The Vinh Hung Emerald resort was incredible. The service was 5 star standard. The facilities, food and breakfast were fantastic. The views of the river and garden were second to none. The room was spotless and modern.The manager invited us for a special dinner to thank us for our stay which was a lovely touch. The hotel arranged trains and gave us a limo bus to the train station. The pool was great always enough sunbeds and not too busy with great nibbles and snack food on offer.The hotel also gave a daily free river cruise. The location was great about 5 mins walk away from the ancient town. you must choose this hotel in Hoi an! One of the best hotels I have stayed in.

Stop searching for a hotel in Hoi An! You've already found it!! We've travelled from South to the north and this absolutely is the best hotel in Vietnam. Why? Let me tell you: 1. Decor and style: it's a colonial style hotel that expresses in essence word "boutique". Increadibly charming and gives you that unique experience of Vietnam 2. Location: fantastic - 3 min walking from the center and all there is in Hoi An, but at the same time out of Main Street, so it's not noisy 3. Service: outstanding. In 2 days that we stayed they learned our names, were very helpful and attentive without getting into our space. Dressed in beautiful traditional outfits. Pleasure to spend time there.

After a few days spent looking for a hotel in Hoi An I kept coming back to this little hotel by the river not just because of its location but also the hotel decor that gave me the nostalgia feeling of coming back to the past. Well, the hotel did not disappoint. Beautiful decorations with wood trim and old style bedside phone and night stand. Walking into the room making me feel I have just gone back to the 90s. the room has a beautiful scent that I have never seen in the other 2 4stars and 5 stars hotels Danang where we stayed previously. First impression that I made the right choice. The location is very close to Hoi An old town and night market, you could walk, or the hotel staff are nice enough to let you borrow their bicycles with no charges. Speaking of the staff here, Nina, Ngoc, July are so full of energy and fun they make you feel like family. They even made me a surprise birthday cake! if next time we come back here, definitely gonna stay at this hotel again!

me and my wife are active hashers and great travellers. we have been travelling on a frequent basis to see different cultures,peoples, tribes and visited many countries.we have experienced stayng in 1 star up to 5star hotels but ving hung 1 hotel in hoi an vietnam is worth commenting.inspite of being a very old hotel with only 6 rooms all structures,flooring,walling,furnitures ect, were all constructed of mahagony timber which can be considered antique, they are well maintained,clean and room interior are real cosy. the few staffs are friendly and their ever willing to smile when we talk to them are an asset to the hotel.when asked where is the best place to eat cao lau and fried hoanh thanh[wonton]the staff without hesitation told us the shop and drew us the locality map direction.breakfast was satisfactory.we strongly this hotel to those who want to experience the hotel ambience with a difference.

Jasmine checked us in to the hotel, and she was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay! It was a pleasure meeting her, and she helped recommend a good, reasonably priced way to visit My Son during our time in Hoi An. The hotel was beautiful and the rooftop pool had a great view of Old Town! The night market was a 2-3 minute walk away. Taxis had a very hard time getting to or from the front door. You will have to walk beyond Old Town if you want a taxi at night, and even then it was hard to get one. Best to just stick to things within walking distance.

I have stayed in many good hotels in Hoi An over the last eight years but this one is now, officially, my new favourite! Tucked just down a lane but near to most of Hoi An's attractions, this hotel offers a room with quality fittings, big and clean bathroom and a high quality bed. Wonderfully helpful staff topped of a most satisfying short stay. We have been living in Da Nang for the last three months and this the hotel I will return to when next in Hoi An.

There are 4 Vinh Hung hotels in Hoi An so be very careful. Out of hotel, 3mins walk to the right, is night market. End of night mkt, cross the bridge is ancient town. Location wise, very good. Breakfast was acceptable with a little difference each day. Rooms were clean n big. Room 401 is a family room with 2 rooms with double beds. Will stay again at this hotel if ever yo visit Hoi An again.

great location we were so happy to have booked our accommodation at long life riverside hotel in hoi an. the location was perfect, easy walk into the old town of hoi an, close to great restaurants and on the river. quiet location, great swimming pool, very friendly service. bicyles were free and allowed us to explore the beaches and ride along the roads beside the river. we would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting hoi an. we were so please with this hotel we decided to stay an extra five days and we were so glad we did.

I loved the Pho Hoi 1 hotel. For $15 I had a spacious sunny room with windows looking out over my balcony to a lovely old , quiet lane. The room was clean, spacious, simply furnished and comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful. Each night they brought me a flask of hot water so that I could make tea [you need to request this though]. The hotel is in the perfect location, just steps from the ancient town. There's no breakfast at the hotel, but I went to the Hoi An Roastery Coffee House around the corner and down a bit, at 135 Tran Phu Street for perfect coffee and pastries in a very cool setting. The hotel is also very quiet at night, so there's no problem with sleeping. Ming and the rest of the staff booked my tours at very fair prices. I will absolutely stay here again - it's simple but a really nice base for exploring Hoi An ancient town and the tons of great cafes there, as well as the ancient temple complex of 'My Son', and it's only 10 minutes by motorbike taxi to the beach.

We stayed in a twin room on the second floor. It was incredibly spacious with a modern TV, mini fridge, desk and wardrobe. Aircon worked wonderfully and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Room is also cleaned daily with fresh towels. The true star of the hotel is the bathroom. Absolutely beautiful rainfall shower head and handheld option. The shower is enclosed and seperate from the toilet. The wifi is the fastest we've had in Asia. Location cannot be faulted, in walking distance to absolutely anything in the Hoi An centre. The free breakfast isn't that impressive. It's a 5 or so minute walk to Tanh Binh 3, where there is also a pool you can use. The younger male and female receptionists were wonderful and always willing to help. We are sad to not remember their names. She even organised our bus to Hue at a great price. She also booked us a great tour to the My Son temples with a scenic boat ride back to the city centre, we would definitely recommend this tour option. There was one receptionist who seemed to hassle us every time we walked in and out of the hotel attempting to sell us tours. He even tried to overcharge us for the our laundry. But once we clued on to his attitude we chose to wait until the friendlier staff were at reception until we asked any questions. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone - it's cheaper than many of the hostels in the area!!!
