We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! The York Hotel was about 5 mins walk to Orchard Road and 10 mins to the Orchard MRT station. Somerset MRT station was about the same distance in the opposite direction. The room was very large, including a sitting room and a walk in wardrobe. The showers were hot with good water pressure. If the taxi driver has trouble finding it, tell them it is next to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Internet was much cheaper at Lucky Plaza (on Orchard Road) where bought us 1 hour, instead of the 15 mins at the hotel.

Grand Central scores exceptionally well on location. It's within walking distance for both Dhoby Ghaut & Somerset MRT stations. That also means is very close to all the malls on Orchard road. The Uber/Grab drivers also know the hotel and have no problems locating it. The rooms are pretty good and modern. The in-room water filter was a very very good feature - we didn't have to bother about buying drinking water throughout out Singapore trip. The swimming pool was also nice with a separate one for kids. We really loved our stay at Grand Central - highly recommended.

A renovated hotel. Love the big room. Bath tub wasn't so clean when we were there and after cleaned up we didn't get big towels. We love the perfect location with walking distance to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station (big station which connect many MRT lines and made the MRT cost low) passing by the beautiful palace main gate, and walking distance to Somerset shopping area (where Somerset station located) Overall, we love and definitely will stay here again next time

my boyfriend and i have been to singapore a number of times already, but it was our first time to stay at royal plaza on scotts. it was a pleasant surprise since we didn't expect it to be that near all the shopping and restaurants. we stayed at another hotel (along orchard as well) during our last trip, but it was quite a walk from all the good malls, though it was also near dhoby ghaut mrt station. royal plaza is just a few mins walk from the orchard mrt station. it's near ion orchard, which is probably one of the best shopping malls in singapore. it's also near a cinema place called shaw theaters. we were able to watch a movie on a whim because we arrived a bit early for check-in and we didn't know what else to do. there's also a 24h starbucks and mcdonald's beside the hotel--perfect if you want a break from all the asian cuisine singapore has to offer. we would definitely stay here again.

This is a stylish and historic five star hotel near the heart of Singapore, the Orchard road. The Orchard MRT station is within 5 ~ 7 minutes walk, and there are many shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, and everything you might need around you. So, the location is very good. We stayed at the Parklane split-level studio. It's in a different building, and looks a bit more dated than the main hotel block. But it provides very spacious room - enough for 4 people or even more, it you're willing to pay for the extra bed. The split level studio is well equipped with kitchen and even washing machine, which is very helpful in the hot and humid weather of Singapore. The bathroom is also very clean and spacious. Some weaknesses are there, too. The building and the room itself are a bit dated. It needs renovation, but still, it is very well equipped, and it doesn't look cheesy. The room doesn't have a good view, either. We're on level 4, but I think other rooms will be the same. So, don't expect too much about its view. The staff are very nice and helpful. I'd give five stars to them. The pools are nice, too. Don't forget to bring swimwear with you. You won't be disappointed. Overall, it was very satisfactory, and I'd love to stay there again if I travel to Singapore with my family in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

The service was great, the staff is more than keen yo help you. The hotel as well is beautiful. We stayed at the executive studio and even that we found it exclusively luxurious. The location is the best part. The hotel has linked bridge yo the paragon mall, than just a few metres from the mall you can access the orchard mrt station. The hotel provide you with a handphone which is so handy and you can bring it anywhere, just making sure to return back before checking out.

The staff actually rang our doorbell and ask whether we are satisfied with our room and asked whether we have any other assistance needed which is very good. The smoking room does not have balcony or anything which makes the room smells like smoke in fact, the whole lobby has the smell. People who's allergic should never live in that "building". It is really really near to the MRT station, restaurant and also the Far East Shopping Centre! :)

We stayed for a week and found this to be a great location in the Orchard precinct. Close to all the shops, with Orchard MRT station a short walk from the hotel. An abundance of food choices at excellent prices. So many food halls nearby. Pool and gym facilities are great. But the best thing is to use the hotel as a staging point to visit all the attractions of Singapore. There is a full supermarket and an Irish pub in the basement of Claymore Connect which can be accessed without leaving the building. (Great when raining. ) Clarke Quay is a short drive down the road. All up this was a high quality place to stay at an excellent price.

we liked our stay at the this hotel. if you don't mind a 15-20min walk to orchard road where good shops and restaurants are, as well as the closest mrt station, you'll find this hotel more than satisfying for its price. we didn't mind the long walk, we expected long walks anyway since we wanna look around. but you can always get a cab or take the bus from the bus stop across the street. comfortable and clean beds, hot/cold water, complimentary internet. i had good night sleep every night. plus the concierge are very friendly and helpful in giving directions and suggestions. note that there are no nearby shops/restaurants though, you have to walk a few blocks.

Location is good, walking distance to Orchard Road and MRT station. Free washing and dryer machine are available. Breakfast in Shangri-la hotel. The breakfast have many choice and delicious. The room is big and comfort. But the decoration and facilities are too old. It's time for renovation, e.g. Electricity supply from the socket is not stable, the temperature of shower water keep going down, steam room is not working, no daily replenishment of shampoo and shower gel etc.

It's located just behind Orchard Road and within less than 10 minutes walking distance to Somerset or Dhoby Ghaut MRT. It's an old hotel, so the room was actually quite spacious if a little worn. The staffs were also very nice. The en suite bathroom and toilet was clean. There was no facilities like gym or swimming pool, but that was not an issue because we were here to travel around not lounging by the pool. Overall, definitely one of the better value for money hotel in Singapore.

Stayed with the Holiday Inn Express Orchard Road for 5 days (21-25 August 2014)during my recent Singapore vacation. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk (or less) to Somerset MRT station. The hotel is quite new. The room we stayed in was not so big and there is very limited TV channel options (who watches TV anyway while on vacation) so its no biggie. Water pressure is strong and the internet was fast. Breakfast could improve though. Its basically the same option everyday. But the food was good enough to kick start your day. Staff are uber friendly and accommodating. Great service. Fast check-in and check-out (we were allowed to check-in early) :) The soft and firm pillows options made me sleep rather comfortably during my stay.

our stay with marriot hotel was very nice & pleasant. great location at the corner of orchard & scotts road and right besides famous shopping malls at orchard. hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. i expected no less from marriot and i wasn't disappointed. there's no problem in looking for restaurants, fastfood chains, electronic shops and even money changer. the hotel was also beside an mrt station, so going around singapore through subway was easy.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Very convenient location. We had a Club Room so got access to the Executive Lounge. Staff were very helpful in here. The kids couldn't go in between 6-8pm but we could get light refreshments in the lobby which was no problem. 7-11 is downstairs and across a small road. The hotel is located between two MRT stations, Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut. Both easy to get to but a tad closer to Somerset. But more lines run through Dhoby Ghaut. So many food options around the hotel. Pool was good too after sightseeing all day.

We had a lovely four night stay. The service as always was first class. Breakfast at the line restaurant is a family favourite. Also a nice pool area for the kids, this is not always the case for inner city hotels. This hotel is not near the shopping malls or mrt station. It is maybe a ten minute walk down to Orchard road. The hotel does provide a shuttle to one of the bigger shopping malls, but we only found this out the day we left.

This hotel place on main area of Singapore at orchard road. Room are clean, staff are helpfully.. Near the MRT station of orchard and you have to follow to ion park link to arrive to this hotel. Very nice stay and We will back to this hotel next time when we are going to singapore. We got good personality service from officer, he is name is Marchenko from Ukraine. He give us early check in for benefit, because this is our first time going to Singapore and give Us member as hilton of the world from hilton singapore. In loby you can get free wifi service. Very recommended Hotel.

Everything at The St Regis Singapore is perfect! It was a good breezy walk to the hotel from the Orchard MRT. It started off with wonderful receptionist (chinese male, wear specs) who gave us free upgrade to a twin room at a higher level! =) Not only that, there was complimentary fruit platter and birthday cake for all of us! =) The beds are comfortable and the TV has many channels. And there is a pillow menu. Their body pillow is amazingly comfortable! :) Please get them! But limited numbers. Only issue is their DVD library isn't that complete and the popular animation ones are usually snapped up fast. So either bring your own, or chope them quick. Wilbur, our personal butler, was all smiles when introducing the room stuffs to us. 6pm everyday, there is an art tour. The senior butler Prasad is quite interesting and very unassuming. His knowledge is good and he is very nice to help us take pictures. We had dinner at Brasserie Les Saveurs, taking their Semi-buffet dinner. Their Prime Rib is MAGNIFICENT! And if you are not a fan of medium rare, they can recook abit more for you as well. Wonderful service! Their semi buffet spread is really good!!!!!! Just try it urself! Breakfast spread is one of the best I have ever seen. And they have a special order menu for lobster omelette. Don't leave it out! Of course with their wonderful service, they extended checkout time to 2pm for us. All in all, nothing to complain, a MUST STAY!

My kids and I love this hotel. The staff were courteous, assisting us in all our needs from check in to check out. The rooms were clean and I love the complimentary toiletries  L’Occitane  The complimentary internet provided extra convenience as well - from communicating with my husband back home to surfing the net for Singapore maps, MRT routes and bus stops – all without the extra cost! We loved the welcome snacks they prepared inside our room! Gingerbread cookies, bucket of popcorn, strawberry milk and sparkling juices! My kids were delighted! They were so surprised when we arrived at our room after a long day of sightseeing. Orchard Road was walking distance as well. For some it was a 5-minute walk but with three kids in tow, it felt like a 10-15 minute walk! But it was sure well worth the adventure so my kids didn’t mind at all. We took the MRT stationed at ION – which was supposedly the nearest station. For emergency stuff, Tanglin Mall/Place was just beside the hotel. They had a grocery and pharmacy. The shops there were more of specialty shop though – I thought they were kind of pricey and not much to see and buy. So many good memories. My kids and I will definitely stay in this hotel when we visit Singapore again. The way my kids are raving about the place, I guess it won’t be long…

Lloyd's Inn is definitely a perfect getaway for couples looking to spend some time with their loved ones in a quiet and peaceful environment. The hotel is predominantly coloured in black and white, giving us the classic and chic feel and at the same time, coupled with patches of greenery which makes us feel close to nature. It also had a small dipping pool that complement the overall aesthetic of the hotel. It is strategically located between Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations, both approximately 10 minutes walk from Lloyd's Inn, which houses well-known shopping places like 313 Somerset and Plaza Singapura and also, many restaurants and cafes for both locals and tourists, ranging from normal coffeeshop to high end delicacies. My girlfriend and I were given a complimentary upgrade to The Patio room, and were taken aback by their generosity. The room was much larger than expected and even had an outdoor bathroom (don't worry, it's covered from outside view). The bed was neither too soft nor too hard, and provided us with a good night sleep. We were initially concerned about insects mentioned in some reviews, but didn't faced any during our stay. As for breakfast, we were given complimentary tickets and chose Killiney Kopitiam (Kaya/French Toast with Soft-Boiled Egg and Coffee/Tea) over Freshly Baked (American Breakfast with $7 top-up). All in all, we love how detailed the room was designed and it really made us, as Singaporeans, feel that we are overseas! A shoutout to all their staffs for making our 3rd year anniversary a memorable and unforgettable one. Will definitely visit again!

Very friendly and welcoming staff team, every single person greeted us at all times even when we ran across them in the parking lot. We were shown around the property when we arrived and got to see all facilities. Breakfast was nice, always refilled with fresh fruit, toast etc. Free coffee 24 hours from machine in lobby. Nice gym area, open 24 hours. very nice pool area with plenty of shade and free pool towels. We booked a one room apartment which was very sufficient for one week, but had of course some minor limitations, such as only one comfy chair for 2 people (plus two kitchen chairs). No electrical outlet in the bathroom, so you must blowdry your hair in livingroom with no mirror. very convenient to have our own washing machine in the bathroom. a foldable hanging rack for clothes would have been perfect to have. upon arrival, basic set of groceries is provided, very convenient. plenty of supermarkets nearby, lookout for cold storage or fairprice shops. fresh drinking water provided daily and additionally upon request by reception. no housekeeping on weekends, but we were told we could ask for fresh towels from reception those days too. Residence location is off Orchard Rd on a side street, you can cross through to Scotts Plaza Hotel lobby via carpark. Orchard MRT station must be reached via underpass through 2 malls, which can be a bit tiring at times. would come again, mostly for friendly staff and great pool area.

Location is good, 5 mins from the nearest MRT station (Stevens), and the nearest bus stop is just outside the hotel. However, it would be very useful if the Met YMCA would provide their guests a bus stop list where they can find the buses that would pass by the Met YMCA. All other factors are excellent! Spacious room (for 3 adults and 1 kid), Daily supply of drinking water PLUS a hot/cold water fountain just outside our room, Daily breakfast is OK, Our room is cleaned everyday, Fast WIFI in our room, and Staff are accommodating and friendly. Will definitely stay here again!! :)

Best place to check in, few steps away at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station and Bus Stations. Just across the park mall building beside Fort Canning Lodge, there is a short cut going to establishments, bus station and dhoby ghaut mrt station. Agoda, kindly include this info on your site or app that Fort Canning Lodge has a Free Wifi in every room, I thought there was no wifi. Very convenient.. To all pinoys out there this is value for money. From Changi Airport Terminal 2 to the Hotel I rode a Chrysler Taxi, I paid $35.. Just want to experience that kind of taxi ☺️. The hotel is very near from orchard MRT station, it only takes 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the station. If you wanna take, the bus station is just in front of the hotel. So you can go everywhere easily. There are many restaurants, shops along the street near the hotel. One of the best things from this hotel is their services. They even provided us an early check-in because we arrived there at 9 in the morning. So, beside getting a warmth welcome, we also had a great lunch at black angus restaurant inside the hotel. Just Fantastic !
