Been trying out countless of hotels in Singapore for staycations, as compared to other 5 star establishments, Hotel G is comparable in terms of comfort. Though it is a 4 star property and rooms are rather small, I do not have any major complains, rather I have good feedback to give. Staff: Jacob at the front desk was a man of few words, but he has a smile on all the time and he does his best to impress. He made my 2nd or 3rd (I don't remember) stay with Hotel G much better than my first when it was still named BIG hotel. Rooms: Toilet could be done cleaner and more spotless. As for the room/desk area, no complains as of now. Keep it up! Restaurant: With the introduction of Ginett (I don't know if I spelt that right) The restaurant has been a great addition to the establishment. Just that, breakfast selection feels lazy and bland, nothing special and could be improved. So much potential in the breakfast choices. Overall, there is so much room for improvement even though they are already doing well. Keep it up Jacob and the rest of the staff at Hotel G!

One of the best hotels I stayed in Singapore! The front desk staff was really welcoming, he upgraded my room to a suite even though I only stayed for one night. The price is good for its service, location and the room itself. It's only 1 mins walk to Bencoolen MRT station and 5 mins walk to Orchard Rd. The room is spacious with huge window facing the main road. Best thing of the hotel is that they provide you with Handy smartphone that you can bring outside the hotel to access the internet so if you don't get a SIM card or wifi pocket in Singapore, this is really handy (no pun intended). There is convenience store and food court that's open until 2 AM just across the street. I definitely will be coming back next time I visit Singapore!

Location is the best, the Bencoolen MRT station is just right in front. You can go across the road to get to another MRT station Bras Basah. If walk further down a bit from hotel, you get the bus station in front of Redesvous hotel to everywhere you like. If you like some walking, not far away is the National art museum, national museum of Singapore. It takes only 2 stations to Chinatown, one station to Esplanade (access to Suntec city, Marinasquare). Do a bit of walking you get to Albert court hawker Centre, Bugis junction, and even nearby there are plenty bars, restaurants and shopping Centre at Bugis, Orchard is within 20 min walking. If feel want to cycling, there is OFO bicycle for rent too! Hotel wise, they do housekeeping everyday, very clean and spacious room. We have really good sleep there. Highly recommended!

V hotel Bencoolen is a nice budget hotel. When I first booked this hotel, i didnt realize that this hotel is literally next to the MRT Station. It is really convenience for us to travel anywhere in Singapore with this MRT. Before the MRT Station, V hotel is always located near the food area.We didnt have to book any breakfast at the hotel because our surrounding is full with small restaurant and kopitiam. This hotel has a great value of money. With around when I first booked it, it was the best hotel ive ever booked. But, there is also another he location is also superb and has more food around it. The hotel is so a bit bigger than Bencoolen. So, if you want to book, try first; it could be full (I got that twice); then try V hotel Bencoolen

Stayed at the Ibis Hotel along Bencoolen Street for a total of 3 days and two nights. It had a very good atmosphere to it and I will definitely come back here the next time. Lets start off with the hotel itself, choices of colours for its interior of the hotel lobby and its room were spot on. Staff were very welcoming for my needs. Rooms were very clean, especially the toilet. A nice touch were the usage of wooden parquet floors for the room which made the whole stay more cozy. I would also suggest to book a room that comes with the extra benifits, things like the "Handy Smartphone" which allows you to make unlimited and FREE calls to your loved ones to most of the countries makes the stay more desirable as you are constantly being connected. Oh and not to mention, you can also bring that phone out with you so you can use it anytime and anywhere...and of course WiFi is also available in your own room. Location wise, the hotel is conveniently located about 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the Bugis MRT station which is beneath a shopping centre. Bugis Street is along the corner as well which makes it a breeze for you to get food especially in the day. There is also an indian mamak restaurant located opposite of the hotel if indian food is in mind for supper that is opened throughtout the night. I also found out that there were two 7-Elevens nearby, one of which is located just next to the hotel itself. All in all, I enjoyed my stay here and I highly reccomend it. Sweet, Smart Simple, Clean, Cozy and Convenient. Those are the words best to describe this hotel. Good job Ibis Hotel!

We absolutely love this hotel, with its high floors and great view of the marina and Singapore skyline. There is a nice lounge for all guests but never had a feeling that it was crowded. In fact not many guests were there and I could even work and take some calls - as did a couple other guests. They have several good restaurants in the hotel plus a rooftop bar with the best views. Breakfast is amazing, not by variety but by quality. Anyway, there is more than enough to choose from. Room rates are expensive but for us, truly worth it. Accessibility is good, with buses and the train station nearby, Suntec Mall and Bugis Junction mall also within walking distance.

When I booked the hotel I saw there’s a swimming pool facility but didn’t realize it was an infinity pool so nice even though the backdrop is not as good as MBS, it’s still a stunning view of the city. Staff are very professional and very helpful especially when I requested to deposit my backpack for a month while I travel away and everything was intact and safe. The location is superb and WiFi connection is very good! One of the best connection in the world. The only thing I don’t quite like is the shower and toilet room design are too small. It’s silly to separate them making it harder to go in and out of shower. Lastly the cleaner is quite stingy in issuing the toiletries especially only give one shower gel bottle every day even though I was staying alone in a 2 persons room I booked for 5 nights. The cleaners did not issue standard toiletries. I also have to ask for moisture lotion as well. There are 2 standard water bottles everyday which is very pleasant and nice of the hotel.

I have been to many hotels in Singapore and this is the best so far. It's spacious compare to many with the same value. Not many come with swimming pool with the amount paid as well. It comes with complimentary parking and just located opposite of Bencoolen station, DT21 (blue line). It opened on 1st Nov 2017 so pretty new and some renovation is still on going at time of writing however it doesn't cause me any inconvenient. Orchard, Esplanade, Marina Bay, Garden by the bay just nearby. There are Food Republic and Din Tai Fung next to hotel and do try the restaurant (The Glass Onion) opposite the hotel if you do not want to travel far, the food is quite nice. The only con could be the sound proof however only when you are unlucky to stay next to some people who are not considerate and shouting till 2am which is in my case and the hotel is fully booked thus I am not able to change my room. Will be back if I am going to Singapore again.

This hotel is really clean with decent size rooms, great pool, very friendly staff. It is really good value for money for Singapore, as I got it in a pretty good deal with breakfast. Breakfast is mostly western-style buffet and it is ok, nothing amazing. Some things can run out if you eat late. The hotel is located about 4-5 minute walk from Nicolle MRT station, with last train at about midnight. Taxis are easy to use too. The hotel is not located in the most touristy area in Singapore, but it is also not as noisy. There are a few hotels nearby, an office biulding, hawkers markets just across the road, a few resturants, 7/11 a few minutes walk- so you will see a mix of locals and tourists on the street. Overall this is a good and safe area, and it is about 2 km from Marina Bay so it is all very close. This hotel is good if you’re looking for an affordable option for a decent 4 star hotel in a great location and willing to compromise for the luxury and famous hotel strip experince.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for our staycation to celebrate Vday last weekend. We got a free upgrade to a premier room (which was totally awesome) even though we paid at a really affordable price from agoda. Best things were good location (a stone's throw to nearby shopping Bugis Junction, Bugis +, museums, tons of restaurants and food places such as Macdonalds and convenience stores), cleanliness of the room, and a really affordable price. Given that the price we paid for a 4-star hotel, I must say I am pretty impressed. I will definitely come back for more staycations!

Service 3 star hotel with 5 star services. Staff were nice and friendly. Thanks the staff who is working on 28-29 May for me. Check in and out were fast and easy. Unlike one of the 4 star hotel I book days before. Slow service. Room I don’t really mind the size of any room from any hotel as long as it is clean. And guess what, this hotel is very clean. Small but nice and clean. It look new. Bed is comfy and sheet is clean. Toilet is simple and nice too. My house is under renovation so i’ve been staying at a few hotels here and there. This is the cheapest and yet the best. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Keep up the good work and the cleaniness.

This is not a 5* hotel so one should not compare. I had a great stay as always. The receptionists may not smile much, but they are friendly n check-in is a breeze! The standard rooms are not very small or cramp, in fact, is a reasonable size. They provide almost all the basic necessities, except for toothbrush & toothpaste n a mini bar/fridge - Standard room. But the rates are worth it despite its an old hotel. But the location is excellent. A walk to the nearest MRT is only less than 5mins! I have stayed her quite a few times, which i enjoyed staying; more than my current place (having to squeez in a roon with my sister). Not forgetting there is also a food court just behind the hotel n it take a mere 3-min walk! Will be back again n its 1 of my fav 3 star hotel to rest n chill with lotsa privacy. Take note: The aircon temp can be really cold - Which is good! Those who are afraid of the cold, remember to have ur jacket ready. Late check-out i got was only til 12.30pm, never once had 1 or 2pm check-out - Could be due to high occupancy. No room service but lotsa eateries around, so no complains. There's also drink vending machines and free ice machine located on certain floors. - Thumb up!

i had stay at some hotels in singapore at the same level as marrison hotel, and i think marrison hotel is stil giving the best offer to us. i dont complain about room space, since most hotels room in singapore are smalls. the reception and room service are friendly and very responsible to make the room ready. when i come arround 4pm there was no cleaning service staff (cleaning service staff not always on site), the receptionist was just run up to our room, clean it and make it ready for us, and back to lobby with smile. when we check the room, her work was as perfect as cleaning staff work!, we give thumbs up! for her :). facilities are work right: tv, hairdryer, waterboiler, wifi have very good signal, bed is comfort, towels are clean white. location : very good, very near with bugis street (bugis junction + bugis market) you can found alot of food option from burgerking, mc donald, chinese food, steamboat etc. transportation : very easy to catch a taxi, and near to mrt, i'd love to stay at marrison hotel again :) it consider modern, clean, friendly, good location for shopping and sightseeing, and cheap for it class.

My 53rd trip to Singapore since 1964 and I like to stay in the location of Bencoolen Hotel. It is now more attractive and convenient as the new train station opened on 23 Oct to enable easy travel to and from the airport. The Bencoolen station is 50m from hotel entrance. From the airport buy the ticket for $2.50 . The journey is Airport to Expo then change and Expo to Bencoolen without any other change of train.. The train operates the same in the Bencoolen to Airport schedule. Since my last stay in June there has been two new developments inear the hotel ; a restaurant and an art gallery. The Hotel Bencoolen offers reliable quality accomodation in its category. Its easy access to the river; a walk of around 10 mins and the same to Orchard Rd shopping complexes. The hotel has recently opened a new restaurant inside the hotel which serves breakfast and lunch. I have made two further bookings for later in the year.

10 mins walk to bugis mrt, 15 mins walk to bugis junction, bugis street and bugis+. Front building has a restaurant name's Hajah Maimunah Restaurant. Good food! At the back building has 7 eleven also. Staffs were so friendly expecially the manager name's Daniel. Thanks for welcoming us with a wide smile. I took classic room and it was okay for my sister and me. Take a bigger room for more space. Got bidget shower too. Hot shower needs maintenance because it didn't last long. Sound proof isn't really good also but we're okay with it. Overall it's recommended! I will definitely stay here again.

Credit to Citadines who granted us 1 bedroom apartment instead of studio executive which we booked and paid for. Special thanks for receptionist guy named Elijah who gave us warm welcome and allowing us to enter the room before the required check in time. We really appreciated for making our vacation so perfect and memorable. The room was just perfect, in terms of spacious, clean, comfortable, and equiped with home appliances that meet our needs. The location is strategic. It's easy to find food, restaurants and food district are just across the building. Walking distance to 5 MRT stations, Dhoby Ghaut, Little India, Rochor, Bencoolen, and Bras Basah. There are also convinient stores nearby, seven eleven, fair price express, and watson. There is oxidized water dispenser next to the elevator in every floor. 1 thing the management has to improve, in room 1221 the bathroom door was quite hard to close & open, its kinda stuck to the floor. Thanks Citadines, surely we'll be back again.

We booked this hotel as we were attending an Expo at the Suntec Centre for four days. This hotel was within walking distance so it was conveniently located. It was one of the least expensive options however it was probably the best budget hotel I have stayed in Singapore. It is 100% better than last years (more expensive choice) only 100 further away. The room is what you expect from Singapore, small, however it was clean, comfortable with good internet and will be booking this hotel again for next years expo. If you are aware that you are getting a budget hotel then this will not disappoint. Good job guys.

My first visit to Singapore and so did not know this hotel or any other, was very happy to stay here and would stay here again, most of my normal travel is in the middle east and in 4 and 5 star hotels, this hotel does not have the extra trappings (or charges) of a 5 star, but apart from that it could be a 5 star. The staff are all lovely and would like to mention Christie / Kirsty ( I was given two versions of her name) who works on reception - always a "good morning" to begin the day, and a few words of welcome in the evening, plus offers of umbrellas if it was raining. A lovely person, and very professional. I also appreciated Mr Hata Amin the GM sitting down with me and asking me about my stay and if there were any things that might be improved, I couldn't think of anything. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good and the choice of local or western food is a good idea, this was a nine night stay, though I did also eat out of the hotel some evenings Finally the hotel is very reasonably priced for Singapore, so, taking it all together this is my choice of hotel if I get to visit the place again, thank you to all at the Hotel Clover and I hope I get to visit you again.

HI, I had be staying in hotel Royal @ Queen a lot of time. From the moment you check in until you check out the service of the hotel is the best. They really there to help you and providing the best information to your question. The breakfast is nice too. Only 1 thing which during my very first time staying in this hotel's feedback to the hotel and until at this lastest stay ( 18 Jan 2016 ) that the hotel still never improve is having stay in this 4 star hotel they can't even provide 2 free mineral water to the room guests. The hotel must ALWAYS remember is small little refreshment will impact a great image of the hotel and happy of the guest whom travel 10 over hrs of flight to here ( singapore )which you can get 3 bottle NTUC mineral only cost 95 cents. A bit of cost but can bring back a lot guests to the hotel. please look into my suggestion. thank hope to see some changes when I am back to this hotel again,

My booking was for 4 adults in a Junior King Suite. 1. When I asked about beds, the reply online was just that they only had 1 king bed and any additional bed is charged at $100 per bed per night. In no communication was it indicated that the room’s sofa can be turned into a sofa bed as well. Even upon checking in, this was not mentioned too when asked. 2. When talking to the front office staff (this Malay lady, not sure of the name), staff was very short in her tone, unfriendly and was reluctant to serve us when she realised we had 4 adults checking in. My booking is for 4 adults, so I don’t see why there should be a reluctance, and the service was not up to the 5 star standard as she sounded unfriendly. Even when asking whether amenities were provided for all 4 person, she was very quick to say only amenities for 2 were provided and didn’t bother to ask us whether we need anymore. (For a 5 star hotel and a regular IHG hotel guest, this is quite a disappointment) — ADD ON: the communication with the hotel was that my parents will check in instead of me, I checked on breakfast for 4 pax as well as asked about additional beds which I then did not reply on whether I wanted to pay for the extra beds. I’m not sure why the staff seemed shocked that we had 4 adults although the booking was for 4 adults. If that wasn’t her intention, I’m sorry but it seemed that way to us. 3. Luckily the housekeeping staff was very helpful and assisted us in topping up the amenities as requested when we called them later from the room. (We only had 2 person’s worth of towels, bath amenities, pillows, blankets, water etc. Even if we had booked 2 adults 2 children, I would expect the hotel to be providing for all 4 guests, let alone our booking of 4 adults, forgive me if my assumption is wrong) Although we enjoyed the entire stay overall, the initial front desk check in experience was quite a disappointment to jump start the staycation. Just to share that half my family went to stay in

Well, when booked this hotel I actually didn't realize there are two Bencoolens there: the hotel and a "serviced apartments" which I luckily booked. We got a 2-bedroom (plus living room) apartment, with complete kitchen and two bathrooms. The apt is little bit shubbed and some ceiling paint would help, but all the rest is very good: spacious, clean, comfortable. The kind-of-buffet breakfast is very basic, but if you are not too spoiled you will not leave hungry. The real advantages are: very good location (the taxi stand in front of the hotel, MRT station is less than 1 min walking, main attractions are in 10-15 min waling distance), the pool (including jaccuzi and toddler's pool) and kids playground on a top of the 12th floor, nice patio on the 5th floor. My conclusion : very good accommodation for budget famiky travelers!

We requested for an early check in as we book the hotel over Agoda webpage. Nevertheless, we hit into the hotel early (about 11am) and just to try our luck if the room is ready. To our surprise, the hotel had actually take our request into consideration and there is a room ready for us despite us arriving earlier than usual check-in time. This shows how they take care of their client although it is not really a fancy 5 star hotel. The hotel is located approximately 750m from the Bugis MRT station. All along the way from Bugis MRT to the hotel, there are lots of Arabic concept shops, which is a total new experience too ( try their murtabak, its really worth for the price of $GD6.50!!). The breakfast in hotel is not that fancy, however it is sufficient for those who would love to continue your day for food adventure, the simple yet satisfying breakfast has just done its role perfectly. There is a swimming pool in level 4, a small yet decent one. There is also a few chairs by the pool side where you can hang out with your friends. Remember to bring your swimsuit along (oh yeah.. there is also a baby pool provided. )

I had stayed at the Parc Sovereign in 2015, so booked to stay there this year on the basis of my previous experience, when my wife and I recently had a holiday in Singapore. My wife was surprised to see the small size of the room but, since a hotel in Singapore is only somewhere for one to store suitcases and sleep, it wasn't a problem - if you want bigger rooms then maybe stay at the Marina Bay Sands, but then you'll have $300 or so less to spend on food and clothes shopping every day. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel - but it's so close to excellent hawker centres like Tekka Centre & Queen St, food courts at Bugis Junction and Broadway, and also very close to three MRT stations at Bugis, Little India and Rochor - that you don't need to go there if you want to sample that fantastic cheap food for which Singapore is famous. The environment of the hotel was a little shabby although the corridors were being painted while we were there. The pool was adequate, and the staff were welcoming enough and helpful if approached; when we arrived and collected our room keys, we found we were in a double room despite asking for twin beds on the booking. The room was immediately changed with no problems, and an apology from the girl in reception. Looking forward to staying there again.

This hotel is very cheap than other hotel, there have many restaurants nearby, a restaurant that I recommand name is "Steamboat" there is buffef chinese food but the taste very near thai style. This hotel near Bugis MRT station, Bugis street, shopping mall and not far to go to the interesting place. I booked standard room for 2 nights, I got fourth floor It make me happy very much because my room is very quiet and air condition is very cold. First day when I checkin their elevator is out of order but they trying to repair it as soon as they can, finally It's work in evening. I'll book here again when I have chance to go to Singapore.

Near Bus shelter 9. Near Bugis MRT station about 700m & Lavender MRT station about 600m 10. Pleasant and helpfull Staff 11. There is a tree in front of hotel (our room), so we could hearing bird twitter in the morning, always. 12. Azan (Athan) is clearly heard from Masjid Sultan, so we never left behind jamaah shalat. CONS: 1. TV Cable just a few channel, about 6 or 7 channel, no children channel 2. No Water Closed sprayer ------------- We will stay again in this hotel if went to Singapore.

Great hotel and wonderful friendly staff. We have met some trouble few days before our traveling period. However, the hotel staff try all their best to help us and provide the best service to us. Me and my friend came from 2 different countries, and only my friend will be arriving at the hotel, and she only can speak a little bit English only, however, when I write an email to the hotel, their efficiency on replying email and also arrangement to help my friend who came from Japan is just fantastic and appreciated. Never-ever thought that we have booked a very nice hotel and great staff. Hotel location just nice, friendly and helpful staff is the best, cleanliness of the hotel perfect. I asked my friend how's she going to rate the hotel for overall, without thinking, she replied me 10/10! Great hotel ever. And will return back to the hotel again. Last but not least, thank you very much to the hotel staff and also manager. We definitely will go back to stay with you again and introduce to everyone. TQ~

I wasn't expecting too much when I booked a room for me and my mom as I was only after the location of the hotel since I read from the other reviews that it's practically just a stroll away from most of the places we were planning to visit. When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised since the room is bigger compared to the usual 3 star hotels around the Bugis area. Although customer service of the staff is average which is normal in Singapore, I did enjoy the convenience plus I also love the view from our room. Despite the fact that we were just at the 3rd floor, we didn't hear any noise coming from the road. It was also great that we had so many options when it comes to food and places to go to. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

walking distance 5-7min to metro station. I didn't have to use bus to get anywhere else. The metro covered most of the attraction: marina sand bay, vivo city to sentosa, etc. Room was clean and roomy (compared to other hotel). We used to stay at B.Hotel and man, it barely has room to breath. Affordable price with great location together with good staff. It doesn't have toothpaste and toothbrush so you gotta bring your own. We don't have restaurant inside the building but just downstairs we have Malaysian/ Idian food corner. Walking 3 min, you will get to Tekka food court with Indian/Chinese/ Jap/ Korea/ all kind of food. It is good and cheap, even though the quality might not be as good as Michelin 1 star booth or Tian Tian chicken rice but it's 3min away so who cares. Overall will stay here next time until I can find a better place with the same price, and I doubt it could happen in this lifetime.

Mr Aives (the staff, sorry if your name mistaken) was very polite and helpful! The breakfast was great, the cleanliness was great, worth every cent. Just 5 min walk from Bugis Junction and the Bugis MRT. Definetly will book this hotel if i came back to singapore!! You guys should book this hotel seriously, across the hotel, there’s a Thailand restaurant, i wasnt expected at all! The foos was goooood! Should try! Next to hotel many bar and rest. Good job!!

I think you can't better hotel in Singapore at this price. Elegant and practical design for their relative spacious room (I like the shower room especially), quite at night, some cheap spa nearby, a nice indian restaurant open till late, etc. Of course it's not in the best area but considering the size of Singapore, it's still a better to spend a little more on taxi but much less on hotel. Staff are efficient and helpful, no complaint, but on my departure date there was some sort of video shooting in lobby, I was not informed so when I walked out of elevator the crew were staring right at me like I walked into a wrong place (it's c/o time what did I suppose to do ...) finally they allowed me out of the elevator to finish my c/o, but I had to drag myself and luggage out to wait for my taxi on the street because the lobby was still occupied ... By the way, want to thank the reception in their sister hotel at Sultan Street, she helped me to find the right hotel while taxi dropped me at the wrong place when I arrived.
