Hotels near IKEA Mall

This hotel is linked to One Utama shopping mall which is probably the largest mall in KL, so shopping and finding a place to eat is just too easy. It is also closed to The curve and Ikea which is probably only 5 mins away by taxi. The hotel is reasonably new and room size is comfy. The selecton of breakfast is huge, however by looking at the dishes we suspected that some might be left-overs from the night before. It's quite far from the airport though and not close to Bukit Bintang either. However it's still the ideal place to stay if you only prepare to spend your time in Petaling Jaya. There are several activity zones for adults and kids inside one utama shopping centre and also there're direct shuttles to genting highland on LG leavel of one Utama mall.

We got the deluxe studio room which is big enough for family of five with 3 young kids. The location of the hotel is the best, within shopping mall itself with lots of food places. Ikea, Toys'r us and more shopping is just across the road. Sheltered linkway all the way to Kidszania. The breakfast is so so compared to the choice of food around the hotel. Would get the room without breakfast next time. Our room has a problem with the bath tap that comes off easily. Other than that the hotel staffs are good to meet all our demands for extra water and towels.

Was here for a wedding, spent 2 nights. Best part about the hotel was the inter connectivity between e-curve, The Curve and IPC Ikea malls. There was a connected walkway to the MRT so super convenient for me and my 4 year old. The mentioned are ultimately kids friendly so we love staying at Royale Chulan. Food choices are abundance, entertainments for both adults and kids as well.

Sofitel located within walking distant to subway station pusat Bandar damansara within 15mins distant from hotel to MRT station, you may walk tru the shopping mall named DC Mall ( pretty okay with Watsons's, BIG grocery, restaurants, cafes) all the way to subway station. the facities at Sofitel Hotel ( swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Gym) what you need all under one roof. tumb up for the best job of this hotel ^^

Pleasant. It's clean and the staffs are very friendly. Deluxe room - the space is not big, but they have everything. Tried their cafe with the vouchers given to us upon checking in. Food & coffee is not bad, the atmosphere is good. very nice conceptualized cafe they have. Very convenient. roughly 7-8 minutes walk to eCurve mall, the curve mall & ikea. Domino pizza beside the hotel, few minutes walk to old town restaurant and laundry services.

The hotel just few minutes walk from the shopping mall i.e. The Curve, Tesco Extra, Ikea and One Utama. Nearby is restaurants and got free parking. Hotel also got free shuttle to the nearby business office and shopping complex. Very fast and helpful front desk staffs. My room's bulb got problems and after make the complaint, their maintenance staff already respond and solve my problem. He even call the housekeeping to clean the dirt. My room is big and clean, the design also quite modern and we are very happy to stay at the 18th floor which can see the shopping mall. The security system is good, only the house guest who got the room card can excess to the floor and we even can go to our room direct from the basement car park. We only need to exchange the parking card with the front desk staff we want to go out and no limitation of usage the car park. Wifi signal is very strong and fast. The only problem I facing is difficult to locate the car park space near the hotel lift even got signboard direct to the hotel lift as the car park is very big. Overall are excellent.

The hotel have to branches. One in Mutiara Demansara while the other in TTDI. I suppose to book the one in Mutiara but I was careless. Apparently, I booked the one in TTDI. I arrived at the hotel around 8pm and checked in. The next day I ate my breakfast . They have mushroom egg and pork and beans and coffee. Lovely! I came back to the reception to request for transfer to the other hotel. I told them I want to transfer as the other branch is near to Demansara performing arts theatre where my friend is performing later. Long story short, the staff was able to to arrange my transfer. I am grateful to the staff of TTDI. Thank you for understanding.

Friendly Hotel Staffs, the massage machine is really useful after long day of shopping, cleaning service also good, nearby got a lot of cafes, restaurants, convenience store and banks, near to a bus stop which heading to taman bahagia lrt station, 10mins drive to 1 utama, ikea, lrt stations. also an area which are easy to book uber or grabcar, definitely coming back to stay for future kl trip.

We stayed in this hotel - 3 adults and 2 children. We book a family deluxe with 2 double bed. the location of the hotel was excellent, 5 minutes drive to 1 Utama shopping mall and 10 minutes to IKEA. As for the breakfast and lunch, very easy for us as exact below the hotel is a Chinese coffee shop with variety of foods available. There are also 3 24-hours mini market and 1 of it is 7-11. during night time , there was 1 mamak store which has a giant projection TV screen for football fans to watch live game. Overall, worth all the money paid

Basic room is really suit for solo traveller. Although it is not public transport convenient, the hotel is surrounded by a lot of cafes and even there is a shopping mall behind the hotel. Just a walking distance you can go to the family mart, nearby have 7-11 stores. 5 mins drive to the Tropicana Mall and 1 utama. The staffs are polite and good service. For those who drives, it maybe not that convenient because the parking lot is really less. Overall the hotel is okay to stay and the price is reasonable!

the hotel is well located in Damansara uptown, if that is the area you are going. Not close to KL city center but more towards Bandar Utama, Uptown and PJ area. its more of a business district with some shopping options like One Utama, Curve and Ikea. Rooms is nice, small but good enough for one person. very affordable and good value for money compared to other similar priced hotels within the area.

I feels this hotel has been terribly under rated by previous customer.i stays here for 5 days during my training at centrepoint.its 15 minutes walk through kg kayu ara,not much of a walking pavement but still possible to walk.for a very good price i get: -a clean room -chill aircond -hot shower -local tv -breakfast/dinner stall at back of hotel -hotel can serve heat up instant food at lobby -taxi available at petronas 3 minutes walk from hotel -free parking at hotel area(its a workshop shoplots) -15minutes walk to centrepoint

Pros supersede cons. Free wifi - superfast, speedtest came to 17/18 mbps down/upload, excellent speed for a budget hotel. Not 100% soundproof, can hear cars/bikes zooming by-our room facing main road . Also, if unlucky you get noisy neighbours late night. Walls too thin so can hear people talking. But if you can put up with these, overall, all basic needs covered - room reasonable price, clean, decent, toilet, new, water pressure ok, soap, hairdryer, towels, hangers provided, a/c power points adequate on both sides of bed for charging devices. Has free Fox Movies Premium Cable channel too. Free parking in front of hotel. Very close to the Curve and Ikea.

We stayed for 4D/3N and we were very comfortable in this hotel. Online booking provider did a bit of a mess up on our booking and as such we were in a double room for just one night before, the hotel was able to sort us out into a family room. The room are basic but it was very clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was just simply superb. The air-condition was very good as well . The family room has windows which was very nice. Our first night in the double room it even has a common dinning area which was handy. The location of the hotel is just perfect where it was near a plethora of shops and restaurants and there is even a bus-stop near the hotel for those who need to move about in buses. Staffs were just so very efficient and friendly where they are ever ready to attend to your every need. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and we wish you the very best. The hotel is clean and well managed. The room and the bathroom are clean, enough for a short visit. The staff are friendly and amiable. They do provide hot and tepid water dispensers on every floor. The iron and ironing boards are shared per floor so if you need to iron a lot of clothes, bring your own. Don't expect to watch good content on TV because they only have off-the-air broadcast and not receiving good signal either. Also, as of April 29th 2017, there is no spa. It has been closed down.

Very clean hotel with good security, fast check in, friendly staffs and good choice of breakfast. Location is good, near One Utama, The Curve, IKEA and kidzania. Great for traveller who wants to stay away from the busy and heavy traffic places but yet want to be able to reach there in minutes. Very convenient as have many restaurants, cafes and fats food nearby. Truly satisfied. Will stay again

Stayed 2 nights at family room, clean beds and bathroom, price is cheapest among all hotel, simple but good breakfast with fried mihun, nasi lemak, and etc. Car Park is ok for weekend and no need any coupon. Location is good just in front of new The Starling Mall, nearby Tropicana City Mall, 1 Utama, Paradigm Mall. The only negative point is this is walk up budget hotel, it is abit inconvenience for senior citizen and those who carrying luggages, also the water heater was installed too high, those who less than 155cm couldnt manage to touch it. Conclusion, I will rate it 8.5/10, and definitely come again.
