"Despite being in the centre of town they still manage to give the hotel a resort feel. Views from the rooms are non-existent but the pool is great with comfortable loungers and poolside cafe bar. The rooms were clean and relatively spacious with a big fridge, TV and DVD player. The breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel in Thailand. They give you a free bicycle to explore the city. Mine had a child seat which allowed for the whole family to travel together. Not that we needed a bike as the hotel is within walking distance of all the main temples and the night bazaar. The staff will organise trips around Chiang Rai, to the white temple, black house, trekking in the mountains, boat trips either as half day, full day or multiple day excursions. This is not the hotel for someone looking for a bungalow on a big resort. This is a city hotel in the very centre of Chiang Rai which apart from the non existent view from the room windows has managed to give itself a resort feel in a city space. The perfect city hotel but not a substitute for a mountain resort."

"This was our first stay after breaking away from my fiance's Thai family. We opted for the private room so can't speak to the shared rooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room, it appeared brand new with a 30+ inch LG tv and LG a/c. The bathroom was very clean with hot water. The room itself was quite large! The staff was kind and helpful. There were laundry services available and a common area with a kitchenette. We didn't use either, but both are useful. It is located a few blocks from the Chiang Rai night market, and though we had a car we walked to/from both nights. Very convenient! Overall a pleasant first night's stay at a great price "

"Everyone was very nice and helpful. The location is great (less than 300m to the clocktower), the pool is very nice, the rooms are modern and clean. We’ve got breakfast included and that was also very tasty. Will come back again when we want to stay in Chiang Rai. We were a group of 8 and booked 8 rooms. Brand new hotel!"

"Pros : Location: Inside the city center, short walk to the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar. The Saturday Night Market and the Sunday Happy Street Walking Street is within easy reach. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Warm welcome from everyone. Room was smaller than I'm used to however its clean, bathroom and shower worked well with hot water and water pressure was good. In room Wifi was fast. Breakfast Buffet: Great selection of local Thai dishes and Western food options. Very delicious. Great value for your money. Overall experience was very positive and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended."

"This is an exceptional boutique hotel, offering comfort, beautifully appointed rooms, a very high standard of service, great breakfasts and lovely grounds. There are only 25 rooms and the level of personal service and interaction with the hotel management and staff to ensure our stay was first class, happy and comfortable was second to none. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It's also in a great location, in the heart of Chiang Rai City but in a quiet street, and within a short walking distance to the Night Bazaar, and main city activities and attractions."

"My first patronage at Chiang Rai Hotel was not disappointing. It's close proximity to the bus station near Chiang Rai Night Bazaar was the reason I booked it, for the ease of movement to and fro bus trips. Hotel offers amenities that one can just hang around instead of staying in the rooms. Discovered various good cafes and popular restaurants at the end of the street at the clock tower, besides eating at the food centre at the Night Bazaar. A very pleasant discovery of this hotel and the shops around it. Will be booking this hotel again in my next visit to Chiang Rai."

"Had a 2 night stay here with my elderly parents when touring Chiang Rai. This is a lovely hotel in Chiang Rai city, walking distance to the Chiang Rai night bazaar. Hotel staff spoke good English and were very smiley and friendly. We could feel that they were eager to please the guests with their prompt service and pleasant demeanour. According to the receptionist, the hotel is only a little over a year old, and you can feel the facilities are very new. Bed and bathroom was well kept and clean. The controls in the room uses touch sensors, not very elder friendly, but I guess that's OK. Breakfast was good with a decent spread. Freshly cooked eggs and bacon were available for ordering. Only feedback that the spread could get tired, particularly when one stays longer than 2 nights. Overall great hotel with exceptional value!"
