Hotels near Gaisano Mall of Davao

My stay in Apo View Hotel located at the city center of Davao was a great pleasure for me. I have made the right decision to chosed this hotel inspite the room rate but it's worth it. Safety measures has been practiced from the time i arrived in the hotel till i left. Hotel staff were all smiling, accomodating, never you gonna feel that you are stranger on that place. Hospitality is the best selling point of the hotel coming from the natives of Davao's. All parts of the hotel were cleaned and properly arranged especially the room itself. And given a chance that i'll be back in Davao, i don't have the second thought of cosing Apo View Hotel again.....Thank you much guyz...job well done....

The pool was so small that our 6 year old kid showed no interest in using it. The rules on use of refrigerator a bit too strict (if they find drinks in it that are not theirs they will charge you for it). AS with ALL other hotels in Davao, there is absolutely No Smoking allowed anywhere. The free WiFi was fast enough for YouTube and our kid's Minecraft online gaming. Cable TV selection is good. As with most of Davao, most restaurants close by 11pm but a 5 minute taxi ride away is the Damosa Strip where some bars/restos are open till 1am. The breakfast buffet is enough to satisfy you but its nowhere near the buffet of Davao Marco Polo. No complaints regarding bed, toilet, air-conditioning, overall comfort and satisfaction.

Our stay here was pretty good. The staff were very welcoming, although some of them weren't that switched on. I find the day staff to be much more engaging than the night ones. The breakfast was OK, however, it wasn't that hot. I suppose you'd need to be there at 6am to ensure the food is still relatively hot. As for the location, the hotel in situated on a very accessible road, and is close to one of Davao's main malls, Gaisano Mall (G Mall). You can walk, get a cab, or if you're willing to pay, get dropped off by the Hotel's transport services. There are also plenty of food places around the area. We didn't utilise their room service, as you can get food delivered from numerous eateries (macca's, Jollibee, Burger King, etc...). Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would come back here again, but stay in a more expensive room for the experience. We stayed in a Superior Twin Room. Twas spacious and had a nice ambience. :)

Very good value for money especially for the size, room has no windows though. Location is very good for tourism, close to People's Park and Pasalubong Center (you can leisurely walk to and from these spots). It is also close to the terminal station going to Philippine Eagle Center and Malagos Resort. Area is 1.2km from Lachi's restaurant, so you can easily walk for lunch. The Room is very good for tourism purposes within Davao City, however if you're looking for a business trip you might want to look at Apo View and Marco Polo for more ameneties. If you're looking to add a Samal day tour, the port is rather far from the hotel so you either have to do an overnight stay in Samal or wake up very early. The hotel also offers to keep your valuables safe even after checkout so you can tour the city, if you have an evening flight, without having to carry around your belongings (Very useful if you're planning to maximize your stay in Davao)

Stayed for 2 nights with a friend. It was close to People's park and gaisano mall, and just a few block's away from Aldevinco Shopping Center. I love the fact that we can walk to these places even at night. Breakfast was okay. Friendly staff and guard and there's a multicab route that passes close to the hotel (panacan-ilustre). You can also walk a few blocks to get access to the other public transpo routes. All in all, good value for money.

When we arrived here, from the welcoming security to the customer service staff in the reception/lobby area, we felt that our stay in Davao will be a good one. All staff are courteous and really helpful. The buffet breakfast is really good, value for your money. The location of the hotel is very much accessible from all the tourist attractions of Davao City. I just hope they will improve the wireless connection as there are times that the wifi speed is quite slow but overall it is ok. I will recommend this to my family and friends who will spend their vacation in Davao. All hotel staff are well commended. Thank you for making our Davao vacation worth it.

I spent just over 2 weeks at this hotel using the agoda deal to grab a Zen Suite for just $40 per night. This was great value as the room was a good size and the facilities in the room were more than adequate for our needs. The bed was spacious and comfortable enough for us both, even with my larger frame. However the provided blanket is not large enough to cover two people, a second is easily obtained though. The room had an air conditioner which was very useful as it is really warm in Davao. Unusually the Zen Suiite was on the ground floor, and as such there was no window in the room to see anything outside, this is a minor complaint though. The room was kept very clean by the staff and water was provided every second day which was helpful, the in room fridge was also handy to keep these cold. The hotel is in a great location in Davao city and very convenient to get to most points of interest. All malls are simply short cab rides away, these are usually quite inexpensive, with SM being farthest away at just 130PHP. Gaisano mall is a simply walk or motorbike ride away. Food choices are great too as there is a chinese restaurant just around the corner and a burger place just next to that. Both are well priced and the food is of good quality. The hotel also has a cafe next door and they will deliver to your room if you wish. Overall a great reasonably priced hotel that I would happily stay in again

I stay at this hotel with my wife and 1 year old child and my brother-in-law family for 1 week. The place very convenience with major transport just right outside.Its near the People's Park , Gaisano Mall and the night market(all within walking distance).There are many Banks,ATMs outside. The transportation (Jeep,tricycle) are just at the entrance to anywhere. The room need some extra lighting.....other than that i would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are just FANTASTIC.....There is a in-house restaurant and i highly commended the staff at the front desk as well as the room service..-----THEY will serve u hot drinking water (even 2 cup) they will bring them to your room.THATS what i wan as a service where the staff goes that extra miles for you. I SAY AGAIN:::: GREAT HOTEL,GREAT STAFF..GREAT SERVICES.....these will make up for all the short coming that a hotel may have.

Hotel is located at the Central district of Davao city. Peace and order great. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Relatively new hotel with functional air con, fast Wi-Fi, and cable TV; hot and cold water for toilet and bath strong and functional. Our non-smoking room is big and clean. We asked for a ref at admission. Staff assistance Very good. Hotel is located at the corner of two street so access to public transport is not a problem. However for those who are "light sleepers" we suggest asking for a room facing the inner area and not a room facing the street. In general we got value for our money. We would recommend this hotel for our future visit.

Location is Perfect. Right at the heart of davao city. It has 711, which is very convenient if you have to buy some stuff. Malls are walking distance. Or a short taxi/jeepney ride for 5 mins. The hotel has a cafe/resto. Though I havent dined there. 2 Things. The bed is not soft. The water pressure for the shower is ridiculously slow. I removed the shower head just so I could more water.

Because of a last minute booking for an overnight stay, My husband ended up staying at First Pacific Inn Davao. He said that the rooms were small, but just enough to get his work done. The price of the stay was cheap, hence the room quality. But he noted that everything was clean and functional. The internet connection was also very fast. He said that he would surely stay at this Hotel next time for short trips to Davao.

For me it was still a good location, good value for money, clean rooms and helpful staff my only concern was the water, we have hard time taking a bath since the water in the faucet and shower was too little we are in room F30 by the way and it is located in 3rd floor. But over all I still want to stay here again if ever I’ll visit Davao again... Nice art collection too...

During my stay at Linmarr Davao Hotels and Apartelles, it was overall nice experience since the staff their are smiling and friendly. They just have to look into improving some of their facilities like air condition switches and the lights near the bed. But all in all, it was a very nice and comfortable stay. Thanks and more power to the staff and crew of the hotel. God speed.

To start, the cost of my stay was lower than if I walked in. My family enjoyed their rooms as they are really spacious. I had a veranda so it was even better. The AC was perfect for my large room and the huge bed was just what I needed after a tiring trip from CDO. The staff were fantastic. There was warmth and a sense of comfort around them. What I loved the most is having a garden feel while being in the heart of Davao. I hate busy streets so stepping outside of the building to a garden and the restaurant area was just what I needed. I had to meet some people and I ended up holding my meetings at their restaurant because it was just really convenient. As far as the food that I have tasted, they were excellent. I stuck with my veggies so I can only recommend their pinakbet and chopsuey. Unfortunately, we were not informed that the pool was under renovation. I was disappointed about that since I did chose to stay there partly for the pool since we had kids with us. They offered to take us to their other location or partner hotel with a pool but we decided not to go. Also, the shower could use a little fixing. Other than that, everything was pretty awesome. I would definitely come back.

We booked a one-night stay at the Ponce Suites Gallery Hotel but had to move to another hotel at around midnight because an elderly member of our family found the artwork unsettling. That, of course, was by no means the hotel's fault and just goes to show that this hotel is most ideal for those who appreciate all things out of the ordinary. The walls of the corridors are covered floor to ceiling in photographs, paintings and sculptures. Not everyone may appreciate the artwork, but the experience of seeing them and how they turn the entire hotel into an art gallery is in itself engaging. The rooms are spartan but at the price they are offered at with breakfast included in the room rate, it is all beyond reasonable. Front desk staff may seem a tad shy but they immediately attend to guest's needs. The owner's sister responded to our email inquiries and she was a delight to correspond with. She even gave us a free room upgrade. Pizza at the restaurant was served with slices of Davao sausages, a flavor profile as unique as the hotel itself. All things considered, value for money is beyond compare.

We are happy that we choose Blue velvet hotel, you don't need to have a tour guide for city tour you can do that alone.... Don't miss to go to Museo near at city hall and the D'Bone we enjoy and learn the history of Davao, the Hotel is also near in Samal Port. Samal experience is so fun and the beach is beautiful like Boracay white beach I suggest you stay there Friday to Sunday they have party and Fire Dance every Saturday Night.

Zen room is located inside Alu hotel. I checked the prices in Alu hotel and the cheapest room is Php2000 but I only paid Php910 for the room I booked here in Zen room. hehehe Thank you Agoda for the vouchers. It's cheap but the room is very spacious!! My boyfriend and I really loved it because it's clean, has a huge bed and the ambiance is very relaxing. It is right in front of Roxas Night Market so it's the best! The staff are also very kind. Our room was on the 4th floor but they have an elevator :D I would definitely come back here!

the hotel's location is really good. across from it are schools that's why there are so many small eating places nearby. gaisano mall is also a few minutes walk away. rooms were small and it matches a dorm type appearance. we were given the room on the 1st floor so we didn't have to go up the stairs. there's a pharmacy nearby so if you need medicine or something it's quite handy. staff were courteous and always offer a friendly smile. free wifi is available but the connection was quite intermittent on the last few days that we were there. my friends tried the coffee and hot chocolate from the coffee/hot chocolate machine on their lobby are and they said it doesn't taste that good.

It’s in the heart of Davao City. Accessible to most tourist spots in the city. It’s also near Roxas Ave where the Night Market is located near Ateneo de Davao University 3 of us booked a family room for 4 and it was a nice stay. There’s WiFi available and the room is clean, same goes for the bathroom. I’m really picky when it comes to toilets and they have clean toilets and working hot and cold shower. Rooms are well-ventilated and there’s Cable TV available. WiFi tends to be weak at night but if you have mobile data to assist you, it’s all good. There’s also free breakfast during our stay so that helped us worry less on the things we need to have during our stay. Overall, the place is accessible, the people are friendly and the stay is really affordable. Excited to see Davao again.
