Really love this hotel! It is close to everything you need -shopping food transport. I travelled with my husband and 5yo child, older parents. Since we travelled with older person we need to stay in a hotel that close to everything- restaurant food court convenience stores especially the shopping place. We didnt pay for the breakfast since there are many restaurants and food courts open starts from 8.30 am. You can go to takasimaya food court, wisma atria food court, Toast Box in wisma atria and one just accrossed the Mt Elizabeth Hospital (behind the Paragon Mall). For malayu and indonesian who always starving for Padangs food you need to go Orchard central there is Garuda Padang Food there. Many convenience stores such as seven eleven close to the hotel. Close to public transport Bus just acrossed the hotel. ORCHARD MRT Stat is in Wisma Atria Plaza (at the left) also Somerset MRT Stat is in Orchard Central Plaza (at the right). The best hotel for you who need to be closed to everything that you needs!

We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! we visited singapore for our honeymoon trip. and i believe that one of the best decisions, which we made for our honeymoond trip was to stay in crystal club room of grand park orchard hotel. the grand park orchard hotel is located in a very convenient location, so you can go anywhere of singapore in 1 hour via bus or metro. it faces takeshimaya and paragon, so you can enjoy your shopping anytime when you need. i promise your wife will love it. also, takeshimaya has underground way to orchard station. so you do not need to worry about the famous hot and humid weather of singapore. the crystal club has wonderful tea, very best staffs, delicious food, and good services - but the cocktail night was so so. the staffs are very well-trained, educated, and friendly. the food - breakfast -was delicious. the staffs knows what i need and they are very helpful. finaly, the crystal club room has a laudary service of 2 cloths for free everyday, which was very good!!!!! it has gym and free water at gym; however, it is pretty small and does not have workout cloths. the hotel room was beautiful; but i felt that room was relatively small comparing to other 5 star hotels in singapore. but, it is not as small as other singapore hotels. if i have other chance to visit singapore with my wife, i will surely stay that hotel, grand park orchard hotel.

me & my girlfriends were having a gilr's trip to singapore for 3 nights, so we took the premier room for 4 adults. this is my first time staying at york hotel. the location is great, next to goodwood hotel & far east plaza. if you walk a bit through the mt. elizabeth road, then you end up between paragon & lucky plaza. the lobby was just okay, but the room is huge, newly renovated, the bed is very comfortable (i'm very sensitive when it comes to bed, the linens, pillow etc) and the bathroom is spacious. the conciege was very helpfull & very friendly, but the laundry service & housekeeping will knock on your door at 7am so better put on the privacy sign... thiis is the best hotel for price, location & comfort in orchard area & definitely will be back again soon!!!

This hotel is in the best location if you want to be near Orchard Road. It was right in the middle of orchard road but slightly further back so its away from the noisy busy streets of orchard road. Right in front of the hotel is a great little side street which is open all day and all night serving fresh seafood, satay skewers, hainan chicken rice and a lot of other yummy things for a cheap price. The hotel was very clean, and our room was perfect. we were on the top floor so the room was very quiet. the hotel lobby staff were amazing also. We had the best stay there and would definately stay again.

The reception staff were great, arrived hotel at 7am way before check in time and was given a key card to the gym for a quick shower and change of clothes. Back at 12.30 for early check in which was a breeze. The room was very large, modern, well furnished and very very clean. A fault with the ventilation fan making a dull repetitive noise was quickly fixed by maintenance. Breakfast was not bad lots of choices but the coffee not the best. The location is excellent with bus stops in front and two MRT lines within a 5-10 mins walk and a large shopping center Plaza Singapore just minutes away. There’s plenty of cheap hawker food choices surrounding the hotel. Especially the row of 5 Chinese hawker stall operating on the right side of the hotel. The only negative I found was that the bed and the pillows were too hard and I couldn’t really sleep.

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Plaza hotel that much that we will be booking again for this hotel very soon. Having travelled the world on business and pleasure, the Royal laza offered everything that you would want on a hotel stay. The most outstanding aspect was the "real" freindliness and politeness of the staff. many other hotel staff are friendly and polite because they are encouraged to, however, the staff at Royal Plaza were some of the most genuine staff we have encountered in our years of travel. Looking to stay in central Singapore, why look any further than this hotel.

The location is good as it is near to Far East Plaza and Orchard Road. However, there are few things I am very unhappy with this hotel, given it is a 5 star hotel. First, there was no bell boy to carry my bags when I checked in. Being a single girl travelling, did they expect me to carry somewhat 30 kgs by myself. SEcond, It was very hard to request for early check in unlike other 5-stars hotel in Singapore that I used to stay before. Third, it was extremely difficult to catch a taxi from this hotel. I had to wait for almost an hour. I then requested the staff to call and book a taxi for me as I needed to go somewhere urgently. However, the hotel staff told me that they could not get through the taxi service. My suggestion: call another taxi company if one couldnt get through. Singapore has many taxi companies.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

The service was great, the staff is more than keen yo help you. The hotel as well is beautiful. We stayed at the executive studio and even that we found it exclusively luxurious. The location is the best part. The hotel has linked bridge yo the paragon mall, than just a few metres from the mall you can access the orchard mrt station. The hotel provide you with a handphone which is so handy and you can bring it anywhere, just making sure to return back before checking out.

Location is good because vehicles generally do not really need to pay ERP fees when travelling to and from the hotel. If you really need to take a cab to travel nearby within the ERP area, just walk a short distance towards Tang's or Lucky Plaza and flag a cab there to avoid that surcharges on your cab fees. Underpass to Orchard MRT, ION and WISMA is nearby after Tang's. Local street food is available at Far East Plaza just beside it (upper levels). Cinema is opposite at Lido Shaw's Theatres. Every staff was trained to greet visitors and offer assistance even when I was just sharing a lift or randomly passing by.

Our 4 nights stay with Orchard Hotel was great. We stayed at 2x Superior rooms as our boys stayed on the other room. The rooms were very clean and the beds were really cozy and comfortable to sleep in. The cleaner as we requested cleaned our rooms almost everyday. When we arrived the friendly Filipina staff, Mel checked us in and we requested that our 2 rooms be right next to each other. We got the requested rooms thanks to Mel. The following day I inquired with the Hotel's tour desk and we booked for our Sentosa, Night Safari and the Cheng Ho Dinner Cruise. On the times that we were not joining the local tours, we've been walking from our hotel down to Orchard Road. We basically entered most of the buildings and had been in and out of all the boutiques and high end shops. Gosh!!!! My leg hurts but it was a good excercise. During weekends we could see lot of Filipinos around Orchard Road. We tried taking the MRT experience going to Clark Quay to eat a crabby lunch at Jumbo Restaurant and then after a big meal we walked to Chinatown. The hotel's location was great. We just have to walk towards the road to start our trail going down to Orchard Road. On our last day we tried having lunch at the 2nd level Chinese Rest. They have a good selection of food there. Yum-cha's good too. Downstairs at the Cafe they have a very nice buffet lunch and dinner. I just looked on the food selections and they were nice too. We didn't try it, next time we will. Our overall experience with Orchard Hotel was an A plus. We will recommend to our family and friends to stay there when they visit Singapore. We like Singapore. It is so clean and quiet and feels so safe to travel around and very similar to our experience at Orchard Hotel. SEE YOU NEXT TIME IN ORCHARD HOTEL. All the best to all of you guys. I feel that having the convenience food at the lobby was really convenient especially that it's ready-made because we can easily get food in the middle of the night. Technically it is relatively near to Far East Plaza, it's just a short walking distance to a bus stop where you can catch any bus from opposite the bridge to Far East Plaza. It's just 2 stops down! The room is huge, considering that I booked a deluxe room with 2 queen beds! It's a nice hotel, and the environment is really quiet and conducive. The cons to note is that, if you're not yet 21, you can book the hotel on agoda but you need a 21 year old adult to authorize it with you at the hotel. Because they need a 21 year old to be held liable for whatever damages the room might suffer? So yup! That's about it.

My second time staying in Novotel. New hotel, near Orchard road, but away from the bustling of Orchard crowd. A few not so positive things to note : 1. I didn’t not request for an extra bed, but when I got to my room, there was an extra bed inside. I had booked the room for one pax only. 2. For a relatively new hotel, the drainage system is not very well maintained, shower room floods every time i used it 3. Lacking basic toiletries in shower cap, soap dish. 4. Aircon system of Food Exchange not maintained. Water dripping from ceiling, and heavy water marks can be seen around the aircon vent. 5. The hotel could have provided more information on shuttle bus service from T Galleria back to hotel, give the location of the pick up point at T Galleria. Other than that, it’s a cosy place, friendly staff, clean environment.

We spent 4 nights from 19 Dec to 23 Dec 2017 at Shangrila Apartments, with 3 adults, and 4 years & 7 years kids. We booked apartment with 1 bedroom & extra bed. Location wise is very quiet and is within 13 minutes walking to Lucky Plaza. Small private buses are available to drive you to Orchards shopping centre area, with scheduled timetable, though. The staffs are professional, very responsive & have very good attitudes. Room is clean and have all standard apartment utilities, although the microwave is quite old (using old technology that is not as easy to use compared to the modern one). Booking with Agoda is very easy and the coordination with Shangrila Aprtments is two thumbs up. Overall, it is good value for the money with expected Shangrila standards. Ofcourse, We will come again.

Singapore Hotels are quite expensive even their Hostels so booking with Holiday Inn Express is still considered a bit expensive as compared to rates in other countries we visited. But for Singapore, the rate is alright since all bookings include breakfast (though not extensive in choices but enough to start your day) and wifi (fast and quite reliable for browsing and posting in facebook). Hotel is located in between the Somerset and Orchard MRT - parallel to Orchard Road. You just have to look for Paragon Mall and go into that street then turn to Bideford St. and you'll immediately see the hotel. It is in front of a Mosque but the sound from the Mosque does not bother you especially when you are inside the room already. Personally we preferred to use the Orchard MRT since you'll just pass through Tang's and Lucky Plaza to get to the station. We did not experience any problems in checking in and out. Quite fast and hassle free. They offer free toiletries (sanitary napkin, shaver, etc), you just have to ask from the front desk. What we love about the room is their bathroom. They used a door that can close the main toilet and also the shower. Quite hard to explain and take a picture of but something that I appreciated since it's quirky and unique. We recommend this hotel and we'll definitely go back since we love IHG and we had a very nice and hassle free experience in this branch.

It was my first time travelling out of country so I made sure I'd get the best hotel with cheaper price, and so I decided to book with Agoda. Checking in was fast. I spent not longer than 5 minutes and we were good to go in to our room. Check in should be at 2pm but we were made to check in an hour earlier since the room was ready when we got there. The hotel us quite far from famous tourist attractions but there is a bus stop just across the hotel in front of Raffles Girls School. Also, you can take taxi just in front of the hotel entrance, or take a Grab ride. Rooms were quite small but really clean. If you are a tourist and you spend most of your time outside, you wouldn't really mind the room size. I had a great time staying there. If I go back to Singapore, I would choose to stay here again.

We had a good stay at Hotel fort canning. The hotel self is surrounded by a park, which makes you feel a little bit outside of everything which is good, however it is very centrally located and very close to the MRT station Dhoby Gaut, and the nice shopping mall Plaza Singapura where you can Eat a lot of nice food, although not fancy but more western fast food that they dont have in other southeast Asian countries. The staff was very proffessional and kinda stiff, but stll very friendly, they are doing their job. Although when we checked out we had to remind them that we had to get out deposit money back. Kind of an awkward situation, since the receptionist cleraly wanted to be done checking us out so we had to notify him that we would like t have our 100 sgd back. The room service food was not good, pricy, as it is in Singapore we wold think that the qualtiy of room service in a 5 star hotel would be really good, but no. Overall we had a good stay and might come back to stay there.

I have always stayed here when coming to Singapore. Singapore Marriott Hotel is the best and my most favourite hotel to stay when coming to Singapore, highly recommended especially if you are a shoppaholic. It is located exactly at the centre of the great Orchard Road which everyone knows is a shopping heaven for all shoppers. Around the hotel, there are several big shopping malls like the ION Orchard, Wisma Atria, Takashimaya, Shaw Centre, Wheelock Place, Far East Plaza, Tangs Plaza, Lucky Plaza, Paragon, and some other smaller shops scattered around the Orchard Road and all of them are only minutes of walking distance from the hotel. It is always be my first choice of hotel when coming to Singapore.

This hotel is perfect for our family. We stay for 3 nights and the double queen size bed accommodates me, my wife & our two children very well. Next to the hotel is Cuppage Plaza and it's food court. Not to mention it's only 5 minutes easy walk to Orchard road. The room also very clean & furnished very well and seems that it is recently had its renovation. Talk about value, couldn't be better that this.

when we arrived at shangri-la we weren't really expecting anything too over the top as we had not heard much about the hotel or hotel chain before. the check-in service was fast and very smooth. we went to find the room but had a little trouble, so we asked one of the staff if he could help. he took us to our door and made sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. it was only after calling the reception to ask about the horizon club benifits and the location of the club lounge, that we found out our room was upgraded to valley wing deluxe. from the point we were made feel so special by the staff in the valley wing. the complimentary breakfast, the hor dourves and beverages are amazing. valley wing at shangri-la serve the best singapore sling, much better than any others i have tried. the rooms are very comfortable nice big bed, electronic everything, high-tech entertainment system, mood lighting and very clean. shangri-la has definatly taken the crown for best hotel in singapore in my books and that is out of alot of heavy hitting luxury hotels.

The location is the main part of my review. The locations is a bit far from the central orchard (takasimaya, paragon, etc) require about 3-5 minute walk via underpass to there. A bit far from me because the last time i stay in mandarin orchard (this hotel is centrally located). I think the room is a bit small compare to other hotel that i've been stayed in singapore. Other than that the service and staff are hilton standard, whiches a good one. One of the restaurant at the hotel are claimed one of the 50th best restaurant in the world by the brochure in the hotel. Oh by the way it doesn't have free wi-fi whiches disappointing and one time i take a shower the water heater is not working like it supposed to do (only slightly warm compare from the other time i used the shower)

Overall it was an awesome experience. The room was spacious, nicely furnished and decorated, bathroom was big and cosy, bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located really close to Orchard Road, a good 20-minutes leisurely stroll or about 2-3 bus stops away. It was not cheap, but it is worth every single cent we paid for. The brunch at Le Brezza was very good too, they have really nice and fresh seafood, best oysters we ever had. On the downside, we found the spread for the evening cocktail very limited. And I craved for ice cream and called the personal butler to find out what flavor ice creams they had, however, they couldn't tell me and I was only told 'seasonal flavors'. Nevertheless, this wouldn't stop me from going back to St.Regis again. We were very satisfied with our stay overall. Oh, not to forget, they upgraded us to a better room and arranged for late check-out without us asking for it even. Great value-added service! Two thumbs-up! Highly recommended.

We are locals and decided to take a 3 night getaway, attending a wedding dinner at the hotel on the 2nd night. We drove in on a Friday 30th Sept 2011 and checked out on Monday 3rd Oct - no problem getting complimentary parking coupons from the Concierge. Our request for a non-smoking quiet room on a higher floor was granted without fuss (1018). The room was decorated with warm colours and toiletries were "L'Occitane" products. This package came with an upgrade to the Deluxe room. We were very comfortable relaxing in the room which came with a study table and large screen TV, good supply of tea bags. A big bonus was the free internet service with came with the package. Bed was great for sleeping - nice big pillows. Its a good idea to give Housekeeping a call to make up the room when you go for breakfast. They attended to that efficiently. One thing that stood out for us at the Regent was the friendliness of the staff. A far cry from a 6 Star hotel down the road which is often cold and impersonal. So the smiles and pleasant service at The Regent truly made us very welcome. - The efficiency of the breakfast staff in clearing the plates on our table was very good. Staff Lin Chang stood out in this area - very sharp and quick. The breakfast spread served the best French Toast we have ever tasted (but it rotates with waffles & pancake on diff days - the french toast was served on Sat). Unfortunately our request for the French Toast the next day could not be met. Also the baked bacon (tad salty but tender) and honey ham was very nicely done. They served japanese rice & miso soup - but it was rather strange and didnt make sense for many of the condiments and pickles to be placed at another station near the fruits. Most of us wouldnt know there were other condiments for the rice. The Regent has managed to create a warm and welcoming ambience for us - most refreshing compared to many other hotels here. Most definitely recommend this hotel.

Lloyd's Inn is definitely a perfect getaway for couples looking to spend some time with their loved ones in a quiet and peaceful environment. The hotel is predominantly coloured in black and white, giving us the classic and chic feel and at the same time, coupled with patches of greenery which makes us feel close to nature. It also had a small dipping pool that complement the overall aesthetic of the hotel. It is strategically located between Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations, both approximately 10 minutes walk from Lloyd's Inn, which houses well-known shopping places like 313 Somerset and Plaza Singapura and also, many restaurants and cafes for both locals and tourists, ranging from normal coffeeshop to high end delicacies. My girlfriend and I were given a complimentary upgrade to The Patio room, and were taken aback by their generosity. The room was much larger than expected and even had an outdoor bathroom (don't worry, it's covered from outside view). The bed was neither too soft nor too hard, and provided us with a good night sleep. We were initially concerned about insects mentioned in some reviews, but didn't faced any during our stay. As for breakfast, we were given complimentary tickets and chose Killiney Kopitiam (Kaya/French Toast with Soft-Boiled Egg and Coffee/Tea) over Freshly Baked (American Breakfast with $7 top-up). All in all, we love how detailed the room was designed and it really made us, as Singaporeans, feel that we are overseas! A shoutout to all their staffs for making our 3rd year anniversary a memorable and unforgettable one. Will definitely visit again!

Very friendly and welcoming staff team, every single person greeted us at all times even when we ran across them in the parking lot. We were shown around the property when we arrived and got to see all facilities. Breakfast was nice, always refilled with fresh fruit, toast etc. Free coffee 24 hours from machine in lobby. Nice gym area, open 24 hours. very nice pool area with plenty of shade and free pool towels. We booked a one room apartment which was very sufficient for one week, but had of course some minor limitations, such as only one comfy chair for 2 people (plus two kitchen chairs). No electrical outlet in the bathroom, so you must blowdry your hair in livingroom with no mirror. very convenient to have our own washing machine in the bathroom. a foldable hanging rack for clothes would have been perfect to have. upon arrival, basic set of groceries is provided, very convenient. plenty of supermarkets nearby, lookout for cold storage or fairprice shops. fresh drinking water provided daily and additionally upon request by reception. no housekeeping on weekends, but we were told we could ask for fresh towels from reception those days too. Residence location is off Orchard Rd on a side street, you can cross through to Scotts Plaza Hotel lobby via carpark. Orchard MRT station must be reached via underpass through 2 malls, which can be a bit tiring at times. would come again, mostly for friendly staff and great pool area.

Traveling in a small group, our experience at the hotel was great! It's only 3 stops from the main Orchard shopping area, eg. Tang Plaza, AON, etc, by bus. With a toddler, we take cabs frequently between the hotel and the Orchard MRT (because bus isn't stroller-friendly at all). The front desk sells EZcards for travelers to go on bus and MRT. There was a swimming pool for teens, children and toddlers. I am very pleased with the free daily breakfast at the cafeteria. It carries a variety of Asian and Western warm breakfast items which is impressive. The hotel has free wifi for each floor which is very helpful to connect with others (local phone calls do charge). The 3-people room is clean and spacious with big wardrobes. My friends and I share the bathroom but we each can have our own wardrobes. The bathroom is pretty standard and we all find it very clean. The downside is that the reception staff isn't knowledgeable in giving directions. For a few times we asked them how to get to a mall in Orchard, or go to Bugis (Little India) by bus, they weren't able to give correct directions which ended up making us going extra miles to find our destination. The laundramat didn't work because the washing machines only accepted new $1 coins which the front desk doesn't carry. The traffic can be very jammed-pack during rush hour and early Sunday mornings in this neighborhood (=meaning hard to catch a bus or a taxi because they are often full). Considering if you are traveling in groups, this isn't a bad choice because it values for its price!

The Fort Canning Lodge is a relatively cheap (for Singapore) three star hotel, which is one of the two budget hotels I may stay at transiting Singapore 7-8 time annually as academic. Have been staying there off and on since the late 1990s. Basically a family hotel rather than a business hotel. Location is just around the corner from Plaza Singapura, and not far from the Clarke and Boat Quays. Just across the street from Fort Canning, best park in Singapore. Laundromat in the basement. Breakfast is okay but not great, so I would normally just book the room alone and go to McDonald's nearby for breakfast. Would recommend it for anyone on a budget. Great value for Singapore purposes.

Best location (near Ion Orchard, Hard Rock, Orchard MRT, Borders bookstore, and many restaurants). We booked for Standard Room and being upgraded during check-in without any charges. The room is big, with its own walking closet, LCD screen (even though view from the window was not so good, but it's OK). There's shuttle bus to Universal Studio (but not via versa). Clean. Mineral water, coffee, tea, toiletries, towel were replaced everyday. Better booking including breakfast, because it is cheaper than having breakfast on the sport at the hotel restaurant. But if you dont want breakfast at the hotel, there are many restaurant, food stall, as well as SevenEleven near the hotel. Directly next to the right of the hotel is Starbucks, Black Angus Steak, A Pizza/Pasta restaurant, also 7-11, hotdog and kebab booth. There is a facility for washing and drying clothers using paid machine on 6th Floor. Dont have time to try it, but it seems helpful for long time traveler. Overall, it is a value for money hotel, located @Orchard Road and price is still reasonable.
