"It takes about 2 minutes from Dogo Onsen! I stayed Single room and there were toilet and TV in the room. It was really comfortable and I enjoyed watching Japanese TV programme during my staying. However the room wasn't clean enough. Whatever I recommend you to stay here because the price is reasonable and the location is really good!"

"Located in a neighbourhood of non-descript Japanese buildings, the interior and room we had were in neat Japanese design and clean but unusually spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, most speak little but enough English, morning breakfast was well proportioned and good. The onsen was clean and beautifully layout with quality amenities. It takes a tram ride from Matsuyama Station to the famous oldest Dogo Onsen bus and tram terminal and a short 3 minutes to this hotel. A bus from this same terminal will take you to the ferry port if you wish to go by the inland sea islands to Hiroshima. We had a one day trip (had visited Matsuyama on previous occasions), made so much more enjoyable by the stay at this hotel KC"

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful, let's get that out of the way. Although, only on the inside. Outside it looks like a concrete box. The staff were super friendly, showing me all the way into my room and explaining what everything was. She even went back to get me a bigger yukata. Amazing. The bath is beautiful, and feels great. Several baths to choose from, including an outdoor bath (well, not truly outdoors, but close enough). One odd thing is that you don't need to bring towels from your room - they are provided in the changing rooms. This is good, because it means fresh towels no matter how often you go on one day (it's completely acceptable to go more than once per day). The room, a Japanese style room in my case, was beautiful and spacious. Nothing super fancy as far as Japanese rooms go, but with a sitting area and a genereous hallway with bathroom and toilet, certainly bigger and better than any other cheap tatami-room."

"Although Patio may seem a little away from Dogo Onsen Station, it's actually not a disadvantage in my opinion. It's just behind Dogo Onsen Main Building, making it the perfect hotel if you want to visit Dogo Onsen Main Building multiple times during your stay. Within just 100 meters, there are several stores that offer delicious savory snacks and desserts like Jakoten (fish cake), cake roll, mochi, as well as a tavern. The room is not large but sufficient for travelers with luggage. If you want to stay a little away from the station and get closer to Onsen, this is your perfect choice."
