ts suites is the best of the best. i went there with my partner and we were so happy with room. we love the big bed. we stayed in premium executive and every dimes we spent are worth what i paid. i think the hotel is better than the 5 star chained hotel since those are so old but ts suites are very modern, looks nice and comfortable. however, the reason that i really like this hotel is a service mind that every single staffs in the hotel. we booked one more days becos we would liuek to extend our stay but the problem is we need to change the room from single bed to double bed which is so bad for a couple like us. finally, the staffs tried so hard to fix the room for us even the hotel rooms are so full and we finally can stay the same room and dont have any problem wth packing and change the room. overall i am so happy !!!! and i like the super low rate, it's affordable and good price for people same age as me

I’m a frequent traveler and this is one of my favorite hotels. Room is spacious and clean, slightly scented w lemongrass aroma, and the view of Surabaya is magnificent at night. Breakfast is themed on Indonesian “warung” = hawker foods and we can have it in beautiful lush garden. You can find Indonesian artifacts in many corners of the hotel, which makes this hotel really unique. This hotel really deserves the name “city resort” This property was used to be a Hyatt and maintains 5-star luxury ring with it. Located in CBD of Surabaya. If you don’t mind 1km walk, gigantic shopping mall (TP) is here for you. Gym/sauna/25m swimming pool for lap swimming/tennis court/jogging track are all there. Couldn’t like this place more!

Pro’s = - Spacious room - Was upgraded to a Deluxe room free of charge - location is exactly next to all of the ‘must try Indonesian food’ restaurants. From western, chinese, spanish bar, seafood, nasi padang..YOU NAME IT. Boncafe, warung sederhana, ayam bakar primarasa, sambal bu rudy, and more. - Complimentary Snacks and Drinks in the room - agoda offered the Best price of all booking sites - the staff remembers me even only been to the hotel once Con’s : - Some towels are old and need to be replaced - timy bathroom although there is a bathtub - toiletries need to be improved

Such a great room even though the view is the swimming pool and the city view is blocked by another building. I love the bed .. a 5 stars bed that 4 Asean people can sleep comfortably on it. The Tunjungan Plaza mall is just next to 4Points..very convenient to shop, to eat, and to pamper yourself. The reception staff..a nice lady..is very helpful. The buffet breakfast has a lot of varieties..from Indonesian food to the Western. Don't miss the Rawon soup with sambal kicap..very tender and nice eating it with the bread. Thank you for allowing to fill up my water bottle with the orange juice. The Bluebird taxi is always available and make it easier for you to go around Surabaya. Everything is great at Four Points Surabaya, and I will be looking for Four Points Jakarta and Bandung in Jan 2017. Very satisfied!

Excellent hotel to stay, I like cleanliness of the room, spacious bathroom. The staff is very attentive and willing to help. The front office staff, she tried her best to give us higher floor with non smoking room. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, I and my husband enjoyed very much the variety of buffet breakfast. We will sure coming back and stay at this hotel again on our next holiday to Surabaya. P&L from Perth Australia.

Very nice 4 star hotel. The hotel is undergoing renovation so the main entrance is now at the back at the hotel. On the Agoda page it is stated that the hotel has airport transport but that is no longer the case. When I complained about this the hotel arranged transport to the airport without charge and send some fruit to my room. Very good service! I had a very nice room at 19th floor which is a non-smoking floor. The room had recently been renovated and the view over Surabaya was amazing. The breakfast buffet was very good and consisted of both Indonesian and European style food. Two shopping centres within walking distance. A swimming pool would have been nice...

It was a wonderful stay from day 1. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is updated with a smart tv with a personalization for the guests which makes me feel so pampered! :) The room was huge and the wifi was good. the security in the hotel was also quite tight because you needed a card that only goes to your room level which was nice! however, everything was great until the day of check out. we had an early flight and we asked the staff to give us a wake up call in case our alarms did not work, and it did not but the staff only called us 1hr 40 mins later than the agreed time and it was just to confirm that we had booked a taxi 40 mins ago. we were lucky that we had already packed and because it was early morning and we went via the toll route, it took only 20 mins to the airport and because of our driver we did not miss our flight! i would still recommend this hotel because its location at taman bungkul is awesome, with access to good food just a mere 2 mins walk away. the service staff had all been very helpful prior to the day of check out and i believe everyone would enjoy the facilities provided! there is also wide variety of channels provided for the guests and a free minibar for consumption! :)

This is our first visit to Surabaya. Prior to this trip, we have only visited the smaller Indonesian islands such as Batam and Bintan. The 4-5 stars accommodation in these places is often over-rated. Hence, we went with zero expectation this time round. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the high level of service and attention to details. People We experienced warm hospitality from the entire service team (from reception desk, bell desk, room service, house cleaning, restaurant). A special mention goes to the bell desk staff (we forgot his name) who helped us secure Mount Bromo tour booking at such short notice. We went Surabaya mainly for Mount Bromo. Little did we know that the tour agency we have in mind was closed for Lunar New Year. So we were very grateful to have the hotel’s recommendation and are satisfied with the tour service. Location With vehicles travelling at an average speed of 30km/h in town, it is better to stay within walking distance to a big mall so you’ll save time and transport fee. The Ciputra Mall next door (sheltered linkway) is a great place to shop and has a wide variety of restaurants. Alternatively, you can easily get a cab to Tunjungan Plaza (approx 50k rupiah / 20mins travelling time), one of the biggest mall in Surabaya. Food We were blown away with the Buffet Breakfast spread. The quality is above averagr and I like the wide variety of juices. We have also used Room Service and find the quality good and service fast. Sleep Quality The mattress quality is great. Just the right amount of firmess. They also have 4 types of pillows for you to choose from upon request. Wifi Decent speed and it is FREE, enough said.

When you book into a Shangri la property you expect quality and this one in Surabaya lives up to the brand. I stayed for one night only and did not have enough time to experience all the hotel has to offer. It is truly a 5 star hotel with several restaurants, huge pool and large spa with sauna steam and jacuzzi. The Gym was impressive as well. The room is well appointed and comfortable. Staff was friendly and well trained. What impressed me most is the free wireless which is available all around the whole hotel and best of all not need to log on again in different places. It has a free shuttle to the mall nearby but the frequency seems a bit limited given the short distance. All in all a very good option when in Surabaya especially if you need to be west side of the city.

A five star hotel is basically not just the number of rooms and the high end facilities provided for guests. The most important is the the personal touch provided by the amazing, friendly and helpful staffs. Not many 5 star hotels offer this and focus on making money only. What i experienced at Wyndham Surabaya was the capability and the excellent service rendered by the staffs. I would say, they went the extra mile to make my stay a pleasant one!

Great location just opposite Tunjungan Plaza the biggest plaza in East Java. I stayed here a couple of ninths with my two young daughters and they loved it! The pool was always quiet and the perfect dept for them 1.2m (they spent most of their time here swimming. The Buffet Breakfast was excellent with great selections from traditional Indonesian to western food. The service was friendly and lovely. Room was clean, tidy and spacious enough for us. I requested a large bed but ended up getting a 2 king singles which was okay ( there is always a room for improvement) would highly recommend to friends and family. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great Service, very good welcome greeters, and very nice staff. very NEAR to the shopping town and many heritage spots in surabaya. very easy to find a local tour. and they are polite and honest also. very comfortable room, and very clean even for an old hotel. elevator/lift are very convinient. less waiting time because the hotel provide alot of lift/elevator. Great variaties of buffet breakfast, indonesian and western foods. great bellboy service. only one thing must be improve.. there is no WIFI/Internet connection can be use. maybe there is one in a lobby.

The hotel is quite new and provided the two things we were looking for - cleanliness and comfort. However, what really impressed us was the staff. We needed to book a train ticket for the next day and the reception staff readily helped us out by sending someone to the station and getting a ticket for us. Also, the breakfast spread was huge and included both Indonesian and western food. The hotel is quite close to the train station and a shopping mall which was convenient. Will definitely recommend.

The hotel is new, so as expected it's clean and smells good. It's close to a shopping mall (Around 10 min walk) and not far from the city centre. There was free WiFi, although the signal was weak from my room, but it wasn't too bad. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a little small, but clean. Overall, the hotel was nice and cosy and great value for money, but don't expect too much from it. After all, it's a 4 star hotel (3 stars for my standards), with an affordable price. I would go there again, but I recently found out that Ibis Hotel, not far from Crown Prince Hotel is better and cheaper.

even though i was only staying for one night, it was made enjoyable by the friendly staff. a huge selection of food for breakfast, from indonesian to oriental and the usual continental breakfast. the size of the room is perfect, which means that i can move around freely. the beds are big too, even though it is a single bed. another plus point is that the hotel provided a complimentary shuttle service to sogo. great hotel overall.

Friendly & helpful staffs (everyone I met from the security, front office staffs, house keeping staffs, gardeners, etc... literally everyone!), splurge breakfast (besides the buffet, they have several ala carte menu with touch of fine dining and it was very nice! I tried Lapis Tigan & Rawon Poached Egg), prime location, well-priced ***** hotel and for sure the property itself which is one of historical places in Surabaya, every corner of this hotel is a living postcard. The management do such a good job to preserve whole premises and keep them well-maintained. I had a memorable experience and for sure I will come back very soon. Stay for 2 nights in april 2013, the hotel is small with simple modern decor. Check in is very fast, good job for the front office. Hotel location in downtown, near the tunjungan mall, the biggest mall in surabaya. Room is modern, very clean, and bright with big glass window with wonderfull view from 12 floor. Also Can see the suramadu bridge from the room, nice. Alots of choice for breakfast, the pancake is delicious. Perfect choise for stay in surabaya

The Grand Hotel Surabaya is one of those hotel from days gone by. Some may call it kitschy, gaudy trying to display "faux grandeur" but we absolutely it. Our room was unfortunately near the main road and the beeping sound from the pedestrian crossing woke us up a few times in the middle of the night. Staff were helpful and friendly despite our broken bahasa indonesia. Also note that every room is a smoking room.

The building is new. Clean. The design is not as I expected since the hotel have "Marriott" name on its title. The design is more like for 3 star hotel. Not sophisticated at all. Bad garbage smell in the basement in the parking lot. I asked to borrow an iron, but they said they didnt have enough. And I booked for the next day to make sure I get the iron, after I complained then they got it for me. I understand it is not five star hotel which they always have iron and iron board in room. But at least they should have more for guests to use. And the service is slow. The staff seems working slowly, especially in reception area. And they always have only one receptionist and make the guests keep waiting. Breakfast is bad. Everything's cold. I prefer have my breakfast outside.

Stayed 4 nights in a superior twin bedroom (with 2 single beds) with my old mother., while visiting my son studying at Surabaya. Clean, quiet, ideal location with supermarket at ground floor and many restaurants (a few of them are Chinese restaurants) at shops around. Found 2 family massage parlors around too. Size of bedroom and bathroom are just alright, not very big or small, just no wardrobe, no fridge.. Hotel staff has been helpful to let me store my food item to fridge of hotel restaurant., and help me to communicate with Grab driver in Indonesian There is hot water for shower, just that water pressure is not that strong (my son told me water pressure at Surabaya is low in general), and maximum temperature can't be steaming hot. I like the wood flooring, instead of carpet flooring, that gives a cleaner feel. A big glass windows, but can't e opened for outside fresh air., so no mosquito too. No comment on hotel breakfast, as I booked hotel room without breakfast option.

At checkin they asked me for a 100.000 ird deposit which I thought was kind of odd for Indonesian standards. At checkout I had to ask to get this deposit back. This was the only thing I didn't like. The WiFi works very good and yes the room is small but OK for the money. It's surprisingly quiet, especially since the hotel is located on a busy street. The showerhead gives lots of water. Very good to clean your hair. Overall recommended.

Fantastic. Checking in was pretty ok. Queue got long and another staff came so I managed to check in within 10-15mins. As there were 2 of us we later on requested for 2 access cards for the room and they gave us very readily. that was really good. Room size was good. Bathroom was big. No bathtubs. Strength of water was good. Nothing to rave about the swimming pool. Wanted to swim but the pool was just below a huge tree. Not a fan to swim under a huge tree, many leaves, and possible insects. But their hotel's in house spa was pretty affordable. I went for the most economic basic massage (brochure is only in bahasa, so you will have to try and guess the generic sense of the content) Although aroma oil wasnt mentioned in the description, they used heated up oil for the massage that was really good, not sticky after massage. 1 hour massage (in house) was S$30 (that's pretty affordable). We went 1.5 hours, it was pretty good, strength and skills wise. They have their main restaurant that serves international menu (pasta and indonesian food) breakfast was international menu, but i didn't try. It looks good though, did take a peak. Their jap restaurant food was ok.. Fried tempura wasnt good. Udon was nice. Would definitely stay in the hotel again! Value for money and self sufficient hotel.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Swiss-Belinn Surabaya! This was our first time to try this hotel and we absolutely loved it. In fact, I'm planning to book my stay in Jakarta at Swiss-Belinn. The location is fantastic with so many great restaurants along the street...All within walking distance. Oh and they are very serious about the interior design of the hotel! So elegant! The only issue I had with my stay was noise from upstairs. I guess the ceiling is slightly thin or not so sound proof as I could quite clearly hear dragging of chairs and people's voices. But it wasn't to a bothering level. All in all, Swiss-Belinn is best bang for the buck hotel!

Staff service is very good. They give their personal handphone number and tell us that we may whats app them at any time whether we are in Surabaya or not. When they say that they will prepare something for you like a car(With payment) waiting to take you round the place and they make sure that they will do it. Very helpful staff. Bell Boy also tries his best to provide you with everything that you request for like old newspapers. The only problem is the driver that took us around does not speak English. As we speak a little Malay coupled with a little hand signal we could still communicate. For people who don't speak Malay / Indonesian big time trouble for you when communicating with the driver. Other than that his driving is okay. Manners is also quite good and polite. On the whole everything is okay except for the language problem.
