This hotel never failed me.. I went here over & over when i visitting singapore.. The location is gold, on the centre of singapore shopping area, just in between somerset mrt & orchard mrt (btw somerset is nearer than orchard).. The room is very new for an "aged" hotel, the design is classic & elegant, resembling the 5 stars it has.. The facility is amazing : free unlimited high speed wifi in all rooms & all hotel areas, great linen & sheets, great shower room & bathroom, nice fitness centre (although its quite far from our room, its on main building highest floor in one of the mulfi function room i think).. And the have the best hainan chicken rice in singapore (yes it is) in their chatterbox restaurant.. And the hotel is located on top of 4 storey mall , inside are restaurants, cafes, salons, boutiques, stores, etc.. The one i think need to improve is the breakfast & restaurants & cafe staff, since it a bit need improvement in how to talk to customers, and how to behave like 5-stars staff, not a 3 or 4 stars one.. But overall, once again we always have pleasure when we stayed here, and definitely will comeback again next time we visit singapore

We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! This hotel is in the best location if you want to be near Orchard Road. It was right in the middle of orchard road but slightly further back so its away from the noisy busy streets of orchard road. Right in front of the hotel is a great little side street which is open all day and all night serving fresh seafood, satay skewers, hainan chicken rice and a lot of other yummy things for a cheap price. The hotel was very clean, and our room was perfect. we were on the top floor so the room was very quiet. the hotel lobby staff were amazing also. We had the best stay there and would definately stay again.

For our first stay in Singapore, we decided to book an "affordable" five star hotel . We were not dissapointed at all. The room, a simple deluxe room (2 kingsize beds), is not very spacious, but large enough to accomodate the 3 of us (3 year old daughter sleeping in a sleeping tent). The staff is so helpfull, especialy Alice, the lady from housekeeping (thanks again for the teddybear!!!). Check in and out went very smoothly. The outside renovation works on the building are still in progress, as well as in the rest of the street, access to the hotel doesnt suffer too much... Not to miss is breakfast!!! Quite expensive , but one of the best we ever had. If you decide to take the breakfast during your whole stay, I think there is a discount possible Breakfast is from 06.00 till 10.00, but be prepare to queu for 5 or 10 minutes... One of the great things is the location of this hotel: 100 m from Orchard, THE shopping paradise and very near to the subway (MRT)."

I booked a few rooms for our family members and friends during my wedding night. All of them commented that the rooms were clean and spacious. Interiors were beautiful. Hotel staffs were friendly and attentiveness. They tried their best to accomodate to most of our requests and housekeeping staffs were detailed and hardworking. Buffet Spread in the morning was good and they tasted delicious. Hotel location was centralized in town. It's walking distance to most shopping malls. Overall it was a 5 stars stay in a 5 stars hotel with a 5 stars service. I would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers or locals whom want a staycation.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

Room and facilities were outstanding. Concierge staff were very friendly, helpful, communicative and accommodating. Housekeeping services were average. Only real disappointment was the female receptionist at check-in who was very inattentive, aloof and unwelcoming. We were not even greeted with a simple “hello” or “may I help you?” Furthermore, our room was not ready at 5:00pm when we arrived - even though we booked three weeks in advance and were advised check-in time was 3:00pm. Furthermore, we were not notified when oir room was finally ready - we had to take the initiative to inquire with the same receptionist (who did not appear to be especially busy.) All in all, our impression is that the Ascott Orchard is a great property that could be even greater with reception staff who have actual experience and/or training in the hospitality industry.

I've stayed for 7 nights during my training in Singapore. I've also bring my wife & 1 yo baby during the weekend. My parents also booked separated room. So, below is my review : Location This hotel located right beside Shangrila Hotel. 5 mins walk to the nearest bus station. 15 mins walk to Orchard MRT (every morning, I walk to Marriot hotel on foot for the training, it takes approx 15 mins). Room This is the great point for the hotel. I booked for Deluxe Room and I got a HUGE room (It is difficult to find a huge room like this in Singapore). It about 50 sqm. My baby loved crawling over the carpeted room. I got King Size Bed. They also provided double queen size bed for the twin deluxe room. You also can have microwave in the room (plus point). The bathroom is quite big with bathtub and shower. They also have connected room between king size & double queen room. Breakfast Decent breakfast with limited menu (maybe because I order via Travel Agent, I got different breakfast than others) :( Service The service is very good. At the first, I got dissapointed because they give double queen room instead of king room. It takes about 15 mins to change the card key. But the bell boy was very friendly & cheerful to make me more patient. I also enjoy the hospitality of the room service aunty on the 11th floor. She always smiled in the morning when take my laundry bag. And the most important thing, the recepsionist manager upgraded my parents room from superior to double queen size room. So, we have side by side room. We really grateful. Thank you sir! Overall, I recommended this hotel for your stay in Singapore. For a 3 star hotel, it is very worthy. Actually, this hotel is a language training center. So you can find a lot of students in this hotel. But it is not an annoyance at all.

My second time staying in Novotel. New hotel, near Orchard road, but away from the bustling of Orchard crowd. A few not so positive things to note : 1. I didn’t not request for an extra bed, but when I got to my room, there was an extra bed inside. I had booked the room for one pax only. 2. For a relatively new hotel, the drainage system is not very well maintained, shower room floods every time i used it 3. Lacking basic toiletries in shower cap, soap dish. 4. Aircon system of Food Exchange not maintained. Water dripping from ceiling, and heavy water marks can be seen around the aircon vent. 5. The hotel could have provided more information on shuttle bus service from T Galleria back to hotel, give the location of the pick up point at T Galleria. Other than that, it’s a cosy place, friendly staff, clean environment.

The room had everything we needed. It was spacious. The bathroom in the master bedroom was a little bit small for me and my parents. I had to stay in the master bedroom because there were only 2 single beds in the 2nd room. This is good for 4 persons at best unless the 5th person is willing to sleep in the sofa or, like me, in the master bedroom. They had an assortment of food in the kitchen. It was in a basket. Really useful as we ate some of it. There is no cleaning service on Sunday and they change beddings only every other day. Overall though, everything was in top shape, service was great. The place is super clean! The view from our hotel room was nice! The bus stop was a bit of a walk though. We took a taxi everytime we had to go out which, when added together, got expensive in the end.

My kid n I late check-in at evening. Room was ready. 2 older male staffs were at the counter. For those people who said the staffs are rude pls touch your heart & ask yourself. I mean things goes both ways. If you are friendly & courteous you get the same treatment back. Dont be yaya papaya & expect that you are some big shot checking in. The hotel uses the older c/in method with paper files & stuffs. So be patient & wait. It may seems slow. Dosent kill you to wait a few mere minutes right?! There are 2 lifts. Older versions tiny lifts that is really cute if you ask me. My kid was in awe seeing such a lift in his lifetime. When we entered the room, it was clean & neat. Towels & Blankets & Bedsheets are Not Rags as other reviews claimed to be. Aircon & Mini fridge is working great. Hot Cold Shower is good too. AND THEY DO PROVIDE 2 SHOWER CAPS & 2 SETS OF TOOTHBRUSH WITH TOOTHPASTE. I dont understand why people claim there isnt any. But I have just a tiny wish that the main room light could be alittle brighter. Location is almost the best you can get for $100 a night in Orchard Road. Breakfast is Toast, Juice & Coffee. If you have travelled far & wide you should know it is as good as it can get. Some hotels such as H81 or similar don't even serve you any breakfast with almost the same price at some other areas. At least it does save you a meal per day & get you on your way. I feel they are rather like a hostel & i am happy with my stay. Would give it a full 3 stars for a 3 star hotel.

It was my first time travelling out of country so I made sure I'd get the best hotel with cheaper price, and so I decided to book with Agoda. Checking in was fast. I spent not longer than 5 minutes and we were good to go in to our room. Check in should be at 2pm but we were made to check in an hour earlier since the room was ready when we got there. The hotel us quite far from famous tourist attractions but there is a bus stop just across the hotel in front of Raffles Girls School. Also, you can take taxi just in front of the hotel entrance, or take a Grab ride. Rooms were quite small but really clean. If you are a tourist and you spend most of your time outside, you wouldn't really mind the room size. I had a great time staying there. If I go back to Singapore, I would choose to stay here again.

Though it was only a 1 night stay, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. When I reached the reception, there was no staff available to me immediately but they kept advising me to take my seat while assuring that they will attend to me shortly and true enough, it wasn't a long wait. Upon check in, I was personally shown to my room by the same receptionist and introduced to all the different functionalities of the gadgets within the room as well as an overall introduction of the swimming pool/gym facilities and its opening hours etc. During my booking, I had informed them that it was my anniversary and that I would like to request for early check in to decorate the room before my partner comes. They tried their best with the request and I was granted an early check in! Knowing that I was going to be driving in and out to execute the surprise, she provided me with spare parking coupons so I would not have to keep going back to reception to ask for it. Also, our room was decorated with a pair of love swan towels and a complimentary cake in courtesy of HFC for our anniversary. After the introduction, the staff even reminded me of the complimentary evening drinks that came together with my booking and where it was taking place. On the day of checkout, I tried my luck to see if I could get a late checkout so we could spend more time there. Again, my request was granted. Overall I must say I'm really satisfied with the sincerity and hospitality of all the hotel staff there. They are a fine example of excellent customer service and I will definitely come back for another stay. I also love the colonial touch of the building amidst all that greenery and I specially love the scent at the hotel lobby. If possible, I hope to know the concoction of that scent. Thank you HFC for making my anniversary such a perfect and memorable one. I will be back again!

happy to stay in singapore marriott hotel at ochard road. always stay at this best location hotel if i travel to singapore. i always recommended this marriott hotel to my friends. really good location for shopping and dining. pub is just around the corner. supermarket just at the basement. atm machines just in front of the hotel main entrance. taxi stand just in front of the main entrance and always priority for hotel guest. everything provided in this hotel, free wifi only available at hotel lobby but not in the room. but recent stay, they started to provide free wifi for hotel guest, unlike last time need to pay for it. really convenience for people like me, lazy to walk and everything you need it you can get it immediately. staffs are friendly and always with greetings and smiles (^~^) hotel food always slurrrrrrppppppsssss~ yummy~ of course will stay there again for my next singapore trip. keep it up!

We spent 3 days at holiday inn, as long as we stay we cant find any disappointed things from this hotel. I booked a room with notes : high floor n no connecting door because we are about to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we don't want to be disturb by some noise from the next door. It's just took couple minutes to check in and when we've arrived at our room,we were surprised by the roses among the hallway up to the bed until bathroom, a box of chocolate, cake and a card that congratulating for our wedding anniversary. Awesome treatment. All the hospitality and treatment.....two thumbs up. Surely will come again for the next vacation.

One of the best hotel i stayed in so far! First of all its dog friendly, so I'm allowed to bring my dog with me at a small fee :) This is definitely a plus point, and the staff are very helpful to it. secondly, the location is wonderful, easy access to town. thirdly, they actually pay attention to all their guests and i even got a belated birthday card and gifts from them. :) Thank you for the hospitality and I'll be back to visit again with my pup!

It was my 1st ever BEST experience to stay in a luxurious 5 stars hotel in Singapore since we can't travel out. I stayed there for 3D2N. It was a wonderful staycation throughout my 2nights stay. I was celebrating my birthday with my family. I have 2 kids age 16months & 5years old. The staffs was so friendly & service was so efficient. I stayed in Room 1301 Carolina Suites Room. When I first check-in the hotel, I was only with my 16months old boy. He was a bit cranky but the receptionist handle the situation with care & smooth. They even offered me to send a drink to my room as it's was quite troublesome for me to go to the bar for the complimentary drinks. When I first entered the room, I was so WOW with the room cleanliness. A chambermaids came to setup the bottle & glass by the side table of the bed. A complimentary birthday cake & chocolate box from the hotel. 24hours of free hot chocolate for the kids. The next morning went for a swim & was greeted by the friendly staffs. They even take the initiative to bring the towels to us to use after swim. I went for the body massage at their Remede Spa. The service was SUPERB. After the massage i feels so relax & light. They even showed me around the spa & the facilities i can use inside there like the steam room, jacuzzi, sauna room & many more. I also received a small gift from the spa. Thank you. On the last day of our staycation, we can do an express check-out. The manager & some staffs help us to get out luggage & balloons (from the decoration i did in my room) to our car. I'm really looking forward for my next staycation in St. Regis in June for my wedding anniversary. Hopefully I will get the same treatment even though if I'm taking the normal room. Excellent. Staff is always welcoming/friendly and I have been given upgrades quite a few times without a request for one. They are very accommodating and quick to respond. Location is perfect - Tanglin Mall for quick shopping trip, a 10 min walk from Ion Orchard, Gleneagles Hospital is down the street for quick access and if on medical trip. It's also not smack in the middle of Orchard such as the Mandarin Oriental where you will find the crowds and bustle of tourists everywhere you look. The staff up front are very quick to assist you with transportation needs. Buffet for breakfast and dinner is excellent. Highly recommended for stay with children (although pool and facilities are not too exciting for young children), or a stay for any occasion.

A short yet sweet stay at Lloyd’s Inn. Everything in this hotel is amazing starting from the reception, most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, a great first impression of the hotel. The hotel is a small stylish boutique hotel located a step away from Killiney Road where Singapore’s finest kopitiam and restaurants can be found. The room itself is well equipped and exceptional; I stayed in their loft 2-stories room. It was minimalist and very well designed. I was very pleased with my stay, and I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Thank you Lloyd's Inn for the warm hospitality!

More people ought to stay here. Yes, it may be an MRT ride away from Orchard but it's location is a breather from the hustle of the fast pace of Orchard, without it being too far from the city. And the five minute walk to the Stevens Road MRT deals with that quite nicely. Other than that, everything else is a winner. For starters, Kumar, the restaurant's manager, is an excellent overseer! He virtually sees everything and makes sure you feel well cared for and attended to...down to asking how your son's injuries are and whether your daughter will be coming for breakfast. He might even lend you lyrics to your favorite song from the 80s if he is within earshot. And there is our truth worthy housekeeper, Prassanah, who diligently took care of our room, seeing to its upkeep beyond expectation, all done with the hospitality that seems pretty much the culture in the place. I will gladly stay in this place again and again and again, lest I miss out on what I have until I stayed.

kami memilihnya karena letaknya yang strategis tidak jauh dari gleneagles hospital yang bisa dicapai dengan berjalan kaki atau taxi,standart kebersihan yang sangat baik meskipun gedung sudah tua tetapi sangat terpelihara. tidak ada masalah apapun selama menempati selama 2 malam,sarapan pagi sesuai standart hotel bintang 3,harga relatif murah dibanding hotel didaerah sekitar Orcard road.selain itu sangat dekat dengan plaza singapura,dan mrt. bus stop yang sangat dekat hanya melewati parkmall yang ada disebelah hotel kami dapat menuju orcard shopping area yang sangat terkenal di singapura. bus farenya sangat murah hanya S$1 kami sudah sampai di belakang isetan mall.kami tetap akan memilih tinggal di YWCA pada kesempatan lainnya.

We booked using a promotional offer on Agoda and we believe we got a good deal for the hotel. We wanted a hotel within easy reach of Orchard Road and Gleneagles Hospital. Well Orchard Parade sits on Orchard road and easy walking distance to the shopping malls and the MRT station and we easily walked to Gleneagles Hospital within 15mins. Good points: At the time of booking we requested a room near the lift and were granted with one right outside the lifts! Bad points: Our view was of the wall of Forum Shopping mall next door unfortunately but we weren't too fussed about this.
