This hotel has been around for almost a hundred years but its original beauty and glorious past seems to be well maintained and kept up by the current management team! All rooms are furnished with the original furniture and fixtures...up to the shower head! They're all positioned such that each of them has the best view of the Xuan Huong lake below or the surrounding resort town! From the hotel, it's a short 10 or 15 minute leisure walk to Dalat central market or the French Indochina governor mansion. The service has been as good as ever and the staff try their best to make sure the guest has the most comfortable and pleasant stay possible. Staying at this hotel, you would enjoy the history that comes with it as much as the art works and all the mahogany furniture left over from the French colonial past!

we stayed at the du parc hotel in dalat for 2 nights and had a great experience. the rooms are small, but clean and very comfortable and all rooms have good views. the town isn't too far, just a 5-8 mins walk from the hotel and so are most city sights like the crazy house (hang nga), etc. there is a nice french restaurant right across (part of the same hotel group) 'cafe de la poste' which serves decent food, priced a bit higher, but good nonetheless. also a good place to wind up the long day you have travelling around is to hang out and have a few drinks at larry's bar at the neighbouring dalat palace hotel, they have happy hour until 8 pm and also a small pool table to practice your cue sport skills.

We booked two rooms in the hotel for our family. Our lake facing rooms were clean and decently equipped. There was local and international food just outside the hotel overlooking the Dalat Market. Also, transportation was a non-issue as taxi drivers were waiting outside the hotel for guests. Annoyances: Although we were late, we had to wait for a while as one of our rooms was not ready even after we were brought to the room. Despite being told that there were construction works during the morning and in afternoon, a large crane lumbered up at 11pm and started lifting heavy stuff onto the roof which we could hear. We were later told by the staff that the law only permits such works to be carried out at night! Thankfully it was for one night only. The next day, hot and cold water supply was disrupted late at night and into the morning. My room was lucky was we got the supply back before breakfast. Other guests we spoke to were not so lucky and had to bathe in cold water. Perhaps this could be due to the works being carried out on the rooftop. Tip: AVOID the hotel spa. Although cheap (D300,000-350,000 for 90mins), the place is dark and has a strange smell. It gave us the creeps. It was an oversight on our part not to check out the facilities beforehand!

I'll recommend for friends and choose this hotel for next trip to Dalat. Romance and fantastic decoration hotel. Great and helpfull staff. 150m around 7 minutes walking to Dalat Market where you can find food, shopping and coffee shops. Breakfast is good with quite wide range of food (compare with other 3 stars hotels in Vietnam). You should try Chicken rice soup & soy milk from 8-10 PM. I love lady who served our late dinner at restaurant. She's sweat, friendly as my mom :)) I recommend Bich Cau Garden coffee shop which is near Dalat Flower Garden (along Ho Xuan Huong lake). The rate there is reasonable with wide choice. They serve breakfast and lunch also. If you like BBQ, should try BBQ at 33 Hai Ba Trung (just ask taxi driver). Good rate, good food.

I have to say Tulip Hotel 3 is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Dalat except those 5-stars ones. This is a brand new hotel which located at the center of Dalat on Ba Thang Hai street, one of the main streets of Hoa Binh area where you can walk just about 5 mins to Dalat night market. The staffs were very friendly and helpful especially one middle-age woman who was very very kind as we arrived at 3:30 in the morning and she offered us a basement room for changing our clothes and resting. The room was very clean and nice as we stayed in a twin double-bed. Towels are provided and the shower was really nice with high pressure and hot water. The room also has a lovely backyard whose walls looked very vintage and was a good place for some photoshooting too. However, the wall is not very well proofed so we woke up many times as people walked in their room and we felt like they walked in ours. Furthermore, the elevator is just next to our room so it was very noisy.

This is our second stay at the Saigon Dalat Hotel. It's very clean and located just outside the downtown area (not too close - not too far). The room are a nice size and the beds are very comfortable (huge plus). There's free in-room wi-fi which is excellent. Here are the only negative things I would say about this hotel. 1. During our stay, the hotel was booked with an office party. Many of these guest were non 4-star guests. Meaning, there was drunk yelling in the hallways, banging on the doors in the middle of the night, slamming of the doors all day/night. I understand that this does not directly reflect the hotel - but they made no effort to curb this activity either. Like I said, these people are not 4-star qualified as they're not mindfull of others around them. I paid for a nice and quite hotel - but what I got a lot of noisy drunk people. 2. The food was just okay and was boring. Very little change up in the day-to-day offering. Some items are not fresh, and are put away only to be presented the next day. The omlette station and fresh soup station on the other hand are great. The fruit is freshly prepared every day. 3. The servers seems unhappy. When I was there 2 years ago, I recall the servers and restaurant personnel being much friendlier. I don't think a single person cracked a smile. It would be nice to feel as if you're welcome. 4. Out bathtub drained slowly - leaving us to shower in ankle deep in water every morning. I reported it several times - no action was taken. Again, not on par of a 4-star hotel. 5. Out room key became deactivated every couple of days. They had no answer as to why this happened, only that there was a "glitch." We were only inconvienced a few times - but again - not on par with a 4-star hotel. All-in-all we like this hotel. The front staff are nice. We would consider staying here again - but may check out another 4-star hotel to just to compare.

I was able to book this property through Agoda promotions & AgodaCash, so I didn’t pay the full price. I had some issues with my door lock, but staff have been very helpful and promptly addressed the situation. There’s an indoor swimming pool, a gym and a beautiful garden. If you’re going to pay the full price, it’s a little more expensive than the average local hotel or guest house, but still affordable for western standards. Definitely recommended!

Pros: Room Huge, comfortable, clean bed. Huge bathroom with a rainfall shower with constant hot water. Huge balcony with an unbelievable view. Fridge was brand new. WiFi was perfect. The cleaning staff are great. Location So close to everything. There's an amazing cafe across the street. A burger restaurant 2 doors down (Oz burgers) that has cheap and great quality Western food and cheap beers. Cons: (not many) The electronic door lock is loud and the sound of other people's locks is loud enough to wake you. The elevator is a little slow. That's it... The hotel is great. Try get a room on the 6th floor. The room was little overpriced but still worth the money all things considered I suppose. We stayed in 602 and from what I can tell it was the best room in the place.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and enjoyed it a lot. The receptionist speak good English, always ready to help us with a warm smile. We booked a day city tour (10% off) and our bus tickets from Dalat to Mui Ne and the prices were reasonable. The location is very good: opposite to the hotel is a nice bakery where we bought delicious bread, the local market, esp the night market, Xuan Huong Lake are nearby. We walked to the crazy house and the Carhdral one day, Domaine of Maria Church (a very lovely for take photos). The room is clean and comfortable. One more thing, the hotel does not offer breakfast. Will sure come back.

This has to be the best bargain in Dalat,anywhere in the world this hotel would be classified as a 4 star hotel the only drawback is no swimming pool but as Dalat is a much cooler climate it's pie in the sky wishing anyway.The staff were enthusiastic and actually looked like thay enjoyed what they do with smiles all round and nothing a problemThe room quality was excellent and the buffet was brilliant.probably the best value hotel in Vietnam.

The stay was good.The room was good.The location is a walk from the markets, shops and restaurants. If you go to Google earth this place is right near Crazy House and Summer Palace well worth the visit. You are right away from all the street noises.There is no pool there but being Dalat the temperature changes quickly from hot to cold. I can't comment on the restaurant as I never had dinner there.Breakfast was good. I had a good stay here.

The hotel is slightly off the beaten track allowing for a quiet and peaceful stay yet within walking distance to many attractions. The staff are extremely helpful and have tried their hardest to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We met many locals who were extremely friendly and offered us many local food and drinks, so much I ended up pretty drunk. The rooms are even higher quality than more expensive local hotels so the value for money is unbeatable. I have stopped in several places in Da Lat from budget to high end and this was as cheap as the budget hostels and higher quality than the high end hotels. I cannot recommend highly enough we have already decided to stop another night on our way back through Da Lat

I booked a VIP room and really satisfied with all facilities here, bedroom, bathroom, classic closet, cupboard, except the mat with horrible smell, like someone pissed on that. Staff is nice and 1 of the 2 receptionists is super cute, she smiled all the time. Price is reasonable, VIP room is just like the screen-shots, I came at 7 AM and requested an early-booking but the extra fee just cost 120k VND. Motorbikes for hire belong to the hotel, pretty handy. Just 1 complaint is there's no breakfast option when booking since the hotel has no kitchen, luckily there're a few roadside restaurants and Lien Hoa bakery nearby.

Pros: The hotel is clean and well decorated. Staffs are friendly and attentive. The first night when I arrived Dalat, it was raining and cold. I was craving for a hot drink but there was only instant coffee available in the room. So I asked the reception for a hot cup of soya milk. They brought me my drink within a few minutes, and it was free of charge. Such a nice gesture. Cons: The hotel is not far away from Night Market and Xuan Huong lake, but location is little bit off street. Well hey, if you do not mind, I think there is no problem with taking a taxi. And FYI, Standard Room is on the lower floor. It would be nicer if they provide guest a pair of slippers because the floor is cold. Even though the room was a bit cold, they provided a very comfy bed and super warm blanket and also a mosquito net for extra protection at night. P.s. I’d definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Dalat, but perhaps I’d prefer a Superior Room on the higher floor with a balcony.

We booked 3 rooms with windows views but the hotel were not able to put us all on the same floor. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay. The view from the window is good. But people in Dalat starts their day very early so it can be a little noisy in the morning from the traffic but it didn't bother us as we think it part of the charms of Dalat. There's no restaurant in the hotel but getting food isn't a problem as there are many good eateries around the hotel. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Communication wasn't a problem.

Our family spent 2 nights at this hotel. We were 4 adults and a 2-year old daughter. I booked 1 deluxe room with double bed and 1 deluxe room with twin bed. But this hotel provided us both 2 rooms with single bed. The bed was 1.4 x 2 m So It was rather small for 2 adult. Regarding anything else, It was good and valued for your money. And pleases note that this hotel does not have car park with roof. When I checked out, I paid the extra fee for mini bar uses. I gave the recipient the 50,000 VND bill. And she supposed to give me the 10,000 VND change. But she did not. She said that she had not have the 10,000 VND bill. So she deny to give me the change. It was a small fee. But I was not comfortable with her answer. Next time I would not stay at this hotel.

i got a huge room with a great view of the lake for only $28 on agoda. the room was nicely appointed, the staff is friendly and helpful, and speaks english very well. the hotel is scrupulously clean and very secure. breakfast was so-so, but that's not a big deal -- they usually are in "breakfast included" hotels. actually, it was a little better than usual. the location couldn't be better, walking distance to the lake, the markets, the crazy house and royal palace. the real kicker for me was that the staff noticed that i was traveling alone on my birthday. not only did they sing "happy birthday" when i went up to the front desk, but they also put roses and a card in my room. maybe this is standard practice at best western hotels, but i was impressed -- it's the kind of thoughtfulness that raises a hotel to the very top level. i enthusiastically recommend this hotel, and will stay there again myself next time i'm in dalat.

My friends and I spent 2 nights at Villa Pink House and we had a present stay. Pros: - The owner's nephew who work as a receptionist was super friendly and helpful. He spoke good English and had very good service mind. He recommend a good restaurant and help us plan our day trip in Da Lat. - Good value for money. - Clean and tidy. - large and comfy bed. - Quite neighborhood, away from street noise. Cons: - A bit out of town, it took around 10 mins walk to the city center - They don't provide soap and shampoo. There are only towels in our restroom. - They should be more aware of facility's maintenance. The clock was dead and the phone in our room is broken. Highly recommended for a budget travelers who looking for a valuable place to stay in Da Lat

A relatively small boutique hotel. Very well positioned and closed to the centre of town including the night markets.We had the deluxe room upstairs overlooking the lake. Large and very comfortable. Our friends had a standard room also upstairs next to us which was a little smaller. Both were very clean. The hotel had free internet(a single computer). We would happily stay there again. I have been told the ground floor is not as good but as we did not stay there I cannot confirm this. Also privacy in some of the rooms could be an issue for some as the main windows overlook the access balcony that guests use to get to their rooms.

Dreams Hotel is excellent value: the bed was comfortable like a 5-star hotel’s, great hot water and good pressure, clean and well-appointed. Our room was streetside but the windows were very good at blocking street noise. The breakfasts were the best we had in Vietnam, an incredible spread of choices, and there’s a jacuzzi on the top floor available to guests in the late afternoon. Best of all was the lovely woman who manages/owns the hotel — when we checked in on Jan. 2nd I showed her a photo of a Vietnamese dish I’d found online that is made with black-eyed peas. It’s one of my family’s traditions to eat black-eyed peas in the new year, for good luck, and I was hoping to find the dish somewhere. The manager (Yum? Dung?) looked in her regular shop for it but no luck. She sent someone to the market to find it — no luck. Finally she called her sister, who somehow located it and got it to us at Dreams.... all unknown to me until I asked! And she wouldn’t accept any money. ❤️

No AC or dual AC for hot and cold. 2 medium size beds, we had to sleep one small bed not a comfortable sleep. This is a guest house with hair saloon,hair products smelling. They hold the passport till check out.For double bed room they should give one king size bed. We book city view room initially refused saying that no rooms later when we demanded city view room provided.

My fiance and I stayed at Pho Nui hotel for 1 night. When we arrived in Dalat, it was still early for check in, so we left our luggages with the receptionists and took a walk around the area. The hotel was very close to DaLat market and Xuan Huong lake, where we could find many local restaurants and coffee shops. We got a room on the 5th floor of Pho Nui hotel. Overall, the room was clean and had all the basic amenities such as hair dryer, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, hot/cold water.... What we liked the most about this hotel was the receptionists and bell men. They were very friendly, polite and helpful. They helped us carry the luggage to our room and offered us cheap local tours. We did book a city tour with the hotel for $150,000vnd/person. The tour was guided by a local tour guy, not by hotel staffs. The tour started from 8:30-4 everyday. They took us to several famous places around the city such as Dinh Bao Dai, Nha tho Con Ga, Thien Vien Truc Lam, Thung Lung Tinh Yeu, Datanla fall. Overall the tour was decent, not good but worth the money since it would cost us more than $150,000vnd to go on taxi to visit those places on our own.

We stayed in the deluxe twin room (which I recommend over their standard rooms) for 5 nights. Ms. Hang, the manager was very professional and organized, she arranged our super early check-in at 4:30am and let us stay in a different room until our room become available for free...really appreciated! She also quickly provided us with some things we asked for in the room such as an electronic kettle. The twin room we stayed had a fridge but no table and chairs like the pictures showed, personally I would have liked them instead of a big closet. The breakfast was almost the same everyday but had an amazing variety so we enjoyed it every morning. Ms. Hang also arranged a taxi for us at a reasonable price to the airport (160k dong which seemed much better than metered one). The hotel was very clean and we had a pleasant stay.
