"I cannot speak highly enough about the service I experienced in the hotel! Believe it or not I very rarely write reviews but felt obligated to in this case! From the moment I walked in everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I stayed for 4 days and can honestly say this hotel is well on its way to at least 4 stars! I rarely write reviews but all of the staff are committed to doing their absolute best from the front desk to the spa staff and my sweet cleaning lady. The hotel is still under construction which was a bit of a bummer, but despite this the actual facilities are very relaxing and well designed. The view on the roof is spectacular especially at night. Despite all the pros of this hotel I do have some areas of constructive feedback in the interest of helping to make it the best it can be: please put a fan or air con in the gym!! It’s a smaller space (still sufficient) but it gets very hot in there! Also, please add hooks to the bathroom in the lobby!"

"Also known as Milky Way Hotel, the hotel signboard is not so obvious so you may miss it sometimes. Just look for AVANTI hotel and Ngan Ha is next to it. Good location, walkable distances to many attactions such as Ben Thanh Market (just opposite the hotel), HCM City Museum (400m), HCM City Museum of Fine Arts (500m), Independence Palace (750m), Huynh Hoa Sandwich Shop (600m, ppl said it's the best banh mi in HCM), pho 2000 (150m), Pizza 4P's (170m). Limited breakfast choices (just 3 choices), but it's ok you can hunt various breakfast nearby. Stayed in the room with small window facing the hotel's staircase, it's abit too bright as no blackout curtain blocking the staircase light. Oh ya, the elevator reach 8th floor only, and you need to climb few steps to reach 9th floor (the small restaurant for breakfast). As my room is on 8th floor, it's abit noisy when people walking up to 9th floor for breakfast. Friendly service, smooth check in and check out. "

"This has got to be the best place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City! The hostel staff are the most friendliest people I've ever met, the owner is so kind and the facilities are fantastic. Stayed here for a total of 4 weeks for work, and my stay was nothing short of amazing! I actually came back a week later from Hanoi and cancelled my hotel so that I could stay here for two more nights before I went back to Australia to spend time with the staff who became very close friends of mine. They even invited you out to eat with them and made you feel very at home and part of the family! The facilities such as the dorm rooms and beds were neat and presentable, lockers were very handy and toilet facilities were clean. The hostel staff were also very approachable and hospitable, always willing to give suggestions as the best places to eat and also booking day tours and other activities when needed. I highly recommend staying here!"

"Before i start my review, i should tell u that anyone that knows me, they will tell u that i am a very picky person when it comes to hotel stay. For years, i traveled to vn a lot and thus stayed at a number of hotels. For the price & location, this is one of the best hotel around the area. It is right next to Ben Thanh near all the shopping n foods. The room is exceptional clean with housekeeping readily helpful with all my needs. The Grand Room city view was roomy, the beds were nicely firm and air conditioner was great. We stayed on the 6th flr, absolutely noise from the street. The firm mattress really helps my back after a long day out. Oh i forgot to mention about the free breakfast, it was great. It had a bit of everything, from American style breakfast (fresh eggs sunny side up to omelette) with pastry to fried rice and pho. The breakfast alone kept us full til late afternoon. In summary, we really enjoyed our stayed. We highly recommended u try out this place."

"You can't beat the location, and you can walk to most things in District 1. This is a true four star hotel (not all hotels which advertise themselves are such compared to international standards). Make sure you book a city view room. If you do then will get get a fantastic panorama of the city skyline, which is magical both day and night. Another must is the roof top terrace on the 14th floor, (the pool is also up here), where you can drink in the views, day or night. The beds are really comfortable and the room I stayed in , had a lovely new bathroom. Breakfasts were great, too. I have been to HCMC many times and have stayed in many Hotels, there. Bt when it comes to the combination of factors such as budget, quality of rooms (mine was a large city view on a higher floor), ease of walking access to most of the local sights and value for money, then you can't beat here."
