We are frequent to this hotel, ever since it's opening. So far, nothing to complain; the hotel has everything we need and they deliver it well. Affordable price, good bedding, good facility - car park, swimming pool, good locations - velocity mall is just next door as well as mytown shopping centre/ikea cheras is walking distance, Connaught MRT station, etc. They provide shuttle service to bukit bintang pavilion at certain hrs.

I am a Singaporean and all these while I've only stayed in 4 or 5 star hotel whenever I travel to KL. This time round i went without my family so i was on a budget and decided to gamble on this 3 star hotel. Service is really good and I was very impressed with the room! Nothing like 3 star! Best of all, it's even better than some of the hotels that I've stayed in and a whole lot cheaper! There's free laundry too and breakfast is good! What more can I ask for paying sgd50 plus per night?! Will definitely recommend! I got around by Uber alot but it is walking distance to Berjaya Times Square. We made a mistake by taking Uber from BTS. Waste of money as the taxi driver pretended to not know where to go! Such an ass. One of the advices that I can give is to walk to BTS thn take public transport or Uber straight from the hotel. Cheap and convenient. And when I say Uber, take the one with fixed amount so they can't cheat or play dumb. All the best for ur trip, guys! Stay safe 💕

Overall is good - cleanliness, hospitality services, facilities. Breakfast choices limited, which is okay for me - I got the room in cheaper rate. Location as in easy access to public yes it is very convenience. Surrounding - amusement, few coffee shop/restaurant. Best thing is the hotel provides free shuttle to KLCC & MidValley (one way only) and IKEA Cheras (Return).

The hotel has a great location situated on the main road. Close to all the sight seeing places. There is a MRT at walking distance as well. They have a small cafe where your breakfast is served and after that i guess they just have coffee and ice creams. But there is a good food court near to the hotel which is guess i open 24 hrs. Breakfast is nothing great, simple options like toast, 2 of their local dishes and coffee/tea. Rooms are small and cosy. They are clean but dated. The bedsheets were slightly stained with small blue dots all-over. There are water filters on each floor for cold & hot water. There are no kettles and tea/coffee in the room. Overall a good place to stay if you are not looking for anything fancy.

the hotel is one of the best in this area. there are also some cheap hotel near this hotel, but as i can see that d garden hotel has the best exterior building design. the room i rent is quite nice with comfy large bed, good shower and a useful tv for your entertainment. every floor of the hotel is equipped with wifi that guest can use for free for unlimited time. just request the passkey from the receptionist in the 1st floor. at night, there are several restaurant / coffee shop open until midnight, so don't worry you'll be getting starving as you can easily find food for supper.

I cant say enough about the staff and there fforts to make us happy with our hotel choice. This went from the bartenders to the front desk, the food and beverage manager to the General Manager they went to special lenghts to make our visit exceptional.The only draw back is that they close there pool too early 7:00 so when you get back from a long day its not open howevr I think they are planning to change that to 9:00. If you want to be outside the tourist zone this the place to go in a very safe friendly community. Be sure to check ou the food court in the mall basically a block from the hotel. My daughter and I were traveling alone and had no problems

Definitely one of the best hotel i ever stayed in Kuala Lumpur. it is located some minute walk away from Times Square, so you gotta becareful if you are to walk back hotel late at night. However the hotel itself, although from outlook it looks not so attractive, however internally it is splendid. It has different themed room, and it is sooooo nice to stay. The bedroom is spacious, as well as the bathroom. And the breakfast, it is not just simple buffet. The chief will personally come out and ask if you have any special request, and cook for you upon your request. Super satisfy with this hotel. Their service is even better than 5-starred hotel. Definitely will recommend friend and will come back to this hotel for a stay whenever i visit KL.

The price is reasonable. I have been staying in the other hotel near China Town under the same group . Both hotels are in good rate for budget traveller. The location is good for me because I already been staying in Leo Leisure Hotel near China Town . I booked this hotel in pudu for 2 weeks in 2 separate bookings . I don't want to go to downtown to have lots of massage parlour and massage girls. if in downtown hard to control myself . Therefore I book one more week before I fly to Hanoi . The hotel room is bigger than the one in china town and both hotels rooms are clean . In here breakfast is provided although not many choices but compare with the price . It is acceptable. Also mini bar is provided and coffee Tea making facility. The price is not much difference between the one in china town but you get more here. The staff is friendly overall although there is minor problem occurring but the manager Kelvin solved my issues immediately. That's what I expect for the right attitude. Thanks . The facility is acceptable because of the room rate . Nothing to complain. I will definitely staying here next year when I come to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and also letting my friends know the place .

We stayed at V Garden Hotel for one night as a stransit to Ipoh the following day. We have booked two deluxe twin rooms for Rm84 each through agonda. Fittings are new and clean. Despite its small size, the room is modern and neatly designed. Wifi is fast. TV provides Chinese channels. Counter staff is a bit slow but very friendly. For the last few times, we usually stayed at Bukit Bintang hotels which enables us to go everywhere easily. Staying away from BB is a fresh experience for my family. I pay less for a higher quality stay. It is a chance to explore other part of KL. Although it is away from BB, Muluri MRT is just 5-minutes' walk. Next to MRT is a bus terminus where I found buses bound for KL Sentral. I think I will try this cheap joy ride next time. About 5-minute further, there is a Jusco where we bought three parts of Yonex sports shoes for just Rm79 each (which is a very reason my family plans to stay here again next time). There is a local food court behind Jusco. That evening, we tried a small Chinese restaurant on the right of V Garden Hotel. The food there is really good. Overall, I enjoy the stay at this hotel. But I suggest the hotel to provide a freezer on every floor eventhough the room is too small to keep one.

Near Ikea Cheras,10 minutes walking, if u take Uber it takes RM4.50 from ikea cheras to hotel Price of hotel is reasonable Not suitable to walk alone at night outside hotel especially for girl Opposite hotel u can found 7E & KK Mart My room is clean & nice..seriously satisfied with the aircond & toilet Staff is so friendly I borrow the iron,but i hope they prepared the iron board too because its hard to iron on the small table For hot water & coffee,u can find at level 4 of hotel... From our room,we can heard when other room near us open the door or when someone talk outside the room

The area may seems a little filthy nothing special from building look outside ..but for about $ 30 per night for room for 3 people (even they give me 4 people bedroom) it was best deal, they have clean room,clean bed, clean amenities (they give soap,shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush and even breakfast (fried rice, fried noodles, boiling eggs, bread with jam , watermelon, orange drink, water and instant coffee)...and they even help with bellboy to carry luggages and friendly staffs. Compare to my hotel in ipoh (which dirty so many hairs when I wasjust checked in and more expensive without breakfast nor amenities) . its good deal for budget hotel..just abit noise as the wall is thin so u can hear people next door tv a bit but cant complain more for only $10 a night

Pros -Clean room and free of bed bugs. -Helpful and friendly reception staff. -Large and clean waiting/reception area. -Elevator -Strong variable shower pressure. -Security Cameras -The location was a stroll away from the bus and train terminal which made it easy to travel to various locations. -Walking distance to some tourist attractions and food areas. Cons -Toilet paper was not provided in the room which I had to request for one. The cleaner informed me that they had no stock and could only provide me a leftover 1/5 roll. I requested the following day for a full one, as what they had provided ran out. A different cleaner informed me that they were very low in stock but provided a full one. -Cleaning staff were not friendly but did provide appropriate service as requested. -Limitted opportunities to meet other travellers using the accomodation. -Lacking a do not disturb sign for the room which I had to custom make my own. -The room was rather small but sufficient for my needs.

It is a very comfortable stay. A very clean hotel and room. Variety of choices for breakfast. There's a convenience store i.e. 7 eleven next door and also a self service laundry. For nearest food available, there's a "food court" near the hotel. However, during my stay, there were not many store opened. Besides that, the location is a bit hard to find. I ordered a food delivery service to the hotel but they are having problems to find the hotel. In the end, the order was cancelled. BUT, if you have a transport, please stay here. It is a very value for money stay. I would stay here again. Definitely! :)

I had to kill several roaches when I checked in a few showed up the next day. I only booked here for one night and that turned out to be a good thing because I didn't want to have to deal with that any longer. Everything else about the room was just fine. The room & bedding were clean. The carpeting in the halls is old & dingy but that was no big deal. The staff was courteous. There's an elevator & two computers for guest use. Overall it's a good hotel for the price. The bugs were my only issue, else I probably would have booked more nights.

The Urban Bird Hotel was the perfect choice for a couple of days in KL. On arrival they upgraded me into a Deluxe Queen room. The Deluxe Queens are small but there's enough space for luggage, even for two people it would be fine I suppose. But on that note, it's important to know that the bathrooms are open towards the ceiling. If you're traveling alone that's obviously no problem but when traveling with someone be prepared that there's no way to hide ANYTHING. Otherwise both bathroom and room were perfectly clean and in excellent condition. The bed was comfortable and there are several wall-attached wardrobes and hooks to hang clothes. If you're a light sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs as there can be noise from the hallway. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the reception is covered 24/7. Also, I felt really safe as the main entrance can only be opened from the outside when ringing the bell and being admitted by the staff. Attached to the hotel is a coffee shop/waffle place attached to it, which is a nice and friendly place. Only thing is, it doesn't open until noon so it's no breakfast option. Location-wise the hotel is about a 5' walk each to Pudu and Imbi station. You can also walk to Bukit Bintang in about 15-20'. During daytime it's very safe in this area, but I don't know about night time. I never walked back to the hotel when it was late but took a Grab car. I can definitely recommend this place and can honestly say it was the best value in Southeast Asia so far.

The room was really clean and spacious enough. Thumbs up to the spacious bathroom. We were provided with 2 key cards during our stay which was really helping when I went out to top up my junk foods while my husband was sleeping in the room. Convenient stores are within walking distance. 24hours eateries are scattered around the hotel as well. And we ordered foods at 1am and the food delivered to our room free of charge. Feels like staying in 4 stars hotel and paying for one star hotel price. Really satisfied and we were happy customers. Definitely coming back and one of my most favourite hotel so far. Really recommended. The customer service also very helpful when we turned up earlier for checked in. Thumbs up and keep up the good work guys.

april  2012, i and my girlfriend stayed at phoenix hotel for two night. all the staff of phoenix hotel are very friendly since we stepped in the hotel and they provided great level of services even the security guard who will always smile and open the door at main entrance for you to come in or go out from the hotel. the room is very comfortable which provide nice and clean bed and lcd tv with satellite channel like astro and  although the wash room is considered a bit small but out of all the budget hotels this is the best we have seen so far due to it looks very new and clean. all facilities needed  inside the room are completed, and also you may be able to request for other facilities and services like wifi, hair-dryer and etc..from reception. what is amazing to us which is the speed of the wifi connection, it is really fast and steady. although the location of phoenix hotel is a bit far from the pudu lrt station and we need to take about 10min walk to the hotel. we have taken cab to petaling street is only within 10min and it's cost few ringgit only because it is very far if walking to petaling street or even times square. altogether, we have great experience when the time we stayed at phoenix hotel for two night. the prices range for each of the room are reasonable and affordable. there is one of the nice hotel we have experienced. we will consider to have another chance again to stay at phoenix hotel. this experience is value for money and worthwhile. in my opinion, this hotel will be entitled score 9 out of 10.
