I stayed in 5 hotels in Ho Chi Minh City and this one was the most fabulous one in terms of decoration, service and overall facilities. Everything is done with love for details. Free afternoon tea is served from 15:00 - 17:00. And it's not only tea, but a whole selection of tasty cakes and kind of dim sum. Breakfast is tasty as well and far above average for a 4 star hotel. There is a rooftop terrace with bar, pool, sauna and steam room. The steam room has a big window direction west, making it very special at sunset. The pools are rather small but big enough for a cool down after a city trip. Staff is very attentive and professional. Especially Dais and Max at reception. And a very big thank you to Ali, the butler at the entrance taking care of everything even before you enter the hotel. I had to box a bicycle and Ali helped me with tools and whatever was needed to do the job... and it was great fun to do it with him together :-) Number one!

Special recognition to the staff at front desk and reception, Mr Khoa, Tin, Hung, and Khoa who have displayed outstanding customer service. Always courteous, helpful, going out of their way to address my requests. The hotel can improve by adding a gym with machines for walking and running, as it is difficult to exercise by walking in traffic dense and air pollution in Ho Chi Minh city.

My partner and I stayed in Ho Chi Minh city for a night before returning home. This hotel is located in District 3/5 which I found was a great convenience as there was a shopping centre located next door and abundant restaurants nearby. I have been to Ho Chi Minh on several occasions and stayed at other 5 star hotels, however I was most impressed with Nikko for their professional, friendly staff and the room in which stayed was just lovely. On check in, we were upgraded to Club executive room due to high occupancy so that was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable (softer than most hotel beds you'll find in Vietnam. We'd spent 8 nights in Nha Trang at the Sheraton before arriving in Ho Chi Minh and for the sake of comparison, the Nikko is comparable to that. Lovely hotel - I will stay here the next time I am in Ho Chi Minh.

The Reverie is the undisputed number one hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. From checkin to checkout the entire stay was flawless and exceptional. Our room was spotlessly clean and included every amenity to make a stay relaxing. The room was cleaned twice a day, delicious chocolates each night, fresh fruit daily and complimentary mini bar. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Each staff member exuded pride in working for the Reverie. Was I able to find a fault or area for improvement? - No. Would I stay at the Reverie again? - Absolutely

It was a great place to stay in Saigon. The hotel doesnt look as a big as the one in their photo. The architecture and decorations are really beautiful and are interesting. Be careful as your toddler might break some of the articles. The jacuzzi outdoor was really cool and comes with a complimentary bikini. There is free mini bar drinks which was great to drink in a very hot weather. The location was near the Opera house and Ho Chi Minh City Hall and Shopping malls. We also loved the afternoon tea. The pool on the rooftop where my 18 months toddler enjoyed.

Outstanding customer service from Ms. Anh, one of the hotel reps in the Signature Lounge. She was super helpful in every way, arranged excellent show tickets for us for the AO performance in the Opera House which is conveniently just opposite the hotel, provided change for large denomination bills, and was generally willing to go out of her way to ensure our comfort and needs were met. The hotel is excellent in every way; we had a very comfortable and well-appointed room, the breakfast buffet is sumptuous and delicious, we enjoyed using both the swimming pool and gym, and there's even a Moet Chandon 'nook' within the lounge bar on the ground floor. The hotel's location is fantastic - we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit - and there are excellent restaurants and shops nearby. The Caravelle definitely contributed to the pleasure of our stay in Ho Chi Minh city.

We got to the hotel quite late, so weren’t so keen on traipsing around at that point for a drink. Thankfully, after a smooth check-in, we found that the rooftop bar was open till about 2am so we managed to get a couple of drinks before bed. The room is clean and quite comfortable with all the amenities you would find in a good 4 star hotel. The breakfast buffet, was a decent spread of asian and western options which will keep you going till late afternoon. There is wifi through out the hotel, but it worked best at the roof top bar so you can put off your roaming and still be connected to the rest of the world. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the service at the bar/restaurants was pretty decent. When you do go out, you might need local currency and if you haven’t had the chance to exchange it, worry not because you can do so at the reception at a very good rate. The best aspect of the hotel for me was the location. The hotel is situated in the heart of District 1 and everything is walking distance from the hotel. You can find a city map in your room or at the reception and hold onto this for your trip, it’s very useful. Ranging from 5 to 20 minutes you can reach, the Ho Chi Minh city museum, War Reunification Palace, the War Remnant Museum, Notre Dam Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the Opera House, Ben Thanh market and even the riverside for a nice evening walk. You don’t feel like eating in the hotel, there are plenty of nice restaurants spread around the hotel ranging from local vietnamese pho to exotic french cuisines. There are quite a few bars around if you do take the effort to locate them if you want a good mix of the locals and expats. I however enjoyed drinking at the rooftop bar for nothing else but the fact that I was just knackered by the end of each day and didn’t have the energy to go out drinking. Everything is reasonably priced within the hotel as well. PS: Carry a bottle of water while you're out.

Overall the stay was very satisfactory with the hotel offering a clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay whilst in Ho Chi Minh City. The location was good with easy access to the rest of the city. I was there on business and the free WiFi made my stay that much more enjoyable being able to keep on top of e-mails when travelling. The accommodation was bright and airy, well appointed and everything in good working order. The bed was super comfortable offering for a good nights sleep before attending to meetings the next day. Although, some loud music could be heard from the room facing the front of the hotel, whilst my colleague having a room facing the side/rear never hear the music. Only one criticism; there was no iron or ironing board in the room, which when called for on 3 separate occasions, wasn't available until early the next morning. The hotel could do with placing an iron and ironing board in the rooms. The restaurant could do with upgrading the selection/variety of food as, whilst being adequate, could be better, but ample and tasty nonetheless. Overall a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and certainly a hotel I will return to.

WOW, what a lucky find in Ho Chi Minh! We were so pleased to have discovered this boutique hotel while “surfing” websites for lodging options for our recent visit to Ho Chi Minh. It is truly an oasis of serenity and peace in the very busy city of Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is located in District 1, close to many areas of interest. The hotel is an architect’s dream that has become a reality! The hotel building is very well designed...there is a great restaurant and pool on the top of the building, 11th floor, with wonderful views of the skyline of HCM. The pool is a good size, allowing the opportunity to swim and/or plunge…such a wonderful option considering the heat and humidity levels. We throughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts that included both Vietnamese and European options. We also had a nice dinner at the restaurant...such a relief to stay in this oasis and not have to search for a restaurant. Our room had a very comfortable king bed with plenty of space to relax, read or watch cable stations. The bathroom was part of the room with a walkin shower and double sinks. Service was exceptional … the staff was caring, warm and professional. Everyone greeted you with a genuine smile and then an offer of help. On transportation, we recommend that you consider using "Grab" that allow you to experience driving on a scooter in traffic. The cost was very reasonable and quicker than using a car due to the traffic. My wife and I are retired, travel a lot and wish this high level of accommodations and service would be available for all of our trips. Definitely would give this hotel a 10+ star rating!!!

We stayed at the Lotte Legend Hotel from 6 September 2017 to 11 September 2017 in an executive river view room. We found the staff at the hotel very attentive and professional. They were always welcoming and would meet you with a friendly smile. The facilities and food at the executive lounge was always excellent. We have stayed at other executive (Club) rooms in many parts of the world and have always found them to be good. However, In this instance the big difference was the staff that served you. The staff and the supervisors at the executive lounge were willing to assist you with any request that you had. I like tuna sandwiches and hot fresh chili with my food and once the staff got to know about my liking, any time I visited the lounge, they would make sure that our table had an extra plate of tuna sandwiches and freshly cut red chili. Everyone who worked at the lounge seemed to love what they did, with two waiters who stood out. We had Jack who was always smiling, very attentive, polite, and willing to assist you with any request you had. Then there was Kyle, who was a consummate professional who was doing what he liked. After a day of sightseeing in the hot and humid climate that Ho Chi Ming City offers, it is refreshing to go to the executive lounge and have these wonderful personalities greet you and serve you with a smile. We will cherish the 6 nights we stayed at the hotel with fond memories of the wonderful characters that make your holiday more memorable than others. We traveled to Nha Trang and returned to the Lotte Legend Hotel on 15 September around 11 am and were presently surprised to find that they has already made a room available for us , although the checking time is normally 2 pm. We had booked a city view room for out last night in Ho Chi Minh City, but had been upgraded to a river view room. Worth for my budget with this premium 4-star hotel at the central of Ho Chi Minh City, prime location to Ben Thanh market, Pham Ngu Lao also many attractive place in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. Cleanliness is one of my impressing touch of this hotel. Room is comfortable and functional, Hot shower is quite slow. Breakfast is consumable and varies. Nice relaxing pool at the roof top with superb sky view of Saigon especially for sunset ;) Overall is impress and feel good to stay at this hotel,, will recommend :)

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Ho Chi Minh City. All staff are friendly and do not always lose expectations. Their laughter is not a pretense but a true welcome. LAN is memorized during reception staff. For breakfast, NHAT HA 3 HOTEL is by far the best. Satisfied with everything and thanks to the professionalism of our staff, I will go to this hotel again. And I recommend NHAT HA 3 HOTEL to my friends.

Visiting a city one learns many things. One being that most of the locals prefer to still call their home city of Ho Chi Minh City by its old name Sai Gon. Yes. That's another thing, "Saigon" is actually two words in Vietnamese! Another is (and confirmed by our stay there) that the Majestic Hotel is one of the city's great hotels. It is an institution and has been since 1925 and, although its original external outside appearance has altered slightly over the decades (we liked the original), it's great position and reputation for quality and service have not altered. Situated on the river it is wonderfully positioned that those lucky enough to stay here can amble to all the best shops and restaurants. Those that are not, are within a short taxi ride away. Taxis are always available out the front. We opted for a river view room which was well appointed and double-glazed to keep the traffic noise out. Air conditioner worked extremely well and the room was appointed with the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Staff was very friendly and helpful although on one occasion we did have difficulty communicating with one member of the staff. Overall, we had no problem though. Breakfasts were great. Lots to chose from and were enjoyed from the fifth floor terrace with a fabulous view overlooking the river - great way to start the day. Food did not disappoint. Even at the end of one exhausting day when we just opted for room service. Not a cheap hotel and by no means the most expensive, should you chose to stay at the Majestic you will not be disappointed.

I will highly recommend Liberty Central to all my friends visiting Ho Chi Minh City who are looking for a 4-star hotel providing much more value than its rates. Liberty Central is close to all the city sites-Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, etc., restaurants and best of all, the major shopping areas and malls. The staff was very friendly, always ready to assist and very efficient. The breakfast buffet is complete and excellent. I will always stay in Liberty Central each time I visit Ho Chi Minh City.

The rate you pay for is worth it . The location is excellent. No matter which direction you go when you walk out the hotel . You can see food and restaurants everywhere. And it is very cheap . The hotel is very clean . The room is a bit small but bear in mind the rate you pay for . You get the room with reasonable size nice and clean Superb . Housekeeping is very hardworking on cleaning my room every morning. Make the room nice tidy and clean . Superb. . All the staff are nice polite and friendly. Miss trang working at the reception is a wonderful nice girl . The girl working at the restaurant in the morning breakfast is a very hard working girl . I always watching peiple doing their job . Very polite too .. Breakfast is fantastic. Of course the chef cannot satisfy all nationalities. Therefore I don't agree with a lot of comments on the choice of breakfast . For me excellent. I been in Bangkok 4 weeks staying at 4 different hotels . Always something not satisfy when I was staying at a 4 5 star hotels . But The Luxe Hotel. Nothing to complain . Excellent at all aspects qnd value for money. I would definitely recommend all my friends in England to visit ho chi Minh city and stay at the Luxe Hotel . I would also definitely coming here again next year .Just one thing can be improve is the hot water in the shower. If it can be hotter in the morning. It would be fantastic.

For me even only 1 night stay but it's totally pleasant stay and impress. Location is the best, you could reach to almost every interesting place of District 1 with 5-10 minutes or walking distance. Many international and local restaurants surrounded, convenient store is just opposite also supermarket, main sightseeing places, business hub of Ho Chi Minh City especially Bitexco Financial Tower, etc. The hotel appearance is colonial style since 1930 but it has renovated thus it's look elegance. Room is functional and look nice especially bathroom (really love it). Cleanliness is one of my pleasant point of this hotel, almost everywhere in this hotel is clean and neat. Staff are very nice, friendly and informative. Good breakfast. Nice swimming pool in the backyard, quite relax. VINASUN Taxi stand is just the front of this hotel. So, don't worry to travel to anywhere in Ho Chi Minh City with hassle-free. It's a 5-Star hotel in HCMC that i would like to recommend :)

1) This hotel is very ideally located, it is just off a street behind Ben thanh market hence not so rowdy ( At least better than those facing the market directly) 2) Walking to Ben thanh market is only 3 mins & it's a stone's throw away to many attractions like; Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office & Golden Dragon Puppet Show Theatre (Saves a lot of cab fares). 3) Breakfast is decent with a wide spread of Western, Asian & local delights. 4) Surrounding the hotel has got plenty of choices for food ranging from Italian pizzas to halal eateries to local food stalls ( Spoilt for choices) 5) Hotel can arrange for day trip to Mekong delta, cu chi tunnel etc. with pick up directly from hotel doorstep. But be prepared to be shoved here & there by their appointed tour company as they will still go other hotels to pick up other tourists then change you from one bus to another & finally gotta squeeze in a small van for the next 4 hours of ride through & fro. ( This was what happened to me) 6) Friendly staffs & spacious room ( Luxury) makes the stay good. 7) Foot massage in the hotel was disappointing though. ( We found another one few doors away better & at the same price too) 8) I was also disappointed with Agoda's way of handling booking. I stated I want airport pick up upon arrival during my booking time but was just slapped back via a email reply from them after paying asking me to call the hotel in Vietnam directly to arrange myself! (Agoda, you guys could have done better than this!) Overall this hotel is great! Won't hesitate to recommend to our friends who visit Ho Chi Minh city.

Duc Voung hotel with its central location in District 1 is ideal for artwork/painting enthusiast as it has a number of neighboring small galleries. There are also a good number of choices of dining outlets, bars, art and crafts shops just few steps away from the hotel. Even for first timer vacationer in that part of Ho Chi Minh city's District 1, small malls like the Zen Plaza along Nguyen Trai, a local market, groceries are so conveniently accessible. Best of all, the hotel staff are so attentive and friendly. Its budget rate is best enjoyed by booking through agoda. Will love to come back and I highly recommend the hotel to other vacationers in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

It was a great experience staying at the hotel as I receive excellent service. It was above my expectations as I thought since it is a 3 star hotel, the service won't be that good but I was very much surprise and happy that I chose Silverland Central as my hotel during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City. For Muslims, Silverland Central would be a great choice as outside the hotel, there's variety of Muslim Food Restaurants thus it is easy to find Halal foods. Other than that, there's many shops selling cloth that you can tailor and they can even make Malay Baju Kurung and it is ready for collection the next day. The hotel is also near to Ben Thanh Market where you can shop and bargain at good price. Also at night, there are night markets (Pasar Malam), near Ben Thanh Market which also sell cheap stuffs and you can bargain. For those who loves photography, just go to the rooftop bar at night time to take Long Exposure of Light Trail as the traffic are always busy. You'll be amazed at how awesome your long exposure would look like. (Simply brilliant). I would definitely stay at Silverland Central Hotel for my next visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

We stayed in this hotel on two occasions i.e 12 Mar 2012 and 15 Mar 2012 to 17 Mar 2012. I would like to commend that the staff were courteous, friendly and able to converse in English. The porters were helpful and the service was good. We had requested for quiet room while booking through agoda and the hotel staff did allocated quiet rooms for us. our room number was 801 on the first night and 214 on subsequent nights. These two rooms were away from the busy street. The minor setbacks were the window of 801 facing aircon unit and 214 is facing a garden. Both the beds and air-cons were of acceptable standard. Wi-fi service was free. There is a restaurant at level 5 serving buffet at reasonable price. There were great variaty of food and we enjoyed our dinner over there. There is also another more high-class restaurant at the top floor which offer you great city and river view. The hotel is situated at the central location in District 1 where you can walk to most of the tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. For those unfamiliar with HCMC, there is no harm tring this hotel.

You would never expect such an amazing hotel in the middle of busy Ho Chi Minh. It is a great experience. The SPA that was included in our room package was really great especially after a tiring day walking and exploring around the city. The staffs were all friendly and most of them speak minimal English, which was really nice. On our day back, it suddenly started pouring and we didn't have any umbrella with us. The hotel staff were nice enough to shelter us to our taxi with their umbrella. The breakfast spread was quite little, but they had additional "menu" which you can order from, such as egg benedict and such. The beef pho was really awesome! However, the second time we had it, it wasn't as great as the day before. Hope the consistency of their food will be better. A great experience, will definitely come back to this hotel again the next time I visit Ho Chi Minh! :)

the somerset ho chi minh city serviced residence is, like the title suggests, not really a hotel. it's three apartment towers, mostly filled with expats. if you consider the price, you get a good deal: big rooms, great staff and good facilities like a large pool, a good stocked mini market, an acceptable gym, breakfast buffet and nice meals at the pool restaurant. it's location is pretty good, only 10 minutes / $1 by cab to the city center. can't really think of negatives, and would recommend it to anyone.

I've never felt so at ease and truly valued as a guest before... I had arrived in Ho Chi Minh city and at the hotel without my baggage and the staff were really helpful to go that extra mile in calling the bus company (the left my baggage behind in their Phnom Penh office) on my behalf and keeping updated on my baggage.. everyone was warm and helpful in the whole plight of my being in HCMC with no luggage, no extra clothes and nothing much other than my passport, atm cards and clothes on my back... I'm always staying in HCMC as a stopover or end point of travels in Indochina and have stayed in many hotels but this one deserves a 10 rating... The front desk staff was nice enough to extend my check out time till I got my luggage (which came at 12.30pm two days later which incidentally was the day I had my late flight out) and allowed me the extra time to check and repack my luggage in the room without chasing me out of the room even despite the hotel being fully booked up and had to adhere strictly to the check out time to accomodate their incoming guests... This shows the staff truly have compassion and heart for their guests... The room was spotless, clean, tidy, water pressure was excellent especially after the long day of running around getting my basic essentials amidst the wild goose chase for my luggage... Was really a welcome, warm, homely feel Inspite of the circumstances... Location was perfect, close to the market, convenience stores, restaurants and pretty much everything else. I'm definitely gonna stay there again and fully enjoy the facilities next time round. Considering I was preoccupied and stressed about my missing luggage. Am truly greatful to both ladies on shift at the front desk for going that extra mile (which was completely unexpected) to help enquire about my luggage status and patch me to the relevant people via telephone and helping speak to the relevant folks in Vietnamese to assist in both sides understanding. The best Value, the best Service, the best Location and the best Choice! There are many criterias one can use to select an outstanding hotel in Saigon/ Ho Chi Minh City. I was traveling with my wife and older brother, so I needed to check a lot of boxes on the list of desires for our 7 night stay. The Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa delivered beyond our expectations. Arranging pick-up from the airport via the hotel was simple and inexpensive. Just an email request to the hotel with date, time and flight number was all it took. This will be important after a long flight or arriving at some odd time. To know there is someone waiting for you that will take you to the hotel. Excellent transportation service to and from the hotel. There is also a tour service available in the hotel lobby if you wish to book sight-seeing tours with pick-up outside the hotel. The two hotel rooms that our small group used were elegant and spa like in design. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Speaking of relaxation, the roof top pool and roof top bar offer a lovely retreat. A spectacular view of the surrounding area will be appreciated with a wide angle lens on your camera. I'm not a horticulturalist, but someone on the hotel staff spends a great deal of time and energy making the hotel plants and flowers look beautiful. The aroma of the flowers is what you will remember each time you look back at your photos of them. The FREE breakfast at Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa should not be confused with a continental breakfast that you would get at some other hotel. It is a Grand breakfast with all the trimmings. From the omelet station to the fresh fruits, fresh juices, fresh pastries, fresh coffee and tea, all the way to a long list of other international breakfast foods. The breakfast reminds me of what they serve on a cruise ship. An excellent breakfast coupled with a host of friendly professional staff. First, the disadvantage of this hotel's biggest one is the 'location'. It is a very good location based on the "accessibility" with the Ho Chi Minh attractions, but it is noisy at night because it is located on De Tham street, which is crowded with clubs and nightlife. They may be sensitive to noise, older, or may not fit well with family units. It is a good hotel to choose for young people who like to play with fun. I think it is a 5 star hotel that can be met at a price of $ 40-50. The kindness of all the staff was close to perfection, so that we could forget some of the disadvantages. The room was small, but the structure was made efficient, and I was able to feel the consideration and effort using good furniture and facilities. Especially breakfast was much better than other hotel's buffet, a la carte and basic dishes, all the ingredients and juice were always fresh. I have written a review based on experience using dozens of hotels across Vietnam for business trips.

Everyone on the staff, from doormen to the reception area to the chef to the managers, were all so kind and accommodating. The rooms were as spacious as can be for Ho Chi Minh City, although the large beds took up a lot of space. And the air conditioning was perfect. The pool looked nice but I didn't get a chance to go for a swim. The restaurant and free breakfast was incredible every morning. And high view of the city through the large surrounding windows perfectly accompanied my morning meals. The hotel was so great that I booked there again as I passed through again a few days later. I will say that you should avoid getting a room on the floor right under the top floor, where the restaurant is. It gets a bit noisy in the morning from all the commotion of people heading up there for breakfast, not to mention all the service happening up there. But one quick call and they happily moved me to a much quieter, lower floor. Location felt safe and perfect. A short walk to everywhere.
