Find hotels in Downtown MRT Station

i booked a club room for a 3 night stay. arrived at the airport, and free transfer to the hotel via their own shuttle bus was very smooth and easy (same on return). check in: directed to "vip check in room" - which was an absolute shambles. not especially attractive, crowded, forced to queue like in a cheap supermarket cafe line, then confusion about my booking (mainly related to the check-in guy's poor ability with english). it was all hopeless, and detracted from an otherwise nice stay. compared to how other top hotels handle their "vip" or club guests, this one rated a 1 out of 10. room was great. big room, huge bathroom, stunning sea view. it even had a narrow full-length balcony. all facilities in room, very clean and very comfortable, as one would expect. tv also used for exploring hotel facilities etc etc - including account review. the tv part worked well, the other functions were often hard to access, very slow, or just didn't work. rooftop pool (57th floor) has to be seen and experienced to be believed. it gets very crowded during the day. other areas on roof (club lounge, park, restaurants, viewing platform), all very nicely done. stunning views of city or ocean absolutely everywhere. the food in the club lounge was superb. had breakfast, afternoon tea and then 'cocktails' (i drank champagne for the two hours!) and the range of food and drink, outstanding. service, from the wonderful staff, was absolutely outstanding. i found the staff throughout the hotel (apart from check in), all superb. they even had an uncanny ability to remember one's name. beyond all this, there is the shopping centre, the bayside attractions, the tree park at the back, the mrt station under the hotel......it really is a total "destination". i think the planners and designers have probably achieved what they set out to do - build a complete destination from which, for a short stay like mine, you never really need to leave, because there is so much to

Marina Mandarin one of best hotel in Singapore. It's 5 star hotel with great services for customer which stayed at the hotel. The places had great location, because it was near to esplanade theater, merlion landmark, singapore flyer and marina bay sands (walking approx 30 minute). If we want to travel by using MRT, there was an esplanade MRT station next to the hotel and city hall interchange MRT Station (15 minutes walk). The only bad news for the hotel was : - accidentally we found "2 cockroach" at our bathroom as we entered. Anyway we will stay again at this hotel if we want to visit Singapore again.

The Fullerton is an amazing building from the outside and we were not disappointed when we walked into the lobby. Throughout our stay, the service was excellent and any minor problems were solved instantly and very efficiently. The pool offers great view of Boat Quay and is good for swimming or simply getting a tan. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was near both Boat Quay and Clarke Quay and the nearest MRT station is only a few meters away. The breakfast was very good with a big selection on offer and fresh juice brought to your table; the outside sitting was also a plus as it overlooks the river. Definitely a great hotel to stay in. I would recommend it but would suggest to book a room that doesn't have a courtyard view if you miss the natural light.

we checked in during christmas time, it's on our honeymoon trip. i discovered that i mistakenly typed the number of guests one instead of two during online booking via agoda. the staff said i needed to pay extra fee for my husband even though the room can accomodate two persons. i was upset a lot, but later on the hotel service has won our hearts. we found a bottle of complimentary wine plus a pair of teddy bear dressed up in groom and bride outfit inside our room. how lovely! on the christmas eve night, the staff knocks on the door and wish us a merry christmas with wonderful fruit cake. down the lobby, there is also a special event gathering the singaport university students to sing christmas carol's song. very impressive and classic. the hotel location is very convenient with two mins walk to mrt station and suntec city.

Our sty at the Ritz was memorable and fitting for the occasion. I brought my girl on my business trip because she turns 7 on my departure day. Thus, decided to book a good hotel to celebrate her 7th. Likewise, my best friend with me on my trip was also celebrating her birthday a week after. Thus It was a double celebration. I informed the hotel and they happily upgraded us to a suite room. Despite some confusion in our reservations (long story) we got our rooms with terrific view of the river and all the attractions there is in front of us. Much more, the weekend was a preparatory event & drills for the up and coming national day thus we had a great show in front of us without going anywhere. My daughter totally enjoyed the spectacular view and show of the drama, jets and sky divers, fireworks & light shows, etc while enjoying dinner from room service. The hotel also gave her a birthday cake and a card on the house. Though the hotel is grand and beautiful, with superb staff, including the door man... !!!.... food was not great. Thats the only downside. I hope they improve on it. The hotel is connected to the Millennia walk and Marina Square, all are shopping complexes with everything you need. From there it connects to other parts nearby and also the MRT station. It is a huge complex of hotels and malls linked together with an underground mtr that makes it so convenient. From the front, taxi is easily available, the singapore flyer is just a 5 mins walk away. Marina bay sands is just across 10 mins by foot. In general, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location, great staff, great service, beautiful and large rooms with a nice river view if you book the rooms on the Marina bay view side. Security is excellent as well. Room keys are necessary to be able to make the lifts work. Talk about luxurious stay in Singapore, the Fullerton Bay Hotel offers quality service and standard that every guest can expect from a well-deserved 5-star rated hotel. From the moment we arrived at the entrance, the staff were ready to greet and help us. We arrived 4 hours earlier than the normal check in time. We waited just for a while. The reception staff made every effort to check if we can already be accommodated in one of the rooms available. Every detail of the room was perfect. You can really see and feel luxury. A baby crib was arranged for my one year old son. Location-wise, Fullerton Bay offers convenience. You can walk to traditional landmarks of Singapore like Merlion and Esplanade Theatres and even to Marina Bay Shopping Mall. The Raffles MRT station is just across. If there's one thing the hotel could do better, I say it should be about the food. Somehow the taste and variety of food served are a little bit behind the quality of food at the old Fullerton Hotel and in all the five star hotels in Singapore's neighboring countries like Thailand and the Philippines. Overall, our stay was extremely great! Special thanks to Paolo of the reception desk, to the staff of the Clifford Pier Restaurant and to the many hotel staff who are Filipinos, for the wonderful hospitality.

for a large chain hotel in singapore, the service is excellent. very friendly welcome, quick check in, very helpful service one agents. the complimentary internet access is a huge plus; we took maximum advantage of it in planning our trip around the city. it's really close to the promenade mrt station (around 3 minutes walk), which is also the nearest mrt station to the singapore flyer and marina bay sands. housekeeping was the biggest disappointment as they barely cleaned up the room. dropped an email to the hotel about this and they responded positively within a couple of days. it's nice to know that your feedback is taken seriously.
