Stayed 3 nights in April. Arrived at Mactan, Cebu airport and took a metered cab to hotel costing about 200 Peso. Room was huge and beds were comfy. There was cable tv, bath tub and safe avail inside. Got a room on the 6th floor therefore not much view to see though. Also the aircon was a individual unit and not centralised thus allowing to control your own temperatures. Nice Swimming pool was located at the 3rd floor and there was a sauna attached in the toilet. However, sadly even during the afternoon from 12-2pm there was no sunlight and couldnt get a tanned. Breakfast has a reasonable variety of food of both international and asian fare. However, no live station around thus unable to choose your type of eggs. Only scramble was available. Location wise is perfect. Just across the road is Ayala Center and also a chimney bus interchange. Otherwise is a short 5-10 mins taxi ride to SM Mall, IT mall, Mango Sq and Waterfront Casino. However, the nearest 7-11 is about a good 10mins walk away One point to note is the hotel policy of not allowing you to joint two singles bed together (if you are thinking of saving money to book that instead ) as they can charge you 2000 peso for doing that. However, Front desk staffs were patient and at no point did they lost their cool trying their best to explain this policy to me and their best to help even though i felt that this was a ridiculous policy. Overall, 4 star hotel 3 star price. Will definetly return to stay 😃

The hotel is very accesible in most places like going to the malls to shop,taking a day tour to Bohol Island and go swimming in the beach in diff beaches in Mactan Island and very near in stores for buying pasalubong like otap,dried mangoes and dried fish like danggit and dried pusit. The prices is very cheap. The food is superb like lechon cebu.It is very delicious. You can eat it without any sauce on it.I you will eat outside the hotel you can eat in AA inihaw na isda and barbeque restaurant and Jo's chicken inasal. Go to LOft at night and hang up there besides there's a lot of places to go at night.You can try go to TOP and bring some food and drinks to eat there and so romantic to stay there. The staffs from the hotel are very accomodating and very friendly. The most I enjoyed is the casino within a hotel. I stayed there the whole night to play. In addition there is a duty free shop within the hotel to shop. Whenever i go to Cebu im always prefer Water Front Cebu HOtel.

Quest Hotel is probably the best hotel that we have stayed in Cebu. We have been to many, and this is probably the best one. Staff are super courteous and helpful. They make you feel really special. They can also speak a very good quality of English. Check-in is fast no matter how long the queue. Staff make sure that everyone is attended to. Check-out is a bit slow though. Had to queue for ages in the morning. Food is excellent and at a reasonable price. The only place we would eat non-Filipino (aka International) cuisine is at this hotel. They got everything right. Probably the best chefs in Cebu. They also sold fresh bread every morning and my little son loved the pan de sal! We have stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and we had a very very good stay. I think their Deluxe room was better than their Premium Deluxe though. The downside is the terrace. It is covered with a wall that is too high up that you don't see anything when you're seated. And the rooms seem to be smaller in the Premium Deluxe. The parking space is very good too. Super spacious and quite clean. The location is also very central, that if you needed anything or wanted to eat out, you just cross the road and you've got Ayala Center! Another downside is that housekeeping sometimes forget to replace the towels (we didnt have towels a few times when we got into our room), or shower caps, etc. Minor issues. I think housekeeping needs better training. We are very very happy that we stayed here. We would stay again the next time we come back to Cebu.

I was so pleased to learn that this hotel is just right across the My Bus Terminal in SM City Cebu. My Bus is your cheapest way to and fro the airport and SM Seaside Cebu! It is located near some of the attractions in the metro. There’s 7-11 beside the lobby and two ATM terminals. Staff are friendly, the room we stayed in the 8th floor is Superior Room and it’s spacious and clean. The bathroom is big enough, I liked that the shampoo, body and hand wash are all mounted on the wall as I prefer that than the regular toiletries provided by some hotels. There’s hair dyer, yey! The aircon is sufficient, the bed is very comfy that I had good night sleep for two nights! I booked my room with free breakfast so the buffet is pretty much good enough for me. I don’t have anything to complain about the foods except that beef dish they served on my first day of breakfast buffet is too hard to chew! For the not so good part, I wish they also provide other toiletries like cotton buds and shower cap. The fridge doesn’t work -it doesn’t get cold. There are limited tv channels. Café Breeze where the buffet is, is small and cramped. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel and will definitely book this again if I ever visit Cebu another time!

I have stayed at Cebu Parklane several times now. I have also stayed in The Waterfront Lahug and other Cebu hotels such as Century Park Plaza. However, the Parklane remains my favourite as it gets the balance right between value for money and comfort. The hotel is friendly. The restaurant is very good. The included buffet breakfast is excellent with wide variety of foods from sushi to omelettes There is something here for all nationalities. Cold cuts for Europeans, traditional Japanese, Filipino and western breakfasts are all catered for. The rooms are spacious and clean. there have been some room renovations and this has served to update the decor and comfort. Ayala Mall is across 2 roads, within walking distance and there is a multitude of shops, restaurants and night spots within. This hotel is in the City so its not a resort or a place where you can lounge by the beach But its located in the newer part of the CBD and, there is much night life nearby. Its also a good location if you are doing business in Cebu.

Better than all the budget hotels I have tried before in Cebu. Newish hotel 100 meters from Fuentes Cirkle and Robinson's Mall. Happy,helpful, smiling young staff. nothing is too much trouble. Great little cafeteria. Set menu breakfast 9-10 choices , HUGE portions , cooked to order. BEST brewed coffee in Cebu. Very clean rooms , not noisy aircon. Free bottled water. Well done Pillows Hotel, keep up the good work and standards. We will be back when in Cebu. ALSO , offers very early breakfast for those catching an early flight from Mactan airport . Serving from 01.30-05.30 BRILLIANT!!!

I have been coming here to the 'Montebello Villa' Hotel for eight years. I come once or twice a year and always stay here. There are other hotels in Cebu in the same price range, but this is the best value for your money. They have been remodeling the hotel bit by bit, and the improvements are outstanding. The hotel is located in Banilad - Apas area, across the boulevard from UC Cebu behind a small mall. The mall is very convenient within walking distance. The staff here at the Montebello are outstanding and sometimes they accept interns from the HRM program at UC. The hotel has beautiful gardens, a number of pools a beauriful terrace ans resturant poolside. I can only give them 5 stars, I wish there were 6 available. JoeKanoguy

Price: we could not believe what we saved by staying here. A well known chain hotel nearby charges twice what we paid at the Elizabeth and, having stayed there 3 months prior, we believe the Elizabeth to be the best value. The staff is outstanding! From greeting you every time when opening the doors for you to adding extra coffee in the room. Room features: very spacious room with additional furnishings, mini fridge for personal use, oversized bath, numerous bath amenities, full set of towels for 2, very comfortable king bed, A/C and heating system that is whisper quiet, large windows for plenty of daylight. The cleaning staff is very good at their job too. Everyone there is very pleasant and happy to serve you. They even clean and mop the brick driveway throughout the day! They will happily go to the street and hail a taxi for you or, if you prefer, they will call a private car to assist in your travels. The staff is outstanding! We used the restaurant only for the breakfast buffet which seemed acceptable to most, but I found few American dishes available on a daily basis though they did change some selections each day. I was accepting of this since they cater to many different cultures that travel to their city and it would be impossible to satisfy everyone every day. Also, it gave me the opportunity to try the local dishes. The bar has knowledgeable staff that know how to make drinks properly. The Hotel Elizabeth is also within a 2 block walking distance to the well known, super clean Ayala Mall. The mall is huge, with outdoor gardens and many restaurants to choose from. I personally give this place a 5 star rating for their overall cleanliness and willingness to make everyone happy. We liked it so much, that we cancelled another leg of our trip to go back to the Elizabeth to enjoy the last 4 days of our journey in a very relaxing environment. I have stayed in many hotels in Cebu, and will more than likely stay here or in Cebu Grand Hotel also booked through Agoda when u look at value, quality, and cost. Yes there are many other good hotels, but not for the price. CLOSE to EVERYTHING! Connected to mall which has groceries and great prices on top floor! Located on the main square / round about so you have many activities there that are very safe to walk to even at night. I would suggest paying the little extra for the deluxe room to get the best view. The hotel is also connected to Cebu Pacific Air office which is excellent convenience...also walking distance to perhaps the best hospital in Cebu as well as at least 2 pharmacies. The restaurant was sufficient and you have plenty of options at the connected mall if you prefer.

we enjoyed our stay at the house of cebu hotel, very nice and spacious room, linens are very clean, room design is unique. the hotel swimming pool is also very nice, very clean and just enough to take a lap or two. dining area is very nice, designs are really unique, food is good. the only thing lacking in this hotel is there's no refrigerator in the room. however, the hotel staff are quick enough to serve if you request for water or juice. as to the food choices, they have limited choices. there's no filipino food in their menu. considering that the name of the hotel is "house of cebu," the hotel should carry some popular cebuano recipes or any filipino recipe. but overall, the hotel is really good. i will stay again in this hotel.

Much to say, but will keep it concise. Overall a good value. Staff was great. Room surprisingly small for a superior double. No dresser or shelves....closet is ok with typical 4 hangers....(Philippine tradition?). Refrigerator was welcome sight even if missing a leg to keep stable. This would be very ok room for a single, but a bit cramped for a double. The bathroom is western style and I love that the hot water in the shower was consistant, although not much force. The breakfast was very good. Buffet style made it easier than most hotels I have stayed at in Cebu. Hotel is close to most shopping you will need (7/11 attached) and a three block walk to the SM Mall....but wear a mask and be careful crossing the streets. There is a laundry (expensive) and a gym (small but adequate) there, but they are both separate businesses.....you can pay for the gym on a daily basis...about 2.00 USD.

Wonderful staff, courteous and welcoming, always wearing smiles. A wonderful and respectful staff to go with beautiful accommodations. They serve good food. Best bang for your buck. Gets two thumbs up from me for their great accommodations. Great quality service for the money. The Hotel is well placed. It is near three of the biggest shopping centers in Cebu, SM City Cebu, Ayala, and I.T. Park. A nice hotel indeed. Good quality hotel for the money. A hotel worth considering if staying in Cebu at a budget.

The Red Planet seems to be a very nice chain. This is a no frills hotel, but everything that a traveler needs. The room was CLEAN. It had a western style bathroom. The staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. This was a GREAT value. The Cebu hotel is almost next door from Ayala mall and a short taxi ride from Mango Square. An excellent location. Whenever I have the opportunity again, I will stay at a Red Planet.

My hotel experience was generally great. The room was spacious and clean. The personnel were professional and very accommodating. The hotel location is perfect if you're visiting Cebu City for vacation. The hotel is a spitting distance to malls, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, fastfood chains, massage spas and almost everything. My room was so conducive for sleeping and I could hardly hear the noise outside. I enjoyed my early morning jog at the Fuente Circle just accross the hotel and the very satisfying buffet breakfast of the hotel. LOL. The hotel rate I got thru Agoda was too cheap compared to the satisfaction I had. Well, despite the old facilities, still, I would prefer this hotel over the other 2 hotels I stayed at during my 4-day vacatiom here. I should had booked in Rajah Park during my entire stay. Nextime, this year for sure.

We often choose this hotel for our stay in Cebu and it is always a rewarding experience. The Reception staff are friendly, efficient, and accommodating to requests. Check-in is always accomplished quickly and, unlike some other Cebu hotels, rooms are available without a wait. When unable to access cable TV, a call to guest services produced a technician in under five minutes to correct the situation. The King bed was quite comfortable, the room and bath were perfectly clean and the city and harbor view from the room was great. The only downside is the distance from downtown and malls, but there is a free shuttle and taxis are readily available. Food was fine and check-out was just as fast and pleasant as check-in.

It's one of my favorite places in cebu . Hotel is new and staff is nice and kind . Very fast responding on problems . Breakfast was nice and it was plenty of food always avalibale . I missed just more western food - but all in all breakfast was great - no complains ! The pool area and the gym area is great aswell . Internet wasnt so fast for business purposes - but it was ok since i had my own router with - and i didnt used hotels WIFI . Buiness and standard room are good - business room is bigger and more nice equipted . Will go again back to LEX CEBU !

we booked ABC for the one night only as we flew to Cataclan the day after. The hotel is located in Cebu City, about 30mins drive with litle traffic (make sure to plan your return trip to the airport carefully however, traffic can be awful depending on the time of the day). Rooms were big, equipped with TV, electronic safe, plenty of plug sockets, lights, bathroom was decent size with decent shower, towels and toiletries provided. Wi-Fi signal and speed in room was fine. if I had to come back to Cebu I would definitely stay here again.

I booked a two night's stay here (double room w/ ensuite), breakfast included. A reasonable rate for Cebu, and worth it since I booked on such short notice. Despite the name, Express Inn is less of an inn and more of a hotel. The helpful staff tells me they have only been open for less than a year, so everything was pleasantly new and very clean. My room was reasonably spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom even had a rainshower head. It is a budget hotel though, and it comes with the usual cons like having really small and cheap toiletries, and you had to hang a sign on the door of your room if you want to have it cleaned, otherwise the housekeeping wouldn't bother. Nevertheless, I'm glad a lot of comfortable and efficient budget hotels like this are becoming more popular, and Express Inn is no exception. Plus, the location was good, near a lot of cheap eateries and a walkable distance from SM. All in all, a highly recommended stay for the budget-conscious traveler.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 adults and 2 kids. The rooms could be adjoining with door between which is perfect for family to be together. Rooms big, modern, clean and gives feel of a 5 star. The buffet breakfast had a good selection with nice dining area. The whole vibe and look was impressive especially for the price we paid. Some of bonuses of hotel was the little pool great for the kids, the free shuttle to mall which is close by and the staff made the trip very pleasant. Recommendations: the air con a bit noisy and wifi wasnt that strong in the room. Overall it was the best hotel we had stayed in while in Philippines. We will use this hotel again when in cebu.

Cebu Grand Hotel is situated near the center of Cebu and is within walking distance to the Fuente Osmena circle. Rather dated hotel which needs renovation, the rooms are spacious and have proper amenities for a comfortable stay. The front desk and room staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Taxis van be ordered easily for transport to the Ayala Center Mall and the SM mall. A most attractive feature is the reasonble price in comparison to most Cebu hotels.

While browsing thru the Cebu Hotels, we chanced upon Harold's and saw that it was on a very good rate. Immediately read the reviews and most of them rated the hotel really well. Upon arrival, I immediately asked the front office staff when they started operations. I learned that they're just over a year. The hotel lobby was nice and pleasant. Not grand and imposing.I liked the dining area. The lighting and decor were perfect. Our room was quite perfect. Size, feel, and the sheets were great. Had a very pleasant stay here. The service is impeccable. I really commend the staff ! Although there was no Wifi in the room, they did provide free broadband. And the lobby had really fast and efficient wifi. Breakfast time was relaxing and a really good time to check your emails. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip !

What I loved: 1. PRICE! (I mean omg are you insane? It's like hostel/backpackers/pension house price for a hotel) 2. Wi-Fi - if you stay in Cebu a while you'll realize that fast and reliable internet is very rare in budget hotels. (even in expensive ones) Here it was fast AND reliable. 3. Location - lots of options in the area and short uber anywhere else (or jeep or taxi) Note: it's at the end of a street and newer so Uber or grab is your best bet to make sure the drivers find it) 4. Rooms- tiny for the cheapest ones, but bed is comfy for just sleeping and winding down. Bathroom is good sized with hot water and basics. TV is available and a bit of storage. 5. Free breakfast - for what you pay, anything other than a room is a bonus now. But breakfast is good, several Filipino options and a few american (to those complaining it's limited- it's FREE breakfast at a budget hotel... If you want better food, venture outside for some restaurants or stay at Best Western for 5k a night and buffet) 6. Restaurant area- I didn't eat much at the resto and when I did it wasn't anything special. But the area was great for working. If you are on a business was trip, it is nice to have. 7. Parking- available first come,first served. If you need it, it's there. CONS: As people have said, on the back side rooms there is rampant rooster activity. This never bothered me as I was usually too tired when I got back to sleep. Be prepared, bring earplugs or noise cancelling. They can be very annoying. During my stay, the hallways were fairly quiet but it seems there is a potential to be loud in the peak seasons if more guests are in the hallway talking. Again, bring noise protection! Trust me, you'll need it even if you stay other places usually. Rooster and traffic noises are everywhere. If you temper your expectations, this hotel really is a great little gem. I'm glad I listened to the positive reviews and tried them out. I will be back here now every time I go to Cebu.

Had to leave another hotel after sign in at 2:00 pm , searched online looking for better( much higher reviews) and read many not just 1-2 ( this time ) , found Cebu Hotel Plus , thank youuuuuuu ! Really liked our stay , very clean , really great staff (had only a few channels, so i asked if anything was wrong ,3-4 people showed up, later that night had many , many channels) we had had a great view of the mountains , buffet breakfast (they started only a month ago )really good .Will return whenever i'm in the area. Thank you again , the aircons really work well .

To start with, the entire staff at S Hotel treats you in the manner of a 5 star Hotel. They are very agreeable, attentive and kind. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the security personnel, to Housekeeping. One of the housekeeping staff named Helbert made a beautiful heart from towels on me and my fiance's bed; he decorated it with our pictures and made us feel very special. This is just another example of the kind and personal treatment you receive at this fine Hotel.The bed is king size and very comfortable. The aircon is ice cold. The linens are white and clean, the comforter is cozy. The room smells and feels like new. The bathroom is immaculate. The neighborhood is nice and there are two great barbecue restaurants, several bakery's and a 7-11 nearby. In short the stay couldn't be any better and I was made to feel like a welcome guest. I have stayed here at S Hotel many times and I always feel like I am staying at my second home. I have also stayed at luxury hotels both here in Cebu City and abroad, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, I have never received better treatment and had a more comfortable stay than I have at S hotel. Sarrosa International Hotel is one of the best hotel for us. The place and rooms are very neat. The housekeeping always clean our room and of course, their staff and their guards always greeted us whenever we leave and came back in the hotel. I felt like home because it is very comfortable to stay in Sarrosa. On our last day, we've tried their breakfast buffet. I just notice that they serve common foods, I suggest that they should try to serve some Cebu's Dishes such as Danggit, Bolinao and etc. We would like to thank Sarrosa Hotel for your very warm treatment to us and hope we can visit again Cebu City.

All of things inside the hotel are fantastic. Location: Good, it's just around south part of Cebu City, near to SM Cebu City, Robinsons Galleria and SM Seaside. Rates: It's somehow pricey since it's just a regular room, nothing special. Security: They have 24/7 security. CCTV equipment are installed. They also have parking at the basement. Internet Connectivity: No issue with their wireless connection. It's fast and stable. Other amenities: They have laundry service that needs 3 KG minimum for 90Pesos. So even the weight of your laundry is just half kilo, it will still cost 90Pesos. Then another 100Pesos if you want to have your clothes pressed. The only thing that I don't like in my stay is the shower. It's already rusty and the shower head drips intermittently. But over all, it's a 8.5/10 for me :)
