This was my 2nd visit to Malaysia but with a child under 18 months old,I wanted a resort type hotel with everything nearby. I got upgraded to suite due to a problem with my booking which was not my fault and the reservations manager was excellent.This is a great place for bringing kids because everything is within the complex. Having a shopping centre next to the hotel was a bonus my wife loved it. The swimming pool was great and the views were out of this world. I am so happy I did not book a hotel in KL as i wanted a relaxing holiday and not really bothered about sight seeing. I will be coming back to this hotel in the future. The staff went over and beyond whenever i required anything. It's a 5 star hotel but prices are UK 3 star and that's the main selling point for me. This hotel was great. Malaysia is a muslim country so would recommend bringing a couple of bottles from duty free as beer and spirit prices are London hotel prices at the hotel. The shopping centre has all UK and American main food outlets like Nandos,Pizza Hut.Don't bother buying electical goods as cheaper in UK but designer glasses are cheap as well as t-shirts .

This hotel is great starting for the price. The beach is awesome!! The pools are really good and big, specially the one with the bar!!! The squared swimming pool was a bit small and given that it was a holiday weekend, it can get packed. Decent sized room equipped with the usual hotel room amenities. Managed to get a cheaper ticket for Sunway Lagoon from a Singapore travel agency and just upgraded the tickets for an express pass there. Given that it was a holiday season, express pass was so worth it! Managed to save time queuing on major rides, where normal ticket holders spent at least 1.5hrs of waiting. We were there before 10am and they are already allowing patrons to come in even before 10am maybe due to the holiday season. We tried non-water rides on the 1st half of the day, had lunch and tried the water rides on the other half. You can rent lockers and you can have unlimited access to it. Purposely bought aqua shoes so we don't have to walk around barefooted, but unfortunately it is not allowed on any water rides, so must take note! Gmax there was of course way cheaper than that of Singapore's but of the same thrill and happy to try it. You need to take note of the show timings if you want to catch it for your little ones. Meet and greet was scheduled twice a day so if missed the morning timing, you can still catch them in the afternoon. Parking is free. Enter using your TNG card and request for the parking cuopon at the reception to use for exit.

I was staying at standard Dorsett room but this smoking smell from the corridor is unacceptable. It has this classic hotel feelings which I can not find anywhere in kuala lumpur anymore (There are some in Penang still but not in KL). I would seriously recommend some form of renovation on this damages caused by smokers or perhaps take a bit of a money from smokers as these people will ruin everything but pay nothing more. At this location, it is hard to find other hotel with reasonable price while still providing you basic hotel service like room cleaning, toiletries, security, unless you want to consider hotel located at shop house outside sunway pyramid. There is kitchen with fridge and microwave that you could prepare food for babies. There are also cutleries and plates provided. The room also comes with dining table where you can dine in the room with kids. It is quite big room with just SGD90/night booking with Agoda. Although the room furniture and bathroom facilities look old, they are well maintained. I am not fussy person that I was quite satisfied with what I have paid for.

So I was generally in a great mood & treated well the whole weekend. This is a huge, older property (a friend of mine & I had a meal there, and she says she used to visit there when she was a child!). But it is of the 'grand old dame' variety, and I had a nice stay. I booked the Corporate Executive Suite, and the pictures here on Agoda simply don't do it justice. The bedroom was nooked, there was a desk area & a living room setup. Separate dining nook off of the kitchen, and a separate shower & comfy long bath. As for the kitchen, though, it was a bit weird? It was all counter space & cabinets - but no cooking implements, crockery/flatware, etc. Further, the kitchen sink didn't work, and water had to either be poured from the provided bottles or taken from the bathroom sink??? THAT was weird, and if I was planning on another weekend, I would insist they dress it out to the best of the offerings, like Somerset, MiCasa, etc. do. Excellent gym (with sauna & steamroom in the dressing room) and multiple pools. The property borders a small lake so the views are pleasant, particularly at sunrise & sunset. Breakfast was quite good, and there was a wonderful 3-piece Pinoy band in one of the lounges (there was a latin event on my first night). Executive library & business centre as well. Finally, if your kids (or you?) play Pokemon Go and/or Ingress, there are something like 10 access points exclusive to the hotel property. That doesn't seem fair . . . but it is fun/useful. :D I don't really have occasion to be in that particular area, but if I did? I'd pick it again.

I book for 3rooms.My room was connected to my Children room.Can say my stay overall in this resorts was a memoriable one and first class superb value for money.I recommend others to try you will find it worth and satisfaction up to your taste.

Strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking for both comfort and affordability. The WiFi is perfect. Just amazing how I do not need to keep switching networks as I go through the floors. The bellboy was willing to carry my 6 bags up with no tips needed. However, I was not given a sign to remind the housekeeping to not clean my room during my stay. They did clean my room once and refreshed the towels without minding my mess, however. The room itself is cold,.cozy and comfortable. The cupboard is neat with fancy hangars. The beds are clean and pillows worth snugging. The toilet's water pressure is strong and there is shower options. There are toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and shampoo provided along with bottled water. The hotel does offer spare key cards for RM20 deposit. The only drawback is parking. The hotel is located in such a way that parking is virtually impossible let alone expensive. Park near the nearby compound by the water fountain installation over the weekends for a flat rate of RM3. It is about 5min walking distance anyway. Another drawback is the key card may not respond well when inserted, but just fidget around and it will work anyway.

I felt not secure as there was no proper register counter and reception area. I received email stated I can inform my arrival on due date and there will be receiption awaiting me. I went to hotel counter that was unable to check my booking ref no. Till I shown the booking confirmation email then revised it was not under Hotel management. There is no direct lift service from G floor. Each time has to take one stair case up (lift service to B1) that will be inconvenient if need to carry heavy luggage up one stare case. Or any wheelchair traveler will have problem. Only one tel no to contact .

It being really brand new (opening in August 2017), everything felt really clean and organised. Although my first thought of getting a room without a window was negative, the aircon works really well and you don't feel bad being inside. The bathroom was spacious and amenities provided. For a considerably low rate, the room was pretty decent. A bit small but cleanliness was definitely evident. Surprisingly, 33 Boutique exceeded our expectation. For a considerably low rate, the room was pretty decent. A bit small but cleanliness was definitely evident. Staff was nice, we arrived midnight and the front desk officer made sure our check in process was smooth so we could rest up immediately. The following morning, one of the managers sent us an extra pillow (free of charge) upon learning that there were three of us. We didn't even have to ask for it. Upon check out, they were even nice enough to chat with us and where we came from. Also another plus factor was how conveniently located it is from the mall. We were able to do some last minute shopping before leaving. Also we had a great time grabbing late night authentic malaysian food from a nearby restaurant called Shaaz. Amazing times. We would definitely book here again.

Toilet is a frosted glass - there’s isn’t a lot privacy if you’re traveling with children. Downside of this place is that they are located above a pub, as I am a light sleeper, I could hear the music beating during my stay - I couldn’t sleep until 2 - 3am or either I will wake up at 1am. Since I couldn’t sleep, I read my book until I feel tired/sleepy - they had a light torch attached to the wall which I can conveniently switch it on without disturbing my Husband and son sleeping. Food are a easy to find, they are everywhere - there’s a restaurant located downstairs the hotel and we conveniently went down to had dinner and breakfast - I feel that they are a bit expensive but their food are delicious. We then walk a bit to try another place at (if I could recall, it’s called) Curry House (if I’m not wrong) - there, we had our breakfast on our last day of stay. My most enjoyed meal was the Halal Chinese-Muslim dim sum called Muhd Chan, located the opposite back of from the hotel, near Guardian - wroth the money and my son loves it! Great staffs, but would like to specially thank Jimmy for making our stay comfortable and easy - he’s very helpful in every way and friendly too!

The stay at this hotel was very satisfying. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is also clean. There are no breakfast package but that is not a problem because there are plenty of food outets nearby the hotel. The walkway is also well lit, making it safe to walk back to hotel at night. The only downside is that the heater of our room is not quite working. So my girlfriend had to take a shower with cold water in the morning. But overall, this hotel is worth for its price.

The hotel is located quite a distance to Sunway Pyramid Mall. However, a walking distance is good enough during the daytime. My room was upgraded from Standard Double Room No Window View to Standard Double Room with Window facing the road. The view is good but is hot during daytime as the aircond. And there is only two power point.
