"Stayed in Bello for two nights with my family. Booked a suite room and a duplex room. All staffs ie from bell boy, security guards to receptionists are very helpful and guests were given a five star hotel treatment even though the hotel is two/three stars rated. Communication has no problem. Their spoken English are excellent compare to other low rated hotels. Location is opposite few coffee shops with nice food. Hotel is peaceful and quiet at night. Transportation very convenient. Walking distance to JB Sentral and shopping mall. The only problem is, there is no parking bay at the hotel itself. We were asked to park our car at an open parking area near a police station with 24 hours security. Overall, we are giving Bello Hotel 5 stars. Keep it up !"

"Location-not my first time in this location as it is near the CIQ to Singapore but without car park. Therefore only suitable for flight travellers via SIN or JHB airports or bus. Those who drive from other parts of Malaysia, sorry no parking. Eats-just around the corner is Meldrum Walk, if you do not fancy hawker food, City Square Mall is just nearby where you can get higher end food. BEWARE-there are some vice activities and prostitutes may be hanging out outside the hotel, but as long as you avoid them it should be ok. Staff-There was one elderly Indian man-Senior staff? Very courteous and professional as a hotel staff. Facilities-very good, booked the room with window and it was big and spacious for one person. Facilities-TV Channel. Fox Movies...Wowww, this is one reason that I wish I could stay longer and more in my room. The availability of movies means you have your own private cinema from the bed. Quite hard for a business traveller like me to leave the room though xD"

"Best price you can get right in the middle of Johor Bahru City Center, ease of walking distance to the CIQ if you plan to travel to Singapore while nearby shopping center allows easy access to food and retail purchasing. One thing if you travel by car to this place, you need to pay parking per day/entry (RM6) via TnG card, but the hostel offers top-up value service. Accommodation wise they have clean comfy beds and every bed has a charging station and grooming mirror. Their common area is well equipped for both heavy or light cooking and storing your food. Shared baths have shower heaters feature and hair dryer. Longer term travelers have a lot of value gained for this price. Depending on which part of the building your bedroom located, mine L2B2 is located near to a noisy bar premise, so it is a little distracting when I am trying to sleep. It would have been solved with a sound-proof window. Staff are very friendly in guiding me around the place to familiarize with the area. "

"firstly, i had actually booked and paid for the wrong date due to my carelessness. but however, when i contacted the hotel staff, they were very polite and helped me through to book the next day. however, if you do not know their national language which is malay, you might have some communication problem. my wife and i, came out from the customs and we actually were happy to know that we took about 7 minutes to walk to the hotel. the hotel is not a very tall one, and is among some normal shops and easy to miss, but when we stepped in, we were glad that it looked modern and clean. the front desk greeted us and gave us our room key, and when we went to the rooms, we were surprised that it was really beautiful. their interior decor and paint colours were really vibrant and created a very cosy feeling. beds were comfy and sheets were clean, so were the toilets. i had this feeling that cirus hotel is either new or went through a recent upgrade as everything looks new. their paintings on the room walls were very creative. however, please note that the view outside is not that fantastic. breakfast was pretty good. a buffet variety of a continental breakfast and their local delights. and the awesome part is that it starts at 6.30am. good for people like me who had to check out earlier!"

"Pros: We booked the 1 bedroom deluxe room. It was big and has the necessary amenities and the king bed was super comfortable! Toilet was huge and beautifully designed and clean. Room temperature control was excellent. Parking was a breeze. The staff was all smiles and greetings, you can feel the sincerity in their greetings. The swimming pool was good as the have a small pool for my kids as well. Nice to have a night swim looking over the jb city lights. The gym was ample and welcoming. There is a pay as you wash/dry your laundry room beside the gym where you can play playstation while waiting for your laundry. Breakfast quality was up to standard, for me i like a western breakfast so the spread was excellent and delicious. However, my wife prefers more local cuisines as we have tried other hotels which serves similar dishes but with more local choices. Cons: No 24hr room service YET. Certain tv channels aren't available. This is maybe on of our top 3 JB hotels. Hope the price stays!"
