had a great time staying in the hotel. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and the breakfast buffet. The location is superb! It is near the ayala center mall (just 3 mins. Walking distance) easy access for restaurants and souvenir shops!

I enjoyed my extended stay at the Parklane Hotel in Cebu. Very nice, clean, new hotel. Room was nice, comfortable bed, reliable internet service. The amenities are nice including a gym and pool, nice coffee bar downstairs, and a wonderful buffet spread in Manuel's restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. The cost for my stay was very reasonable and I feel that this hotel provides excellent value. Most impressive to me were the friendly, helpful, smiling staff. The hotel is located just across the street from Ayala Mall and is close to everything in Cebu, very convenient. I have stayed at other hotels in Cebu and am glad that I tried the Parklane. I will definitely be staying there the next time that I am in the area and was very pleased with my experience there.

I stayed one week, booked a standard room. First the bad: The first room (507, two single beds) offered was an upgrade but located out the back where building activity generated a lot of construction noise. The little in-room safe (too small for an 11" laptop) was ripped of its wall attachment and could have easily been carried away. The bathroom window didn't lock. I complained and they gave me another room whose safe was secured to the wall but its keypad didn't work. This second room (401, king size bed) was at the front facing the street but kind of small, its bathroom extremely small. A big person would have had trouble moving around in it. Light bulbs in 2 lamps were dead. The next day I requested to be moved across the hallway (402, two single beds) also facing the front. This one had a decent size bathroom. The safe was barely attached to the wall with one tiny screw and could have easily been stolen. One light bulb was dead. Wifi didnt work in any of the rooms, even with the "wifi booster" they provided upon request. I bought a cheap Ethernet cable at an electronics store in a nearby mall and plugged it into the room's telephone, this gave me a decent connection. Since there was no safe storage at the front desk I decided to keep my valuables on me. Although the hotel is quite new, lack of maintenance is already showing. Now the good: Breakfast served quickly and reasonably priced (PHP 165, not included in my room rate). Free room upgrade. Staff very friendly and helpful. Paper at the door every morning. Great location between Cebu Doctor's Hospital and Fuente Osmena on quiet street. Public Olympic size swimming pool at the Cebu Sports Complex within 10 minutes walking distance. Overall: Not a bad choice, reasonably priced. I would stay there again.

I have been coming here to the 'Montebello Villa' Hotel for eight years. I come once or twice a year and always stay here. There are other hotels in Cebu in the same price range, but this is the best value for your money. They have been remodeling the hotel bit by bit, and the improvements are outstanding. The hotel is located in Banilad - Apas area, across the boulevard from UC Cebu behind a small mall. The mall is very convenient within walking distance. The staff here at the Montebello are outstanding and sometimes they accept interns from the HRM program at UC. The hotel has beautiful gardens, a number of pools a beauriful terrace ans resturant poolside. I can only give them 5 stars, I wish there were 6 available. JoeKanoguy

Price: we could not believe what we saved by staying here. A well known chain hotel nearby charges twice what we paid at the Elizabeth and, having stayed there 3 months prior, we believe the Elizabeth to be the best value. The staff is outstanding! From greeting you every time when opening the doors for you to adding extra coffee in the room. Room features: very spacious room with additional furnishings, mini fridge for personal use, oversized bath, numerous bath amenities, full set of towels for 2, very comfortable king bed, A/C and heating system that is whisper quiet, large windows for plenty of daylight. The cleaning staff is very good at their job too. Everyone there is very pleasant and happy to serve you. They even clean and mop the brick driveway throughout the day! They will happily go to the street and hail a taxi for you or, if you prefer, they will call a private car to assist in your travels. The staff is outstanding! We used the restaurant only for the breakfast buffet which seemed acceptable to most, but I found few American dishes available on a daily basis though they did change some selections each day. I was accepting of this since they cater to many different cultures that travel to their city and it would be impossible to satisfy everyone every day. Also, it gave me the opportunity to try the local dishes. The bar has knowledgeable staff that know how to make drinks properly. The Hotel Elizabeth is also within a 2 block walking distance to the well known, super clean Ayala Mall. The mall is huge, with outdoor gardens and many restaurants to choose from. I personally give this place a 5 star rating for their overall cleanliness and willingness to make everyone happy. We liked it so much, that we cancelled another leg of our trip to go back to the Elizabeth to enjoy the last 4 days of our journey in a very relaxing environment. I have stayed in many hotels in Cebu, and will more than likely stay here or in Cebu Grand Hotel also booked through Agoda when u look at value, quality, and cost. Yes there are many other good hotels, but not for the price. CLOSE to EVERYTHING! Connected to mall which has groceries and great prices on top floor! Located on the main square / round about so you have many activities there that are very safe to walk to even at night. I would suggest paying the little extra for the deluxe room to get the best view. The hotel is also connected to Cebu Pacific Air office which is excellent convenience...also walking distance to perhaps the best hospital in Cebu as well as at least 2 pharmacies. The restaurant was sufficient and you have plenty of options at the connected mall if you prefer.

Regarding the Five Star Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu on a scale of 1 to 5 we rated it at 10! We just had our 12th beautiful experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu, Philippines. The staff once again are considerate beyond belief, friendly and helpful making our experience very enjoyable. The food is great, the room service from Aaron and housekeeping from Jenny. Outstanding general attention and kindness from all levels of management and staff including a very warm and extremely hospitable Dazzle, Richard , Sabrina still a trainee but beaming with a promise. and too many persons to be able to cite by name but all of them outstanding and much appreciated. The hotel operators like Farah and Adel are both very helpful and accommodating. Another, impressive memory was during our latest visit when Rose, the business executive manager when learning that I was temporarily ill send her assistant to bring me Gatorade. The staff at the swimming pool have always been extraordinary in their attention to our needs and comfort which we appreciate. We are deeply indebted for the fine service at the pool from Charisma who is always been very kind and thoughtful in making us feel at home and comfortable. The food is excellent with new creations and innovation with their NEW OUTDOOR RESTAURANT you can really dine with the StARS and have Romantic evening with candlelight to make guests love the outdoor meals served including superior and premium steaks that my wife and I dearly loved,that WE DINE 2 nights in a ROW ! Lastly, Sous chef ,Joeffrey and executive chef Roberto Kunitz are wonderful in terms of their service to customers and are much appreciated by this customer and family. A hallmark of this beautiful restaurant is there breakfast Buffet which is the most elegant and varied breakfast buffets I’ve ever tried in my worldwide travels. The food is not only delicious but is served by the staff with loving care and attention to the guests is”exceptionnel”

It was by far the best hotel experience I've ever had not only in Cebu but all over the Philippines. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff's usual smiling faces. All were very fluent in English and really know their stuff. There's no inquiry I was not answered on a straightforward manner. And also, the complimentary drinks upon arrival, refreshing! I didn't even get the chance to ask what was that! Great juice! I really can't say one by one how awesome my stay was in Henry's. But to sum it all up -- I am willing to spend all of my days in Henry's! It was my first time to visit Cebu, and Henry's did a huge contribution to that unforgettable experience I had. Very memorable. They deserve to be the #1 Hotel in Cebu. Heart heart!

We booked in a Family Room Type, and it was enough to accommodate the four of us. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is built on a great location - walking distance from SM City Cebu, there's a church just across for those who wanted to attend mass, and a 7-11 next to the hotel entrance (same building) for those who wanted to grab a snack at any time of the day. We couldn't comment on the breakfast since we leave the hotel earlier than 6:30 am (due to tour scheds), but they were nice enough to pack up burger sandwiches and water bottles to take out. The view from our room is great (though it would be nicer if they clean the windows from the outside), facilities are clean, adequate, and great for a budget hotel - the only con we found was that the smaller shower handle was not working, and the water leaks to the other side towards the toilet area while showering. Over-all, our stay at the hotel has been very pleasant.

I could write for the rest of my life about this hotel and still not convey how wonderful it was. I'm on a trip of The Far East and have so far stayed in 7 hotels. This was the best by a mile. They let me check in 10.00am. So grateful after night flights from Bangkok via Manila. Room was huge. Multi Channel TV, Wifi, Safe - everything I needed. Location was perfect. Easy walk/taxi to a few shopping centres with great restaurants and night life. Swimming pool fantastic although sadly didn't get to use it much as weather was poor. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. I will return. Don't read any unfavourable reviews. If you're thinking of coming to Cebu City book this hotel now. I promise you won't be disappointed.

This hotel exceeded my expectation when I arrived in Cebu. The first minute we walked in their doors, we were served with orange juice, for free and hotel lobby was very clean. We were a group of 10 people, and we all loved their hospitality. The location is in a residential area, so not much taxis go around the area, but you can ask the hotel lobby receptionist to request a taxi OR you may book using grab or uber (was easier for us). The cleanliness was outstanding. Their beds were huge - we booked standard room for 3 pax and each bed was a double-sized bed. Loved their breakfast. Will definitely book here again.

For the price, you couldn't ask for anything more. The staff was extremely friendly. Always smiling whenever they saw you and helpful with whatever you needed. The room itself was nothing special, but it was always clean, the bed was comfortable (memory foam), and it had everything you needed to have a comfortable night's rest before you head out to the city for the day. The only thing I marked down on was location. For anyone who wants the nice part of the city, go ahead and spend more to get a hotel in that area. The part that Main is in isn't terrible. You can easily find a taxi that will take you wherever you want, plus the business district is right down the street. Taxis in Cebu aren't expensive if you are worried about that. A taxi from the hotel to the temple was around the equivalent of $3, and that was probably the farthest I needed to go by taxi. Anything else to see or do in Cebu will be less than or around that price. I LOVED my experience at Main, and I would stay there again if I ever made my way down to Cebu City again! I highly recommend for someone who doesn't mind using inexpensive public transportation.

What a marvelous place to stay. It is located just across Ayala Center. The PUV terminal is also across the street if you're planning on going to Jones, Sto. Nino, and the fringes of Cebu. The signs are posted for your destinations. There's no dearth of taxis passing by the hotel at anytime of day. The lobby is at the 2nd floor which means, if you have your card key, you can go straight up to your room without anybody bothering you. i stayed at the 6th floor (as per my request) which is great. The hotel has 9 floors. My bed at room 613 was perfect - it didn't face the sun at anytime, but there's adequate sunlight coming inside the room - with AC, fan, LCD cable TV, hairblower, safe, a folding table for your laptop when you need to work, great and very fast wifi connection specially configured for you, very clean bathroom, hot and cold water with a giant shower head and fast water pressure, a sink that drains fast, clean towels, etc. I cannot recommend it enough. As a habit, I keep booking at different hotels when in Cebu but i think I found a hotel I'd stay again and again next time I am here. It's very accessible for your travel needs. They also have 2-3 huge laptops for use at the 2nd floor lobby for those without their laptops. The only negative thing - they don't have a restaurant at all, but then this is Ayala Center. You can find restaurants anywhere. At the same building, a new 7-11 is almost done so this will even make things more convenient. Great great place. Book via Agoda because of its great promo deals. I got a 70% off for mine. For walk in clients, it becomes an expensive affair since every service is prepair - P300 for use of AC per pay, cable and towel also have their rates if you're a walk in client. Agoda deals are all-in. I couldn't recommend Agoda more. Go run to book a room. Right NOW! :)

My hotel experience was generally great. The room was spacious and clean. The personnel were professional and very accommodating. The hotel location is perfect if you're visiting Cebu City for vacation. The hotel is a spitting distance to malls, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, fastfood chains, massage spas and almost everything. My room was so conducive for sleeping and I could hardly hear the noise outside. I enjoyed my early morning jog at the Fuente Circle just accross the hotel and the very satisfying buffet breakfast of the hotel. LOL. The hotel rate I got thru Agoda was too cheap compared to the satisfaction I had. Well, despite the old facilities, still, I would prefer this hotel over the other 2 hotels I stayed at during my 4-day vacatiom here. I should had booked in Rajah Park during my entire stay. Nextime, this year for sure.

Probably the best hotel in Cebu mainly because guests are treated as royalty, very professional and polite staff, always trying their best to help, I was always allowed late check out and early check in without extra cost. great recreation facilities (gym pool n spa). Location is slightly away from the city madness which is great, taxi easily available, only 10 mins and 100 peso to Ayala, also free hotel shuttle bus every 2 hours to and from Ayala and SM malls. Located on hill with excellent view of city. Sometimes very affordable rates on Agoda for a hotel of this stature which makes it good value. Excellent rooftop restaurant and bar but little expensive. Will always be my first choice in Cebu, truly a 5 star experience.

it was one of the best hotel ive ever stayed. First of all, all the staffs were so kind and helpful. they smiled all the time and tried to do the best for customers. Even tho it was peak season, there were only 5-10 ppl in the pool. So,me and my family could have quiet and relaxed time. pool was maintained very well, floor and sun beds were so clean. and one thing I really liked was there was a shower room besides the pool so, we could use swimming pool before checking in (as we were arrived in cebu very early morning) room was big enough for two persons(standard room) and very clean. all the foods including breakfast were delicious and well priced. (probably better than foods outside) location was okay, takes only 5-10 mins to city centre by taxi. it may be the best value hotel in cebu city.

we booked ABC for the one night only as we flew to Cataclan the day after. The hotel is located in Cebu City, about 30mins drive with litle traffic (make sure to plan your return trip to the airport carefully however, traffic can be awful depending on the time of the day). Rooms were big, equipped with TV, electronic safe, plenty of plug sockets, lights, bathroom was decent size with decent shower, towels and toiletries provided. Wi-Fi signal and speed in room was fine. if I had to come back to Cebu I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent! Booked in this hotel for 2 days but extended our stay for another 5 days. It is near SM and Ayala malls and a walking distance from a Catholic Church. It is also accessible for those who wants to go to Cebu Doctor's University at the Reclamation Area. The staff were accommodating and courteous. Had a problem with the shower bulb in our bathroom but within minutes, housekeeping to was there address the problem. Over all, we had a pleasant stay in this hotel and will definitely come back.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 adults and 2 kids. The rooms could be adjoining with door between which is perfect for family to be together. Rooms big, modern, clean and gives feel of a 5 star. The buffet breakfast had a good selection with nice dining area. The whole vibe and look was impressive especially for the price we paid. Some of bonuses of hotel was the little pool great for the kids, the free shuttle to mall which is close by and the staff made the trip very pleasant. Recommendations: the air con a bit noisy and wifi wasnt that strong in the room. Overall it was the best hotel we had stayed in while in Philippines. We will use this hotel again when in cebu.

I stayed here for 1 month, so I got to know this place well. The internet connection here was the biggest draw for me as my work requires it. Other hotels near this class are at least twice the price in Cebu and older. When the internet was working, I would get speeds between 20-300 kilobytes/s (bytes, not bits). They were having difficulties with their ISP while I was there at the end of my stay though, so I changed hotels. Wired connections in all the rooms, wifi only available in the lobby downstairs. Harolds is a lovely lovely place. Brand new, so new in fact that they had to make me a custom "do not disturb" door hanger because they didn't yet have them made. The rooms are luxurious, 5-star level given their condition. Bed was gorgeous and comfortable. Harolds is a business hotel - no pool, very few kids. Perfect for me. Restaurant is ok. Expensive. Right down the street is Handuraw, which came to be my favorite place to eat. Wonderful pizza there and amazingly cheap prices. Ayala mall is within walking distance, although you can take a cab or a jeep too and they have tons of food options as well as shopping. SM mall is very close as well. Harolds staff is extremely nice. All of them knew my name within a day or so and I had not introduced myself. All very professional and helpful. They will make up your room pretty much any time of the day, so if you're on an odd sleep schedule, don't worry. I've never had better cleaning staff. They organized all my bathroom stuff and everything I threw around the room and on the desk. I always came back to a perfect looking room. Do your laundry around the corner, not at Lavada Queen (expensive), but the place on the opposite side of Escario street (I don't recall the name, sorry). If I come back to Cebu and the rate is still this good, I'll definitely come here again.

What I loved: 1. PRICE! (I mean omg are you insane? It's like hostel/backpackers/pension house price for a hotel) 2. Wi-Fi - if you stay in Cebu a while you'll realize that fast and reliable internet is very rare in budget hotels. (even in expensive ones) Here it was fast AND reliable. 3. Location - lots of options in the area and short uber anywhere else (or jeep or taxi) Note: it's at the end of a street and newer so Uber or grab is your best bet to make sure the drivers find it) 4. Rooms- tiny for the cheapest ones, but bed is comfy for just sleeping and winding down. Bathroom is good sized with hot water and basics. TV is available and a bit of storage. 5. Free breakfast - for what you pay, anything other than a room is a bonus now. But breakfast is good, several Filipino options and a few american (to those complaining it's limited- it's FREE breakfast at a budget hotel... If you want better food, venture outside for some restaurants or stay at Best Western for 5k a night and buffet) 6. Restaurant area- I didn't eat much at the resto and when I did it wasn't anything special. But the area was great for working. If you are on a business was trip, it is nice to have. 7. Parking- available first come,first served. If you need it, it's there. CONS: As people have said, on the back side rooms there is rampant rooster activity. This never bothered me as I was usually too tired when I got back to sleep. Be prepared, bring earplugs or noise cancelling. They can be very annoying. During my stay, the hallways were fairly quiet but it seems there is a potential to be loud in the peak seasons if more guests are in the hallway talking. Again, bring noise protection! Trust me, you'll need it even if you stay other places usually. Rooster and traffic noises are everywhere. If you temper your expectations, this hotel really is a great little gem. I'm glad I listened to the positive reviews and tried them out. I will be back here now every time I go to Cebu.

The window view is quite nice facing the mountains of Cebu. Location is perfect as you can walk everywhere from there including both the Robinson's Malls. The wifi was spotty in some of the rooms I stayed so they moved me to a room with better wifi. Staff are very nice here. Highly recommend this hotel when you visit Cebu City. Lots of hospitals around if you require to go to one. If you want to use the pool, there is a hotel with an infinity pool just about a 10-15 minute walk from this hotel and you pay a small fee for it.

To start with, the entire staff at S Hotel treats you in the manner of a 5 star Hotel. They are very agreeable, attentive and kind. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the security personnel, to Housekeeping. One of the housekeeping staff named Helbert made a beautiful heart from towels on me and my fiance's bed; he decorated it with our pictures and made us feel very special. This is just another example of the kind and personal treatment you receive at this fine Hotel.The bed is king size and very comfortable. The aircon is ice cold. The linens are white and clean, the comforter is cozy. The room smells and feels like new. The bathroom is immaculate. The neighborhood is nice and there are two great barbecue restaurants, several bakery's and a 7-11 nearby. In short the stay couldn't be any better and I was made to feel like a welcome guest. I have stayed here at S Hotel many times and I always feel like I am staying at my second home. I have also stayed at luxury hotels both here in Cebu City and abroad, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, I have never received better treatment and had a more comfortable stay than I have at S hotel. We visited during the Sinulog Festival, a busy time for Cebu. We arrived at the hotel early coming from MoalBoal and before their check-in time, the staff at the reception kindly accommodated our early check-in which was convenient for us as this gave us more time to explore the area and Cebu itself during the most colourful time of the year; the Sinulog Fest was also ort first so it was something that we were looking forward to. The hotel was busy and had shows featuring performers for the Sinulog festival which was exciting to watch with all the upbeat music and array of colours from the performers' costumes. The hotel at the time was on a festive mood and that made us more excited with our stay in the city. We also found that although the location was a little away to the main Sinulog festival area, it is easily accessible by taxi, so no problem for us. We also found that Cebu's many bars and great music bars. Cebu's nightlife are all accessible by a short taxi drive and cost us just under 100 pesos. Our accommodation at the hotel was amazingly huge with 1 single bed and a queens size bed. HIgh ceilings giving you a maximum feeling of grandeur with its added rustic décor. The bathroom was also of good size with a deep bathtub and separate shower cubicle. For the amount I paid using Agoda, I didn't expect this good quality accommodation in a quieter area of Cebu. Outside the hotels are some good looking spas for massage and beauty treatment, we also tried the restaurants outside and they offer good food and good value, places like Tongs an eat all you can buffet restaurant offering many sea food dishes. Mandaue city is just in the corner where you will find many of the fast food joints if that is one's fancy. The hotel had other facilities like swimming pool and gym which we didn't try as we only stayed for a night but the hotel offer good value for the accommodation they provide and staff hospitality was excellent! Southpole Central Hotel is an incredibly new hotel in the heart of Cebu City. When I asked taxi drivers to get here, the best bet is to tell them that you're going to Junquera street and add that it is located just across University of San Carlos. Next to it is a 7-Eleven. The hotel itself was still under construction. During our stay, we could definitely hear construction work on the upper levels, but it wasn't loud and distracting. The washroom was incredibly well-built, but the shower was not separated by a shower door. This makes the whole washroom floor wet after someone takes a bath and some people may find this disgusting. The redeeming part of this hotel is the bed and the excellent airconditioning. Also, the hotel provides its patrons with a nifty list of channels for their TV. In terms of acoustic insulation, I could definitely hear people talking in the hallway and sometimes from the room next to us. This really isn't a problem for me, but some people may find this offputting.
