At first i was a little bit hesitant to book a room at the MBS, since there were quite a few bad review. But, i went ahead with it, since i thought that i will want to see what was all the fuss about MBS, sooner or later. So i booked the premier ciity view room, for two nights. And it was definetely an experience to remember. Upon check in, the lady said that since we wanted one with two twin beds, she can only gave me two options. Wait until 3pm, to have one in the non-smoking floor but still can't guarantee that the room be available by then. Or we were welcomed to take the ready one, in the smoking floor. I told her that i'd wait, since i traveled with my two yound children, and i didn't want them to be in the smoking floor. Without any further fuss, She typed a few things into her computer, made a few calls, and shortly after, we were sent off to room number 46xx. I was so surprised when we entered the room. Room was bright, huge, and view from the window was breathtaking. Each of the two beds available were large enough to fit two adults. Therre were two benches in front of the beds, which we moved and joined together, to make a comfortable makeshift bed for our nanny. It was the BEST. One drawback was that the room was smelly of cigarettes, although it was located in a non-smoking floor. I can't say anything bad about this hotel. Everything was just perfect. The food, the location, the service...top quality,totally five stars. The pool was lovely, although crowded. Casino was jam-packed with patrons every hour of the day. We didn't have breakfast included in our room price, but the food court downstairs provides enough variety of food, with much cheaper price. We did order in-room dinner during the first night, and it was lovely enough. So yeah, at first we thought it was gonna be our once in a lifetime experience, but now, i'm pretty sure we will come back to MBS. Thumbs up!

Would i recommend marina mandarin.? Ohhhh YES i would and would gladly stay here again for another round of staycation!!! While checking in, we were greeted with a wonderful surprise--> a free upgrade to meritus club!!! All in all--> Location checked! Amazing breakfast checked! Convenience checked! And AN AMAZING night view!!! This hotel is NOT only conveniently located BUT it comes with a halal breakfast option for muslims. Convenience is key as it is strategically located most tourist attractions and last minute shopping is always welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic with both asian and western flair :) I've patronized 5stars hotel on my vacations abroad and sadly, the ONLY minus point during my stay is the *condescending* attitude of the front-desk staff. As a true blue Singaporean, that attitude does not best reflect us, Singaporean nor does it reflect a five star hotel staff. Dont get me wrong, why a Five star ranking if the service does not truely come from your heart.? Again you would ask if i'll patronize staying at this hotel. My answer would be YES, because i'll disregard 2 or 3 distasteful behaviour of hotel staff to have an amazing staycation again.

If you get a Agoda super special on this Hotel just book it, ok doesn't have the best views in town as it's so low down compared to everything else, but the Hotel is based on old colonial Post office converted to Hotel. The Hotel itself is stunning, inside and outside, staff very helpful rooms maybe a little small but we had a upgrade to executive which gave us a huge bathroom never seen one so big in Hotel, with exec priveledges for breakfast, afternoon, early evening snacks and drinks. Breakfast to die for in main restaurant called the Town, the exec area breakfast bit of a let down, very basic and european in style although you got free champagne! We also had a huge Seafood buffet at the weekend which was superb, with all manors of freshly cooked seafood in front of us from all around the world. If i had know how good this hotel was i would have spent my first week here instead but then again was nice having the views from the other hotel so maybe book yourself in after a few days when you've got bored of the views and want to really pamper yourself!

I am a local and booked this hotel to watch the National Day Fireworks. Though the staff said that I would have to pay an additional amount to upgrade for the view, they gave me a complimentary upgrade to a room which faced it. I had a fabulous view of the entire Marina Bay Area! Bed was fabulous, really comfortable. Bathroom was fabulous too, good water pressure and really wonderful bathtub. Staff respond very quickly. A bit pricey, but it is a 5 star hotel, and you get what you pay for!

I booked the room for a staycation. 2 days before check-in, I paid for an upgrade (offered as a choice to HHonors member) so I got to stay in a corner suite with executive lounge access. Great before check-in service. The stay itself is pleasant. Check-in and check-out is not the most fast but not considered slow. Staffs attended my several requests (ice bucket, baby cot, wine glasses, heat up packed food, etc) very fast, actually one of the the most fast and attentive among all the hotels I stayed (considering I've stayed over almost all 5-stars in Singapore). I was always addressed my name and this is a nice personal touch I really appreciate. Room is not huge as I imagined, although it's said to be 63 sqm, most of the space is kinda 'wasted' in bathroom - the bathroom is at least 20 sqm large! Not a complaint because I enjoy huge bathrooms but this will probably help other visitors set their baseline. Cleanness is very good. Bed is as high/comfort as other Conrad hotel standard. TV in the hall is huge and there's another smaller TV in the room. Channel selection is good with 40+ channnels but most of them don't have a clear reception - I would suggest the management subscribe to HD channels instead as the normal signals don't really look good on huge TVs. Furniture/appliances are old and need an upgrade asap. Come on, it's 21st century and which else 5-star hotel needs me to manually wind down the curtain? This suite even has 7 pieces of curtain and another 7 pcs of blind! Executive lounge is good. Food and drinks (alchoholic drinks included) are provided daily from 6.30am till 11pm. Visitors can enjoy free wifi at lounge, not sure of the quality tho as I'm local and has 4G in my phone.

Our sty at the Ritz was memorable and fitting for the occasion. I brought my girl on my business trip because she turns 7 on my departure day. Thus, decided to book a good hotel to celebrate her 7th. Likewise, my best friend with me on my trip was also celebrating her birthday a week after. Thus It was a double celebration. I informed the hotel and they happily upgraded us to a suite room. Despite some confusion in our reservations (long story) we got our rooms with terrific view of the river and all the attractions there is in front of us. Much more, the weekend was a preparatory event & drills for the up and coming national day thus we had a great show in front of us without going anywhere. My daughter totally enjoyed the spectacular view and show of the drama, jets and sky divers, fireworks & light shows, etc while enjoying dinner from room service. The hotel also gave her a birthday cake and a card on the house. Though the hotel is grand and beautiful, with superb staff, including the door man... !!!.... food was not great. Thats the only downside. I hope they improve on it. The hotel is connected to the Millennia walk and Marina Square, all are shopping complexes with everything you need. From there it connects to other parts nearby and also the MRT station. It is a huge complex of hotels and malls linked together with an underground mtr that makes it so convenient. From the front, taxi is easily available, the singapore flyer is just a 5 mins walk away. Marina bay sands is just across 10 mins by foot. In general, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location, great staff, great service, beautiful and large rooms with a nice river view if you book the rooms on the Marina bay view side. Security is excellent as well. Room keys are necessary to be able to make the lifts work. Even entering the lobby is relaxing. What the hell do they use for air freshener?? Probably real flowers. Or angels' sweat and tears. Fullerton bay makes it really hard for me to enjoy any other hotels anywhere in the world. The staff? Very friendly, very helpful, very attentive but NOT in a creepy, stalker-y way. The breakfast? I would eat there all day, everyday. For such a small hotel the food selections are amazing. Seriously, I'd kidnap the chefs and lock them in my basement and force them too cook the Fullerton Bay breakfast menu for me everyday for the rest of their life. PLEASE HAVE THE CROISSANT. Best croissant ever. The bed? Dont make me start on the bed. They have a vast selections of pillows, and goddamn, the pillows! I swear they're made of baby angels' butts. The sheets are so soft they have got to be made from the skin of those baby angels, too. The only downside is the price and the room availability. They never have enough rooms so you need to book way in advance for peak season. The price is definitely way up there but damn Fullerton Bay take my money!!!

one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at.Could not find any flaws right from the moment we arrived at this hotel and till the time we left we were just swept off our feet by the service we received. Hotel itself is excellent in my opinion should be rated 6 star the bars, swimming pool, restaurants, tennis court childrens playroom and playground and overall just too good. the hotel connects to marina square and suntec shopping centres which makes it so easy if you planning a lazy day and could not be bothered travelling for food or shopping. Totally recommend this hotel for any sort of travller as they cater for all. will Certainly be booking this hotel for my next stay in singapore.
