After reading numerous negative reviews about Avani I decided go ahead and book anyway due to the unique location and style. I'm REALLY glad I did. The renovations are now complete and the entire resort is stunning. The staff were amazing. I'm a reasonably well seasoned traveler. The service was 5 star all the way. Even the cleaning, maintenance, buggy drivers, etc, would all great you in passing. The buffet there was fantastic. Very well maintained with an astounding variety of food, much of it being prepared as required by chefs manning their particular station on the buffet. The mini bar items were also cheap in context, for eg, 4 cans of soda for under 7 USD (mini bar items must be ordered from the Avani store and will be delivered to your room) The location SEEMS to be quite isolated. It's definitely well out of the way but as I was only staying 1 night I didn't research if there were any close by tourist attractions. The beaches in front of the resort are obviously popular with local tourist and there are numerous things that can be hired such as boats, para sailing, etc, and a really cool ultralight sea plane. They do offer daily free shuttle buses to KL central but I'd expect it would take over an hour to arrive and personally, I think staying in KL central would be more suitable if that's on the itinerary. Avani is the perfect place for a layover in KL or anyone who just wants to relax in style (with the option of some thrill seeker beach activities in between if you like) Checking out was a breeze. Took about 2 minutes in total. And arranging transportation to the airport was equally as easy......book at the counter in the lobby.....3 minutes later a car arrived All in all.........absolutely 10 out of 10

Its been better then older days tune hotel old LCCT ~ Tune KLIA2/LCCT2 is really much better in term of room size, and location. It is about a 10 mins walk from the Arrival Hall. Go straight towards Gateway@klia2 front door on the 2nd floor. then proceed down the escalator on your left of the main entry to mezzanine, the once arrive on the mezzanine, walk straight and turn Right, do not go down to the Bus terminal downstairs, it would lead u to go via the longer route - the road. The mezz have a connecting walkway towards Tune, which reminds me of the older days in LCCT walkway to board the airasia flight. Reaching it u will see the checkin counter. Book first, as the FullyBook sign seem to be a permanent Sign. Book way early get you special rates from Agoda with all the amenities. Check-in kiosk for AirAsia is available here, can print out your bagtag here too. They have a bar that served till 12 am, and breakfast @ 4AM is bookable thru desk. I prefer going into the Gateway mall for there's more choices if you came early.

It was our second time to book in this hotel. It was a good decision because we got the chance to rest while waiting for our next flight. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a hassle. We didn't realize that we would arrive in KLIA1 and the hotel is in KLIA2. Our next flight was at 7AM the next day. So, we had to transfer from KLIA1 to KLIA2. In KLIA2, we had to wait until midnight to be allowed to check in for our next flight (via Air Asia), giving us exactly just six hours to rest. The hotel is inside KLIA2. We're just thankful that when we arrived to check in, everything was a breeze.

We had a 6 hour stopover and it was just what we needed with one very big bed, kettle, tea and coffee, shower and towels. So got on our next flight refreshed. You don't have to do passports or security coming off plane but do go through security to get back on. It's a 5 min walk within the airport and easy to find. However beware cos coming back I accidentally booked sama sama at klia2 which is different. So check which you need. We booked for 2 adults 1 child but no problem taking 3 children in. Bed big enough for all. Cost on booking.com was £43 which was cheaper than when I phoned hotel.

We stayed for 6 hours while waiting for our 6 AM flight to Siem Reap and I was amazed by this capsule concept! The hotel provided for a locker with enough room for check-in luggage plus carry-on. My capsule was very clean and comfy. The hotel uses the best and most relaxing pillows and mattress that I slept like a baby from the time my head touched the pillow up to almost 6 hours later! The common bath/comfort area was also clean and well-maintained. No funky, moldy smell whatsoever. The hotel has a common area/lounge which faces KLIA2's bus/car transport area so the fresh capsule concept is easily seen from outside. It was my first time to check in a capsule hotel like this and I have nothing but praises! :)

I decided to stay, rather than a lengthy layover at KLIA2. It was past midnight when I landed so I look a short taxi ride to the hotel. Room was great, good size and a comfortable bed. I spend the day by the pool and also enjoying an excellent massage. To get back to KLIA2 I decided to take the easy walk to KLIA over the sky bridge (you can get a free buggy ride if you want) and then took the free bus to the airport (you can also take the KL express, which ain’t expensive). The hotel didn’t feel like it was so near to the airport, surrounded by trees, a really nice atmosphere.

Due to the ridiculousness of the Asean line at the immigration counter of KLIA, we missed our flight by mere minutes. Not willing to travel back to KL for the night and grab another Uber to KLIA the next morning, we decided to stay closer for the night. I've book family members here before, as a transit hotel for them to stay the night before travelling to JB by car the next day. So we decided to give it a try. 15-20 minutes drive from KLIA. Check in was a breeze. Booked the biggest room available, the First Class Family room. Had a Queen and 2x single bed. Spacious for the 4 of us. Room was reasonably big. Clean so no fuss there. Have windows which you can open. Big split unit aircon. Hotel has its own restaurant and convenient store which closes around 10pm. Across the hotel there is a Mamak restaurant and convenient store that closes late. You can book transport at the lobby to KLIA, KLIA2 and Mitsui outlet. First come first served basis. Definitely a good transit / miss flight hotel.

Hotel is near the airport, 10mins by car. Room is clean & extremely big. The receptionist is very nice. The shuttle bus’s price is cheaper than grab car. Everything was good, except the way the shuttle bus picked up us at the airport. We was told to meet the driver @KLIA2 level 2 gate 3, but we couldn't identify him. There were many cars there. I supposed to see someone holding a board card with either hotel name or my name on it, and there was, but from other hotels. I transited in KL for 1night only so didn't buy a local sim card. I had to use my owned sim to make an international call to the hotel, then was told that the driver in red t-shirt and his car in white & green. I looked around, about 4cars and 6guys matched her description. I had to walk around and look at each ones. Finally I found him over the street. There is hotel name on it but it’s too small to see over the street. And the driver told me that he had waited for us @gate 1. Awesome!

so we fly from Sibu to Klia2 on the 26th and stay 1nite in Sepang.. i booked Youniq Hotel in Bandar Salak #YouniqHotel they also provide cheap shuttle from hotel-klia2-hotel tips: book their room using #agoda then go to their home website and book ur shuttle van from there.. only rm5.60 per person one way. this hotel is new and so cute! check out some of the photos!

Don't get mistaken by Tune Hotel KLIA2 and Tune Hotel Aeropolis. This hotel located a bit far from KLIA2 but they have shuttle bus services. Too bad you couldn't book the shuttle bus in advance. To get here, you first have to book your shuttle bus at Tune Hotel KLIA2, just the next building near arrival exit (check their website for the map). Go to the lobby receptionist of Tune Hotel KLIA2 and ask for shuttle services to Aeropolis, they have this list of booked passengers (first come first served basis), just write down all of passengers name of the time you selected. (I strongly suggest you to booked for them as soon as you make your arrival, then you can dine or walk around at the airport, becoz a shuttle bus only fit for 13 people). And after arriving at Aeropolis, only then you can booked your shuttle back to KLIA2. The price is the cheapest of them all when you only want to take a good nap or spend a night not in a chair. The good news is bed and linen are awesome, hair dryer, water heater for shower, the water pressure of the shower is one of the best! Please take note that you have to buy the toothpaste and brushes at the check-in counter if you needed one.

First time at this hotel after getting tired of high price of Tune hotel at KLIA2. Hotel is approximately 10-15 minutes ride from airport. Room is big , bed is comfortable, WiFi good and shower is hot . Perfect for staying over ,for flight next day . Airport shuttle is available at a very reasonable 20 MYR, one way . Much cheaper than airport taxi or Grab . Staff are friendly and helpful , and many restaurants nearby for eating options. Great value for money , and will use again .

The room designed and location is near to the beach which is good. The staff - Can be more friendly and provide infor to new guest - Such as the nearest mousque, water ativities, where to have the best/ cheap breakfast, lunch & dinner and event that we could held here. The room -No tv remote, channel was not set accordingly, no satelite channel, no praying mad, no coffee & tea facilities - sachet & spoon, no phone to call up the room service, no hanger in the closet and the pool does not separete male from female (muslim friendly). That all my review, defenitely we will come again. Tq

Took the opportunity during a 10-hour KLIA2 overnight stopover with a young family to get a decent night's sleep. We had to exit and re-enter immigration, but the opportunity for a decent sleep before the 8-hour flight home was too much of a temptation to refuse. Our needs were few, with: close proximity, family room sleeping 5, inexpensive, convenient, breakfast facilities, decent shower and wake-up call, our meagre requirements. Empress Sepang met and exceeded all these requirements. The added bonus was the shuttle bus service to KLIA and KLIA2 that made the return and re-entry all the more easy. The perfect stopover. so nice even i'm booked for last minutes. i asked the receptionist about extra mineral water. the staff hardly tried to find me the mineral water but no other stock. then they so kind to please me that they will send the mineral water to my room. about 15 minutes later, they already send my mineral water. they are very polite and so helpful staff. besides that, i think this hotel not really bad as others reviewed. i think there are just good enough with their facilities eventhough the furnitures looks old. but for me the kind and so helpful staffs make me fall in love with this hotel. actually i'm booked my room without breakfast but i think the price still reasonable with all the facilities .

A clean and affordable hotel close to the airport. It only took us about 7-10 minutes to get to KLIA from Movenpick, which is really convenient. We even had the option to return to the hotel after checking in our luggage for an international flight. Other than that, the food was nice, the swimming pools were big and clean too. The only downside is that the kiddy pool is located in the women’s swim area, none in the men’s area. It’ll be so much better if they they have kiddy pools in both areas. Overall, we had a splendid stay at the Movenpick and we’d definitely stay there again in the future. For KLIA, without a doubt, the best available option at a very reasonable price.

I needed something cheap nearby the airport because I had a flight in late in the evening and needed to head back to the airport early morning to pick up some people. The location is still a bit far from the airport, but one of the closest budget available. Room was perfectly clean and bed very comfortable, but hot water didn't work. Didn't try the wifi. What made my stay so above-par was the helpfulness of the three members of staff I interacted with. I needed to find an RHB bank and they not only helped me locate one but drove me to one at 10PM at night, free of charge. Sam, you really made my day! Thank you for your kindness.

SP Hotel is located about 5kms from the Bagan Lalang beach. The signboard says SP Hotel, but on Agoda its called Sg Pelek Hotel - a little confused whether I was at the correct place. The outsides of the room is a little shabby, however it is very clean inside. Mild dust on the aircond which was otherwise very cool. Shower was dated but acceptable Room on 2nd floor let in sounds from the restaurant opposite but that settled down before midnight. Parking is unguarded around the shoplot. Bed is large and surprisingly comfortable for a budget hotel. Housekeeping staff are so friendly and did a superb job. In summary - it is a very clean room with a great bed for the price. I would recommend SP Hotel highly to a budget traveller down in Sepang for a day or two.

We booked this place due to our next transit flight is in the noon time of the next day. Instead of sleeping over the bench in Starbucks, to get a proper place & stay is more refreshing for travelers like us. The room is big, provided with towel & water heater. We had a good night here, our flight was delayed & we reached the hotel around 2am, worrying the hotel might closed down, the staff was actually waiting for our arrival. Good service, good location, and good price.

I book the hotel after middnight. I call the hote, The receptionist was very helpful. The room is clean. Location near KLIA2 but still require transportation around 20mins. Suitable for people want to have a good sleep before rushing for early flight or have to sleep due to arrive late at the airport. Room clean. Aircond ok. Tv ok. Wifi ok. Water heater ok. Bathroom ok. Space enough for 2 people. Can walk. Value for money
