The room recommended by Agoda for 2 adult and 2 kids was a tiny room with 1 king bed! We had to upgrade when we got there. Besides that, room was clean, staff were excellent and the location was good. Pool was also nice! 5 min walk to Chinatown food Centre and food Street and it's above the MRT so you could get around easy on trains. There were also nice bars walking distance. Just a pity the rooms are so small!!

I booked this hotel for a stopover for 3 nights. My room was great, big and by the looks of things, recently refurbished with glassed off wetroom/bathroom and big window. My only criticism of the room (and possibly every room although I don't know) was that it was a tiny bit damp. I've experienced that a lot in hot countries including Australia and Malta (even in 5 star hotels) so it's not the fault of the hotel necessarily. It was totally clean and well-looked after but if you are sensitive to it with Asthma or the like, perhaps not the most perfect choice. Otherwise, it was great. Good buffet breakfast too. Although they could get a better white wine choice at the bar. Only one choice and it was a sweet one. Blah. The location, for me, was perfect. A hop, skip and a jump to Chinatown, across the road from a non-glitzy shopping mall with food courts called People's Park which I loved. That was full of massage places, frame shops for cheap glasses and some great food - especially directly across the road from the hotel at a little outside food place called Cafe 168 (i think) I ate much better and far cheaper there than I did in the outside food street stalls in Chinatown which were really overpriced. It's also a 10-15 min walk straight down Cross St to Lau Pa Sat, a beautiful old colonial building housing countless hawker stalls. It's famous, good and cheap, worth a visit. The hotel is also super-close to Chinatown MRT stop which is about 3 direct stops to Little India and other connections. All in all, a good choice for me and I would go back.

The hotel is in great location, not too far from Chinatown and Sentosa. Quite far from Marina Bay but not biggie coz there is bus station just walking distance. They have water dispenser in the hallway for free if you want coffee or cold drink. Room is sparkling clean. Housekeeper Michael (a local) was so nice to us, kept our room clean, gave us daily supplies for the room and even became our friend. Receptionists were so nice as well. 2 of them are our Kabayan (co-Filipinos). Room has personal fridge if you want some foods or drinks to store. Toilet and bath was just fine. Room we booked was just fine size for 2 of us specially because we only used it for sleeping since we were out having fun all day. Keep it up hotel management. Until next time someday!

Booked this hotel with my siblings for a weekend getaway in Singapore. Location is very convenient! It's near the Chinatown Complex and Chinatown Food Street, and is walking distance to a Money Changer, the MRT, lots of hawker places like Maxwell Food Centre, and convenience stores. Staff is very friendly, breakfast buffet is good, and the amenities were way more than what I expected with slippers, fluffy towels, shampoo and soap, a vault, a ref, coffee and tea, fast WiFi, and a TV.

stayed here with a friend and they made us very very welcome. the room was small but comfortable and clean with good bathroom and great shower. we did have a window but shutters would not open-a shame as i like to see the view! no other quibbles, though, the location in tiong bahru is excellent-a quiet neighbourhood, really interesting to walk around. a short walk to chinatown or to the mrt. one of the reasons for choosing the hotel was its proximity (just over the road) to tiong bahru market with its famous food centre. this certainly did not disappoint! some of the best food i've ever tasted and a nice open setting to eat it in. the everyday market downstairs is also well worth a look. for swimmers or even non-swimmers there is a lovely pool terrace on the roof of the hotel with a view over the trees and the surrounding area. would definitely recommend the nostalgia if you'd like a taste of old style suburban singapore.

Have a great week stayed here in Butternut tree hotel. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. Thanks Nahnah the receptionist to allow me to checked in at 10am due to my emergency of rushing to SGH. The only things that i think it can be improved will be the wifi , as the XL room i stayed mostly i can’t connect to the wifi. Is a very good location here. 2-3min walk to Bus station and Taxi Stand. 2-3min walked to outram park station. 2-3min walked to chinatown food complex. 5-8min walked to chinatown point. 8-10min walked to Maxwell Food Court. 10-15min walked to Singapore National Hospital. Is easy to access to all location with walking distance. Will definitely comeback again !

The location of the hotel is ideal with two MRT stations within walking distance ( 2minutes). There are so many food choices and Chinatown food street is only a block or two away. Room was small, as expected from Singapore standards but it was clean and modern. There's a restaurant and jazz bar at the ground level of the hotel so food and drinks are always available. Staff are more than accommodating throughout my stay in getting me cabs and directions throughout the city. For a business trip, this is a good place to consider. Affordable price and convenient location.

It is our first time to go to Singapore. My mom, brother, and I booked a Family room last year. We arrived around 11 am and we understood that our room isn't available yet, so we took our lunch first at People's Park Centre. But, due to our exhaustion since we had an early morning flight, we went back to Bliss Hotel around 1230 pm. For an hour, we waited and noticed that they allowed three different group of tourists for an early check in. I followed up on our room and the female receptionist told me that our room isn't ready yet since the housekeeping is so busy because they had a full house yesterday. She said that our room will be ready by 230 pm. I just wished that they prioritized preparing our room first because they knew we were already there before the other groups arrived. However, they gave us our room around 210 pm, which was fine with us. Anyway, we still had a great stay at this hotel. Located just across Chinatown Exit E, it is centrally located and the tourist spots are just within reach by MRT. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, it's no biggie since there are soo many eatieries around the area. Even the Chinatown food street is just 3 streets away. Our Family room, which has a Queen sized bed and two single beds, was more than enough for my family. There's no noise leaking from the street and we had four complementary water bottles per day. The shower room was nice but the sink is located outside the shower and comfort room. There's no closet, only hangers and hooks. TV channels is limited but it's okay since we were outside exploring Singapore most of our time. Overall, I still would like to thank Bliss Hotel for living up to its name and providing us the stay we wanted for our first trip to Singapore. If I were to go back on Sg again, I will definitely stay here.

I booked this hotel for its location - the hotel 81 chain is known to be, along with the Frangrance chain, discount hotels that often double as love motels. I found the Hotel 81 - Osaka to have a good mix of standard vacationing patrons (not sure how many were love motel customers). I myself was visiting Singapore for 3 days and needed a clean, affordable place with good location and minimal dodginess - and I found it at the Hotel 81 - Osaka. There are good eateries and a hawker complex within a 5 minute walk as is Chinatown and the Outtram Park MRT. The neighborhood is quiet and residential but with good access to conveniences.

We stayed for 4 nights and 4 days at the Inn room 211. The location is perfect -- a few steps and you're at the MRT, Chinatown food street, major Chinatown malls, Chinatown Heritage Center, temples, and so many cheap souvenir shops. We arrived at the hotel around 6:30 PM and everything was already prepared for us. The room is very small, but we knew that from the booking since we only booked a Superior Room. Their advertisements are exactly how the rooms are. The in-room facilities are complete -- towels, toiletries, tissue rolls, electric kettle, refrigerator, safe vault. We would have appreciated it better if there was a bidet, though. The water from the lobby is free so we can easily refill our tumbler any time of day. This is a big plus because Singapore's drinking water is expensive! They also let us check out late until 1 PM for free. The only thing we didn't like was the air conditioning. I think there's a problem with our aircon unit. The hallways were cooler than our room.

We stayed there twice as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids) in the triple rooms and they were just ideal for that. they are spacious, the beds are large and the rooms are clean and modern. the second time, we even got the one in the 5th floor with balcony, which was a pleasant bonus. the staff is great, they offer storage space for bags and the Tiong Bahru Market with dozens of local food stalls (~4SGD/meal) is just around the corner. while the location in Singapore is great (close to Chinatown), it's a bit (~800m/10min walk) away to the next MRT (Tiong Bahru or Outram Park). But there might be a bus.

We chose the hotel primarily for its location (three minutes from the MRT as advertised) and we’re now planning to return because our stay at Hotel 1887 gave us so much more. Our change of room to one with a large bed was handled promptly and efficiently. The standard windowless room we stayed in for three nights was just the right size for ourselves, our luggage (one large and two cabin-sized pieces) and the growing mound of our purchases. Mattress was firm and we were very comfortable with our four pillows, single blanket and thick comforter. Linens weren’t changed daily but that’s actually a plus for us because we support all efforts to conserve water. Bathroom layout was spacious in our room but drainage was so so we had a puddle around the toilet area after showering. This was probably the only sore point, but housekeeping made sure the bathroom was clean and dry by the time we returned to our room at night. Street noise didn’t reach our room and that was perfect considering the Chinatown Food Street stalls were just outside the hotel’s Smith Street entrance. The proximity of the Food Street was convenient for dining past 8pm. For a really late night attack of the munchies, the 7-11 right next to the hotel was an additional convenience. Breakfast choices ranged from traditional Singaporean to continental and portions were hearty. Free-flowing tea and coffee were the real deal, nothing at all was diluted. The service staff were efficient, brisk about their tasks but still warm and accommodating. Our kudos to them! The hotel ‘s renovation of a former opera house showcased sensible use of space and gave off a modern and yet comfortable vibe. We would highly recommend this hotel to other couples, solo travelers and groups of friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Six Senses Duxton, from the smooth check in to the 10/10 service from the staff our stay was nothing short of fabulous. We were disappointed to find out that the pool at Maxwell was shut for an event but reception offered us an amazing solution and we ended up dining at The Yellow Pot (recommend the mee sua noodles and the sirloin black pepper beef cubes). We booked the Opium room and I was thrilled to soak up the chinoiserie and dark mysterious vibe from A. Hempel. We even headed to the Maxwell location for a western breakfast the following morning, think sourdough croissant, banana parfait, eggs Benedict crab cakes, chicken waffles to name a few of our selects. I would absolutely return again and perhaps book a different suite the next time:-)

Everyone knows that Singapore is a 'fine' expensive place to travel to, nevertheless this hotel with its price range 'within Singapore' was really good. Clean, cosy and quiet, very fast check-in/out. Very beautiful neighborhood among a stretch of well conserved buildings from 1920's. Friendly staff. Good free wi-fi although you had to log in like every hour. Short walk from train station, china town food street, etc. I must note our stay was only midweek, the street could be noisy during weekend as there are bars as close as next door and around all corners. You might want to ask for rooms with windows to the back of the house instead of the main facade if you're staying for the weekend and want to sleep early.

Very easy to get to from the airport using the Train. The nearest station is Chinatown and there is a Exit/Entrance in the alleyway right next to the hotel (approx. 70 metres). Room was small but clean. Was the best value we could find in Singapore. We stayed for 2 nights. On the first night there was an issue with the power. Seemed like a fuse kept blowing. Luckily it was late and were already in bed and didn't need any lights etc. The Issue was in another room in the hotel and fixed for the second night. Within walking distance to Satay Street and Marina Bay Sands. Hope to return in the future!

麻雀虽小 五脏俱全 舒适 is mean The room is small but well-organized and comfortable. I like the room design makes me feel at home, very comfortable, relax and every night have a good sleep. If you like to taste local foods then you must stay here because it’s near the Singapore famous Chinatown food street, just walk no more than 1 minute．There are many tourist attractions nearby, you can find it yourself. I would like to thank you Ms Cherry and Ms Mary(smiley and beautiful lady) for your very kind service and I will be back.
