I've read lots of negative reviews about the car park being far away & hard to find the way to the lobby but I found that the way to the lobby was straight forward and it wasn't far at all. Once you get the parking ticket stamped at the lobby, your parking is free throughout your stay. What was great about the executive room was that it had an extra couch that would turn into a bed besides the double bed which gave us a comfortable sleep. The room was very clean, could see the Petronas twin towers from the room and the overall experience was great. I will definitely come back. Walk-in price is RM325 so you save 2/3 by booking through Agoda. Breakfast was ok. It's not the cheap bread and coffee type breakfast you get in budget hotels. They have a few different food to choose from. For the extra price you pay for breakfast, it's definitely worth it. The only reason I gave 2 stars for facilities is because I had no internet in the room, fridge was pretty much the same as the room temperature, and the hair dryer was broken. It seems like they don't do a lot of repairs on broken facilities. But I will still come back. The hotel room is clean and spacious. For a family with young children, or a group of 3 adults, I believe this is the best bang-for-buck room will get in KL.

To all those fussy travelers who want the best for your buck, don't expect 5 star luxury - just enjoy your getaway like how I did. Malls nearby: Jakel Mall and Lulu Hypermarket are best places to browse clothes and shoes. Eateries are mainly Indian Muslim and Malay cuisines. If you need a good morning nasi lemak or even a roti canai, head to Naina's across the road. Venturing down Jalan Masjid India, you may then have more choices of Indian food and sidewalk stalls to choose what your taste buds fancy.

Location-wise, this is definitely the best place to stay while you're in Jalan Masjid India / Jalan Bunus / Jalan TAR. It's situated close to the main shopping places in the area, food is plenty and public transport is fairly easy to catch here. This hotel however have to try very hard to compete with other businesses as they provide better facilities compared to Palace Hotel. Improve your staff's people skills, provide basic facilities (mini bar, ironing facilities) and improve cleanliness of the room; this way you'll be good for the long run. Nevertheless, I'll always come back here again.

multiple things didn't turn out well, but for the price and the location, a bit of improvement on the part of the hotel management's part would make this a great budget hotel. first, the good: in front of the hotel is a decent sized night market. behind the hotel is a day market. on saturdays, there's a crazy night market two streets over on jalan tar. now, ...multiple things didn't turn out well, but for the price and the location, a bit of improvement on the part of the hotel management's part would make this a great budget hotel. first, the good: in front of the hotel is a decent sized night market. behind the hotel is a day market. on saturdays, there's a crazy night market two streets over on jalan tar. now, there are multiple reviews say that this hotel is conveniently located next to the rail and even closer to mrt access. i disagree. the closest rail station is masjid jamek, which was a good 15 min walk. the mrt is bus access, and it is right behind the hotel, but the staff can't tell you what bus number...info was just not that clear. so we walked most of the time, which was fine. but for those who do not enjoy walking, kul is not that pedestrian friendly. other cons: wifi slow. the problem was that the fourth floor router was not working, and even though i made the staff aware of this, they could do nothing to fix it. instead i used the third floor router, which was weak. the walls are thin so do bring ear plugs. the toilets are not meant to take toilet paper. ours clogged, but the staff fixed it promptly. there's a leak above our bed. bottom line: there's potential here, but til things change, i will only consider this hotel if there were no other options.

i can find nothing bad to say at all. i have been to kl more times than most and have always found it very hard to find a hotel under that is better than poor. well, this place is better than it sounds, better than i thought it would be. ok the room is not big, but it is not small either, in fact it is the right size if like me, you are there 3 or 4 days and will spen...i can find nothing bad to say at all. i have been to kl more times than most and have always found it very hard to find a hotel under that is better than poor. well, this place is better than it sounds, better than i thought it would be. ok the room is not big, but it is not small either, in fact it is the right size if like me, you are there 3 or 4 days and will spend most of your time out of the room. in fact the room was so nice i spent more time in the room than i planned. wireless was superb so i worked a lot more than i thought i would be able to. the bed was superior in comfort terms so i slept best i have in ages. shower was lovely, with huge rain shower head and lovely hot water. the room even has large lcd tv, iron and board, kettle, tea and coffee, fridge, ll the sorts of things you normally only get in 5 star places. location is superb, about 5 minutes walks to masjid jamek lrt which takes you to the centre with 3 or 4 stops. kfc and 7 eleven just over the road and the restaurant next door sold some superb malay/indian grub. breakfast was also done there and was superb, really and truly as good as i can remember having anywhere. this hotel is not 5 star but in all regards one would consider, it is! the ladies at the desk addresses me to say hello with good morning or similar every time, made conversation with me and were smiley, happy etc. this was the first time in 8 years i had traveled alone (without wife or friend with me) so i was perhaps more apprehensive than normal, but i needn't of been as this place made me feel so at ease and at home. going back april and will stay here again 100%.

It is good to stay for sleeping. Security situation is good as hotel is in front of the police station(box). I never expect to hotel service without sleeping. It is close to the place for Merdeka parade about 10 mimutes walk. I enjoyed Merdeka Eve with Malaysian till 1 am. I also found the cheapest shop in KL near hotel, where selling Indian products.
