The room also has a sofa as well as a curvy sort of lounge chair that was also nice to laze and read a book on. The toilet was spacious - my friend and I loved the lighted sink area and the double mirrors (in fact, lots of mirrors all over the room!). The shower and bathtub layout is rather unique - there's a shower space with a sliding glass door on one side, and the bath tub is connected to it so you can climb into the tub after a quick shower (rain shower, btw). The famous Skybar at Traders was a nice place to relax at - do book the cabana seats early if you can - they're very popular because they offer a spectacular view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline and the twin towers. Great drinks, too. Our room package did not come with breakfast (we like to sample local breakfasts anyway) but we tried their buffet breakfast one morning as we'd heard good things about it. The spread is pretty good in both terms of quality and quantity - made-to-order omelettes were just okay, but the waffles and pancakes (also made-to-order) were pretty delicious. The spread has both Western and Eastern style breakfast foods so one can have the best of both worlds. Finally, the staff were friendly - we were greeted everywhere and service was provided with a smile. Not sure if this was the case for every room, but we were given an additional 2 bottles of water every day - think the cleaning staff noticed I'd finished both bottles of the complimentary water. All in all a great hotel I'd recommend if you have the budget.

Our Stay at Concorde specially mentioning "Premier rooms" was really awesome! it's always nice to start a holiday with a complimentary upgrade, especially when you have already booked a pretty swish room. we had initially booked an horizon club executive room at the shangri la in kl and were upgraded to an horizon club executive suite located on the 15th floor. pity we only had 1 night here. check in - we could have picked a worse time of day...it's always nice to start a holiday with a complimentary upgrade, especially when you have already booked a pretty swish room. we had initially booked an horizon club executive room at the shangri la in kl and were upgraded to an horizon club executive suite located on the 15th floor. pity we only had 1 night here. check in - we could have picked a worse time of day to check in, 1:30 peak hour, as soon as the check in staff identified that we had booked horizon club we were taken immediately to the club and checked in without delay. the room - it's a massive suite with a well equipped study and a toilet and basin close by, a lounge room, a bedroom and a huge bathroom and shower area bigger than some hotel rooms i've stayed in. most asian hotels offer free wifi and the shangri-la was no different. the connection speed was good. the study was spacious and had a desk and lamp and there was also a nespresso coffee machine. the lounge had a 2 seater sofa, 2 chairs, coffee table and a huge flat screen tv and windows that wrapped around providing views of the city and hills beyond. the bed was very comfortable not to hard and easy to sleep on and there was a large tv also found in the bedroom. i did enjoy the electronic day and night curtains that opened and closed at the press of a button. the bathroom as mentioned earlier was massive and was equipped with l'occataine products. my wife found the complimentary hairband most useful. the shower was very large and you had the option of a standard shower or a rain shower. there was also a tv in the bathroom, which i'm not sure is necessary. the facilities - unfortunately i didn't find the time to visit the pool area or the gym. the executive club - up there with some of the best i been in. very spacious, the standard 2 hours free cocktails and canapés. overall a great place to stay and would most definitely consider staying again next time i'm in kl.

Very impressed with the Pacific Regency. We stayed here for two weeks in November and will be going back next year. We had an executive room which was large and very clean. I would say its a good 4 star, not really a 5 star like the Meridien or Intercontinental. The rooms are a big plus point here compared to any other hotel I have stayed in. The restaurant Soi 23 was excellent, we had the best Thai food in KL at Soi 23. It was also very reasonably priced and the service was very good.The hotel security was very reassuring, two guards at the front door was good to see.The hotel is a quiet street and its about 15 minutes walk to get anywhere, not to much of a problem as a Taxi was about £2 to £3 to get into the centre of town. the Monorail is about 15 minutes walk at least. The hotel do not provide a shuttle bus into town which I think they should.Taxis are easy to get from the front of the hotel, didnt have any problems. Its 150 RM to get to the airport. Hotel is highly recommended. There is a on site launderette which came in handy.About £4 for a wash and dry for a large load.

More like 3 star to me. For this price, It prompted me to look for another alternative. Finally, I found Lanson Place Ambassador Row with a price tag that agoda had offer. I booked a 1 bedroom apt. Good and cleaned room. Customer service excellent and most importantly with easy access to their Internet service within their hotel areas. Room signals are good as well. Whatever is it, this Apartment is definitely a extreme value for money and u will not regret staying especially when family with young kids is concern. Altough no restaurant to serve breakfast, but who cares abt breakfast since food is easily available in nearby areas.

This can help if agoda issues receipt/email stating details of room type apart of price only currently. This happened before on my stay in another hotel in Penang where booking was made through agoda. 2-3 staffs were not well versed about the hotel facilities and food menus. Capacity turnout for breakfast causes panic in the staff and we were told to wait at the lobby until they call when table is available but were made to wait indeed without any sign of attention where much later guests keep getting the place instead of us.

The sky bar offers free coffee / tea with cookies every night between 9 and 11 PM. The rooms are big and spacious. We asked for a room high up (got one at level 16) with King-Size Bed and a view of PETRONAS Towers. We got everything we asked for. Yes, if you look closely you can see that the hotel is a bit old, but it was still very clean and nothing was broken in our room. They do not yet have flat screen TV:s, which nowadays feel a bit strange, but they do have a fast internet connection. The location is good. There is a 5 minute walk to the nearest Monorailstation and/or to PETRONAS Towers and the KLCC subway station. The Suria KLCC shopping center at PETRONAS Towers is the best we have visited (and we visited a lot!) offering both very expensive brands and more "normal-priced" brands such as GAP, Esprit, Nike etc. The KLCC park behind the towers is absolutely beautiful. Once you are at the PETRONAS Towers, you can also take the airconditioned skybridge from the Convention Center which takes you all the way down to Bukit Bintang, where there are more shopping centers and a lot of restaurants. All-in-all it is a 25 minute walk from the Maya hotel.

Less than a minute away is a pedestrian bridge that connects you to the pavilion mall (2 mins)and klcc (10-15 mins). We didn't get to try the restaurants or room service because the pavillion has a wide range of restaurants and a huge food court. I've stayed at various hotels in kl before but find the Novotel to be one The best in terms of location. The room was also much better compared to the overpriced Dorsett hotel. The only drawback was the wifi in the room was only for one.

The Royale Chulan really exceeded our expectations,although we knew partly what to expect. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.Whatever you asked they were always doing there best to help you.We even got few more extra hours to spend in our room (free) before our long journey back to Finland. The situation of Royale Chulan is nice if you like shopping,the large Pavilion is very near and also the famous Suria (and Petronas) is just about 10 minute walk through the park from the hotel. If you like to go to somewhere else there are always taxis in front of the hotel that will take you exactly where you want. In all we really enjoyed our stay in Royale Chulan.

It is new, the room is spacious, bed is comfortable, stay at level 51 with amazing view despite not facing KLCC. The room has direct USB charging plus USB plugging from mobile to Smart TV. Another great point is that there is 3M filter system which it is safe for drinking from the 3M labeled tap. This is better than the usual 2 free bottles of mineral water. Iron, ironing board and bedroom slippers are available too. The bathroom is very spacious, great for big-sized travellers. It uses both rain shower and shower head. I love the toiletries which are organic, good for travellers with sensitive skin I guess. I cannot find any hair dryer though. Make use of the infinity pool at level 39, it is awesome. When we swim backwards, we can see ourselves from the ceiling mirror. We take pictures and it is so instagrammable! Check-in is at level 40. It is abit challenging to identify the exterior of the hotel as it is a full black tinted glass tall building. It is about 10 to 15-min walk to KLCC and other shopping malls. It is near to some embassies too. Security is 24 hours at level 1. My husband and I enjoy our stay so much that we would rather sleep in than to get ourselves out to do some shopping but well, we need to get out to get food. There are other available services which we have no chance to experience. Eg free rental of bicycle, yoga class in the sky, sky dining, beer promotion etc. The design and layout of the lift lobby to room corridors are uniquely and consistently designed as well. One thing is that we can hear other guests closing theirs door, it is loud. I believe it is due to the door for being heavy. I truly urge all travellers to book Elements when you visit

At first this hotel was chosen in the internet because of its amazing outdoor pool with a magnificent view on the famous twin towers - Petronas. When we arrived there late in the evening the staff at the reception was very welcoming. The room wasn’t very luxurious and a bit old but nice and cozy enough, also with a view on the Petronas towers which is very beautiful at night. We had some problems with the AC and toilet but both were fixed in a short time. The buffet breakfast offered quite a variety of tasty food and fruits and delicious cakes, and we enjoyed nice and peaceful relaxing atmosphere of the place. We were very pleased with the work of concierge Aoran. He did more than just a perfect work. Every request was fulfilled in the best way, and everything arranged in a timely manner with no delays. The location of the hotel also was very convenient. It took us only about 5-10 min walk to the Petronas towers. And several big shopping malls are also within a walking distance. There is a Monorail station just across the road from the hotel! Which is veeeery convenient when you go shopping in those malls and need to get back with a lot of shopping bags, the tickets for Monorail are really cheap. It’s also a fast and cheap way to get to the other places of KL and to watch the city around through the windows. We used it to get to the Birds Park (which is up to the last station, and then took a taxi from there to the park itself). The hotel also has Mandala Spa located in there, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to try it. But I know it’s very famous so next time I’m sure to stay at this very hotel and use the Spa packages.

It was a last minute decision to book the hotel and found the location very convenient with LRT right outside and you can literally walk 10 minutes to KLCC. The breakfast was not that wide a spread but they had all the essential brekkie stuffs. Restaurant Manager Mohd Robae waited for us to finish our breakfast before personally attending to us to apologised about the incident. Although I said it was ok he was really concerned. This gesture was followed by a plate of fruits and a personal card from him again apologising about that incident. This is the BEST service I have received and am greatly impressed with the gestures by Mohd Robae. 10 stars. Hotel room was big, big comfy bed very comfortable and business served. Will definitely come again. Especially for the location... out of the city but nearly.

Kids and children are welcome but best not to waste such a romantic setting and atmosphere with hyper active kids around. Best for loved up couples who wish to get away from the city but with the convenience of staying within reach.

Had to go to make a Non B visa at the Thai embassy and was alone and nervous but the staff at the hotel was very helpful and polite. The location is the best for those of us who need to go to the embassy! Business center was convenient too. Really appreciate the support of the night staff who assisted me even though I arrived in the middle of the night!. The hotel/rooms were very clean and had character with high ceilings and great details. The bathroom (with an enclosed shower) was one of the best we had during our stay in Malaysia. The staff were efficient and straightforward about the amenities (no wifi in the rooms). The location is great with easy 1 minute access to the monorail and the neighborhood was upscale...The hotel/rooms were very clean and had character with high ceilings and great details. It's our first time staying here. The moment we reached the hotel, we were impressed with the building, it has small mall at the lower levels with KFC, ATM and shops available. However, the car park was at the 5th floor and the ride up was dizzying but became normal once you get used to it. The entrance to the hotel was also confusing and need improvement on direction ...It's our first time staying here. The entrance to the hotel was also confusing and need improvement on direction signage. The staff was friendly and nice. The hotel room was clean and tidy although small. The window cannot be locked and there is almost no gap between the bed and the window, please note that although the window opening was limited with a restrainer, the gap was quite big and posing danger to children. I hope this will be fixed immediately. The bathroom and toilet hardware need to be fixed as I found them loose and falling apart for example the soap bar holder and water hose holder. Other than that, the bathroom and toilet was nice. The best parts IMO were the swimming pool and playground my kids loved it.

I used to stay at different types of hotel whenever I traveled to KL. But since I discover this place, I stick to this hotel when I have to stay overnight in KL. Not only it is strategically located, but it is a quiet place, a nice place to rest after a whole day work or conference. When I feel like going for a window shopping, I can just take a short cab ride to a lot...I used to stay at different types of hotel whenever I traveled to KL. First time in KL, and this seemed a good compromise on location, cost, and size. The chalet was spacious, had cooking facilities, and was a pleasant place to spend time. The staff were polite, though not as good as Flamingo by the sea. I guess that's the difference between big city and beach hotel. Food is good, room service prompt. Housekeeping efficient, though a little early during national holidays. Location is about an hours walk from the main city center, though taxis and public transport will get you there quicker. There are many decent restaurants close by, plus a small shopping mall. The highway nearby does not create a noisy atmosphere around the hotel. The hotel restaurants at the hotel are good, if a little limited in choice. The is a lot of security around the hotel, for those that feel this is a need, and it is conspicuous. They seem to have control of who enters, giving a feeling of safety. A manager came around and asked my opinion of things, and any minor complaints were dealt with quickly and pleasantly.

our fifth visit in the past couple of years and the only item that keeps getting worse each time is the reception. from a warm "welcome back" and a drink, it is now at the level of three-star package tourism. that said, everything else at the hotel was fine and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. indeed we already booked the next stay there also. among the advantages...our fifth visit in the past couple of years and the only item that keeps getting worse each time is the reception. from a warm "welcome back" and a drink, it is now at the level of three-star package tourism. that said, everything else at the hotel was fine and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. indeed we already booked the next stay there also. among the advantages of the hotel is that it's connected to the star gallery with it's many designer and signature shops and exclusive eateries through an air-conditioned link-way. further, the smaller size gives the hotel an ambience of privacy and the staff are amongst the best in the country. we are in kl frequently, tried many hotels, and have now used the ritz for two years running and will continue doing so unless the service at the reception gets even worse.
