Quest is a very nice hotel with an excellent location to Ayala Mall and the center of Cebu. The staff here cannot be any friendlier. The security guards make you feel very safe when going to and from, plus getting in and out of a taxi The breakfast buffet is excellent with a great assortment of very good food, BUT remember the lattes are extra. 450 pesos for a macchiato, which I didn't think was worth it. The pool area is great and out of the sun for most of the morning. The room was very comfortable and plenty of television stations. Shower was hot and bathroom very clean.

First, the location is excellent relative to the airport and the ferry terminals, and is across the street from a huge mall. If you'd like to also walk around to see what Cebu is like, it's not such a great location - it's near the industrial port area, a long walk to anything of interest to a pedestrian. The historic part of Cebu is an easy cab ride away though, also near the waterfront but about a mile or two west. The hotel is modern and nice but had a few discrepancies: the towels were worn and should have been replaced long ago; our bathmat was tattered and had holes in it! The refrigerator did not work at all. (I like to keep my drinking water supply cold.) Lastly, there is no lighting above or adjacent to the bathroom sink, making for really bad shadows when trying to shave or put on makeup. No pool. I also stayed in the Best Western Plus Lex Hotel for a few days which was classier, had a better pedestrian location, an infinity pool and a great view from the roof level..

located at ayala center which is cbd center of cebu, elisabeth is relatively new in deco & room setting. we arrived early in the morning, leave our luddage at the hotel. then, we checked in in the afternoon. the staff the nice & not too warm which is great. a lot of choice in breakfast, try the chocolate porridge,i love it a lot. generally, a more than a nice place to stay,every thing is just about right. i will come back & stay if i go to cebu next time.

I have stayed in many hotels in Cebu, and will more than likely stay here or in Cebu Grand Hotel also booked through Agoda when u look at value, quality, and cost. Yes there are many other good hotels, but not for the price. CLOSE to EVERYTHING! Connected to mall which has groceries and great prices on top floor! Located on the main square / round about so you have many activities there that are very safe to walk to even at night. I would suggest paying the little extra for the deluxe room to get the best view. The hotel is also connected to Cebu Pacific Air office which is excellent convenience...also walking distance to perhaps the best hospital in Cebu as well as at least 2 pharmacies. The restaurant was sufficient and you have plenty of options at the connected mall if you prefer.

I have been visiting the Philippines now for more than 3 yrs ,i have been fortunate to have travelled to many islands and stayed at many Hotels ,to date ,not 1 Hotel comes near to the Radisson of Cebu ,not just in quality but attention to detail and value for money ?? The food is the best by far ,the rooms for me rate amongst some of the best in the world! I have made the mistake of booking at other Hotels while staying in Cebu and for reasons that i do not want to write down here , i have paid for it and my butt was most deservid of a swift kick for forgetting that FOR ME THE RADISSON OF CEBU rates 1 of the best in the world , I for 1 will indeed visit every year and will recommend to all my business colleagues .

I found this hotel to be very nice, although it is located some distance from the center of Cebu City. Taxis are cheap, so perhaps this is not such a big problem. The hotel is quite new, with a modern, industrial feel to it. The rooms and common areas are decked out with loads of funky art and furnishings - quite an attraction alone. The room was clean and modern and the bed, bathroom and air-con were all good. There is a pool on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel and it was fine. On the downside, the WiFi was very very slow, almost to the point that it was not usable. In this year (2014) all hotels should ensure that internet access is a priority - travelers need to be connected! Also, the staff are all asked to wear the same black-rimmed glasses to match the quirky decor of the hotel. That's cute, but I found it distracting and hard recognize them individually. I suggest that the management drop this silly idea. Overall, the Henry Hotel is a good quality hotel and I would be happy to stay again.

Much to say, but will keep it concise. Overall a good value. Staff was great. Room surprisingly small for a superior double. No dresser or shelves....closet is ok with typical 4 hangers....(Philippine tradition?). Refrigerator was welcome sight even if missing a leg to keep stable. This would be very ok room for a single, but a bit cramped for a double. The bathroom is western style and I love that the hot water in the shower was consistant, although not much force. The breakfast was very good. Buffet style made it easier than most hotels I have stayed at in Cebu. Hotel is close to most shopping you will need (7/11 attached) and a three block walk to the SM Mall....but wear a mask and be careful crossing the streets. There is a laundry (expensive) and a gym (small but adequate) there, but they are both separate businesses.....you can pay for the gym on a daily basis...about 2.00 USD.

This hotel is good! From its services to its staff, I was generally satisfied. I can somehow identify some downsides, one is reaching its location from the airport, especially if you arrive at a later time of the day. The traffic is just so overwhelming that it will make your butt heat off while waiting inside the taxi. So I advice fellow travellers to arrive in Cebu before 9am to avoid traffic because there is traffic everywhere (Well, yeah, the entire Philippines, I guess.)! Secondly, the pool is open at a limited time. It is open from 6am to 9pm only. I guess they implemented this rule because there are rooms beside the pool. I only identified it as a downside because we were travelling with children who wants to swim all the time. But I guess this wouldn't matter if you are not the type who stays at the water all the time. Finally, the wi-fi services. We stayed at 2 premiere rooms and got 24 hour complimentary wi-fi use per person, per gadget. We are the kind of persons who shares everything in our social media that's why we use internet all the time. Once you have consumed this all up, you will be charged 100 pesos for every 24 hour use. But then again, if you are the type of traveller who doesn't rely much on the world wide web, this wouldn't matter. Overall, I have enjoyed my 3 day stay here with my family. It is very much close to everything as it is in the very heart of Cebu City. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends who wishes to visit Cebu. But if you are looking for a place very near the beach, this is not it.

Hotel was well above expectations, Staff were helpful and polite, housekeeping was excellent, rooms large and comfortable and restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. The drawback of being a little far out from the City was made good by a quickly arranged taxi service. Wifi was a bit spotty and varied between very fast and nothing - but many areas of Cebu were having wifi difficulties at that time....so probably the fault of the appallingly backward Phils telecom companies.

You can see the entrance to Alaya mall from the entrance of the hotel. It's in the center of Cebu in a very safe area. The check in was quick and easy, and check out was even quicker. Booking through Agoda meant that there was no extra charge for AC, TV, and towels. The room was small, but very clean. It had an in-room safe and a good shower. It's perfect for a short stay especially if travelling alone and not needing a lot of room.

I recommend spending a bit extra on the club room if you like a quiet space for breakfast with full menu option, need space for business meeting, or like an evening drink. The rooms are well designed and spacious compared to other choices in Cebu. However the rooms are showing their age and a renovation will be needed in the next couple of years to maintain a 5 star rate. For some the location can be a disadvantage. Overall however it is my choice of Cebu hotels.

we booked ABC for the one night only as we flew to Cataclan the day after. The hotel is located in Cebu City, about 30mins drive with litle traffic (make sure to plan your return trip to the airport carefully however, traffic can be awful depending on the time of the day). Rooms were big, equipped with TV, electronic safe, plenty of plug sockets, lights, bathroom was decent size with decent shower, towels and toiletries provided. Wi-Fi signal and speed in room was fine. if I had to come back to Cebu I would definitely stay here again.

I booked a two night's stay here (double room w/ ensuite), breakfast included. A reasonable rate for Cebu, and worth it since I booked on such short notice. Despite the name, Express Inn is less of an inn and more of a hotel. The helpful staff tells me they have only been open for less than a year, so everything was pleasantly new and very clean. My room was reasonably spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom even had a rainshower head. It is a budget hotel though, and it comes with the usual cons like having really small and cheap toiletries, and you had to hang a sign on the door of your room if you want to have it cleaned, otherwise the housekeeping wouldn't bother. Nevertheless, I'm glad a lot of comfortable and efficient budget hotels like this are becoming more popular, and Express Inn is no exception. Plus, the location was good, near a lot of cheap eateries and a walkable distance from SM. All in all, a highly recommended stay for the budget-conscious traveler.

Cebu Grand Hotel is situated near the center of Cebu and is within walking distance to the Fuente Osmena circle. Rather dated hotel which needs renovation, the rooms are spacious and have proper amenities for a comfortable stay. The front desk and room staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Taxis van be ordered easily for transport to the Ayala Center Mall and the SM mall. A most attractive feature is the reasonble price in comparison to most Cebu hotels.

It has been my experience that often hotels are given a 4 star rating, but actually have 3 star quality to them Harold meets its 4 star mark with ease. It is a newer hotel in a central part of Cebu City, walking distance from Ayala Center Mall, and a short cab ride to IT Park, SM Mall, or Robinson's Mall. Not too far from the airport, about a 20 minute ride (without traffic). The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bed was to die for. Probably the most comfortable bed and pillows I have slept on in a long time. The rooms were well thought out. Ample number of power outlets, well lit, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, safe, and refrigerator all in the room. It had a nice and tasty breakfast spread. Several restaurants are in walking distance. It does not have all the bells and whistles of the Radisson Blu, but the quality of the rooms and service are equal. This is definitely a great hotel for the price. I would be happy to stay there again, just for the comfort of the bed. Highly recommended.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels and inns in Cebu but Uncle Tom's Cabin is so far the best one yet. It's very affordable but the service, rooms, facilities are in the ranks of the expensive hotels. The ambiance is very homey, comfortable and the staff are very accommodating, friendly and courteous. My stay was very comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Cebu who want to live in the center of the city yet enjoy the comfort of exclusivity.

Had to leave another hotel after sign in at 2:00 pm , searched online looking for better( much higher reviews) and read many not just 1-2 ( this time ) , found Cebu Hotel Plus , thank youuuuuuu ! Really liked our stay , very clean , really great staff (had only a few channels, so i asked if anything was wrong ,3-4 people showed up, later that night had many , many channels) we had had a great view of the mountains , buffet breakfast (they started only a month ago )really good .Will return whenever i'm in the area. Thank you again , the aircons really work well .

The hotel was located near the center of Cebu City so it was accessible to taxi cabs and jeeneys if you'rere in a tight budget. 😊 The room was not as I expected it to be, it was quite small for 3 persons and luggages. House keeping was great, the room was well cleaned. FOOD/ROOM SERVICE: BAD SERVICE! The Michael Angelo Cafè has a lousy service. Food was so-so and not enough food choices for breakfast. And you even have to wait for like an hour from the time you ordered it just to eat. They even ask you to change the breakfast you like just because it was still frozen? You can like get a hot water and soak it for a couple of minutes and you can cook it. The lady was not smiling too. I suggest you better get your own cafeteria or change where you get your food and room service. All in all our stay was great except the food. Will come back but will not include breakfast. 😊😁

We visited during the Sinulog Festival, a busy time for Cebu. We arrived at the hotel early coming from MoalBoal and before their check-in time, the staff at the reception kindly accommodated our early check-in which was convenient for us as this gave us more time to explore the area and Cebu itself during the most colourful time of the year; the Sinulog Fest was also ort first so it was something that we were looking forward to. The hotel was busy and had shows featuring performers for the Sinulog festival which was exciting to watch with all the upbeat music and array of colours from the performers' costumes. The hotel at the time was on a festive mood and that made us more excited with our stay in the city. We also found that although the location was a little away to the main Sinulog festival area, it is easily accessible by taxi, so no problem for us. We also found that Cebu's many bars and great music bars. Cebu's nightlife are all accessible by a short taxi drive and cost us just under 100 pesos. Our accommodation at the hotel was amazingly huge with 1 single bed and a queens size bed. HIgh ceilings giving you a maximum feeling of grandeur with its added rustic décor. The bathroom was also of good size with a deep bathtub and separate shower cubicle. For the amount I paid using Agoda, I didn't expect this good quality accommodation in a quieter area of Cebu. Outside the hotels are some good looking spas for massage and beauty treatment, we also tried the restaurants outside and they offer good food and good value, places like Tongs an eat all you can buffet restaurant offering many sea food dishes. Mandaue city is just in the corner where you will find many of the fast food joints if that is one's fancy. The hotel had other facilities like swimming pool and gym which we didn't try as we only stayed for a night but the hotel offer good value for the accommodation they provide and staff hospitality was excellent! Southpole Central Hotel is an incredibly new hotel in the heart of Cebu City. When I asked taxi drivers to get here, the best bet is to tell them that you're going to Junquera street and add that it is located just across University of San Carlos. Next to it is a 7-Eleven. The hotel itself was still under construction. During our stay, we could definitely hear construction work on the upper levels, but it wasn't loud and distracting. The washroom was incredibly well-built, but the shower was not separated by a shower door. This makes the whole washroom floor wet after someone takes a bath and some people may find this disgusting. The redeeming part of this hotel is the bed and the excellent airconditioning. Also, the hotel provides its patrons with a nifty list of channels for their TV. In terms of acoustic insulation, I could definitely hear people talking in the hallway and sometimes from the room next to us. This really isn't a problem for me, but some people may find this offputting.
