Location is very good. Less than 10 minutes walking distance from railway station, shopping malls (e.g.: Robinson, ODEAN, Lee Gardens, Central) and restaurants (e.g.: Kan Eng Restaurant for reasonable price tasty Thai food). Front desk staff can understand English and can speak fluent English and they were very friendly. Prompt feedback through e-mail before our departure to Hat Yai to confirm room booking status and to inform our arrival time. We were able to check-in at around 12pm probably due to we informed them prior to arrival. Prompt check-ins process. Room decoration and design is simple but its clean, comfortable and spacious. Hair dryer is provided in room. Soundproof of the room is good although occasionally you may be able to hear people walking and talking around corridor. But overall it's very quiet at night as no bar, pub, karaoke, night club along the street. Only shampoo is provided as toiletries. It would be better if can provide more toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, bathroom shoes, etc. No complimentary mineral water is provided. No breakfast is provided but you can walk around or take tuk-tuk to any nearby food stall or restaurant. We stayed for 3D2N, on second day, we were unable to connect to internet through Wi-fi in our room but able to connect at lobby. Overall value for money. Will definitely come back if happen to visit Hat Yai city again.

- Location superb! Got many halal Food in Hotel area. - easy to get tuk tuk, but I recommend to use Grab tuktuk. -The room was very clean and nice - So many channel on the tv and the signal very clear. -The bed very good. - Spacious room - I book 6 room in Agoda (2 Double bed and 4 Twin Bed), come in Hotel at 12:30pm. The staff said if still want Double Bed, i will get different floor with the others and only available check in 2 pm. So just agree all Twin Bed and check in earlier. I am ok with that. no problem. - The staff are so efficient and prompt action. All the check in and check out process running smooth. Very good! - will stay here again if come to Hat Yai. - Toilet very clean.

I was there for 6 nights, after first night I need too changed rooms,,too noisy for me I am a light sleeper haha,,it was all done within 10 minutes,,every day room was cleaned.. High stander,,in room safe does not work,so use safe in reception very easy an securi,,Wifi fast no problem in room or lobby,,next time in hat yai I will stay in this hotel,,,All the staff did there work in a professional manner.

The front office clerks was kind and respectful. The place was abit far to the lee garden area. But it is hat yai so everywhere is close plus there is grab. There is no breakfast but there is a lounge where you can serve yourself a cereal,toast,juices,teas,snacks and etc. The lounge have different type os food/snacks on a different time. We book the family suite and the toilet bowl was fantastic. It was quite big balcony. The TV Channel were perfect. There was hot water,mineral water,towels,fridge. It was clean. I think its the best hotel hat yai can offer. As other hotels in hat yai are pretty creppy,old,dark and dirty. This was the best. Hence i totally recommend. It was a lovely stay. Thank you.

We arrived by train from Malaysia early in the morning and the hotel receptionist very kindly allowed us to check in. She also drew a map for us to the best Thai beef noodle shop near our hotel. We followed her simple map, made a few wrong turns, asked a few local stall holders and shop keepers and eventually found the famous Thai beef noodles in a corner shop opposite the BP Grand Tower hotel ! What a treat for us, it was the best beef noodles dish we had ever tasted in Thailand. We went back to eat the same beef noodles every afternoon during our time in Hat Yai. The hotel breakfasts were surprisingly good, we particularly liked the American breakfast. All in all, we had a VERY NICE stay at the Golden Crown Plaza Hotel. We will definitely stay in this hotel again in August when we travel to Hat Yai for another holiday.

The Train Hotel is located directly inside Hat Yai Railway Station and is convenient for those traveling by rail. It is also very near to the city centre, approx. 5 mins walk to Lee Garden and the markets. Robinson Mall is directly in front of the station. The room is comfortable and clean, with all the basic amenities available, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Aloha Hotel is a brand new hotel well located in Hat Yai, and within walking distance to the major shopping belt & local markets, such as Lee Garden Plaza & Kim Yong Market. The hotel lobby set-up is simple and clean. We reached Aloha Hotel at about 10.30am on our first day in Hat Yai and were allowed to check in early. We were also able to have late check-out at 2pm upon request on our last day of stay. Both check-in and out procedures were swift and took not more than 5 mins each. The double bed room which we booked was found to be very clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, it is a good choice and strongly recommended.

there is nothing like a good bed to sleep in after a hard days traveling. we were so happy when we go to the v.l. hatyai hotel in hat yai. it was a measly three blocks from the hat yai train station, up a road that had perfect side walks for walking people. the reception at v.l hatyai hotel was fantastic. people were happy, smiling, and most were able to speak english. the language barrier isn’t normally an important feature for us but after a very long day in minivans, ferries, buses, songteaws and on our feet it was a lovely surprise. we had booked our night in the v.l. hatyai hotel because of tripadvisor’s reviews and through agoda, who offered a very good rate for the room without breakfast. the room alone cost just under $30 usd without breakfast. when we enquired about the breakfast it would cost us 100 baht each, a whole $3 usd each. it was a fine breakfast too. bacon and eggs, yummy bread for toast, asian savoury delights, the makings for tuna salad, coffee, tea and milo, and for breakfast-dessert, bbq’d sticky banana rice in banana leaves. mmm! as we were so tired on the night of our stay we got room service. this is not ordinary for us but when we looked at the menu in our room the prices were so reasonable we didn’t feel the need to find a street food stall! how could a room service tuna salad only cost 80 baht? unheard of in a hotel. we ordered room service, pigged out on glorious food and watched english language television all night. the only downfall the v.l. hat yai had was that you had to purchase wifi / internet. the cost was reasonable, 20 baht for 24 hours of usage. if you could get it working that is. we found that the wifi worked best down in the lobby. all in all, the v.l. hat yai was a fantastic hotel. we really do recommend you consider staying there for one or two nights on your travels. break up that marathon journey between thailand and malaysia. you won’t regret it.

Overall, I really enjoyed my two nights at Asian Hotel. It was easy for the taxi driver to find it since it located in the heart of Hat Yai. The lobby is pleasant and nicely decorated. The check-in and check-out was smooth and done efficiently. You are given the choice to leave your passport or a deposit. I chose the deposit since I'm not comfortable with leaving my passport. When I checked out I got my deposit back. The hotel is within walking distance from well-known local market, Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC, Tops Market (Centara Hotel), Sizzlers and other western restaurants. Of course, if you want to try some of the Thai or Chinese cuisine, we can find them really close by as well. You can easily find taxis/songtews in front of the hotel...but if you know your way around Hat Yai or you can speak some Thai, you can get the songtews (pick-up trucks) for 10B to Central Festival Mall (20-30 minutes ride with the stops). The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also clean...my room had a bathtub and it a great surprise. Unfortunately, the water pressure was on and off! At times, the water would go from hot to cold in a split second... The internet signal was a bit weak at times. I had to wait for a less busy time or go to the lobby for a better signal. The breakfast experience was good. Although the coffee was a little bit bitter, they have a good variety of fruits (sweet pineapples, watermelons), toast, rice, hot dogs, eggs (made to order)...it seems like it is the breakfast spot in Hat Yai. Several people were eating there (from other hotels). The following day I went early to beat the crowd... The only negative was being approached by a bellboy about a "lady companion" on my first day. On the last night, my business partner was approached (by a different bellboy) and asked if he wanted a companion. Not sure what was going on...hopefully, this type of thing is not approved by the hotel manager.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Hat Yai! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staffs. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful, the restaurant very flexible. Breakfast was served to our rooms. It deserves a special thanks & we appreaciate this. We had four great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. Note, this is not a 5-star hotel or so, but the services provided by the staffs are more than a 5-star standard. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

My needs were unusual - I was a bicycle tourer meeting another one in Hat Yai. My bike was too big to fit in the lift easily (though I could have done so as I have at many other hotels, by lifting the front wheel up) but they asked me to park it in their office where they could keep an eye on it as well. It remained safe throughout my stay. One of the Concierge was very helpful and arranged a massage and so on for us. The hotel itself is old but comfortable and clean. My only issues were that the light at the bed head was not working (old LED strip) and the shower water temperature was hard to control so I had very hot showers. Still, they were not serious issues to me and I enjoyed my stay. The location is great and near my favourite pub in Hat Yai, Post Laser Disc, and also to some other sites like markets and even the railway station.

This hotel is one of hte older hotels in Hat Yai however it has a good locastion. The rooms are larger with clean bedding . The front desk staff are friendly and efficient processing check in and check out with speed and with a smile. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would recommend this hotel for people wishing to stay in a room bigger than a shoe box with good facilities.

A little far from hat yai town center, is on south edge, but just 3 minutes' walk to Sakura Hotel for great massages and buffet breakfast. You can enter hotel/lobby from the back through the carpark or front. As you exit from the hotel's front entrance, walk left and turn left around the corner, walk straight ahead (towards the city center), you will pass a few street foods and eating shops all along the right opposite side of the road. You will find delicious and non-tourist priced thai food - noodles, mixed rice, and dim-sum. You must try the famous one that has the best wantan noodles and chicken/duck/pork rice - it is behind the Hatyai Rama hotel, as you walk straight towards Sakura Hotel, just before the opposite of the hotel on the right, in a small lane (left side of the lane).

After staying at several well know hotels in Hat Yai, found this hotel and have enjoyed the stay. Feels like it is just getting started after renovation. Staff small but efficient and friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean and comfortable. Bed was standard for Hat Yai hotels with mattress much to hard for more than a few days. Hard to find on the internet and if we had not walked by we would not have know it was there. Room was standard hotel type and not a usual suite from most hotels. Location great for shopping in the middle of town within walking distance to major shopping areas.

Booked the last 5 "standard double with fan" rooms available for my big family. check in was smooth. parking available only for 6 or 7 cars. location is perfect. near railway station, clock tower, lee gardens plaza. room was clean and spacious! provided : wardrobe, towel rack, hangers, box TV, drinking glass, pitcher, towels and soap. cold water dispenser available at the corridor on every floor. hot water have to request from their small cafe in the lobby. not provided : toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, iron, hot shower when i entered the room, i was a bit disappointed to see the ceiling fan is too small and afraid the room will be hot. but i was wrong, the room is so cold i had to switch off the fan in the middle of the night! just one thing i don't really like, the bed was very hard. but i still sleep on it anyway because i was too tired after a very long day exploring Hat Yai. all in all, my family and i were very satisfied with Laem Thong Hotel and i will definitely book again if i go to Hat yai.

Pros: •Cheap rate compared to other hotels with same facility. •Hotel let us checked in as early as 10 am. •Though the furnitures are dated..the room, bedding & bathroom are spotlessly clean. •Walking distance to Lee Garden Plaza, Kai Tod Decha Restaurant, Salma Restaurant, Kelantan Restaurant, Kim Yong Plaza, Railway Station, Robinson Dept Store, Seven Eleven. •Bellboy name Anuar is so attentive and he can speak Malay well. •Lots of TukTuk in front of hotel/also easy to get Grab. • Free TukTuk to & from Central Festival Mall (just let Anuar know). Cons: •Staff at receptionist speak minimal English and not quite warm & welcoming. • Pillows kind of hard (rubber material) but we slept safe n sound nontheless. •Got kettle and glass in the room but no tea or coffee sachet. •Hotel keep our passport so we better have copy of our passport with us. •Elevator to level 6 only. Have to walk to get to level 7 (highest level) but it was just a couple of steps away.

Leelawadee Resort 2 located few miles away from Hatyai Town, this make it away from crowded and noisy places, it is recommended for those who want an quiet staying environment. The best advantage this resort is there is own car parking area right in-front of your room, ideal for those who drive own car to Hatyai. Inside room have fridge, tv, air-cond, but doesn't have cupboard, should add a cupboard in the room.

Located quite far from town from railway station to hotel using Grab pay around 80baht. Reception speaks NO ENGLISH AT ALL. They require deposit of 500baht. Very big room nice and comfortable king size bed but hotel is VERY QUITE. Lobby no aircond walkway hall is hot and dim. Bathroom comes with shower and bathtub. Basic amenities include comb,toothbrush and soap but no shower cap. No fridge and no coffee making facilities. Provided 2 bottled water and room facing club night got people fight at 4.30am ughhhhh. Whole hotel like haunted especially at night superrrr quite and cold 👻

For standard room is enough for fammilky with 1 baby or children under 3 years old. It is clean and comnportable. Breakfast is very nice with the big room and delicious foodlikes you stay at 4* hotel. To go to the railway station just 20 bath by TUK TUK or 0.7 USD. Special for Muslim tyraveler if you want to get lunch and dinner you go to Salina2 restaurant just say to TUK TUK driver. The food prices are fair and many food you can eat.
