We loved: - The location nearby markets, food court, restaurants, bars, and walking distance from Cathedral, Central Post Office, Mariamman Hindu Temple, War Museum, Independence Palace, City Hall, etc. ; - The king balcony room, with great city view, huge bed and nice deco ; - The staff, extremely nice ; - The rooftop bar ; - The fact that breakfast stand was changing every day. We didn't like: the restaurant/breakfast room is very small and we had to wait every day around 10/15min to be seated. It is suggested to arrive before 9am, to avoid the waiting. Overall, our stay was great and we highly recommend this hotel!

We travel to Vietnam often, but this is our first stay at this hotel. I picked it for the location, but was very pleased with all that was offered. The check in staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. All staff spoke some english and others were fluent which made everything very easy. Breakfast was very tasty and offered both asian and western options. Rooms are not huge but roomy enough for two. I am disabled and was quickly accommodated with a room with walk in shower which was very modern and stunning. The rooftop pool was small but good for a cool down and some sunning We would definitely return.

Hotel front desk informed that our room for 4 nights from Agoda booking has no window (different information in Agoda app) when check-in. Have to pay additional VND 1 million in cash only for an upgrade to room with window. This is quite a surprise and annoyance but due to time constraints, no complaint was made to this hotel management. However top marks to Spa Manager, Ms Thuong who offered best service and assistance to let us use her spa reception area as our private office space for work.

My husband and I stayed at this property for 5 nights for his birthday . I would like to admit that by far this has been my best hospitality experience. I love to travel and have been to some luxury five star chains but hotel nikko experience is unparallel. We stayed at the 23 floor in the king club room . The room is spacious and the decor is modern and chic. They provide a turndown service and the housekeeping staff is well trained to add small touches when they clean the room( for example keeping shoes in one line) , it feels home when you come back to room after sightseeing. The breakfast is ellaborate and what is more interesting is that they change few dishes ( including the local ones) on a frequent basis so if you stay like us for more than a night, it will be a sigh of relief for your taste buds to try something new. Staff are well trained and willing to assist. Our best experience was with nikko club lounge( situated on 23 floor) where the views over the city are spectacular and the staff is extremely courteous and efficient including all the trainees who made us feel very special. I would recommend to book a room that has a lounge access , every extra dime you will pay is totally worth it. The staff in the nikko club lounge are so well trained and know how to deliver the first class standard of service. They also helped me arranging a cake for my husband and help me arrange a surprise for him. The hotel is truly a gem in district 1 of ho chi minh! It is slightly away from the touristic madness of city but if you fancy something wild the backpacker's street ( bui vien) is walking distance from the hotel. The other landmarks( cathedral, post office etc) are also not too far and you can order a grab for quite cheap rate. After spending at Six sense NINA Van Bay,here is EXCELLENT,compared with SSNVB, 1000 times better !THIS is 5 STAR HOTEL! Definitely staying at here makes my whole trip in Vietnam happily,good ending! Seems staff never say NO,they are super well training,great service! Especially house keeping is outstanding! They are very thoughtful ,they know how to make the guests comfortable and happy! Of course cleanup the room perfectly! I had quick breakfast,both the range of foods and taste are great,but milk pancakes are not good. The best bang mi in Saigon (I tried two best know one but here is better than those two! As information,SSNVB ‘s one is awful!)

Great location and easily accessible to many eateries, convenience stores and also a short ride to the Saigon Central Post Office and Notre Dame. Room is spacious and clean, nicely designed with well-thought details and amenities. The entire hotel looks wayyyy better in real life than in pictures We chose the Saigon City View room, so were not affected by the construction noise at all. The outdoor tub was a bonus, only small drawback is that perhaps they could add another blind to cover up the entire window when necessary. The afternoon tea was a nice touch, with nice view of the Saigon river to boot. Managed to make good use of the pool too. It's not huge but it was good enough for some workout after all the feasting. Overall it was a really good stay and we'd love to stay at The Myst Dong Khoi again the next time we go back to HCMC.

We both enjoyed the Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City as It was centrally located in District 1 (The Only area to stay!!) directly opposite the Opera House and we could walk everwhere to Notre Dame Cathederal,The Post Office,The Big Market and Government House and The Museums. The Hotel itself is very well appointed and the staff are wonderful and friendly.Our deluxe room was very comfortable and had all that we wanted during our stay. We will be back

We got to the hotel quite late, so weren’t so keen on traipsing around at that point for a drink. Thankfully, after a smooth check-in, we found that the rooftop bar was open till about 2am so we managed to get a couple of drinks before bed. The room is clean and quite comfortable with all the amenities you would find in a good 4 star hotel. The breakfast buffet, was a decent spread of asian and western options which will keep you going till late afternoon. There is wifi through out the hotel, but it worked best at the roof top bar so you can put off your roaming and still be connected to the rest of the world. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the service at the bar/restaurants was pretty decent. When you do go out, you might need local currency and if you haven’t had the chance to exchange it, worry not because you can do so at the reception at a very good rate. The best aspect of the hotel for me was the location. The hotel is situated in the heart of District 1 and everything is walking distance from the hotel. You can find a city map in your room or at the reception and hold onto this for your trip, it’s very useful. Ranging from 5 to 20 minutes you can reach, the Ho Chi Minh city museum, War Reunification Palace, the War Remnant Museum, Notre Dam Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the Opera House, Ben Thanh market and even the riverside for a nice evening walk. You don’t feel like eating in the hotel, there are plenty of nice restaurants spread around the hotel ranging from local vietnamese pho to exotic french cuisines. There are quite a few bars around if you do take the effort to locate them if you want a good mix of the locals and expats. I however enjoyed drinking at the rooftop bar for nothing else but the fact that I was just knackered by the end of each day and didn’t have the energy to go out drinking. Everything is reasonably priced within the hotel as well. PS: Carry a bottle of water while you're out.

Defnitely I will recommend this hotel to my friend , and if I visit HCM again , I will stay here . Very clean room , good service ,and quiet at night . but close to Saigon center , post office and Saigo river , You can see the beautiful sun rise at the top floor swimming bar and breakfast also very good . but because of the trip was tried , I didn't took any photos about the room . but it's really good .

The location is perfect, basically all the major sites are within walk distance - you name it, Dong Khoi street, Ferry, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Reunification place and Phan Nguyen Lao street and so on. But walking in the sun in march is not really comfortable. So the best plan is to take a walk either before 10am or after 5pm. Hotel staff is really friendly, and the room is very clean. You can also enjoy free wifi in room, which is absolutely a plus in Southeast countries. The swimming is nice, not really big. Breakfast is pretty decent with good variety - Western, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and even Korean. I spent 6 nights in the hotel and was not fed up. If there is one thing i am not very satisfied with, it is the kid club.

This hotel is within 15-20 minutes walk from all the main tourist attractions like Independence Palace, War Remnant Museum, Norte Dame and Central Post Office. Ben Thanh market again only 15 minutes walk. Hotel is beautiful and we got a free upgrade to suite on arrival at check in. Rooms very spacious and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with egg station where they will cook what you want. Only down side (and this is nothing to do with hotel) is the road and also pavements... be very careful as at pedestrian lights when light is at green for you to walk they will continue to drive and as they don’t have enough room on the roads, mopeds will also drive on pavement and expect you to move. Definitely a city worth exploring.

I book 3 nights for a family of three. I thought we would give this a try given the positive reviews. And it turn out to be the right decision. The hotel is centrally located very near to the opera house in district 1 of HCM. This is no frills basic hotel with minimal facilities but it has all we need - centrally located albeit at the quiter part of district 1, a nice clean room, decent morning breakfast and a bar at the top floor with great night views. Its about 3-5min walk to the Opera House

Liberty Central is everything a traveler can hope for in a hotel if it is your first time visiting Ho Chi Minh City. Located just beside Ben Thanh market, it is also within walking distance to all the attractions in District 1 such as Reunification Palace, War Remnants Musuem, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and Dong Khoi district. HCMC is a very walkable city so do explore on foot, plus you can see a lot of interesting places such as small cafes, boutiques and shops along the streets! If tired, a cab can be hailed from anywhere and typically cost less than 50,000vnd ($3). The hotel and room itself is very well equipped. Room is a little small but very clean and new, and nicely decorated. Laundry and room service is cheap. Pool is tiny but would be what I call cozy, and you get a really good view since it is a rooftop pool. Buffet breakfast spread is amazingly wide, and good! What I love best about the hotel is their service. Every service personnel I came across, from receptionists to bellboys are friendly and helpful. The bellboys at the door will keep reminding you to be careful with your belongings, ask you how your day was, check where you are going before hailing cab for you etc. Highly recommended! You can't get better value for the price.

This is a very convenience hotel, it located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City and nearby Ben Thanh Market. We loved to travel around the city by bus and visited the ancient cathedral and the Central Post Office. Besides, we went to the shopping mall, named Saigon Square, it is very close to the Luxe hotel. Please aware the taxi rate from Airport to the city, unfortunately, we met the pirate taxi and charged us very high rate.

This is a very good four star hotel, which situated at district 1, if you want to central post office, Notre Dame Cathedral and municipal theatre, just need to take a walk with 20 minutes that you can reach the above places. About the swimming pool, even not so big, but it has a romantic feels. 1.5m to 2.2m in height of the pool, so young kids maybe not suitable. For the breakfast, they have a lot of foods let you choose. You will feel worth o live there.

I've been visiting Vietnam a couple times a year for the past 9 years. I've come to expect a certain conformity and level of service that is, odd but OK. -Liberty Central is a departure from the traditional Vietnamese city hotel. They seem to be taking their cues from the best of European and North Asian hotels. The staff are all attentive and can actually "think for themselves" which as anyone who travels a lot in SE Asia knows is rare. The service was exceptional... especially for a 4 star property. This is a new property (less than a year old) but it has a quality feel to it that is again, a notch above the myriad of new hotels in Saigon. I was only here for 2 days on business so I didn't get a chance to try other amenities like the fitness center, pool etc, but I did see them, and they looked great. The breakfast is positively 5 star! I was very impressed!

I stayed in Blue Diamond Hotel for a night and I'm happy that I stayed here. The room is clean with all needed amenities and food wifi. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also okay. And location is really good as it is walking distance to Central Post Office, Cathedral of Notre Dame and Ben Than Market. They also can offer tours at reasonable price. I will book again in this hotel if I decided to come back to Saigon. It's best value for money.

This hotel is located in a great location, where I walked around to visit most of the must see places of Saigon like Ben Than Market, War Museum, Reunification palace, Central post office, Notre Dame Cathedral and Water puppet show. There's also travel agency in the hotel, where we can book tours for Mekong delta, Cu chi tunnels etc. My room had fridge with coke and beers. The breakfast buffet was one of the best ever I stayed so far in other hotels. They also have desktops provided with internet for browsing. The hospitality of the staff is commendable.

We stayed as a family (two kids age 7 and 11) at the Central Palace Hotel. The location is perfect to explore the city: reunification palast, notre dame cathetral, central post office, binh tay market: all just a 5-10 minute walk away. The room was very clean and comfortable, although a deluxe double for 2 adults and 2 kids is because of the bedsize too small (one night was ok). Really excellent was the rooftop pool with an awesome view of the city - day and night and the breakfast buffet with a huge choice of asian and western food. We had a great stay in HCMC!!

It was my pleasant stayed at Silverland Central Hotel & Spa for our 3D2N holiday in HCMC. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful especially Ms. Xuan Ngunh. Very near to Ben Thanh market and at a walkable distance from the main attractions like Saigon Centre Mall (Takashimaya), Saigon Square, City Hall, Mr. Ho Chi Minh Statue, Saigon Norte-Dame Basilica and Saigon Central Post Office, . The back entrance of the hotel have a lot of halal restaurants too. We will definitely come back to you.

Hotel is located right in the middle of the busiest part of Ho Chih Minh City- District 1. without much sweat, we can walk to all tourist attraction Like the French style Old Post office, the famous Norte Dame Church , the War Rememberance Muzeum , the park and riverside. Shopping can be easily reached day and night , where Benh Tanh market is ten minutes away. The latest and biggest mall in town is just two street away. souvenior shops and local produce including craft can be access every corner around the hotel. Interesting restaurant can be reached in minutes. Local famous beef noodles restaurant Pho 24 are also a couple of minutes walk, not forgetting the famous Vietnamese coffee outlet.

I loved this hotel. The location is excellent, the room was great, the breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the daily one hour massage included with my booking at no extra charge. Not just an ordinary massage…I would say the massages at the hotel spa were some of the best I have had anywhere. The staff was absolutely outstanding. Everyone was all smiles and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Everyone spoke English, and they were always helpful with any questions. My arrival in Saigon started with a problem because the hotel's driver wasn't at the airport to pick me up as pre-arranged, so I took a taxi to the hotel. This seems like a complaint, but in the end it turned into a positive experience because of how the staff handled it. They were very apologetic and reimbursed me for the taxi. I will definitely stay at Fusion Suites on my next visit to Saigon.

Locate at the District 1, central area of saigon, can walk to most of the interesting places like Independent palace, People's committe building, Notre-dame cathedral, Central post office and Ben Than Market. The staff there recommended us a good local restaurant which we can a lot nice local food there. The room is clean, only the sound proof not so good, we can hear the sound from outside.

My brother & me were travelling to Saigon for the first time. We got an extra large room with two single beds. All our requests (non smoking room, higher floor & two beds) are been arranged accordingly. This hotel concept is modern & minimalist. The room is big enough for us. The location of the hotel is in the between of two famous street for tourists which are Bu Vien & Pham Ngu Lao. very happening area. We booked tours on Klook.com. The office of the Klool.com's local travel agent just next to our hotel. We do not need to walk to find the office every morning before start the tour.

Harmony Saigon hotel had everything one could expect in a 4 star hotel -- elegant lobby, modern guest room, quality facilities, tasty food, and good location. However, what impressed me most was the considerate and professional hotel staff. It was on the second day of our stay when my wife suffered a sudden vertigo and vomiting during breakfast. As a tourist who didn't understand a single word of Vietnamese, I could only seek for the help of restaurant manager. Without any hesitation, the manager called reception to arrange transportation and contact an international hospital immediately. When he escorted us to the lobby, a cab was already waiting for us. Upon arriving at hospital, my wife was attended by a doctor immediately, thanks to the pre-registration by another hotel staff. Fortunately, after a few hours' checkup and infusion, my wife was confirmed no big issue and released home. Surprisingly, the same staff was still waiting outside for us. My heart was really touched at that moment. When we reached hotel, the general manager gave us a warm greeting, and a restaurant staff delivered porridge to our room. My wife recovered fast and we had a pleasant trip in the following days. Before checking out the hotel, we reminded the reception staff to settle the bill incurred by the emergency. I was surprised again when he told me all the cost had been waived by the general manager. I have stayed at about twenty 4 or 5-star hotels worldwide. The experience at Harmony Saigon Hotel was unique and well beyond my expectation. I would like to express my hearted appreciation to the hotel staff and wish them all the best.
