the location is great, within walking distances to every key tourist attractions, e.g. musee du louvre, av des champs-elysees, arc de triomphe and shopping areas of st honore street is just right around the corner, department stores like lafayette, printemp is also in 15 mins walk too. the subway station madeleine is in 5 mins walk, very convenient. the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful too. we want to join a day tour to les chateau de la loire and the staff is so nice to recommend us to a tour organized by the local travel agencies and describe to us in very details of how to find the location of the agencies. we end up have a great day of the tour to the castles. le burgundy is a highly recommended hotel to stay for leisure and honeymoon!

Really happy with our stay for many reasons . Location is great as it is close to places we want to visit like we can walk to (skip the metro) le Louvre, galeries Lafayette, St honore, Paris city vision for day trips and Notre dame. Plenty of nice Japanese eateries there too. Our room is well decorated and cosy. Apparently each floor is designed differently. Most Paris buildings or hotels are next to roads which can be noisy but our room was quiet and we slept well. Would come back here again.

Proximity to landmarks Louvre, Palais Royal, Les Halles, Rue Saint Honore Shopping, Place Vendome, Palais Garnier, Galleries LaFayette... also in close proximity to a lot of restaurants and convenience stores.. it was really east to get around... rooms are spacious, friendly staff, the interior of the hotel has a special charm, the room given to me has a very nice view of the opposite building... I was worried because of some negative reviews, but when I got there and saw my room... I was completely blown away... it was clean(sheets, toilet, balcony)... I will stay here again on my next visit... the front staff were all friendly.. from my check in until my check out... it was just a great experience... (the balcony, the staff and the free toiletries are the best) Thank you so much! Merci!

First I have to say that I would never book with Agoda again. They overcharged me, and caused me considerable aggravation in trying to get a refund, which after numerous emails, they finally agreed. The hotel is in a wonderful location, within a few minutes walk of some of the best museums, art galleries and sites of Paris. It is also close to lots of shops. The staff were all extremely obliging anf friendly and did everything to welcome guests. My 'comfort room' was a nice size, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, and snug duvet in a lovely white cotton cover. There were no drawers in the room for some reason, and although there was a safe, it was unusable as it was at floor level in the cupboard. There was an espresso machine, and tea and coffee in the room. The bathroom was a nice size, but in common with even 5* hotels, did not provide proper lighting or mirror for a woman wanting to apply makeup. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our third trip to Paris and this is certainly the best hotel we have stayed at compared to the dives we have stayed in on previous visits. It costs a bit more than some hotels but staying in Paris is not cheap if you want good accomodation.The hotel is clean and offers all modern facilities. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. The photos are an accurate reflection of the property and it will probably be better once they have completed all their renovations. The food prices in the restaurant were quite reasonable given the tourist location and some of the other hotels in the area. The location is superb with the Louvre and the Tuilleries across the road. It is als close to most of the other major tourist attractions.The metro is approximately 30 meters across the road and there are lots of little cafes very close by. I would thoroughly reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants value for money and a great location. The only thing I think they need to provide is coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms. This was also lacking in a 5 star hotel we stayed at in Epernay so it must be a common theme in French hotels. Overall I think it is excellent and I would happily stay there again. Fantastic stay, simply delighted by the staff service and great room conditions. This hotel is centrally located just steps away from the Louvre and Metro station. Room design and furnishing are impeccable, can tell much thought (those from a perfectionist) has been put into the finishing touches. Almost everything that I could think of has been done right, and I could find no faults. Simply fantastic, and great job to all the staff and planners of Citadines Suites Louvre. Keep up the good work.

We stumbled upon this hotel on Agoda, it does not have any review but as the pictures shown here looks really good, we decided to take our chance and we found a gem in the centre of Paris! Little did we know that this hotel has only been opened for a week. It has not even had their opening ceremony yet. The perk of this is of course that everything is brand new. Check-in time is 4pm but we arrived at the hotel at 11am after a tiring flight with our luggages. The staff at the counter was very understanding and helpful, and immediately arranged with the house-keeping to get a room ready for us. We were very grateful as this made our day by allowing us to bathe, get a clean change of clothes and freshen up before we go sightseeing. Situated in 01, it is well situated between 2 metro stations (Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre and Châtelet – Les Halles ), just steps away from Musée du Louvre and Centre Pompidou. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shopping in both areas. Also, Rue Saint Honore (Colette) is just round the corner. Many cafes and restaurants just down the street as well. The hotel is conceptualised by renowned french designer Ora-Ito. The aesthetics of every fixture and minute detail is being looked into. Was impressed by the choice of material for the sink, shower, light switch, bathroom amenity bottles and the gradated glass panels for shower area. The bed and duvet was very comfortable. We had our best sleep here for our 14 days trip. A perfect ending to our honeymoon.

My stay was overall good. The room was clean and fits 3 very comfortably. The only issues were (1) we checked-in around noon and was told to come back at 2pm. We came back at 3:10pm and it still wasn't ready. I was told to understand that they couldn't clean all the rooms at the same time in the noon-3pm timeframe (despite having already checked-in at before noon and normal checkin-in time being 2pm). Even better was they couldn't even give me a time as to when it would be ready. After some pestering, they finally gave us a room 10 minutes later, which made me wonder what internal communication issues they have. (2) The second issue was the electricity went off completely in the room, but we called the front desk and the problem was resolved immediately. The location is a very good one, close to Chatelet and Les Halles stations, with access to RER trains and many subway lines. The hotel has good security and is close to many shops on Rue Rivoli. There are also a number of sites within walking distance - the Pompidou, Notre Dame, and slightly further down, the Louvre. The staff was very friendly overall and gave good directions to places we needed to go.

This hotel was a great surprising find in the heart of the busiest tourist location and shopping precint of Paris. Just off Rue de Rivoli ,from the service, staff helpfulness to the sizable room sizes and comforts right in the center of paris makes the hotel an invaluable find. Walking to the Louvre,Le Halle,the River Seine, with two 5 minute walk metro stations or the Paris bicycle rental stations makes the travel options so accessible. Eateries like Julien's patisserie and fresh breads at 6 pm, to the smaller dining places makes picking up a last minute meal is so easy before returning to the hotel to rest after a days sight seeing in Paris.

PROS: literally walking distance to RER/M train stations, to Louvre, Seine River, Notre Dame. Cannot ask for a better location; many restaurants on the street; the street where the hotel is pin is a walking street, so no cars/quiet at night; hotel itself is new and furnitures are chic and modern; very comfy big bed; great shower; staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Con: room is small, but this is typically Paris. But we got a room with a veranda, where we have our morning coffee and wine, so we can't really complain much about the size of our room :)

The hotel is in 5 mins of walking distance from RER Les Halles and just a road across from the Louvre- so the location is unbeatable!!! Size of the hotel room may be the smallest size you would ever see but it is compact and has everything you need. The smell of the whole hotel is divine which made the stay extra enjoyable! I would def come back for my next visit to Paris!

Sebastian, Don, Maven and Yassine have been very helpful in making my stay comfortable. Sebastian has gone through extra mile to get me some tourist Information. This is five star class. Don and Maven have made sure that i get my hot cup of chocolate when i come for breakfast. Yassine has made sure that i get a room after the train strike happened suddenly that required me to return to Paris a day ahead. And Raul for coordinating the above with Yassine. There are many hotels in Paris being a City with thousands of hotels in total. I am glad that i choose this hotel. I am glad that they gave me rooms in historically significant floors. Being interested in Interior design, history and architecture, i am very thankful of these room assignments. Thank you, gentlemen. The lady cleaners have also been very good in keeping my room clean and tidy when i return. Thank you, Ladies. 💐💐

The boutique hotel is close to metro (pyramides) and 5 mins to the louvre! It is also amidst shops, restaurants and a small convenience store for general groceries just round the corner. The hotel may not be very visible, that's why we feel it is a hidden gem in that area. The lobby is small but tastefully decorated. We felt welcomed. Check in was fast, the lady was friendly and helpful to recommend restaurants n places to go. We had the 'grand palais' room, which was big, clean, new and contemporary. We love the room very much, which comes with 2 separate bathrooms (standing stall n bath tub) and a separate living area. We felt the bed to be alittle soft. The room is well-lit, by day n night. Nice complimentary toiletries. Only a bottle of water provided for our 3 nights. Luckily it was easy to buy bottles of water from shop nearby. We felt very at home in this hotel. The breakfast area is cosy with decent spread of bread, ham, cheese and drinks. The madam at the breakfast place is very friendly and attentive. Her service, her friendliness and her smiles is worth commending. She is the best person we have met (for our trip). Oh yes, there is a nice sweet little reading area too, just above the reception with coffee machine, nice sofa and books n magazines.

This hotel is a perfect example of what makes a 5 star hotel. Hotel Castille deserves the highest marks in all categories, especially 'respect'. My family and I are regular people. We are not of royality, wealth, or power. Yet, we were treated as such without smothering us. Absolutely love Hotel Castille! We look forward to returning to Paris--most notably, returning to Hotel Castille Paris!

I decide to take my son to Paris for 5 days as he had just graduated from college and had time available as did I. We took a train in from London as this was the first stop on our trip and a taxi from the train station to Dechampaigne. The taxi driver's GPS got a little confused and we were dropped at the curb and the hotel was not in sight. After a quick walk through an alley we arrived and were pleasently greeted and our reservations were in order. The elevator was very small and could only fit 4 people and that was without luggage. The room were a bit small but we had two bed which were comfortable and usabel bathroom space. We did not have the right plugs for our computers but the front desk was able to fix us up with a converter. The room/ hotel is quite old and had some great architecture including some original exposed wood that was very weather and authentic. We walked to the River which was less than a block away and is a great landmark with most attractions within a couple of miles. We walked everywhere and stated each morning with a great continental breakfast that was generous and had a nice variety. A small grocery was just around the corner and shopping and metro were very convenient also. We had a graet time overall and truly got to experience Paris on a somewhat reasonable budget.

It was a great stay, I got to the hotel before the allowed checking time, yet the staff still manage to get me a room so I can drop my luggage off It's close to RER & metro which means I can easily go every where I wanted. The room is a bit small however which is kind of expected for city center, and the room I was put in have relatively poor cell phone reception, but they do have WiFi in every level so access to internet wasn't a problem at all

Positive comments: the central location of the hotel meant that we were able to get to many places easily, either by walking, using the Metro or bus. The staff helped us with directions and advice on how to get to places. They helped us find a local laundry to do washing (we were on a long trip and hotel laundries are too expensive). After trying other local cafes, their breakfast was the best value around. Despite all the restaurants nearby, there was no noise at night that disturbed our sleep. We felt it was good value for money. Negative comments: the room is 'compact'. The two of us fitted in OK but it was a tight squeeze. We were there in autumn/fall and often needed too open the window to cool the room. Wouldn't want to be there in summer.

Our stay is great, close to main attractions in walking distant, even our booking said no breakfast but they gave us breakfast inclusive. Room is nice and comfy, only downer is no kettle and not good hair dryer. Our flight was in morning so we have to leave our luggage but staff kind enough to let us early check in cuz we have a baby. The hotel close to a lot of nice japanese restaurant too

My husband, mother, and almost 2 year old recently stayed at this hotel and loved it. The staff were so attentive during our stay. On our last day, while waiting for the taxi to pick us up, the staff made sure to have warm milk for my son's bottle and made us delicious coffee. I'm not sure if all of the rooms are two stories but ours was, so that made it a little nerve wrecking having an active toddler in the room. If you do have a young child who loves to climb everything like mine does, this place might not be the right one for you. :) The location is perfect, only a few blocks from the Louvre and many restaurants in the area to choose from. We'd definitely stay again.

this is an adorable hotel to stay at when you want something simple. i had a shared toilet and shower, but i had my own sink and mirror in my room. i stayed there on my own, being a girl, i really loved the fact that it was in such a safe neighbourhood. the people at the front desk were really nice, i could ask them for anything. and when i had to checkout, it was no problem leaving my luggage there for the rest of the day, so i could walk around town for my last day without a suitcase. the location is perfect and safe, its right between the louvre and the opera house, and its just a little walk to the champs d'elysee. if you want a simple hotel, for a couple of nights, on a good location, and you're not afraid to walk across the hall with a towel in your wet hair, i would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed for 4 days, and LOVED it! The room was clean and tidy, with 2 plugs and a fan. Balcony overlooked the busy restaurants outside. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - from the minute we arrived until we left. Victor helped us carry our bags up to the room (lots of stairs from ground floor to reception at 1st floor, then lift from there upwards) - My daughter's feet got severly swollen up from the heat and all the daily walking, and Camille at reception, gave us ice and a bucket to bath her feet in. They kept our luggage the day we arrived (we arrived at 10h00 & could only book in at 14h00) so we left the laggage there and went off to explore Paris. Also the day we left, they kept it safe till 19h00. Thank you! Location is VERY convenient with Le Halles 50m away. Noisy & busy at night, but we enjoyed the buzz & windows is 95% soundproof if closed. Franprix just accross the hotel. We felt safe and welcome.
