The nicest moderate priced 4 star accommodation I have stayed in Bangkok so far.  Recently renovated, the hotel feels very modern and luxurious for it’s price range.  The deluxe room had nothing to see outside the window but the room itself was clean, modern, and very stylish.  The bed was very comfortable. The pool area is impressive with some well designed water features, it drew a large crowd everyday.  Gym is pretty standard. Location was good – less than a 10 min walk to Nana BTS station with lots of restaurants in the surrounding soi.  The quality of the renovation itself feels like a higher standard than most of the competition, though it may just be due to the fact it was very recently completed.  Definitely will be back, my favorite of the 5 hotels I have tried when factoring in distance to BTS, room cleanliness and quality, surrounding amenities, and hotel facilities.

I personally felt that this was a nice little touch that ensured that our booking had been received. Check-in was extremely fast and effortless and although we arrived prior to the standard check-in time, there was a room ready for us to place our luggage and get rested. Spacious would be an understatement - the room was extremely large and perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. The room is well laid out, the bed was big and extremely comfortable, 1 large sofa that was perfect for our 10 year old, a work area with LAN connection, and even a kitchenette and large refrigerator! The additional kid's amenities pack was a well-received and delightful surprise for our girls too - as well as the office supplies (scissors and stapler) in the drawers. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to visit the fitness center, but the Thann Sanctuary on the 7th Floor provides a great and shaded walkway that is ideal for getting some exercise and the massive pool was a refreshing experience for kids and adults. Breakfast was great throughout our 3 nights stay - never an issue with insufficient seating or food, ingredients and cutlery were clean and fresh, and the variety was just right. The establishment is connected to Emporium department center, further connected to Phromphong BTS station, and further connected to EmQuartier department store - which would be ideal for people looking to travel around to other areas of Bangkok, looking to do some shopping, or interested in fun edutainment activity centers for children. :) I do have 1 note to make that during our stay, it seemed that the shower / tub

The steam room, sauna was nice to use. Locker rooms were available, but lacks any toiletries in the changing room, such as hair brush, deodorant, lotion, slippers, etc. So, bring your own, or do it in your room. Most of all, the staff was extremely friendly, specifically their Social Media coordinator or Manager. I had accidentally left/forgot my silver ring in the lobby bathroom and they found it and kept it for me to pick up. We chatted over Facebook messenger. Extremely prompt response and attentive. Very helpful!! So, thank you for that. Japanese toilets of course, always a plus. Overall, a positive experience.

Its a luxury of its kind. I enjoyed there service so much. Cant express in words. The best is I enjoyed working for my business purpose with wifi upto 3 MBs per sec to 10 Mbs per sec. Thats the best and fastest i ever found out in any hotel all over the world. Best is there internet service is too good and stable. I never found a single problem in last 5 days. There restaurant is awesome. I ate almost heavy breakfast. There jacuzzi is too good. There entertainment room is amazing. The swimming pool is awesome. gym too good. And outdoor table tennis awesome. Overall there staff are very polite and always greeting you as you walk down the ally. They are so helpful. Every time i come back in Thailand this is the place i will love to stay ever again in my life. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers of all kind. To be honest, you don't even need to travel to Healthland which is just behind the hotel. Not to forget, a beer garden is right next door! Have recommended this hotels to my friends and will personally stay here on my next visit to Bangkok :)

One is never hard pressed to find something to eat for cheap or pricier options, as well as shopping or other activities. Highly recommended for small traveling groups who want to enjoy their stay in Bangkok in style and comfort, and don’t mind paying a little more than a hostel but less than a 5 star hotel.

On the North side of Sukhumvit Road just about midway between Asok Montri Rd and Sukhumvit Soi 23 is a small driveway entrance that I mistook for an alley many times strolling by on the sidewalk when I first stayed in the area. Luckily, a great price offering on Agoda brought my attention to this 5 star gem back then and I have stayed here several times since. Their sign is actually on the side of the building on the East side of the driveway and can be easily missed when driving by in a taxi on the street. Know your location and watch for it when coming for the first time. Staff here is very professional and will treat you very well. Accommodations are impeccable. Each floor is small with only a handful of rooms on each which means there are no long hallways. If you have a chance to get the Sky Room upgrade give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed. In room amenities are nice including robes and slippers, large safe, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. Most rooms I've stayed in had closet door that doubles as bathroom door which is a bit inconvenient as you can't get to closet with bathroom open and vice versa. The upper floor pool, dinning room, and club are very nice so don't forget to check them out while your there. The club offers some great views and great food to entertain your guests. Even though it's in the middle of a very busy area conveniently next to Asoke BTS station, it is not a busy hotel and you will find your stay here very relaxing.

He made our trip to the Safari and DreamWorld memorable. His charges were very reasonable and we recommend him to anyone willing to explore Bangkok. The hotel location too is very good since its only 5 mins walk to the BTS station.

I was surprised that the hotel is located closed to night market and BTS station. The hotel is relatively quiet despite it's location in the city centre. The hotel also has a small shopping arcade complete with several tailor shops, souvenior, pharmacy and convenience stores. The hotel is also located close to Terminal 21 Shopping Complex where many international and local cuisines are available in 4th and 5th levels of the shopping complex. Due to the on-going political demonstration in Bangkok, the hotel room rate has come down substantially to well below my booking rate. That's a small regret for booking the room too early.

I stopped here for 10 days and was very happy with everything., a great location just a short stroll to the end of the street and straight onto Nana BTS station and from there you are connected quickly to all the attractions of BKK. We loved our stay at this hotel! We arrived late morning but our room wasn't ready so we went out for the day arriving back in the late afternoon to find our room had been upgraded to a a one-bedroom suite and breakfast thrown in for free. All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and spoke good English. The buffet breakfast was good - mostly Asian choices (Thai and Japanese) with a few Western options like fried eggs, potato hash, croissants etc. Location is excellent - less than five minutes walk to the BTS station Phrom Prong although parents with strollers should be aware there is no escalator or lift from street level at this station which means carrying kids and strollers up stairs!! Very close to Emporium shopping centre which has great dining options. There's also a little Thai place with a sign "Good & Cheap Thai Food" that does excellent food for only 40B a plate just at the end of Soi 26 on Sukhimvit Rd. The room itself was fantastic. Our room was a one-bedroom suite and had a living area with flat screen TV (free movies channels & cartoon network), dining table for two, kitchenette with fridge & microwave and a sitting area. The bedroom was great. Very comfy bed which sometimes you don't get in Thailand, lovely bathroom with separate shower and bath and nice hot water. The wifi in the hotel is the best we've come across in Thailand - fast and reliable. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel enough!!!!

It was our third time staying at Viva Garden. When we arrived, the bell boy, Patrick greeted us with a big smile. Patrick remembered us from our last visit. That's impressive! We have had a bit of problem with the room, Chelcee (the assistant front desk manager) helped us switch immediately. It was the first time we met Chelcee. She swiftly solved the problem and we were grateful. Another bell boy, Naphat we ran into the next day also remembered us by name. It's surely not something easy to be trained. The friendly style of the hotel definitely one of the biggest reasons we chose to stay again. Apart from that, the hotel has a nice swimming pool. You can pick a time without many people. Sometimes you can own the pool too! The balcony the hotel is another highlight where we spent our evening time a lot. The hotel is located near the BTS Station, Bang Chak. It's not very close to the center of the town. However, it suited us well as we are not big shoppers. Opposite side of the street is a local market. One can buy food or eat with local, very cheap. A big supermarket, Tesco is located one BTS Station from Bang Chak which is also very convenient. We walked there and took BTS back after shopping. Food court is also available at Tesco. We are looking forward to our next stay there.

There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the vicinity, in addition to at least three or four spas. Foot massage places are all over the place. Usually we stay in Sukhumvit but we preferred Thonglor because it seemed somewhat safer and cleaner while remaining a short cab ride away from Sukhumvit. The location of this hotel is what got us hooked EXCEPT if you want to catch the BTS subway system frequently. It is maybe a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel to the Thonglor BTS station. Now, back to the hotel. The hotel had a nice kitchen, washer/dryer, sink, etc. If we were going to stay there for a long period of time, this hotel could definitely serve as a "long trip" destination. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a big bath tub and a separate shower. The bedroom was also clean and comfortable and had a lounge chair w/ a TV. The living room had a balcony and TV as well. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again without question.

my first stay at the royal benja in bangkok, probably my seventh or eighth visit to bangkok. of the hotels i've stayed at, i'd pick royal benja over all of them (except perhaps the j.w. marriott, but that hotel is in a radically different price range). it is conveniently located, about 2 blocks off sukhumvit rd, and about 3-4 blocks from the nana bts station so get...my first stay at the royal benja in bangkok, probably my seventh or eighth visit to bangkok. of the hotels i've stayed at, i'd pick royal benja over all of them (except perhaps the j.w. marriott, but that hotel is in a radically different price range). it is conveniently located, about 2 blocks off sukhumvit rd, and about 3-4 blocks from the nana bts station so getting anywhere in bangkok is a breeze. it was also perfect for me since i booked a physical at bumrungrad international hospital, about 2 blocks away. a lot of bangkok hotels have tub/showers with tiny instantaneous water heaters. royal benja has both a tub and a separate walk in shower with great water pressure and as much hot water as you can take. after a 26 hour flight (counting layovers), it was great! my only disappointment was the included breakfast. i guess i have been spoiled by the montien in pattaya. the royal benja breakfast was fine, included the usual odd assortment of eggs, pancakes, and tossed green salad, just not expansive like some others. still i got plenty to eat.

So, only have small window to soak up any rays in Bkk. Staff is quite accommodating and friendly. If hotel can be booked at discounted price, might consider staying at Galleria 12 again.

Booked Dream for two nights and by far the best stay in Thailand that me and my wife had. We reached Bangkok early in the morning and took our time to get through VOA at the airport but still reached the hotel at 11:00. I have come across hotels where i have had to wait for a good 2 hours in such scenarios with me being sure that there were rooms available in hotel. The lovely staff not only got us checked in earlier but also guided us about places we can visit without pitching in for taking any tours. The rooms are clean and well maintained and very comfortable. Room service is great. Its hardly 5 mins from the BTS station Asok and you can very well walk the street for some good street shopping. The best breakfast buffet that we had, my wife being a vegeterian too had very good options to eat. No to forget that even after being so close to the shopping streets the rooms are very peaceful and a sound sleep guarantted. Over and above it was a great stay and will be back to the hotel at my next trip for sure.

We decided to take the express rail link from the airport to the city. We were surprised to realise though, that the trains only run hourly and the train station in the city does not connect to the BTS sky train system. When we arrived at Makassan station in the city we still needed to take a taxi to Sukhumvit. Which we did and it only took 20 minutes. The hotel is in a great location and very easy to find. The hotel is on Sukhumvit Road which runs directly below the BTS line. There are 2 BTS stations within a 10 minute walk from the hotel, Nana in one direction and Asok in the other. There is a supermarket about 6 mins walk and a park/pubs/restaurants/coffee shops all within 10 mins walk away. The hotel is clean and modern, the staff are friendly and speak good English. The room is really big and modern. The bed is huge and really comfortable. We were only there for one night so the duplex, mini apartment concept was a little wasted on us. It's a nice design though and great to have a full size fridge, iPod dock, 2 TV's and 2 toilets. The breakfast area was well stocked and had a good choice of foods. Unfortunately, the staff were really inattentive. We seated ourselves, we had to ask for coffee, we had to ask for a knife to cut the bread, the egg chef was preoccupied. Not a big problem but a little frustrating. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay, we got to see and do a lot whilst we were in Bangkok due to the convenience and great location of our hotel. We would recommend to our friends.

Pomodoro (just across Sukumvit and 1.5 blocks toward the Nana BTS station) is an Italian spot that is highly recommended to try in this area. The Majestic Grand is a very nice spot, the rooms are near 5 star caliber, and I find them to be every bit as nice as the more expensive hotels in the area. You will get a big fluffy duvet covered comforter on a soft bed with lots of pillows in any class of room, a marble and hardwood decor and a full marble bath with glass enclosed shower. A comfortable and large desk is in each room for those who can't leave work behind. The staff is very friendly, and helpful with anything you might need. If you are looking for a near-5-star hotel that has all the amenities and can still maintain a friendly atmosphere, then you will certainly be happy here.

Well, it may be difficult to be objective because I was blessed with an upgrade to a Junior Suite.  I try my best! Speaking of breakfast there's a good selection of food,  strangely less Thai choices than western. But it's nicely presented, in copious amounts and tasty.  The staff in the breakfast room are efficient and unobtrusive. The Junior Suite?  Massive. Huge living area with very big TV, fully equipped kitchen which even has a front load washing machine, big bedroom with another TV and desk chair and big wardrobe and a great sized bathroom with full bath.  The housekeeping staff are very Good, the room was spotless although if you really look hard there were a few things (soap holder, tiling) which needed fixing. And the carpet in the corridor outside the rooms could do with a good clean.  But the problems were minor. Oh, the bed is king-sized and magnificent. The location is Great,  too, just a short walk gets you to either Asok or Nana BTS stations. Rarely am I this impressed by a hotel.

The staff here were incredible. The best part of the stay was definitely the breakfast, so good! The location had very easy access to the BTS station, only a 10 minute walk. I do wish Agoda made it more obvious that airport transfer doesn't mean pickup and dropoff to the airport - in this case it just meant that they had a shuttle going back and forth from the hotel to...The staff here were incredible. I would totally stay here again - rooftop pool was very nice as well!

New built hotel in Ekkamai Area, it locates walking distance from BTS Station, nearby Shopping Center, Seven Eleven and Beacon Place. You can enjoy variouse kinds of restaurants and bars in Beacon Place, such as, Japanese, Italian, standing bar or Oyster Bar. Facilities of this hotel is quite new, nice design and enough clean. Went bangkok few weeks ago with friends, stayed over at S Sukhumvit suites for 4 nights. Place is bit hard to find as i believe it's quite a new hotel. But it's fairly easy to spot if you are travelling along main road and right beside Asoke BTS station. Hotel smell new moment we stepped into the lobby, was greeted by friendly staffs and shown to our room. Hotel smell new moment we stepped into the lobby, was greeted by friendly staffs and shown to our room. Room itself is value for money, love the number of international channels on the LCD tv. It was the first time i come across rain shower bath in hotel toilet. Very accessible to major tourist spot by taking BTS. I will surely choose to stay in S Sukhumvit hotel next time i go bangkok.
