We chose Hotel Mi in part due to close proximity to MRT, but the location is so good that we often walked anyway (around Little India, back from Merlion Park). The double room is inner-city small, with not much room around the bed. Bed sheets and towels are brand new and spotless, and the en suite is well designed and sparkling. Large window, with excellent blackout blind; good choice of lighting; good HD TV; good safe; simple tea/coffee; only a little space for clothes. Shampoo/gel provided, along with soap, toothbrushes, shower cap. Breakfast is OK in an emergency, but better/cheaper is available on the same road (and Google Maps says there are 18 Starbucks within 1 mile !) Staff are friendly and helpful. (Overall style is like a Holiday Inn Express, Travelodge, Hotel J, etc.) Would stay there again if the price was right. 4/5

Strand Hotel is strategically located at the city center, traveling anywhere in the city is convenient by bus or MRT, there's one that is going to open that is just in front of the hotel, it's not difficult to find food. Very near to Bras Basah Complex where we get our books! Gardens by the Bay is just a few MRT stops, most of the buses pass through the nearest bus station. Getting to the airport is so easy, just take the bus from the nearest bus station and you will alight at Changi Airport Terminal 3 basement.

Love the whole hotel ambiance the moment i step into the lobby. Staffs were friendly. Was served by Vearn for check-in. Room is very cosy and true to pictures. Toilet is small but very clean. Bed is comfy. Location is great as it is in the middle of dhoby ghaut, bugis and city hall 1and walking distance only. Close proximity to museums. If you're hungry at night, there is a nearby 24-hour indian muslim shop. Just walk all the way to the right when exit the hotel. If you're looking to buy cheap novel books, head to Bras Basah Complex. Would definitely come back again!

We stayed at Ibis for 3 nights and have a great experience. These are some of the things we enjoyed most while we stayed there. 1. Great Location. Ibis at Bencoolen is strategically located near shopping area and easy access to public transportation. It is only 3 minutes walking distance to OG Albert Dept Store and around 7 minutes to the famous Bugis Junction Shopping complex. Right accross the hotel there is a pick up point for you to go to Universal Studios Singapore and Sentosa Island for free. (Only for foreigners and you MUST show your passport to the driver before you can hop in to the bus) The shuttle bus also stopped at Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Casino. The first bus will be arrive at 09.00 am and come again every 30 minutes. Reguler bus stop is right in front of the hotel, you can go directly to Orchard or anywhere else from this point. Nearest MRT station will be at Bugis Junction area. And if you feel hungry you dont need to worry because just behind the hotel there is a medium to large food court complex consist of around 80-100 outlets or stall. 2. Free Wi Fi Access You will get a free access to wifi from your room. Uploading your holiday photos in Singapore will be a fun thing to do after a day full of walking and sightseeing. 3. Clean and neat room. The size of the room is not so big but the cleanliness of the room is a plus point. They managed to maximized the room space to the point where everything that we need in a hotel room is availlabe. For me and my family to comeback to this Hotel again is a big sure.

Booked a King bedroom for 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed the stay. Room is spacious and clean, and comes with great view of the hotel's vicinity. Love that the material used for the design of the hotel corridors and room is mainly wood, which gives off a very comfortable feeling. Hotel lobby is located at level 25, and while the desk counters are not very prominent, the staff are very efficient and helpful in providing any assistance. Breakfast spread is tasty, and the gym is well equipped too! Superb location that is linked to Bugis MRT and shopping malls as well. Overall one of the best staycations I've ever had in Singapore. Will definitely come back again!

When I booked the hotel I saw there’s a swimming pool facility but didn’t realize it was an infinity pool so nice even though the backdrop is not as good as MBS, it’s still a stunning view of the city. Staff are very professional and very helpful especially when I requested to deposit my backpack for a month while I travel away and everything was intact and safe. The location is superb and WiFi connection is very good! One of the best connection in the world. The only thing I don’t quite like is the shower and toilet room design are too small. It’s silly to separate them making it harder to go in and out of shower. Lastly the cleaner is quite stingy in issuing the toiletries especially only give one shower gel bottle every day even though I was staying alone in a 2 persons room I booked for 5 nights. The cleaners did not issue standard toiletries. I also have to ask for moisture lotion as well. There are 2 standard water bottles everyday which is very pleasant and nice of the hotel.

I have been to many hotels in Singapore and this is the best so far. It's spacious compare to many with the same value. Not many come with swimming pool with the amount paid as well. It comes with complimentary parking and just located opposite of Bencoolen station, DT21 (blue line). It opened on 1st Nov 2017 so pretty new and some renovation is still on going at time of writing however it doesn't cause me any inconvenient. Orchard, Esplanade, Marina Bay, Garden by the bay just nearby. There are Food Republic and Din Tai Fung next to hotel and do try the restaurant (The Glass Onion) opposite the hotel if you do not want to travel far, the food is quite nice. The only con could be the sound proof however only when you are unlucky to stay next to some people who are not considerate and shouting till 2am which is in my case and the hotel is fully booked thus I am not able to change my room. Will be back if I am going to Singapore again.

Hotel is new and hence everything is clean. Location is very close to golden mile and Beach Road hawker center. Local and Thai food is plentiful beside the hotel. Lavender MRT is a 10 minute walk away making it even accesible via public transport. Only issue I have is that the hotel has too few lifts. You may take awhile before it reaches your floor and another long ride before it arrives at the lobby.

It was a breeze coming here directly from the airport and I checked into my room minutes after arriving. After a quick shower, I walked out of the hotel and began sampling the local food from the many restaurants and cafes nearby. Shoppers would love the location as it is located next to 2 shopping malls, as well as being next to the National Library and Brash Basah Complex i.e. Book city. And for avid backpackers, the hotel is located not just next to 1 subway station but two, which opens up even more opportunities to exploring Singapore by busy travellers like me. Truly a high recommended hotel stay to all!

Don't let the 3 stars fool you. This is an absolutely excellent hotel in a great location, just a few minutes walk from Rochor and Bugis MRT stations. Plenty of shopping and food around the area. Rooms are relatively small, but clean and modern, nice beds and pillows. And the bathroom! Whoah. Clinically clean, shiny, with the "extras" you usually only see in 4 and 5 star hotels. And with plenty of water, both hot and cold. Taking a shower here was a pleasure. A decent although not fantastic breakfast. Absolutely recommended! I would stay here again.

This is not a 5* hotel so one should not compare. I had a great stay as always. The receptionists may not smile much, but they are friendly n check-in is a breeze! The standard rooms are not very small or cramp, in fact, is a reasonable size. They provide almost all the basic necessities, except for toothbrush & toothpaste n a mini bar/fridge - Standard room. But the rates are worth it despite its an old hotel. But the location is excellent. A walk to the nearest MRT is only less than 5mins! I have stayed her quite a few times, which i enjoyed staying; more than my current place (having to squeez in a roon with my sister). Not forgetting there is also a food court just behind the hotel n it take a mere 3-min walk! Will be back again n its 1 of my fav 3 star hotel to rest n chill with lotsa privacy. Take note: The aircon temp can be really cold - Which is good! Those who are afraid of the cold, remember to have ur jacket ready. Late check-out i got was only til 12.30pm, never once had 1 or 2pm check-out - Could be due to high occupancy. No room service but lotsa eateries around, so no complains. There's also drink vending machines and free ice machine located on certain floors. - Thumb up!

My 53rd trip to Singapore since 1964 and I like to stay in the location of Bencoolen Hotel. It is now more attractive and convenient as the new train station opened on 23 Oct to enable easy travel to and from the airport. The Bencoolen station is 50m from hotel entrance. From the airport buy the ticket for $2.50 . The journey is Airport to Expo then change and Expo to Bencoolen without any other change of train.. The train operates the same in the Bencoolen to Airport schedule. Since my last stay in June there has been two new developments inear the hotel ; a restaurant and an art gallery. The Hotel Bencoolen offers reliable quality accomodation in its category. Its easy access to the river; a walk of around 10 mins and the same to Orchard Rd shopping complexes. The hotel has recently opened a new restaurant inside the hotel which serves breakfast and lunch. I have made two further bookings for later in the year.

Well, Actually i never planned to choose this hotel while on Singapore. but it turns out to be one of the best things that happen on my trip. Location : very near from bugis location, surrounded by a very interesting street such as Arab Street and the most instragramable street on SG , Haji Lane. for moslem i highly reccomended this place coz you cant found a lot of tasty and halal food around, with a view of the biggest mosque in SG. Cleanliness : Room is very compact as i can tell, very comfort with a new interior there. Staff: Well they are exceptional. very kind and broad smile on their face. never bother us and always provide everything that we need . Facilities : Room is very modern. they provide us a phone that allowed us to make a call or browsing. and the best thing is they rent it for free and we can use it outside the hotel. they provide a still and sparkling water near the receptionist which is very good deal cos a bottle of water can cost you 1 dollar there. Overall, i am very satisfied on my first visit on nuve hotel. i will go back for sure. and i very recommend this place for a solo or couple traveler, who want to save money but not feeling ease to living on hostel. this is 3 star hotel that feels like a 4 star hotel. Conclusion : Highly Recommended !

it was actually our second preference apartment but fate had changed it to be our best hotel in singapore so far. we have a young daughter who is very active. a park around the corner, easy access to bus stops that take u literally everywhere, walking distance to mrt makes travel easily planned. tugged a little away from orchard meant the apartment was reasonably priced. hotel facilities were comparable to 3 star hotel. its free internet access is well appreciated. finally, all around nice friendly staff frm reception, housekeeping, kitchen, even maintainence.

We reserved originally reserved a room at Fragrance Hotel-Bugis but was upgraded to Fragrance Hotel Riverside upon our arrival because the type of room we reserved for was not available. The upgrade was quite a blessing because Riverside was nearer to Clarke Quay, Chinatown, and Clarke Quay Central. It was also near the Merlion. Going to Sentosa cost us only S$9.90 inclusive of the booking fee for the taxi. Going back to the hotel from Sentosa via MRT only cost us S$1.40 per pax. Breakfast served was also delicious and proximity to Chinatown allowed us to enjoy good hawker food at the Food Street and Chinatown Complex. All hotel staff including those from Fragrance Hotel -Bugis provided excellent service. Hotel was clean and lived up to its name "Fragrance Hotel".

HI, I had be staying in hotel Royal @ Queen a lot of time. From the moment you check in until you check out the service of the hotel is the best. They really there to help you and providing the best information to your question. The breakfast is nice too. Only 1 thing which during my very first time staying in this hotel's feedback to the hotel and until at this lastest stay ( 18 Jan 2016 ) that the hotel still never improve is having stay in this 4 star hotel they can't even provide 2 free mineral water to the room guests. The hotel must ALWAYS remember is small little refreshment will impact a great image of the hotel and happy of the guest whom travel 10 over hrs of flight to here ( singapore )which you can get 3 bottle NTUC mineral only cost 95 cents. A bit of cost but can bring back a lot guests to the hotel. please look into my suggestion. thank hope to see some changes when I am back to this hotel again,

Best experienced we had. Very accesible to the shopping area, hospitals. Staff anticipates your needs. They are easy to converse with and most have a pleasant disposition towards work. Hotel,s ambience is 5 star quality. A very quiet place, and room whre you can really rest. Food quality, presentation is very good. Variety of buffet prepared each day. You are assured that you are secured staying in intercontinental singapore and if given a chance I would love to come back and stay again in this hotel.Our 5 day stay is a very memorable one and looking forward to going back to singapore and will definitely book again in this hotel. Just next time please give us a higher floor room, though we requested for this and was transferred the following day.Thank you.

Well, when booked this hotel I actually didn't realize there are two Bencoolens there: the hotel and a "serviced apartments" which I luckily booked. We got a 2-bedroom (plus living room) apartment, with complete kitchen and two bathrooms. The apt is little bit shubbed and some ceiling paint would help, but all the rest is very good: spacious, clean, comfortable. The kind-of-buffet breakfast is very basic, but if you are not too spoiled you will not leave hungry. The real advantages are: very good location (the taxi stand in front of the hotel, MRT station is less than 1 min walking, main attractions are in 10-15 min waling distance), the pool (including jaccuzi and toddler's pool) and kids playground on a top of the 12th floor, nice patio on the 5th floor. My conclusion : very good accommodation for budget famiky travelers!

The stay was excellent though we could hardly seen the housekeeping staff. The only issue was when we were asking for iron board and iron, it took them almost a day to send it to our room. Luckily,the ever helpful chinese male receptionist whom had sent it to our room himself. The room is not so big particularly the superior double and not suitable for travellers with lots of baggages, however the room is so comfortable and clean. The hotel also has swimming pool. The location is excellent as MRT-Little India is only 5mins walking distance. Halal Food and the Sultan Mosque is also walking distance. Sim Lim Tower and OG shopping Complex is just 5mins walk. 7 eleven shop is located within the hotel building. 24hours massage centre is 5mins walking distance and offer good price. The hotel does not offer airport transfer but you can easily ask the receptionist to call the taxi for you which would attend you in a nick of time. Early check in is allowed with extra charges. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

For a week stay, this is an affordable stay if you do not like hostels. Simple conviniences from the bed to the bathroom, convinient stores just 2mins-5mins away, near by mrt station nicoll highway and glorious variety of food just surrounding you! Some are with fancy dine ins restaurants, simple pleasures of food, bars, cafes and ice-cream eateries! Best if you wanna continue your journey to malaysia! Go golden mile complex, choose starmart bus agency (affordable but somehow sevice is a rating of 3 out of five. As somehow you need to be self reliant and ask the staff simple direct logical questions)

Great hotel and wonderful friendly staff. We have met some trouble few days before our traveling period. However, the hotel staff try all their best to help us and provide the best service to us. Me and my friend came from 2 different countries, and only my friend will be arriving at the hotel, and she only can speak a little bit English only, however, when I write an email to the hotel, their efficiency on replying email and also arrangement to help my friend who came from Japan is just fantastic and appreciated. Never-ever thought that we have booked a very nice hotel and great staff. Hotel location just nice, friendly and helpful staff is the best, cleanliness of the hotel perfect. I asked my friend how's she going to rate the hotel for overall, without thinking, she replied me 10/10! Great hotel ever. And will return back to the hotel again. Last but not least, thank you very much to the hotel staff and also manager. We definitely will go back to stay with you again and introduce to everyone. TQ~

I wasn't expecting too much when I booked a room for me and my mom as I was only after the location of the hotel since I read from the other reviews that it's practically just a stroll away from most of the places we were planning to visit. When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised since the room is bigger compared to the usual 3 star hotels around the Bugis area. Although customer service of the staff is average which is normal in Singapore, I did enjoy the convenience plus I also love the view from our room. Despite the fact that we were just at the 3rd floor, we didn't hear any noise coming from the road. It was also great that we had so many options when it comes to food and places to go to. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

walking distance 5-7min to metro station. I didn't have to use bus to get anywhere else. The metro covered most of the attraction: marina sand bay, vivo city to sentosa, etc. Room was clean and roomy (compared to other hotel). We used to stay at B.Hotel and man, it barely has room to breath. Affordable price with great location together with good staff. It doesn't have toothpaste and toothbrush so you gotta bring your own. We don't have restaurant inside the building but just downstairs we have Malaysian/ Idian food corner. Walking 3 min, you will get to Tekka food court with Indian/Chinese/ Jap/ Korea/ all kind of food. It is good and cheap, even though the quality might not be as good as Michelin 1 star booth or Tian Tian chicken rice but it's 3min away so who cares. Overall will stay here next time until I can find a better place with the same price, and I doubt it could happen in this lifetime.

In general everything is beautiful, the white and black highlights make the Adonis Rich in Class. Starting from your welcome drink which is refreshing, all the way until you check out, you will be treaty like royalty. This is the very best hotel that I have experienced in all my travels, looking forward to coming back with my fiancee. The room is so relaxing I almost forgot I was there on business!Everyone went out of their way to ensure all my needs were met. need a reminder? they will call you to notify you of Breakfast, lunch. or dinner. I hope they don't change a thing with their hotel everything is purrrfect!

I think you can't better hotel in Singapore at this price. Elegant and practical design for their relative spacious room (I like the shower room especially), quite at night, some cheap spa nearby, a nice indian restaurant open till late, etc. Of course it's not in the best area but considering the size of Singapore, it's still a better to spend a little more on taxi but much less on hotel. Staff are efficient and helpful, no complaint, but on my departure date there was some sort of video shooting in lobby, I was not informed so when I walked out of elevator the crew were staring right at me like I walked into a wrong place (it's c/o time what did I suppose to do ...) finally they allowed me out of the elevator to finish my c/o, but I had to drag myself and luggage out to wait for my taxi on the street because the lobby was still occupied ... By the way, want to thank the reception in their sister hotel at Sultan Street, she helped me to find the right hotel while taxi dropped me at the wrong place when I arrived.
