the location is great, within walking distances to every key tourist attractions, e.g. musee du louvre, av des champs-elysees, arc de triomphe and shopping areas of st honore street is just right around the corner, department stores like lafayette, printemp is also in 15 mins walk too. the subway station madeleine is in 5 mins walk, very convenient. the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful too. we want to join a day tour to les chateau de la loire and the staff is so nice to recommend us to a tour organized by the local travel agencies and describe to us in very details of how to find the location of the agencies. we end up have a great day of the tour to the castles. le burgundy is a highly recommended hotel to stay for leisure and honeymoon!

The hotel is located within walking distance of the louvre museum. There is also a supermarket, money changer and lots of cafes around the corner. The room is quite small which they say is typical of paris hotels but nicely decorated. There is even an espresso machine! Breakfast was the best! There is also a rooftop with lots of chairs wherein you can relax.😊 The only drawback is that one of the staff at the lobby was kind of a snob.

Apart from the early slight inconvenience of the taxi not being able to find the hotel (we end up being dropped off nearby and having to walk to look for the hotel) and some noise from construction work outside the hotel in the early morning and late night revelers, I am pleased with my choice. Ref finding the hotel, it would have helped if on booking, there were instructions to us on how to locate the hotel. I had a apartment for 4 of us and it was adequate with a double bed and a fantastic sofa bed for 2. Room cleaning was not the best I have come across but adequate. More importantly, for non french speaking visitors like myself, the hotel staff well helpful, fully conversant in English and helped in giving directions to the metro and areas of interest. Its also walking distance to the Lourve museum. Little touches like readily available hot beverages in the lobby area are fantastic coming back into the hotel after a day out in the cold in December. Availability of food is not an issue as there are many restaurants to choose from nearby the hotel.

The hotel's location is great for easy walking access to many key Paris attractions (eg the Louvre, the Tuileries, rue Faubourg St Honore) yet is not in a super touristy part of the city. Quiet location which is good for light sleepers. The room was easy enough for my father (who uses a cane) to walk to after we decided to leave the wheelchair in the luggage room (could not fit into small lift). The room & bathroom was comfortable and as we had a deluxe room was probably larger than to be expected in Europe. The staff were friendly and helpful esp when i misplaced my handphone in a taxi. And the breakfast room was cheery and the food selection was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay, we got upgraded to the suite on top of the hotel that is like an apartment, it has kitchen / dining zone, also washing machine everything convenience, then seperate living area is big, and seperate bedroom connected to great size bathroom, the suite has amazing view; which is the left window of the suite u are facing totally the Jardin des Tuileries, and on the right window of the suite u will see paris rooftop and monmartre.....really amazing.....!!

The room was perfect. It was big enough to fit all three of our large luggages. The staff were very helpful in all aspects and they speak English very well. I love how you need your room card in order to enter the hotel itself, the elevator, the stairs and the room. It seemed perfectly safe which I feel is not usual around other hotels especially boutique hotels. The location is perfect! Like a 10 min walk to the louvre, the jardin de tuileries.

We stumbled upon this hotel on Agoda, it does not have any review but as the pictures shown here looks really good, we decided to take our chance and we found a gem in the centre of Paris! Little did we know that this hotel has only been opened for a week. It has not even had their opening ceremony yet. The perk of this is of course that everything is brand new. Check-in time is 4pm but we arrived at the hotel at 11am after a tiring flight with our luggages. The staff at the counter was very understanding and helpful, and immediately arranged with the house-keeping to get a room ready for us. We were very grateful as this made our day by allowing us to bathe, get a clean change of clothes and freshen up before we go sightseeing. Situated in 01, it is well situated between 2 metro stations (Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre and Châtelet – Les Halles ), just steps away from Musée du Louvre and Centre Pompidou. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shopping in both areas. Also, Rue Saint Honore (Colette) is just round the corner. Many cafes and restaurants just down the street as well. The hotel is conceptualised by renowned french designer Ora-Ito. The aesthetics of every fixture and minute detail is being looked into. Was impressed by the choice of material for the sink, shower, light switch, bathroom amenity bottles and the gradated glass panels for shower area. The bed and duvet was very comfortable. We had our best sleep here for our 14 days trip. A perfect ending to our honeymoon.

Its a nice hotel, with a big lobby- a rare thing in Europe-. The location its fine, and within 10 to 15 minutes walk, you are near de Seine, Louvre, Notre Dame, Rue Rivoli, etc. One thing we like in this hotel in the interior garden. We can stay there in the end off the day ( it was September, so the temperature was fine) and enjoy the silence, forget that te hotel its in Paris center. The staff was nice helping you, and with a reasonable english. If someone wants to visit Paris, i think this hotel its the good option. Very close to the hotel there is a large number of restaurants, from french, to italian, chinese, thai or cuban cuisine. And Les Halles are just 5 steps away....

This hotel was a great surprising find in the heart of the busiest tourist location and shopping precint of Paris. Just off Rue de Rivoli ,from the service, staff helpfulness to the sizable room sizes and comforts right in the center of paris makes the hotel an invaluable find. Walking to the Louvre,Le Halle,the River Seine, with two 5 minute walk metro stations or the Paris bicycle rental stations makes the travel options so accessible. Eateries like Julien's patisserie and fresh breads at 6 pm, to the smaller dining places makes picking up a last minute meal is so easy before returning to the hotel to rest after a days sight seeing in Paris.

The location of the hotel was excellent (directly opposite the east end of the Louvre). The room was small as expected and the rate was much higher than I normally would pay for. However the location was unbeatable and was easy to walk most places by foot eg. Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Ile de la Cite, Centre Pompidou. The room appears to have been recently refurbished as appliances and shower look new. The hotel staff were very friendly. Overall I was quite satisfied with the stay.

Couldn’t wish for a better situated hotel. Walked everywhere, from Louvre and Tuileries Gardens which are around the corner, to Arc de Triumph and Champs Elysses, Place de la Concorde even Eiffel Tower. Did i mention Chanel flagship store a block away. Actually there are TWO Chanel stores now right next to each other and to the hotel. Staff was wonderful, room great with big bathroom with a lot of counter space that is much appreciated by two girls traveling. Try Pierre Herme chocolates across the street.Little bites of heaven :P The bartenders at Flotte’s bistro across the street are very friendly and entertaining and make great cocktails. Would absolutely stay at hotel Cambon again.

travel with my parents, my dad has knee problems.... couldn't walk so much stairs and we were bringing 3 heavy luggages. Thanks so much for the boss and staffs helped us to carry our luggages to our room and leaving. The room is nice and the location is very convenient. Beside the hotel has a vietnamese food restaurant, has a supermarket nearby too. walking distance to quite a lot a places.

Hotel Brighton is a charming small hotel facing the Tuileries Garden. A decidedly blessed location, with the Louvre to the left, the Musee D'Orsay across the river and the Eiffel Tower on the right, the view is spectacular from the rooms facing the Rue de Rivoli. Despite the full length windows which open onto a sort of balcony, the noise from the busy street was minimal.The staff at the hotel were all very professional, courteous, pleasant and helpful. All the staff that we interacted with spoke English very well

The boutique hotel is close to metro (pyramides) and 5 mins to the louvre! It is also amidst shops, restaurants and a small convenience store for general groceries just round the corner. The hotel may not be very visible, that's why we feel it is a hidden gem in that area. The lobby is small but tastefully decorated. We felt welcomed. Check in was fast, the lady was friendly and helpful to recommend restaurants n places to go. We had the 'grand palais' room, which was big, clean, new and contemporary. We love the room very much, which comes with 2 separate bathrooms (standing stall n bath tub) and a separate living area. We felt the bed to be alittle soft. The room is well-lit, by day n night. Nice complimentary toiletries. Only a bottle of water provided for our 3 nights. Luckily it was easy to buy bottles of water from shop nearby. We felt very at home in this hotel. The breakfast area is cosy with decent spread of bread, ham, cheese and drinks. The madam at the breakfast place is very friendly and attentive. Her service, her friendliness and her smiles is worth commending. She is the best person we have met (for our trip). Oh yes, there is a nice sweet little reading area too, just above the reception with coffee machine, nice sofa and books n magazines.

For a first time in Paris this was an excellent base for these Aussie visitors. Our room was very 'french' the staff very helpful, the hotel breakfast our first choice each day, the shops and cafes just around the corner and the whole experience a delight. We expected to use the metro but from the hotel we could catch a hop on hop off bus 2 blocks away and the water buses likewise. Being in the First district just a block from the River Seine is just the best. Having waded through countless B&B and hotel offers, we believe this was the best choice by far. Fantastique!

The hotel room is quite comfortable with the home-like design. The staff was very helpful when my room have some problem and other information. The hotel can access to Louvre and Metro very easy. The hotel also have gym avaliable. The area is full of restaurant and bar. Lastly, during my stay the hotel have a free bottle welcome wine promotion, this is really surprise me for the 3 star hotel, hope you get one too.

Positive comments: the central location of the hotel meant that we were able to get to many places easily, either by walking, using the Metro or bus. The staff helped us with directions and advice on how to get to places. They helped us find a local laundry to do washing (we were on a long trip and hotel laundries are too expensive). After trying other local cafes, their breakfast was the best value around. Despite all the restaurants nearby, there was no noise at night that disturbed our sleep. We felt it was good value for money. Negative comments: the room is 'compact'. The two of us fitted in OK but it was a tight squeeze. We were there in autumn/fall and often needed too open the window to cool the room. Wouldn't want to be there in summer.

Our stay is great, close to main attractions in walking distant, even our booking said no breakfast but they gave us breakfast inclusive. Room is nice and comfy, only downer is no kettle and not good hair dryer. Our flight was in morning so we have to leave our luggage but staff kind enough to let us early check in cuz we have a baby. The hotel close to a lot of nice japanese restaurant too

five years ago, as a college student, i visited paris for the first time, and i stayed in mayfair hotel paris. its location was my main reason of choice, jardin tuilerie, or vendome, louvre, champs elysee...most import for me was the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honor, the famous haute culture, jewls, and chocolates, macaroon. i didn't go to any of the famous site, but walked around little lanes, eating pains au chocolate, and window shopped all night long, it was memory. many years later, i moved to paris, and lived here for two years, at the last three days, i checked into mayfair hotel again, for savour the same memory and to say goodbye where i came. i chose here is because of this, the memory and sentimental meaning.

My husband, mother, and almost 2 year old recently stayed at this hotel and loved it. The staff were so attentive during our stay. On our last day, while waiting for the taxi to pick us up, the staff made sure to have warm milk for my son's bottle and made us delicious coffee. I'm not sure if all of the rooms are two stories but ours was, so that made it a little nerve wrecking having an active toddler in the room. If you do have a young child who loves to climb everything like mine does, this place might not be the right one for you. :) The location is perfect, only a few blocks from the Louvre and many restaurants in the area to choose from. We'd definitely stay again.

We felt great and comfortable of staying in Hotel Montpensier, just less than 5 minutes walking distance to Musuem Lourve, Place de Concorde and Palaise Royal - Musee de Lourve Metro station. About 15 minutes walking distance to Opera Garnier and Galaries Lafayette if you want for Branded bags shopping,snacks and restaurant easy to find. Free Wifi just request for the ID and password on individual basis. The staff very helpful. But the Lift pretty small, only able to allocation one person one luggage. Generally, very satisfy to stay in this hotel, Strongly recommended if you looking for budget,clean hotel, and near to attraction spot.

This hotel was a great choice for me because of its central location. I walked to all the places that I had wanted to go on this trip - the Lourve, Centre Pompidou and Galleries Lafayette. And on my walks, I got to see and discover so much more of Paris - places to eat, shop and learn more from. My room at the Best Western met all my expectations and their staff were all friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel, definitely a 2 star facility. If you are expecting 4 star services or three star room ammenities look elsewhere. This is a basic hotel in the exciting restaurant area north of Notre Dame. The location is great close to the Metro and RER, near to the Louvre and Notre Dame cathedral. Close to the Batobus station at Hotel de Ville. The shower is small, the elevator is small, the hotel is tall with 6 stories, the circular staircase is not for the faint of heart. The beds are comfortable, the water hot, the fan works (no air conditioning) and the view from my window was great. Sure there is street noise but this is a happening place with street restaurants right below and coming and goings until 2.00am. If it is hot you will need your window open, if you need quiet you'll need to bring ear plugs. For me it was a good choice as it was where I needed to be, I liked the crowds, the noise and the feeling of being at the heart of Paris night life.
