Find hotels in Chiayi Railway Station

We could not find any complaint on this hotel. The room is neatly maintained and the staff is very accommodating. On our last day, the door knob was broken and as compensation, the staff agreed to extend our check-out to 14.00 and even gave 2 mugs as token of apologies. The mugs are not so much in value but the hospitality was beyond our expectation. It's also strategically located nearby the Chiayi Railway station and other shopping district.

Booked at the last minute the night before Chinese new year's eve after discovering we had no accommodation at a relatives we weren't expecting much as we just needed a bed and a place to stay. We were suitably impressed with the facility and staff, who even changed rooms for us as the original room was a little noisy from elevators and people gathering around the elevators. Facilities are clean and new, bed is massive and comfortable. Public transport (bus with direct links to Alishan and Chiayi TRA and HSR stations) is nearby within 10 minutes walk, as is 2x major department stores and many other retailers on Chuiyang rd. 7 eleven is across the road and there is good easy access to all downtown areas if you have a car or a bike, and the HSR station in Taibao is around 20 minutes away by taxi if you don't want the bus. Breakfast inhouse was not bad at all and there was a variety of choice. happy to stay here again next time I'm in town.

Checked in to this hotel after a horrible experience at another hotel in Chiayi. I wish I had stayed here from the beginning! Very friendly staff. Service was amazing. Large, clean room with a terrace. It's a bit far from the train station for walking but we managed to walk there in about 20 minutes, which was fine. It's a great location for the night market (only 5 min away) I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Chiayi.

We planned our Chiayi and Alishan trip free & easy. On contacting the hotel, they were so helpful to purchase our Alishan Railway tickets before we reach as we couldn't get them online. They even let us deposit our luggage for a night after we got back from Alishan. Excellent service and with very polite and helpful staff. They even had English speaking staff, great for non-Chinese folks. Breakfast was good, on the 2nd level. I like the hotel deco. Our room level had lots of dinosaur decorations which I think kids would love. Location is unbeatable, 3 mins walk to Chiayi Railway Station (TRA). There are crane game booths and food around the area. A cinema across the hotel with McDonalds. 10min walk to Wenhua night market. A definite recommend and I will stay there again.

This is a new, clean, fashionable, good hotel near the night market. There is a convenience store just across the alley and also a 7-11 quite near. No bus is available to Chaiyi railway station. Just walk or taking a taxi to it. One thing I believe they should improve IMMEDIATELY about the dormitory that I stayed in is that they need to set up a curtain or shade for each bed. If one guest turn on the room light in the dorm it inevitably affects everyone. The equipped hair dryers are cheap and small ones that have only hot winds. You can get a small pack of detergent if you ask at the reception. They have two washing machines, spin dryers and laundry dryers. Each costs 50 NTd except the spin dryers. Using them after 22:00 is discouraged ( is this English expression proper ?), but not strict at all. Bath towel costs 50 NTd. They offer free flip flops & one bath towel if you give five stars to this hotel on Trip Adviser. I didn’t buy that, though.

Hotel is 10 mins walk from Chiayi Railway Station where we took the Alishan Forest Railway to Alishan and the complimentary shuttle bus to high speed railway station to catch our high speed train to Taoyuan Airport. WenHua night market is just round the corner. Hotel provides complimentary self-laundry and nice breakfast spread comprising Taiwanese and Western items.

They have a very friendly receptionist & cook! Walking distance to the Railway station! LOTS OF FOOD! LOTS OF GOOD FOOD!!!! OMG, there's a few night market the meat rice, soup and veg must eat!!! NICE HOT POT nearby! fresh, cheap and it was so good! Many markets and people are so friendly!!! Highly recommended to stay here if you are going to Tai Chung! The Alishan Railway train station is at the train station!!

the staff is awesome good!!! i had requested her to make a surprise arrangement for my boyfriend, and she did a awesome job, my boyfriend like it very much~ for the location, although it is not so near with the railway station but i think it is worth to walk there and stay~ room cleanliness i was satisfied~ nothing to complain~ only one thing i wish to give my opinion which is the breakfast, it is to veggie to me, and it keeps repeating everyday, i suggest that it should change the menu daily. Overall! Worth to have pleasant stay!

Too far away from Public Transport - inconvenience Overprice for the location. It is hard to find and long walk from the Main Train station at Chiayi. It is a 30 min car-ride to the High speed train station (cost about 400 NTD) For a small town, though the hotel is a slightly high standard but the price is considered too much. The staff is not friendly as other hotels we have experienced in Taiwan. Kind of disappointing Suppose this is the only ok hotel in the area, seems like we have no choice but to stay there.

stayed only 1 day/1 night at this hotel as chiayi was our base for visiting alishan. reached chiayi in the evening, and left hotel for dinner after checking in, came back around 10 for a good night's rest before checking out early in the morning and leaving to catch our bus to alishan. however, as we did not want to lug our luggages up to alishan, the hotel very kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage at the front counter and kept it for the rest of the day until we returned in the early evening to retrieve them, before we set off for kaohsiung. hotel's location is ok, took a 5 mins cab ride from the train station (tra). difficult to get a cab tho, the cabbies touting customers were only interested in sending people up to alishan and tried to cheat us of our money by saying we needed 2 cabs for 4 people as our luggages were too big. found a private cabby instead who agreed to take us all in his cab. so anyway, the hotel lobby is very very spacious and had nice furnishings and decor. staff were helpful too. free wifi in lobby (can't remember if the room had free wifi too). room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. the bathroom was beautiful. it had both a bathtub and shower stall.. the bathtub was located beside a small window panel that looks into the room itself, from there u could watch tv while taking a slow bath. for privacy, there were blinds that u could lower too. i really enjoyed my short but memorable stay in this hotel, wouold definitely recommend to anybody wanting to visit chiayi. it is cheap, comfortable, cosy and beautiful

We (2pax) checked into a 4 beds female dormitory. -Spacious room for 4 -In room toilet that share by 4 -Clean -Strong shower -free 1 pair of disposable slipper. Others like towel, comb, etc can be rent/purchase at a very affordable price. -10min walk to ChiaYi train station (Not HSR) -near convenient store -15 min walk to Wen Hua street night market We only stay for a night as we had book tour to Alishan the next day; gathering point at chiayi railway

This is a great hotel to stay as it's location is Super near to railway station. You can't missed it. Is specious , for wifi, but bathroom needs to make some improvement as the bathtub's tap looks like certain part needs some polishing already. Looks rusty . Hotel check in at 11th floor and service counter people are good. No bicycle to spare as it is company's bicycle . In Chiayi , it will be best to rent motorbike or get a hotel to have bicycle to spare. As for breakfast , am disappointed .by the spread of variety as it seems not appealing ... it do not portray good image for the hotel . Porridge settings with side dish and noodles . I drank soyamilk and head to the street for their kind of breakfast instead . 3 stars. May be back for their location if the price is right . :)

It's a small budget hotel located right opposite Chiayi railway station. Chiayi Wen Hua Night Market is just 20mins walk away. Only downside was the hotel closed at 3.30am, you need to get back by then. It's not much of a problem since Chiayi itself is a small quiet town, not a lot of night life activities available. The beds are big & rather comfy. Wireless is free & there's even a PC located on the 5th floor for free internet access.

We booked Country Hotel in Chiayi City so that we can travel to Alishan (west) and DongShih/Budai (east, port area). It is cheap and because we flew in via Taipei, we took the High Speed Railway (HSR) from Taipei to Chiayi. The HSR Chiayi is located far away from Chiayi City but you can enjoy the free bus from HSR Chiayi to Chiayi Railway Station. Since the hotel is near Chiayi Railway Station it is a plus. We rented a car to enable us to go to these places and parking is available in the Hotel but there are only 6 parking lots. Unless you are driving there, it is not a problem. Morning breakfast is good with a lot of Asian varieties (e.g. fried rice, porridge, 'lu-roe fan' braised porky rice, fried eggs, pickles vegetables, etc). However there is no international meals. The room is small for both of us but we are not complaining as the bed is comfortable. The toilet is clean and right sized. There is a cafe/7-E in front of the hotel which opens until the wee hours. Really enjoy staying there. Friendly staff

Hotel is fairly new. Bathroom is big and lobby provides free coffee . Front desk staff, namely, Kevin, Gavin & Addison were extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help us to get more info on our onward trip to Penghu Island, It was them who found out that the ferry does not serve during winter. And they helped us to book a last minute flight with Uni Air. Extremely sincere & warm to serve. It is about 400m from the Chiayi Train Station and 700m from the Night Market. We stayed here a total of 4 nights and it was very convenient & pleasant. If there is any complain, it will the WiFi in the room. Signal is weak & sporadic. So what we did was to do our WiFi surfing in the lobby & drink our free coffee.
