Find hotels in Coliseum Café

I've read lots of negative reviews about the car park being far away & hard to find the way to the lobby but I found that the way to the lobby was straight forward and it wasn't far at all. Once you get the parking ticket stamped at the lobby, your parking is free throughout your stay. I stayed in an executive room on the top 19th floor with my wife and young children. What was great about the executive room was that it had an extra couch that would turn into a bed besides the double bed which gave us a comfortable sleep. The room was very clean, could see the Petronas twin towers from the room and the overall experience was great. I will definitely come back. Walk-in price is RM325 so you save 2/3 by booking through Agoda. Breakfast was ok. It's not the cheap bread and coffee type breakfast you get in budget hotels. They have a few different food to choose from. For the extra price you pay for breakfast, it's definitely worth it. The only reason I gave 2 stars for facilities is because I had no internet in the room, fridge was pretty much the same as the room temperature, and the hair dryer was broken. It seems like they don't do a lot of repairs on broken facilities. But I will still come back. The hotel room is clean and spacious. For a family with young children, or a group of 3 adults, I believe this is the best bang-for-buck room will get in KL.

I booked via agoda so i added a remark that the day before we stayed was my partner’s birthday and that i hoped the hotel could do something special for him. We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to the executive room instead of the deluxe room we booked but didn’t think much into it. After checking into our room, a guest services officer-Mr Aman came by with a birthday cake, birthday balloons and a personalized card! I was so shocked that the hotel staff actually saw my remark and did something so thoughtful for my partner! We are actually big fans of airbnb and this is one of our rare experiences of staying in a 5 star hotel, and absolutely loved everything about Hotel Stripes! The water pressure was THE BOMB, there was a coffee machine in the room(!!), and free soft drinks in the fridge! Thank you SO much for the wonderful and memorable experience!

one day before holiday..i last minute to booking hotel room...is the 1st time i booked hotel by online. very cheap than walk in rate. but, when i check-in my booking are not listed...so panic, but the weekend is to hard to find another hotel room...thank god, but the staff of quality hotel city centre trust me to check-in event still not getting request online booking room from agoda...i still got the cheaper rate!! so...next time for all the freinds....pls doing your booking room hotel early!!! happy sweet holiday!

Spacious for a 3-star hotel with a large foyer, lounge, seating area and café, and a room with two double beds. The shower was screened off from the washbasin and lavatory, so everything does not get wet when someone showers; but the water was not very hot. Mostly very clean, but the décor is a little tired – and so what, given the excellent price! Quiet and conveniently close to the city centre with a bank and two metro stops nearby in easy walking distance, and a number of good local restaurants. Very helpful staff. We often visit KL, and we will stay there again.

4 star hotel with 5 star service but had a 3 star price.... i love staying at this hotel.... they were very modern,clean, cheap,and also have a great food. close with little india, where we can shop with affordable price and also near with sogo and not so far from kl tower n' klcc unfortunately, need a little time to find this hotel, we have to round and round about 3 times to find them.

The best price in town. The best customer care service, very honest. I left my valuable handphone while check out and shock by a call from Star Points Hotel to collect my thing. I was stay at 2-5 star hotel before and nerver had this amazaing experience. Thank a lot Star Point, U Always In My Mind. My suggestion for better dinner, just add on kampung style to make it the perfect moments.However i really appreciate the breakfast menu. See u again & again....

Room clean and spacious, well decorated as well. Nice view for swimming pool and while having breakfast as KL Tower just stands in front. Staffs of the Hotel are friendly and I can feel their eagerness/enthusiasm to serve their customers best. No problem with the lift and automated car park throughout my 2 nights stay as everything went on smoothly, probably they had resolved these 2 issues raised by guests previously. Kudos to the management team and keep it up for the best service.

If this your first time in KL, this must be your choice. Its located right next to golden triangle. The mono rail station is right outside the hotel with links to all the places. The hotel itself is very good value for money, although I paid a little extra to get the executive club floor. Got many benefits cz of it. The best of all was a room on the 36th floor with the best view of the skyline of KL. Would recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a nice 5 star hotel in KL.

Staff. Name Gopi n partner attend us good job.... if can dont go for the new building that i been offer on my first day because the room not yet got vaccant..due i arrived early morning...we did change room the next day that they have promise..The name of the new hotel forgot...if u all can wait just wait the room u book much better.... Rooms big n nice...if i book this THotel ..i will be at THotel ...no new hotel if they offer us again..

I stayed in this hotel for two days. Overall experience was satisfying, initially we got a large bed room but the room had the heavy smoke smell, but luckily we able to change to two single bed room with better smell. The hotel do provide lift service and drinking water machine in each floor. By the way, the parking lot is quite limited near the hotel, if u r lucky enough u may get ask for reserved parking lot from hotel if there's any. Beside of that the hotel is very close to mosque, so for those light sleeper it may affect ur sleep quality in the early morning(due to praying). Hair dryer can be requested from receptionist and the worker will send to ur room. In overall, the hotel done their best to serve their customer :)) hands up for their good service!

Stayed for 2 nights. Booked twin bedroom... size is ok.. with electric kettle, tv (only 1 channel very clear - the English channel), nice bed and one pillow each. The shower room was clean with good water pressure and hot water. I love the shower room as it was very clean and just refurbished... though it can be a bit small in size. Location is the best.. 2 minutes away from monorail and lrt (Dang Wangi)... with many types of eatery surrounding it. Staff was patience - Hendry. Value for money. Tq

It was awsome. We are a family of 4 and stayed over there for two nights & 3 days. We went to see Twin Towers twice, went to Batu Caves & then China Town. The amazing thing is that all this we did on train which is accesible at a walking distances from the hotel. The other good thing is the food streets around this hotel. There are food streets for every one around this world, Pakistani, Indian, Korean, Chinese & of course european food. The hotel staff is undoubtedly very helpfull and gives you best advise for your tour free of cost. There are money changers, shopping area & banks all around this place.

This was my third stay in this modern hotel with two more stays already booked. The hotel is only 4-5 months old and facilities are still being developed which may account for the very reasonable room rates as Impiana is a fairly up-market chain. It has no restaurants but I was advised that a full breakfast will be available in their coffee shop soon with the "soft opening" on 16th September. Am not sure of their plans for a business or fitness centre (Physique, 8th floor SOGO dept store closest but not cheap). There are quite a few coffee shop and dining options in the vicinity. So far though I've only found three restaurants serving alcohol i.e. the 'quaint' Coliseum Café/Bar, The Ship Inn and the SOGO Japanese restaurant (6th floor). It's within 5 minutes walk to the monorail (Medan Tuanku), and Dang Wangi LRT(10 mins) and Bandaraya LRT (3mins) stations. Only problem I've had with this hotel is getting a booking as its becoming very popular.

It's a small hotel yeah but who needs a big one I mean as a traveller we'll spend most of our days outside. We're so happy bout the room service! Change of bedsheets and towels everyday.. Replenish tissues and coffee soaps and clean the floor! Woww! Location is nice few minutes walk to lrt and ktm train..rl rapid bus stops infront of the hotel itself near restaurants and yet a very quiet place to stay! The wifi is fast and the best thing that happened is when we needed assistance on printing my fiancé's visa the receptionist did it for us for free! I would highly recommend this hotel as it is still new and not overrated! Thanks Canary for the good stay!!!

Located in Little India, right in the Golden Triangle, is Frenz Hotel. It is a very new hotel, and not many cab drivers have heard of it. It is pretty much across the road from the Coliseum, and that seemed to work as a familiar landmark. The rooms are small, but this hotel, being pretty much brand new, has very nice fixtures. The room was very comfortable, with nice soft pillows, and a big flat screen TV. Not a huge choice of channels, but ok. One drawback was the size of the bed. I'm 6'4", not overly tall, but my feet would hang off the end unless I slept diagonally. The bathroom was nice, and featured a great rain style shower fitting. This was a great feature, but unfortunately the water heater didn't seem to keep up with the volume of water it used. The shower only ran at a warmish temperature at full pelt, or nice and hot while the volume was turned right down. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely stay there again. Having the room so nicely decked out with it's new fittings, appliances, and some art hanging above the bed gives this hotel a much nicer feel than it's 3 star rating would suggest.

We stayed Starits hotel for 4D3N. The best part of this hotel is infinity pool, have stunning view of sea shore and from there you can see Masjid Malacca. Another pros is location of hotel, walkable distance to major spots - Jonker street, St. james church, A famous and Malls.. There are couple of Indian restaurants besides the hotel, it was easy for us to have late night food. Cons - Lobby is mat flooring and it was too smelling. cause of bad smell, I got suffocation on first 2 days and last day was fine. Breakfast menu not as impressive. lot of local Malay foods.. It could better they add lot of international varieties. Hotel does not have money exchanger facility and we had currency issue on first day as all money exchanger shops are closed due to Hari raya public holiday. Overall, the stay was good and we enjoyed the stay and had good fun in pool. Room cost is lesser compare to nearyby 4 star hotels. I think ODD number rooms have sea view facing and EVEN number

It is good to stay for sleeping. Security situation is good as hotel is in front of the police station(box). I never expect to hotel service without sleeping. Internet is also very narrow to use but it is enough to use email. Agoda ask me about meal condition, how I can reply. I just check 3. It is covinience to take cheap food at hawkers with local people as my booking is without meal. My purpose to stay was seeing Merdeka events, specially parade. It is close to the place for Merdeka parade about 10 mimutes walk. I enjoyed Merdeka Eve with Malaysian till 1 am. I also found the cheapest shop in KL near hotel, where selling Indian products.
