Great customer service, extremely beautiful to walk through. The rooms are definitely 4-Star quality tho, not 5. Still very clean and very low price. My family, who stayed a week earlier, loved it as much as my wife and I did. I will definitely come back if promos are still available. The restaurant food is also Incredible, but expensive dinner while right outside, local restaurants are half the price for everything. My family ate once at the hotel, but found it just as good to go out when we save more than half the price, with just as good of Vietnamese cuisine. Massage/Spa was the best Massage Therapy my wife and I have ever had, compared to US, Philippines, and Koreans. They also had great 20% off for Hotel tenants. We have been so busy in Saigon, so we didn't have time to check out the The only issues are on the last day, my card quit working at least an hour early (11am), and I had to get room service to open it for me to grab my bags.

When I checked in, I was surprised that my request to have a double bed room to agoda was not passed down to the hotel. I was given a twin beds room so I asked the hotel if they can help in answer my request. They try their best and find a double bed room for us to stay. They are patient to help fulfil our request. Two thumb up for them. The location of the hotel is quite ok as it is near the Nowzone Fashion Mall which just walking about 10-15mins to reach. The price is quite affordable for a couple rates for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast they provided are quite ok. There is a egg section where you can ask the chef to cook the eggs style you like and a chef will cook a vietnam style cuisine for morning breakfast. The rest dishes layout make me feel like I am eating a breakfast buffet in 3 stars hotel. I thought a 4 stars hotels breakfast can be more variety or different. IF only they can improve on this area. The facilities they provide are quite ok. No complaints.

AWESOME!!!! beautiful well designed hotel. Waking up in the morning in this hotel makes it easy to forget your in the heart of busy saigon. The room has everything you could need and more. The bed is super comfortable compared to many 5 star hotels!! The staff at this hotel are nothing short of amazing. They always smile and are more than willing to help with anything. Breakfast is served on the roof and the beef pho is one of the best ive ever had. The location is a very short taxi away from the backpacker area or the center of bussiness area. In my opinion this area is better than any ive stayed previously. Its located on the shopping street of d5. The area is great for walking around and eating many local foods. Also this area doesnt have any of the hawkers that hassle tourists like in district 1.This hotel is niw always my first choice when in hcmc.

Old hotel? 3 star only? Rating 6.8 only? The hotel room carpet looked old. Do not let these be a negative factor in deciding your stay. This is my 5th hotel I've stayed this trip in HO CHI MINH. This 3 star hotel is cleaner and the staff were friendlier then other 4 star hotel that even had a better rating. No insects were found in my room. No ants. Fast check in and check out. Excellent FREE wifi, fast and connected all the time. Location is good. Walk around the hotel and you can find countless of restaurant, from low budget to high class. There is a few laundry around the hotel with decent pricing. There is a few day and night market, within walking distance to the hotel. This hotel is located exactly at the cross junction but there is no problem in getting taxi. Taxi to district 1 and airport cost me about 100,000dong, about 20mins. I had an excellent 4 nights stay.

Class, comfort, clean. Right in the middle of a buzzling street yet well sheltered from the noise, hiding in a corner of a slip road. Absolutely perfect , clean, chic, classy, comfortable, roomy, professional, numerous channels on tv. With the class and feel of a 4 star hotel yet cost of a homestay. What a gem. I will continue to be here in all my subsequent visits to HCMC.

We had two rooms side by side for 4 people. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Every time we needed VND ,we just went to the desk to exchange money. Very convenient.there are safety box by the desk for us to keep our valuable items. The breakfast was very good.Room was clean except the dust under the bed needs to be vucuumed. The location is good. We took a bus to Ben Thanh market or just walked to AN Dong market. There were a lot of places to shop in dist 5. Butif you plan to shop, don't go in Lunar new year. Stores and market are closed. Because of Chinese or Vietnamese New Year,we had an invitation from the hotel to attend their New Year party on new year eve. All the guests were invited to a restaurant across from the hotel. We were told that it was their tradition and it was a way to celebrate their big holidays with guests. All the staff came to greet their guests and cheer with wine. The free dinner buffet was amazing, a lot of choices with free wine, beer, and drinks. We felt like celebrating the new year at home. We will highly recommend this hotel to friends and we will definitely stay there again next time.

You are in Chinatown so it's less touristy than district 1. The management prohibits foreigners staying with Vietnamese nationals staying in the same room. However, they don't state that in the hotel policies in Agoda's listing. They tried to make me book a second room, but did not let them jerk me around so they found a workaround. I had to be thick skinned though. I booked the Deluxe room which was advertised as 33 square meters with City View. They at first tried to give me a room that was 19 square meters, but I insisted that the room I booked was supposed to be larger. Then they gave me a room that was 25 square meters, but no view. The windows look at a wall. They said they didn't have anymore rooms with windows, so I accepted it. The bathroom had no hot water so I had to take a cold shower. My devices couldn't join the wifi for some reasons so I just ran a long ethernet cable to their administrative offices down the hall. I had to tape it up properly so that that no one would trip. After resting for the afternoon, I noticed that the bedsheet was too small for the bed. The bedsheet only ran down 80 percent of the mattress, leaving the rest of the mattress exposed. I told the reception and they made the bed again with the appropriate sheets. This hotel is more of an entertainment complex for men. There's a karaoke hostess nightclub and happy ending massage parlor attached. Good for single guys and traveling businessmen, but not couples or family. Room Tip: If you booked one of the larger rooms, don't let them try to give you a smaller room.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The staff made me feel welcome the moment I stepped into the hotel. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were much bigger than what I had expected, and every thing in the room is very clean. The breakfast is quite good, although if you wake up late, there is only one dish available. It was a pleasant stay and I would definitely return.

It was a new and great experience for this! My gf and I are very pleased to this hotel which is best suit for couples. However, the hotel is a bit run-down and will need some maintenance of the room facilities. On the day of my stay, the aircon was leaking water throughout the night which caused some ponding of water on the floor. Water heating may require upgrade as the hot water supply run out very quickly.

5 minute walk to Andong Market. Hotel is also near (5 blocks from hotel) convenience stores and pharmacy. 20-30 mins taxi drive going to Ben Thanh Market or Saigon Square and it will cost you less than 3 US Dollars, more or less 60,000 VND. Daily breakfast was served but not as buffet and you have to walk 4-5 blocks from the hotel in which their restaurant is located. Staff were courteous and very accommodating though language is a barrier we still manage to understand each other. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. WIFI VERY MUCH OKAY.

We expect that we will not get a very appealing hotel because this is a 2 star hotel. Only thing we don't like the Cockroach. It's a lot actually because the building is somehow old but... because the staff and is very nice, accommodating, easy to talk and very approachable. We re all satisfied and if we will have a chance to go back in Vietnam located in District 5. we will still choose Tan Da Hotel. Thank you for making our 1st visit in Vietnam more comfortable from room 104, 103, 102, 101 and 403.

we arrived around 1am in the morning, found receptionist and guard asleep in the what is supposed to be a lobby. we booked for 2 rooms but was told that there is only one room. the other room would have to be in the nearby phuoc loc tho 1 for the night and will be transferred back to the originally booked hotel the following day. it was difficult to communicate as they hardly speak english (found out during our stay that very few people speak english in vietnam) i woke up in the morning to the sound of ambulance siren, and later found myself counting how many will pass by during the day (it peaked to 5 ambulances in one day, i just wonder what kind of accident/s or illness those people got into). i happened to like the room i got (phuoc loc tho 1)and decided not to transfer. it was big enough for 2 beds, with flat screen, with cute little lamps (aside from effective lighting), big bathrooms. what tops it is housekeeping services... they hardly speak english, but they make sure to clean the room well, they have fluffy, clean and nice smelling towels. package includes breakfast, and what a breakfast! love their noodle soup!

This hotel locates at not so far away of central China-Town Main Street , two blocks through left will be Tran Hung Dao 2 ave. a center of the town The hotel personal staff are very friendly to help you to solve what you need if possible , also they provide motorcycle for renting which save a lot money for transportations.renting fee ranged from $2.50 to $4.00 / day depend on what model of the motorcycle you like , if you consider for budget and for a room to stay , this hotel is the one.

The location is somewhat decent. Exit the hotel turn right and you have some shady massage places that might be of interest to to single men. keep on walking and you'll see cafe thuy vi, from there if you turn left you have club 86, walk a little further and you have mifa cafe, which is like a vietnamese strip club. From the hotel, if you turn right, the corner coffee stand guy will ask you if you want to bring girls to your room. I booked the Deluxe Triple room which is supposed to be 28 square meters with windows. The reception gave me a room that was only 20 square meters with no windows. I went back down to ask her if she gave me the correct room. She said she did not have the room that I booked so she gave me an "upgrade". I insisted that I want a room with windows so she gave me another room in the building next door that had floor to ceiling windows but was still only about 20 square meters. I was satisfied with the large windows so I kept the room. They rooms also have a bathrobes, but the bathrobe was too small. The room was far from the wifi router in the hallway so it had it's own ethernet port and wifi router in-room. However, the ethernet port was dead so that meant the wifi wasn't working either. I travel with a 100 foot ethernet cable so I just connected to the wifi router in the hallway downstairs. If you get room 601, make sure you can get a wifi signal or test to see if the ethernet jack in the room works first. Room Tip: Make sure you get the room size that you booked. they exaggerate the room size on the booking sites.

I payed for the whole week through agoda for the website, When in check in the front desk at danh uy told me that they do not accept any booking through agoda due to slow payment from agoda to danh uy, in order to stay there i have to pay cash out of my pocket instead, I basically lost one week of my money by paying through the agoda website since agoda has no refund policy.

Our stay was pleasant. We would like to have been orientated to the rooms better such as switch for hot water and how to call I other rooms using the phone in our room. Staff were very responsive to our needs such as requesting for hot water to be provided daily and a few things in the bathroom for a comfortable shower. Rooms were very clean and bedsheets were changed daily Easy to access and good location.

Air con didn't work, hot first night so they upgraded me for a night into a bigger window room whic was nice then put me into another room on my last night where the remote didn't work for the air con but at least it was on and cooled the room. The staff were all good to help tho and I liked my time here. Good location, runs off the main streets to the centre. Standard two star hotel

I was lucky to be referred to this hotel because I did enjoy much its convenient location situated in one of most busiest center of Ho Chi Minh City. The things I like the best are its location opposite to a big book store named "Nguyen Van Cu Bookstore" and 5 minute walk to University of Pedgogy with bus to all directions. Around it, there are different kinds of restautants that I could taste a variety of foods and atmosphere of inside and outside. I was quite satisfied with the hospitality of its staffs. Although the room was not very spacious, it was well-furnished and newly painted. Its price is very reasonable. To sum up, I felt so warm and comfortable when staying here for both of my business trip or entertaining travel.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Hanh Long 1 Hotel in District 5, Cho Lon. Although the hotel is not as grand branded hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, it is still consider as a generally acceptable hotel. With the amount of money I have paid and the room I got, it is definitely value for money. The massage service located at level 2 of the hotel provides excellent authentic Vietnamese style massage, foot and body, which includes foot pressing technique and hot stones massage. I will classify my massage experience over there as wonderful. However, I find that the hotel should look into some of its equipment serviceability. The telephone in my room was not working, and the air conditioner was not very strong(I don't really mind it as I don't use the phone and I don't like my room to be cold). Other than these, the room was spacious and generally clean and tidy. Hence, overall I like my stay in Hanh Long 1 Hotel.

I had a wonderful time at Imperial Saigon Hotel. The staffs were friendly and professional at the same time. My room was clean and really comfortable, almost feel like home. The location of this hotel is very convenient to all the things i wanted to do in Saigon because it located in central Saigon; every thing is only a few minutes away. The price is reasonable. This will definitely be my hotel of choice for future visits.
