The hotel location is great, close to the national park and multiple restaurants around. The suite is awesome! big and nice to be in. and I really liked the breakfast as well on the downside: - Swimming pool is nice, but most days of the year - it's way to cold for you to use - The floor in the room is extremely slippery once it gets a bit wet, out toddler slipped like 10 times on the first day - the faucets are not user-friendly (hard to notice what's what) and the hot/cold water stream varies too much (you think you nailed it, then it burns you or it's too cold) - toilet paper, never noticed it in any other hotel, was one of those cheap ones that immediately dissolves after getting a bit wet, you would never buy those to your own home, and it just feels like the hotel is saving on your expense - the room was clean, but going to the public restrooms (next to the breakfast) felt like entering a public restroom at a central bus station

I stayed at the Escape Khaoyai for 2 nights and I must say that most things have exceeded my expectations. The service staffs are excellent - so helpful and friendly. Service-wise this is beyond 5-star and I would return here again just for the service alone. The view is very beautiful but not extraordinary. I stayed in the Deluxe Room which I think is a bit small for the bed (the bed is huge...), but everything is in very good condition + very clean/well-maintained. One major disappointment is that there is "no working desk", or even any table for that matter, which I found to be disappointing as I was there on a business trip and I ended up having to work on my bed... but the wifi is fast enough so I made do without the chair/desk. The included breakfast is a bit limited but very good quality. Just like everywhere else in Khaoyai, fresh produce are really fresh and clean. The home-brew coffee was great and homemade yoghurt is very addictive. All that being said, I would still say that Escape Khaoyai has exceeded my expectation as a 4-star hotel, and I would definitely return again. My last kudo goes to the service staff - they are fantastic!

Going beyond the excellent service from the DusitD2 team. 1) We were alerted on the power failure at the holiday days before we arrive the holiday. Notified and expecting the electricity to be up and running by 5pm but the electricity in the region was still disrupted. Fans and room light was still operating so we stayed for a night and enjoyed the good ambience without electronics (TV/Phone) and connect to the nature and chit chat for the night. 2) Was hungry at night and we visited the restaurant at 1030pm. Restaurant was closed but they manage to still wipe out a good meal just to satisfy our tummy. That's the extra mile they would go and really appreciate the actions from them. 3) The next day we decided not to continue with DusitD2 as we need electricity to charge our phones so we requested to move out. The manager of the hotel quickly booked a high end hotel (Free of charge) for us and placed us at Atta Lakeside Resort within 10mins. The room in DusitD2 is a perfect getaway for couple. Most of the tourist was put on a new resort/hotel due to the electricity outage so we had a quiet stay and enjoyed the mountain view in our 1 day with DusitD2 . Upon arriving at the La Casetta, the check-in was fast. My family and I were given glasses of juice which was refreshing. The hotel room was prepared for us in advance and we checked in quickly. On Christmas Day, the hotel surprised my family and I by placing a ginger bread man on each of our bed. For daily breakfast, we can either select western or traditional Thai. The western breakfast is located at the second level while the traditional breakfast is at the third level. I remembered both days we ordered omelette and it was one of the best that I have tasted!! So delicious!! Also, we tried both types of breakfast and the fish congee was so delicious! For photo taking, there are many excellent spots within the hotel surrounding to take! My family and I enjoyed the quietness and the fresh air early every morning. A great place for all sorts of travellers to enjoy the peacefulness and the natural beauty of this place!! Advisable to book this hotel early especially during peak seasons!

Beautiful resort, which really makes you think you are in Italy. Food was great. Shame we didn't get to go for a bike ride as it looked like a good activity. One point though is that service was mixed at times. I ordered dinner and wine, the wine we had to sign for straight away without even touching it. I've never been at a hotel restaurant and had to sign/pay for wine before end. Also, reception rang up 10mins past checkout to see where we are. Come on, 10mins late? That put a dampener on my stay.

Front desk resort lady greeted us with a big welcome smile and immediately made my family feel at home. Thank you, to the lady who worked at the frondeak dated 25/July/2018. Breakfast was simple but filling. Room was clean. The best here is the funky and cool oriental library and children’s playeoom. If you have young kids, they will love the paintings on the walls around the resort and inside the rooms as well. Will surely come back.

Researched on Khao Yai for it's good accommodation places without breaking the bank. This 4 star hotel fits the bill. The resort is huge and it's being well kept. The rooms are big and comfortable to stay in. All the appliances and electrical works in the room. Cons: At random time the hot water doesn't work (esp at night and morning). The wifi signal is rather weak in the room, keeps on disconnecting. The TV channels are mostly dubbed in Thai, so in room entertainments were limited. Pros: Rooms are huge with certain rooms have great views. Rooms services are prompt and reliable. A good spread for breakfast (little choices for halal food though). Great location of the resort, near to many of places of interest. Resort is located just beside Palio Village! Really enjoyed the stay there and would come again. Will definitely recommend to stay in this resort.

Great staff, very clean, and very nice furniture! Both the shower and AC, though very new, are impossible to set to a comfortable temperature. The hot water in the shower comes and goes, so you have about 2 seconds every minute or so that the water isn’t either uncomfortably cool or scorching hot. If you set the AC to 24, it’s the equivalent to our home AC being set to 20, and 25 here is the equivalent of 26 or so at home, so again, you gotta choose either a bit too cold or a bit too hot. The drinks at breakfast were great! Better juice options than any hotel I’ve stayed in in Thailand, and also better hot drinks (coffee, cocoa, Thai tea, black tea). They had potatoes that got me very excited! But they were already cold even though we were there within an half hour of breakfast opening.. there was a pretty good selection, but as far as we could tell the only actually hot food available were the made-to-order eggs, and the self-serve toast. Mattress is stiffer than I like.

The hotel is nice, new, clean. Staffs are friendly. They don't really speak english but trying their best to understand us. Good location to escape from busy city but not convenient at night as there is no shop nearby. Do grab some foods before you back to hotel is recommended. Hotel is clean and nice design but soundproof is not really good. Overall, good for short stay & prebook transport to be ready before your stay.

Spent 2nights at Splendid Hotel, Floral Suite. No regrets. Everything was above my expectation from the moment I alighted from taxi till I check out. Met with all friendly staff at reception, at restaurant, janitor .... everybody. My biggest surprise was the restaurant, Aramis. It was empty when I went for dinner maybe food was bad?However, my family was pleasantly surprise with the quality of food served. And about the suite, if you love nature and tranquility, this is it. It has mountain view. I enjoyed watching birds in the morning from the comfort of the balcony. Spotted hornbills and white squirrel. Will definitely book this suite again if I’m in Khaoyai.

We booked this as we were looking for a big enough room that would sleep 3pax without having to book an extra bed. Would recommend this hotel, service by staff was excellent and they took the initiative to assist without us requesting. Little bamboo grove at the back reminded me of a mini kyoto was also a nice surprise. For those that enjoyed taking pictures, the hotel even provided complementary kimonos for wearing.

The property consists of a hotel block and 2 apartment blocks at the back. It is not clear from the booking details if it is the hotel or the apartment you are booking. I was given a spacious apartment and if you want to stay away from the noisier hotel side, the apartment is a good choice. It is a short pleasant walk to the hotel (where the facilities and restaurant are) and a golf cart is available if you don't want to walk. I had a slight argument with the front desk on check in when I was only given 2 breakfast coupons per day even though I made a booking for 4 people (breakfast inclusive). She insisted it was policy to issue only 2 per room and that I could buy the additional coupons at the restaurant. In the end, the manager gave me 4 coupons per day. However, breakfast quality was poor and everything ran out so it didn't make a difference. We skipped breakfast after the first day. Overall a decent hotel but plan for breakfast outside for a better start to the day.

Condo style property. Was allocated to room with mountain view. Love the swing in balcony. Very homely feel. Better check in before 6pm as Front desk only available till 6pm. Not sure why it stated check in time till 0.00hour. No phone provided in the room to contact front desk etc. So it’s not 24hour front desk service. Room was spacious with basic kitchen facilities but no cooking allow as they locked the cabinet for pot. Kids slept in living room while watching Netflix. Hotel close to majority of the attractions. We do not see any cafe or restaurant nearby in walking distance. So better dine out before return to hotel else pack your food back to hotel. Overall nice stay. 👍

Temp was 20deg when we were there. No difficulty looking for the hotel, we couldn't find the check in desk as it was actually inside the restaurant and had no signage. Staff spoke very little English but was glad to meet the owner who speaks perfect English and she was very helpful. She gave info to customers, direct them, even serve at the restaurant. Very humble lady. Breakfast was very good but only avail after 8am. we had 3 rooms for 9 of us and all with vineyard view. Rooms were big enough for an extra bed. I love the fresh smell of the towels and linen. Clean rooms. Been to Khaoyai several times but this hotel is the best of all.

We booked a night at Villa Malinee and totally fell in love with the place. The hotel isn't on the main road, but this isn't the case as everyone is driving here anyway. The road to the hotel might be quite dark after sunset so be cautious. There're only seven rooms with different names, locating amidst nice garden. The sunset view from the public balcony is breathtaking. The room isn't that spacious, but provided everything we need. Travellers with friends or families with kids will love this place as well. There's a pool to swim or simply take a dip. The garden is extremely nice and well maintained. If it's not raining, the breakfast will be served in the garden. The best things here are the staff and food. Everyone is so helpful and made us feel like home. Food is incredibly awesome. We tasted most of the menus available and we are agreed that the food here is probably the best in Khao Yai. We could even drive from Bangkok just to eat here. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Don't forget to ask if there're any special menu and desserts available on the day. The criossants here are one of the best too, great buttery layers with perfect crust. We would highly recommend this place to everyone if you are looking for a tranquil place to truly relax. This place is definitely our number 1 pick in Khao Yai.

Overall a nice hotel. Room was large and clean. Bathroom was clean and functional. A/C was very cold, and WiFi was fast enough for our weekend away. Service was fair: front desk staff was at first very confused by the idea that we wanted to find a ride to a local restaurants; but after clarification, they organized a ride in a hotel truck to/from restaurants for both nights we stayed there (free of charge!). The pool was clean and was large, though we didn't use it. Best of all, the hotel is really close to the Park's entrance.
