Booked and stayed for 3 nights before heading to siem reap. What stood out is the friendliness and guidance given to you by the staff. Although there is a slight language barrier problems, their eagerness to help you out and service is excellent. They helped us also with our booking for our flight to siem reap, they were very hospitable and cheerful. Upon arrival we felt welcomed and upon seeing the room, it was just wow. Great value for the money. Complete with amenities, complimentary products, carpeted floor, bathtub. The bed was so comfortable and they were generous with the pillows. It felt as if they didn't want us to explore the city and instead relax and have a staycation in their hotel for the whole length of our stay because of the comfort that it offered. The hotel is a 6 story building and at the ground floor, they have a garden connected to the restaurant so you can dine there, grab a drink or smoke, on the 6th floor is their spa service, and in the rooftop, yey! pool! Good view from the rooftop, I felt relaxed when I'm at their pool area. Buffet breakfast was ok. Their pho is great. It is near the airport so we didn't have any problems in terms of our arrival or departure. To get around the city is not hard in Ho Chi Minh because there's uber and grab. We didn't bother taking the regular cabs because of bad reviews. Do try taking the grab bike at night when it's not sunny and hot. All in all, this hotel is excellent, and if I were to revisit Ho Chi Minh, this will undoubtedly be my 1st choice.

I got the first flight in the morning out of HCMC so I book this hotel to reduce travelling. The building itself looks amazing, and the furniture is good. My room was quite small, smaller than needed. Also it did not look secure, having two easy-to-access but delicate windows and no safe at all. However it was super clean and sufficient. The staff a very nice and polite, too. If you go on the direction to the airport, you can find some good restaurants, and what can be called Korean town. I had dinner at Tokyo Deli, a Japanese-style restaurant on the other side of the street recommended by some of my friends, and it was really good (There are branches in other sections of the city, too). Although the hotel close to the airport, access is not quite easy: it's too far to walk, yet too close to call a taxi.

Upon arrival, we were kindly and warmly greeted, when I called for help, someone was sent up immediately and helped me resolve my challenge(it was my bad), and the bedroom was VERY comfortable, clean, and the light switches next to the bed were very neat/convenient. The warm ambient light switch option was enjoyable, the complimentary bottled waters were nice, and the breakfast was my favorite part. By far the best breakfast with the most options I've ever experienced at a simple hotel. For what it is, it's great. We got the room during a promo deal, so we paid 1/2 price or something. Now knowing what it's like, we'd happily pay full price for it.

Compared to a local 5 Star I was staying till I extended my stay and shifted here, it is like comparing heaven and earth. First off, Ibis is an excellent choice albeit having a much smaller compound. But the decor and design really beats it higher starred competitor. On top of this, the ambiance and freshness of Ibis really puts the local 5 star hotel to shame. Room that I chose was small, but nicely designed and "spacious". The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and with a big wide screen TV right in front of it. I will definitely try their bigger size rooms in the future. One note to all visitors is a must try roof top floor, labelled as "T" on their lift buttons. It gives a nice view of the Airport and also downtown HCM. There is also a pool and bar. Within a few minutes "hazardous" walk from Ibis, is the local domestic airport who have nice food at the basement. And a Parkson right beside the hotel with a food court. The crowning Jewel is a Starbucks right at the ground floor, and it that does not tickle your fancy, a small Trung Nguyen outlet just round the corner, and a few other coffee joints like Highlands coffee within walking distance. Also Super Bowl ( or something bowl which i cannot remember) is within 15 minutes (give or take based on your pace) walking distance as well. That area / mall, has a wide selection of restaurants and coffee outlets. Ibis also provided free airport transfer for my departure flight. All in all, I highly recommend any folks who plan to live around the airport area to consider Ibis, if it is within your budget.

Wow! Le Saigon Hotel blew me away . Now, I have stopped at some 4 star hotels in Nha Trang and this hotel was better! Brand new! Luxurious and absolutely faultless . They have some free water and pot noodles in the room and a well stocked mini bar along with snacks at reasonable prices . The bed linen is thick, light and luxurious . The two club chairs in the room are like suede and there's a safe in the large built in robe . Free 5 star style slippers and a modern luxurious bathroom with beautiful towels and free ablutional extras put it above all others . I may go out of my way and stop there on the return trip! With breakfast included you can get the best value for money and start your visit or return on a high note . Sai Gon and Viet Nam continues to surprise me . Have a look under the basin in the room . The beauty is not only skin deep, whoever oversaw the construction of this place should be awarded a medal . It makes the Peninsular Hotel in Singapore look like a dump .

Parkroyal Saigon was perfect for a quick 2 night lay over in Ho Chi Minh City to break up the long cross pacific flight. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport and 25 minutes from District 1...in traffic. There is a lovely little park across the street for strolling in(if you are brave enough to cross the road). The staff is fantastic. One young man( I wish I could remember his name) wrote down a few suggestions to hand to the taxi driver and made sure we had the hotel address to help us get back. We used Grab taxis which were plentiful and 1/2 the price of the Green or White taxis. The pool is nice with shady spots available throughout the day. The breakfast buffet was extensive and yummy. They even packed up a to go breakfast since our flight left earlier than the buffet opened. That was a godsend standing in the very long immigration line. 2 hours ahead for the international flight was barely enough time at the airport... I definitely would recommend Parkroyal Saigon!

I stayed at this hotel for a night en route to Kuala Lumpur. I have been to many HCM hotels and this is one of the best. The staff is very helpful and respect you. On the day I checked out, my wife asked me to buy rice paper. Although have been to HCM many times, I do not really know where to buy the rice paper so ask the hotel for direction. Instead of giving direction, the bell boy (Mr Thu - I hope the spelling is correct) offer me to buy it himself. He took his bike and when I checked out, the rice paper is ready for collection. He does not charge me a single Dong for that service. Bravo Mr Thu for your excellent service and assistance. Will certainly come back in the future

Our second stay here. Closest to airport, with shopping and food choices in the immediate area. Definitely not a walking street. Number 152 bus stops outside (5000 dong), and will get you down town just as fast as the 125,000 dong taxi. WiFi spotty. It was a business trip so that made a difference. Hotel breakfast much improved over our last stay. Cleaning staff simply wonderful. Note to front desk: We booked for 4 days and stayed 5. We're fresh off a 26 hour series of plane rides. Don't give us a hard time about checking in 2 hours early. We don't want to hear it. You have your schedule, we have ours, and your customers are all most always from the airport, which has their schedules too. Having lived in Vietnam with my wife, and traveling the country for all most 3 years, I find it interesting that this is the only hotel that ever checked our marriage certificate.

We stayed here twice flying into and out of HCMC. It is the perfect little hotel for a quick stopover. Short cab ride from the airport. The hotel is new and is sparsely furnished as most SE Asian hotels are. However it was spotlessly clean, had quiet air conditioning, includes a buffet breakfast and the staff are sweet! Perhaps the best part is the local neighborhood it is located in. It's is where people actually live! We had two of our best dinners at a restaurant just across the street. I will definitely stay here again. Nothing negative to say, really!

We just spent one night there in order to be at the airport early in the morning without struggling with traffic-jam. Staff is very helpful ant although not perfect, the room we had was spacious and comfortable. One towel from previous customers had been forgotten in the shower, that's why I don't give 5 stars. Otherwise very clean, and there's a good and cheap restaurant just on the left of the hotel.

First of all, the warm welcome from staff. I arrived at 11 PM and staff help me to carry luggage to check in and to the room. Didn't expect it from 2 stars hotel. Location of hotel is pretty good, it closes to airport and also near some local food store like Pho, or noodle, rice with displace ,reasonable price ... Just few minute walking. Room is pretty clean and big, toilet also big and clean make me feel really comfortable. My room doesn't have a window but the ventilation system working pretty well, air is clean. That's all i want from a hotel to stay in transit time. Value for money is a plus. In 29-Apr I come to Ho Chi Minh and stay in another hotel in Hoang Van Thu street with higher price but compare to this is nothing. I think it's worth the money I paid for. Finally really happy with this hotel, will come back again when have business trip in HCM city. Recommend for everyone.

Staff service & facilities: Very recently built 6 fl of hotel. since nov 2017. Very good maintaining keep cleaning of 45 spacious guest room and equipped with safety box at each room. For emergency exit stairway made in iron is located back side of building. Staffs at reception including a young manager can speak English fluently and warmest services including free rental service of umbrella. Dinning room in the ground flloor. is spacious, breafast buffet is fine for moslty people. VN suop noodle, fried rice and eggs, beef & pork fried vegestable , toast with butter and fruits jam, coffee anf LIPTON tea. Eat out, within 1 to 3Km , Lotte mark and food court, Japanes AEON shopping mall where big food court, By walk few hundred meters Japanses restaurant, Com Ga (steam chicken and rice) , AEON supermrket, The coffee house..If you want massage, by taxi to get super bowelling center near by airport terminal way, also Japanes and italin food

TTC Hotel , great location, just refurbished. Hotel room was clean, nice city view, big windows, spacious, Good sized desk for laptop, power supply chord provided with USB jack which was nice, internet connection was stable and fast enough. Sufficient for business traveler. No pool facilities, roof top bar was locked in the morning so no view. Smaller gym which generally no one uses. Didn't have time for facilities so complaint. Overall good spacious hotel, helpful staff. Could be back again with family.

The Studio Suite was advertised as 45 square meters, but is actually only about 33 square meters. 33 square meters is plenty of room for 1 or 2 people, I don't see why they need to lie about the room size. It is for this reason of dishonesty that I gave them a low rating. Expect the other room size of the other rooms to be embellished as well and plan accordingly. The Studio Suite was very large and nice, with a sofa, and lounge chair. Very spacious. the wifi was crappy because the wifi routers were too far away, so I ran an ethernet line to the hallway outside.(I had to work a 9 hour call center shift in my room over the internet) You are in the middle of a fabric and clothing wholesale market. There's a cool t-shirt store downstairs. There's a KFC a block away. There's a 24 hour massage place at the hotel across the street if you need some relaxation and entertainment. There's ramen and dry food in the room(extra charge) if you can not find food in the middle of the night. I read from the other reviews that this place is not girl friendly, so be prepared to bribe, argue, or book 2 rooms if you are going to bring a vietnamese national into your room. Room Tip: Spend a few dollars more and get the Studio Suite, it's about 33 square meters and is huge.

I wanted a Hotel near to the Airport as a Transit Hotel. This was about 5-10 minutes away in a Taxi (make sure you use MaLinh Taxis -the Best - most of the others will charge excessive money!!). The Airport staff were extremely helpful and spoke good english. The room was not what I was expecting. It was far more superior! - This is a very nice hotel. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the water pressure for the shower was poor (4th floor), but thats about it!. The breakfast had all the usual asian type foods, but there was also omlettes, cornflakes, yoghurts, fruit for the westerners. The hotel has a Casino attached to it, but only for foreigners with correct passports. I did not enter so cannot comment on it. The hotel provided me with a complementary limosioune back to the airport free of charge, which I was not expecting. On the whole, this is a very good hotel, Ideal for transit stops, and I would definatly stay there again.

Night Security man immediately helped with heavy luggage up steps outside hotel 2am. Young man at reception unfriendly. Gave me keycard refusing to help. Not shown to room. Had to guess where to go. Following evening awakened 11.30pm with 2 men trying to enter my room. Door catcher stopped them from opening door fully. The actual latch lock was faulty not entering the correct position on door frame. On complaining later told 2 drunk men had forced night reception to unlock door to my room. I accepted mistakes made and will go back if room has secure lock. The hotel is very clean and day Manager very helpful. Only short walk to airport if fit to do so. Personally a bit dizzy on arrival as was hot-had to transport a heavy backpack plus suitcase. Best hotel in area though. Handy for walking to the park. Very friendly families there so ended up a good experience. Check all locks.

A decent place to rest when taking early morning flight from SGN. Doorman crossed the road to help carry baggages when grab/taxi stopped on the opposite site of the road. Communication was little because Vietnamese tend to be shy but I can feel the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. Room is clean and towels are put in vacuum storage bags, which is a standout for a 3 star hotel. Location is great, morning grab at 520am to SGN airport costed only 1.1 usd. Was upgraded to the deluxe room with SGN airport view as a treat for my 3rd stay here. One minus point is Wifi strength at room 202 is moderate. Shall come back.

The modern Saigon hotel 2 is located on bavi street that good area for entertainment things and very near from tan son nhat international airport of Ho chi Minh city.The hotel belong to Korean so everything is Korean style event breakfast.there are many things that not ready to use.there have computer in the room but can not connect to Internet and Korean language.Bathroom not so clean ,no shampoo and shower gel in there.something mistake for online booking with Agoda .want to get twin bed for two persons but twin bed room allow only one person,so have to book double bed for two persons only.

I have been to this hotel many times on no-window rooms. First time to get Street view room which is around more expensive. Worth my stay even just for 7 hours layover. The booking have a free airport pickup. Due to new year holiday, they were not able to pick me up at the airport. Luckily, I have a local Sim card and called hotel. The crazy taxi drive wants to charge me 150K vnd. The hotel small guy just paid the driver 50K vnd.

* complimentary airport pickup and transportation to the airport: when you arrive in the night time, this is very helpful service. we did not even contact the hotel separately but just put remark with our flight details when we booked through agoda.com. then we saw a hotel staff holding a sign wih our names on at the gate as soon as we went out from the airport. * hotel location: it is located in the city, and there are lots of small and big restaurants near the hotel. you can imagine a typical city town. there were some food strolls in the night time although we had no chance to try, but the street looked quite safe to walk around, too. * room beyond our expectation. spacious, clean bath room with bath tub and separate shower booth. shower gown, safety box, everything you need was there. we even received some complimentary cookies and fruits. also free wifi at the room. i will definately stay there when i visit next time. a perfect for a night stay near the airport. * breakfast a variaty of selection including pho, toast, fresh fruit, and some dimsum dimsum was not tasty) but quality is not very high-end. still value for the money we paid. it was not very convenient to cross the street to enter a separate building for breakfast. looked like the hotel has two buildings across the street, an old one and a new one. we stayed at the new wing so we had to cross the street to have breakfast. it will be nice to have a food bridge connecting the two buidlings. *hotel staffs found the door man spoke much better english than the receptionhist. it was hard to talk with the receptionist, but i could feel that he was doing the best. all hotel staffs were very kind and hard working. *very reasonable hotel spa was totally surprised to see the price of hotel massage. we had massage at the airport before we checked in, but we should have done it at the hotel. try the spa at the hotel, it was very cheap. only 10$ per hour or seomthing, if my memory is correct

Very satisfactory ! Room price is definitely valued for money. Breakfast is not as great as 5 star but you have varieties of local and western. Very near to airport, just take you 10 minute. Though it is some distance to city center, but transport is easily accessible. If you take taxi it might cost you about USD6 (VND 120,000) to downtown district 1, but if you take bus,just VND 5,000. The hotel is very new, should maintain it properly to attract travellers. I will definitely come back to stay here.

We stayed at Golden View as it is convenient for Saigon airport. We arrived late so took a taxi but the next day we walked to the terminal in 10 minutes. The hotel is very close to the airport but is in a quiet back street. There are very good cafes and restaurants nearby which was good as breakfast was not included. The easiest and cheapest way to the city is to take the public 150 bus which runs every 16 minutes right into central HCMC Although we arrived late the staff were very welcoming and check in was swift. Highly recommended as a budget airport hotel.

I booked this as t very close to the airport. The room was nothing fancy but was clean. En suite bathroom with toothbrush toothpaste etc. . No windows but was only there for one night so didn't matter. The lady at reception was very helpful and friendly. If you need something to eat there is a place that serves pho just across the street. Exactly what I needed my first night arriving in Vietnam to be

it was a friend who had traveled to ho chi minh city before that introduced me to vuong quang hotel. at that time, i was usually staying at 4- or 5-stars hotels in district 1. i tried booking online through agoda and found the price very, very reasonable though i booked the deluxe or executive type rooms. it is very convenient being near to the airport. there is a local restaurant just next door that serves great and reasonable priced food. the seafood is great and fresh! the waiting staff is mostly friendly but speak only vietnamese. so be prepared to venture and even if you picked something different to what you have in mind, it will still come out pretty decent and you may be surprised even!

Stay to rest before flight. Everything ok but staff don’t speak english very well, so dont depend on them to book a cab for u. I requested for a wake up call and a cab at 5am only to find myself still in bed at 5:15. Staff was sleeping downstairs and no taxi was waiting for me. Ordered a garb and got it in seconds tho, so no problem there. Maybe not their fault they don’t understand.
