Hotels near JBR Beach

Great location on the marina. Friendly and helpful staff. No bar in hotel but there is a restaurant but we didn't use. Pool small but adequate. Not a lot of sunbeds but when we went in November it wasn't a problem . However the sun was only at the pool in the morning so if this is important to you this is not the place for you. A lot of the hotels were the same. We had a deluxe apartment which was very spacious and clean. Although shower is over the bath, I prefer a separate shower but it wasn't a problem. There was 3 balconies although only 2 chairs and small table in one of these. It was cleaned daily and towels changed if you left at the request card on outside of door handle. Not many utensils etc in kitchen.Perfectly situated. 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro station (Damac Properties station). Plenty of nice restaurants in the vicinity and nice shopping malls too. JBR beach and area also 10-15min walk away. Very safe area but there is virtually no crime in Dubai anyway.

amwaj rotana is located right on the beach overlooking the arabian gulf, the location is great - although it is on jbr and the walk, the place where it all happens in dubai, it is located to the side so it is quiter than its rival hotels. the service was very nice - i got a free upgrade to a suit upon arrival. the room was great albeit i would say it is in need of minor refurbishment, looked a bit 'tired". the minibar was probably one of the most expensive ones i've ever seen in a 5-star hotel with 15 bucks per 50cl of cheap whiskey. the hotel organizes themed buffet dinners on most days of the week with indian cuisine on tuesday when i visited. the buffet was ok at best, nothing special, rather a disappointment. overall a very good hotel for the price i paid although not up to the standard of ismilar-priced sofitel and movenpick located next door. will only stay here when i can get the very good rate i got this time.

Great location on the JBR walk, right on the beach, which is private only for the hotel guests. Everything is close by within max 5 min walk, restaurants, cinema, kids play areas, supermarket, pharmacy. Ideal worry-free holiday here. Very helpful people like Lydia at the front desk and very nice and kind Lydia in the executive lounge makes the stay even better. :) See you soon in October for the Expo.

I stayed at Movenpick JBR Beach for 5 nights and enjoyed my time really well. The hotel is at the most premium location of The Walk at JBR Beach. The beach is about 5 mins walk. All the restaurants, cafes, clubs are at a walking distance. The hotel itself is amazing. SOPs relatd to corona were very well followed. They provided masks and sanitisers at the time of check-in and everything in the room was sanitised when I arrived. They even give freshly sanitised kettle, cups whenever you ask them. The room has a really calm and relaxing view of the pool, and the gardens in the compound. The hotel has a really good restaurant, sheesha lounge, sports bar, and an open air bar/restaurant as well. I really enjoyed my stay and would like to thank the staff at Movenpick for making my time there really good. I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was amazing . The hotel was fantastic providing excellent customer service . Should be a 5 star rating . We stayed in a 3 Bedroomed Suite which was fantastic so spacious with fantastic views of the beach . The staff were very friendly . Awad at reception was great , smiling at all times . Deepak our room attendant was also fantastic ensuring that our room was kept clean and tidy at all times . I would definetly return to this hotel as our whole experience was of 5 star standard . Well done to the team at Double Tree Hilton Dubai JBR I will be returning .

Good value for the money. 10 minutes to JBR beach, 5 mins to marina mall. The fitness room is okay but not as comprehensive as a normal gym (just like most other hotels). The kitchenette was well equipped but you may need to buy a cleaning sponge cause housekeeping won't clean the dishes for you (they may just rinse them and give u the false impression that they got cleaned)

The JBR Walk, with its long, safe, beach-oriented location is simply the best place for families to base their stay. The Hilton apartments are spacious and have all the benefits of an apartment with the additional benefit of the facilities at the Hilton hotel, which is connected to the apartments by a walkway. The JBR Walk has a selection of different places to eat from Starbucks, Paul and Tim Hortons (next door), to Ladure and other more upmarket restaurants. There is also a Carrefour Supermarket nearby if you prefer to cook your own meals. The Marina Mall with its great restaurants at Pier 7, excellent Waitrose Supermarket and good entertainment facilities for children (children's play centre), is a 5 min taxi ride away. Mall of the Emirates is about 15mins taxi ride. Taxis were always available on the Walk. The (relatively minor) complaints I have are: 1. The washing machine was always faulty, resulting in shrinking several new items of clothing that the hotel never took responsibility for. They replaced the washing machine after trying unsuccessfully to fix it, but the new one was also faulty and required a lot of banging and switching on and off to make it work. 2. The lobby area is VERY hot. They have large fans blowing to cool it down in the summer but that just causes the lobby to smell bad and is not terribly effective. 3. The elevators are slow and you often have to wait a long time for them, especially when occupancy is high. 4. Don't bother calling the 'Guest Services' number because they never answer! I tried multiple times and ended up always calling the operator instead.

We were 4 people so shared the suite. We did expect a spacious room, but this was huge. Huge as in two separate large bedrooms each with it's own private bathroom large enough for a tub, then a third bathroom for guests and one separate room for the last toilet. The kitchen was as large as you normally see in houses, and the living room was larger than many apartments. The attitude, politeness and service mindedness of the staff was also exemplary, though, I could not say the same of their ability to organize. Just to book a single tour took them 5 different phone calls to confirm and re-confirm up and down, and since I was not by the phone all the time it was me who had to call back (international call) because they did not call a second time. Also note that although practically on the beach, this hotel does not have its own beach and the nearest beaches were the most expensive. And for an older couple, to get down to the beach could prove to be more burdensome than it may look on the map. Third, Dubai is a big city and a taxi/train ride into the center could take to about an hour. The value for money was however well above par and staying at the Marina was wonderful. The restaurant served some delicious food too.

The hotel is a great value considering neighboring hotels are much more expensive for similar quality. This was my second stay at the hotel. Almost all of the staff remembered us and were very friendly. The pool is nice and the rooms are nice and clean. Very comfortable beds and excellent balcony in every room with an ocean view and pool view. Many great restaurants on the Walk and close to the beach. Hotel provides towels and mat for the beach. They also have a kids club zone where you can drop your child off. You may want to do this if you plan to go to Girders, as they do not allow children in at anytime of the day, even noon. This was upsetting as we wanted to stop in and get fish and chips. The only option for a family to eat together during the day is by the pool, which is not gonna happen during hotter months, or room service. Breakfast wasn't very great either. Salon did a great job with my wife's hair. All in all a good value.

Very friendly, helpful staff, really great five star facilties, excellent beach and everything was super clean. Atmosphere for guests was very relaxed, with plenty to do both in the hotel and the adjacent JBR area - our 10 day stay was perfect. Can't wait to go again! On a 2020 note, the hotel's COVID procedures were very thorough and staff appeared to be very diligent in ensuring compliance - felt very safe.

Really nice friendly staff who made the stay a real difference! Excellent hotel which is just a short walk to the Marina area. However, it takes a bit of scenic walk to get to Dubai Marina Mall. Driving to the mall or JBR Walk is best avoided during the peak hours as traffic can be quite heavy. Clean rooms with very nice ocean view and the staffs really followed the requests for the cot and bed arrangements. Really Enjoyed our stay here. Keep it up!

i really loved my the stay, but i have some comment: - the room was super cleaned expect the exterior windows. -the hotel has a private beach "azure" and its tending right now, the bad news is all the sun bed are RESERVED , and the hotel didnt save a share for his hotel guests. - i couldnt use my member ship with rixos due to the hotel is still not connected with the rixos chain -the pool bar and resturants dont accept adding the pill on the room, as well as i cant go to the beach with my wallet. over all its was nice stay, just need some time. thank you ❤

One of the best hotel I have staying in Dubai. The location near JBR beach, metro station DMCC. Hotel room was nice. And The service on top. They have free shuttle bus to the beach, Marina mall and Metro. The alternative rooms was amazing. Net cafe, tv room, fitness rum was perfect & kleen. The pool was small but good. Next time I go to Dubai again. I will stay at Rove.
