Haris hotel quite far from malang city, located before entering malang city. But yhis place is great for people who like enjoy nature and far from city more relaxing ( which i prefer ), if you want stay this hotel better bring own car, or there shuttle bus. Hotel haris need to control the cleaness when we came on around 3pm room not yet ready they said room still on processing cleaning, when room ready i saw blood spot on sheet we need to change it immediatly, also bathroom smell humid and there mold near soap tray, and also on the second day the cleaner didn't wash our glass they left. But overall for relaxing this hotel is best place i will comeback again

I have a great stay in Swiss-Belinn Malang. The hotel is clean and new. Good view and nice lobby. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They provide valuable info to me for tourist attractions. The hotel also provide taxi transfer which charge by meter. Wifi access is good and fast in guest's room. Breakfast is good. I stay for 3 days and they change 30% of foods daily, so you won't get bore with the foods. It is and added advantage if you have your own vehicle as there is only a shopping mall in walking distant (50m with covered walking path) and the rest of places require to travel by car. Most of tourist attractions located in Kota Batu which is 20 min from Malang town.

Tugu Malang Hotel is the one and only best five star hotel in Malang town. When stepping my foot on the entrance I could feel Javanese feature with its traditional style. This five star hotel really is the representation of Indonesia's richness especially in terms of culture. This five star hotel offers its cultural heritage which made it very beautiful hotel especially for expatriate or foreign visitors like me.

I think there is not much to say except that I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I've been to worse 5-star hotels! Nothing to complain about, the restaurant downstairs was really good, live band just nice (not too loud). Too chilly to swim when I was there so didn't try the pool but it definitely looked nice. The staff is really nice as they went out of their way to try to please us. Beware of taxis in Malang: they're impossible to find! Anyway, great hotel. Would love to come back.

This is a great hotel. Clean and huge rooms, staff is also nice. The pool is a bit small but it was too chilly to swim when I was there anyway. Breakfast buffet is very decent, large choice of Asian/Indonesia cuisine, less western options but that's not really an issue. I think the best thing about this hotel other than the fact that it's really high class and comfortable is that it is in the same building as one of the largest malls in Malang. So if you want to shop or dine you don't event need to find a taxi (which BTW are impossible to find, what's up with that in Malang???). Anyway, awesome hotel, no complaints.

After spending 2 nights enjoying hill-side entertainment at Batu, we spent 1 night at Malang, City. A Bali style hotel with excellent Bali hospitality. Some customers might be disappointed by the location but we love it for the various food stall during night and it has distances from main road. Pool is great, various good breakfast, and it does have spacious clean room. Stairs could be annoying for elder. Will I come again? Yes. Will I recommend it to others? Yes.

This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. When I informed the reception that this was my first time in Malang, he offered me to stay in the highest floor (6th floor). We stayed in Twin Bed Room with 2 double bed inside. Beds were comfy, there’s smart tv in the room. Breakfast was good! The reason why I did not give ten is because of the hot water problem. Malang’s temperature especially at night is quite low, without proper temperature, it was such an unpleasent experience to take shower at night. Wifi also quite slow. Overall experience was great except the hot water and slow wifi!

This is exactly a new hotel. Just open early September 2015 (if i'm not mistaken). The Hotel building still have a lot of finishing to do as it is connected to a shopping mall (not yet complete) but the hotel itself seem too be completed. The room was comfortable and standard. The hotel have their outdoor swimming pool (haven't a chance to try), but look nice to me. The location a bit far away from New Malang Kota Train Station and very close to Old Malang Kota train station. This hotel have a Rooftop Lounge as well with nice view of Malang City. Will stay here again if i have a chance to visit Malang again.

I spent a night in Hotel Santika Premiere Malang with my mother after we spent 2 nights in Batu before. We both really enjoyed spending our stay there. Our coming was friendly welcomed by the staff and the room was very clean and comfort. We were also pampered by varieties of food for breakfast with each of their own's delicacy. It was a worth night spent in Hotel Santika Premiere Malang and we will definitely stay there again whenever we're in Malang.

Got a chance to stay for a night. Horison Ultima Malang has a good commitment to develop and serve their customer in their best. Recall that they just launch its soft opening, they can raise a business hotel concept perfectly. Clean room, friendly staff, easy access and yummy food of course should be their strength to build a Horison image. Affordable but high class services. Well done Horison Ultima Malang!

this is my first time stayed at bw oj malang, that look a new hotel in town. so i book via agoda and get the best price include breakfast. so, when arrive and checking in they serve fast and easy. they gave me a highest floor at 11 level as my request. the room was spacious with twin single bed (120x200 bed size). my room is the best view, where city and mount view with a huge windows. the bad things was very noisy when the skyroom closed at midnite, because my room was under the kitchen. everything in this hotel is nice, good staff and good breakfast too. the pool in 3 floor is little and very cold, but the kiddos was fun. if you find for wasting the nite plz check to 12 floor, it's roof top sky room and they have pretty open lounge with great view. the internet access is available in the room and all public area in the hotel, but that's little bit slow. fasten in the lobby area.

Amaris is a well-known budget hotel chain in Indonesia owned by Santika group, and this one in Malang is a good choice for short stay. The staffs were attentive, the rooms were good, clean, and the breakfast, served in buffet style with Indonesian cuisine, was very good with variety of choices: hot meals, dedicated chicken porridge & soto (soup) buffet, coffee, tea, juices, fruits, but only white bread with toaster, margarine, and butter. Omelette or poached eggs were also available on demand. The wi-fi was good enough with satellite TV reception. The beds and the bathroom were clean and comfortable, so no complaints at all for the sleep quality. The aircon was not really cool, although Malang itself has a pleasant climate so no problem. The only downside was that there was no non-smoking rooms (mixed), so expect tobacco smell when you arrive, although it was not really significant. The beds were only available as twins and the pool is only for kids. Oh, and one more thing, the location was good and near the city centre. My summary: This budget hotel was really straighforward and there were only minor downsides that didn't really matter for me. Definitely will stay again at this place. Room Tip: Choose rooms that are near the elevators, since some rooms are located on the backside of the building, which is rather far, and the elevators are only located near the front.

This 4-star hotel has a spacious lobby, which is connected with a swimming pool, hotel’s cafe and restaurant. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and have a balcony. Breakfast menu had a lot of choices and delicious. The hotel is located on the edge of the main road from outside Malang to the center of Malang, making it easy to get a taxi or public transportation. This hotel also provides a shuttle car to the airport. Next to the hotel was the branch office of Garuda Indonesia airlines, and also ATMs from several banks. The hotel also has several meeting rooms for meetings, weddings or other events. Wifi was ok. The disadvantage was, this hotel was not new anymore. So that the furniture and conditions of some parts of the room are outdated or damaged. Need repairs and renovations in several places, especially in hotel rooms.

Stayed for 3D/2N in late Okt. 2017 for a working holiday with my family and our entourage. Booked 3 rooms through Agoda for 990 each, as the hotel website prices are outrageously expensive. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful in upgrading one our Premiere room to the Royal Suite (don’t expect much in the Suite btw). Rooms were classy, clean and cozy. Bathrooms quite small with shower in bathtub. Every time we showered there would be puddles of water on the floor, as the glass covering the shower bathtub only goes halfway. As other reviewers mentioned, the AC is quite loud and cold. Other reviewers also complained about the loud street noise in certain rooms closest to the Main Street, which I can vouch fo also in the Royal Suite. Excellent breakfast, very tasty (especially the tempe) probably typical of a Malang breakfast at home I would guess. Large clean swimming pool, small fitness center, great terrace for sitting and relaxing. Parking quite limited as the hotel is in a central residential area. Overall on of the best boutique hotels in Malang with limited facilities.

The place is comfortable although it’s an old hotel The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable There is a cable tv, but the tv is an old tv so the picture is not so good The bathroom is very old and the first water that came out smells awful But the again its worth it Because the location is perfect, near every top food in Malang And the staffs are very friendly

stayed at solaris malang 3 nights 20-23 march for business. hotel location was quite nice, although malang is quite a small city so everything is nearby. i booked the standard room with double bed. check in was quick and trouble free. room was clean with adequate space quite resembling the pictures of the room on the website. bathroom was quite standard and clean. breakfast was quite generous, with buffet of indonesian nasi goreng, sausages, etc. most hotel services are still under construction (spa, pool, etc). recommended for business travelers who do not spend lots of leisure time.

Hotel room was big and very clean with basic toiletries provided. Aircon in perfectly working condition. Bed was very comfortable and we had wonderful nights. However no mini fridge / cooler bar for our room. Breakfast with a fair spread of local food, bread, fruits, cereal, hot and cold beverages. Pizza Hut restaurant is just across the road and it is also a short drive from Mall Olympic Garden . Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfortable stay while in Malang.

We love the location of the hotel... Having lots of restaurants and lesehan nearby makes it so easy to get food no matter the time... The room was awesome too.... Very quiet and very, very comfortable... Only complaint we had was that the bathroom smelled of sewage water the first 2 days and the last night of our stay... We didnt know why but when we managed to close the bathroom door, the smell was gone... And the grime in the bathroom was a little unappealing too... Maybe something can be done to make the room the best... Other than that, we love the room... And the staffs especially Pak Kuswo was a great help... Will stay here again if we ever do stay in Malang...

although dated this hotel was generally clean. the room was very spacious with own bathroom. the staff were very helpful and friendly.it was not very central but a short taxi ride into town costing. the breakfast was simple but nice enough. we would stay again. we used malang as a base for visiting mt bromo at sunrise, which was fantastic. the reception staff made our reservation for the 'shuttle bus' for our onward journey to yogakarta, an excellent door to door service costing although long and bumpy also interesting scenery on route.

Clean, comfort bed. The single size is 120 × 200, is it still enough to sleep with 1 young children. The location is in quiet residential. At night (may be above 9p.m) the gates are close, so we have to drive around the blocks. May be the hotel management give an alternative route map to guest who gonna back at night. Friendly staff, simple staycation, simple amenities (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, shower cap, disposable sandals). Recommended !

I had a very nice stay here, actually, I prolonged for one extra night to take a day off on my month-long trip. Rooms are big and clean, but a little bit dark in my opinion, staff is fast and super-friendly, room service is nice. Although people at reception misinformed me - I wanted to rent a motorbike and was told that there is no such thing in Malang. 15 minutes later I was already driving, found small rental 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Food was nice. Location is very nice too, although in the centre, hotel is located on quiet street off the main traffic. Very nice hotel overall.

The room is clean and the location of the hotel is at the city center. The Main Reason of choosing this hotel is because of it location. Very near to the famous Toko Oen, Mosque and Alun-Alun Kota Malang. Very near to KFC and McD. For backpackers, the Angkot will stop in front of the hotel. The angkot code is "AG" or "GA" if not mistaken and the en route is Terminal Arjosari. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast served is very nice but limited. Overall, this hotel is good for those who travel to malang with public transport.

I booked a room for 3 adults for 1 night last saturday. At first, i was so doubt of this hotel. The price was the cheapest and the photos are not so clear. But after 1 night stay, i would say that i'm gonna stay at this hotel again when visit malang. The standard room for 3 adults is very minimalist, but it's clean and the bed is comfort. The carpark is available for about 20 cars. I don't think that i would find another hotel with the same price and same quality with great location as this.

We stopped by in Malang to visit Mount Bromo. We walked from the train station, which was a little far, but we were too tired to deal with taxi drivers who target us because we're foreign female travelers. We arrived very early, so the hotel staff allowed us to sleep in the lobby. When we finally got to the room, it was a relief how clean it was. The place felt brand new! But two issues: the room is TINY and the sun hit the room directly so it was very hot. Not much we can do about the space, but thank goodness for thick curtains and strong AC. The hotel staff were very helpful about giving us advice on restaurants to visit and a good tour company for visiting Mount Bromo. Sadly, due to volcanic activity, we could not get close to Mount Bromo so keep that in mind if you visit Malang for Mount Bromo.
