Find hotels in Jhongli Zhongzheng Park

Before I booked this hotel, I've read a lot of reviews, and some were not that good, so my husband and I weren't really expecting much. But we were surprised to arrive at a grand hotel smack right in Zhungli. When I booked this hotel, I didn't even know it was 5-star, I just searched for a decent priced hotel near the airport (we had an early flight the next morning), but also at the same time with some activity - I do not want to stay next to a highway. We weren't disappointed. Admittedly, the area was a bit 'dead' when we went to search for lunch at 2pm. But come evening, the town became alive, and the best thing was the hotel was only 5 minutes away from Zhungli Night Market. We walked through the park opposite the hotel and it was a very relaxing last night in Taiwan for us. Because we were only there for a day, here's what we found: 1. Comfortable bed (always very important for us) 2. Clean 3. Quiet 4. Complete and good toiletries 5. Great service 6. Near the night market They do have other facilities as well but we didn't have enough time to explore the hotel. It took us about 20 minutes to the airport @ 600TWD without traffic (6:30am!). So overall I think it was excellent. :) Will stay there again for a final night in Taiwan so as not to have to rush to the airport. In our one day's stay there we managed to go to Daxi for the flower oceans as well as the night market, so I would say our time was well-spent! :)

This hotel was such a pleasant experience. We live in Taiwan and have stayed in many hotels around the island and this one is one of the best. The rooms are clean and don't smell like cigarette as in most places we've stayed, including 5 stars hotels. It is a family oriented place so there were lots of kids, but the room sound isolation was quite good. We had dinner in the dim sum style restaurant and the food was amazing, the price was good for the portions you get. The facilities are nice and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious, there's a huge variety, in my opinion the best hotel breakfast we've had in Taiwan. I'm vegan and there were tons of options for me. And finally the hydromassage pool was so good, you go through different stops that are numbered and massage different muscles, by the very end you feel so relaxed, I loved it. Oh! Also the hot spring tub and area in the room is very clean and spacious. All in all our experience in this place was amazing.

We stayed in this Fullon Hotel Jhongli for few times and mostly for a day before we depart back to our country. It's because this hotel is very near to giant night market which is Jhongli night market. Room especially spaces and wide very comfortable and although centrally located around train, bus station and shopping area but it is very quiet in the room. I believed it's because there is a sound blocked well built for the windows. So it's actually quiet inside the room itself. I always request for high floor and not to disappointed this hotel really gave me the high floor I need everytimes. I can't count how many times I been stayed in this hotel already and it is my choice everytimes we visiting Jhongli Tao Yuan. Thank you for Fullon Hotels Jhongli. Surely we will come back again.

We paid the price of less than $1,900 to reserve a standard double room on Saturday night. The room is bright and smells no cigarette smoke. The hotel offers free WIFI for all inhouse guests for both in the room and in the hotel compound. There is an extra blanket in the closet in every room. The all-you-can-eat breakfast is varied and fruity. There is a free parking lot in the basement. The staff at the hall counter is very friendly. It is about 15 minutes walk from hotel to the Zhongli Tourism Night Market.

The name of this hotel seems to chsnge very often... that is weird but ok. The terrible thing is that if you book in Agoda the real name of the hotel is never revealed so it's almost impossible to find it. Good luck with that. Other than that remember that half of the room have no window... so forget about the positive reviews telling about the nice view. The place is otherwise clean and nice, size of the rooms is big, bed is good quality. I found one switch was broken so they hid it behind a table to keep it into the wall hole... weird. There is a coffe machine in the lobby, is kind of nice. Location good and silent otherwise.

Best low price for a quality 3-star hotel. It is very close to Huanbei MRT station, less than 100 meter, 2 to 3 minute walk. The hotel is very responsive and accommodating to my requests (adjoining rooms, non-smoking, big bedroom) prior to the booking. The hotel bedroom is spacious, even enough for 3 persons. Bottled water, tea sachets and hot water are all provided in the room. The restroom is very clean. TV channels include a few English stations (HBO, AXN, Starworld). They are serving buffet Taiwanese breakfast consisting of plain rice, rice porridge, sauted pork and mushroom, vegetables, bread (with bread toaster, butter/margarine, strawberry, peanut), coffee, milk and juice. A very nice and quality breakfast indeed for a 3 star hotel. As to the receptionists and hotel staffs, they are very accommodating. They tried their best to assist even though they cannot understand/speak English. Thank you very much, Cloud Hotel! We will definitely in this hotel again!

The hotel is nice, the place is homey and instagramable. The receptionist can understand English and was very accommodating and kind enough to give a map of the mall, convenient stores, restaurant near the area. Infront on the other side is bus stop going directly to Taipei Main Station (bus 1212 I think). 7/11 is 5-10 mins walk from the hotel, the nearest convenient store is hi-life. There is a night market near the area. The bed is comfortable and the room is elegant and looks nice. The nearest station is Huanbei (A21) but it's 15-17 mins walk from the hotel. No near tourist spot though. Overall we had a nice stay.

I had a great stay at Hotel Mu, The rooms are compact, but quiet and very clean with everything you need. The hotel restaurant is good. For dinner or late night meals there are great local restaurants around. There is a fantastic local fast food restaurant just a few steps away that is open all night. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I got there at about 11pm at night and I was amazed that there were still so many staff there to greet me and help. I stayed here as a one night stopover during an Airport transit. I found I could get to the hotel from the Airport to the Hotel by bus in about 45 minutes for only NT$48 (around US$2). 1. After passing through the immigration and customs at the airport arrivals hall, go to where the Bus signs lead. There will also be signs saying bus to Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR). 2. Go to the UBUS ticket window and buy a NT$30 ticket for bus 705 to the Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) Taoyuan Station. Intervals: 5 - 20 mins. Trip length: 25 minutes. Buses run from 0615-2245. So if you get there after 10:45pm you will have to take a Taxi to the hotel (or you can take the taxi to the THSR and then take a Taxi to the hotel which will be cheaper). 3. After arriving at the Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) Taoyuan Station just get off the bus and walk a few feet towards the right at the same bus bay until you see the sign and bus number 170. (all the buses are at Platform 1, Gate 5 of HSR Taoyuan Station) Bus 170 costs only NT$18 to go to the Zhonli Bus Station. Pay the driver and it is best to have exact change. Operation Hours From THSR Taoyuan Station: 07:00 – 23:45 From Zhongli Bus Station: 06:20 – 23:05 Trip Length 20 minutes 4. Exit bus 170 at Zhongli train station (the last stop), walk along Zhongzheng Rd. for 750 m (about 8 min), turn left to Zhongyuan Rd., then turn left again on Bo’ai 3rd Rd., and you will find Hotel MU on your left side. (Takes approximately 10 minutes)

While Jhongli isn't usually high on everyone's travel itinerary, I stayed here as a middle point between the airport, Hsinchu and Taipei, and it worked very well. While like all hotels in its class it was showing its age, but the interior was fine, and the room was large and spacious, and much larger and cheaper than the same would be in Taipei. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from Jhongli Station, which is itself about half an hour from Taipei (fastest train), so it would be worth considering if Taipei hotels are full (or expensive), especially if you have a few days. It would also make a good stopover hotel (from Taoyuan airport), but as a tip if you miss the airport bus to Jhongli take the high speed rail shuttle bus to Taoyuan Station and then take the bus from there to Jhongli train station, and then get off a stop or two before the station and you can walk to the hotel. The breakfast was a simple, traditional Taiwanese breakfast, with a few good vegetarian options. I would recommend it and would stay there again.

frankly, we were very disappointed when we arrived at the building. it looked like an old office block with no indication that this is a hotel. we were ushered to the the lift that took us to the 23rd floor that house the hotel lobby. it was one of those traditional and old fashion hotel lobby reminiscent of the 80s.let's just say this hotel has seen beter day sand passes it prime. however, we were very surprised by the size of our room. it was huge! we booked a junior suite and it turns our much bigger than we anticipated. it was at least 1.5 times the size of our suites we have stayed in and even bigger than our 2 900 sft condo apartment back in singapore.this was a great room, abielt still rather stuck in the 80s in its decor. we need some directions to a few tourist attractions including sun moon lake and the hsr station to get to taichung and the concierge a mr peter azuma was just superb. he researched all the details for us, printed the relevant materials and even called his wife at the visitor center at sun moon lake to take care of us. the porter was also exceptionally helpful and making all the taxi arrangements throughout our stay. all our misgivings about the facilities and age of the hotel vanished into thin air with this kind of staff and service, all the hotel needs is a major refurbishment to spruce up its appearance,then it should be able to rank alongside the very best in its category.

Great service, and great price. You don't find any hotel with such location, service and room for this price. The only one problem for me is the bathroom. The hanger for your towel right cross the the shower. You can not hang any towel when you shower. Towel get wet when you shower. Also you need to lock the door when you get out of your room. Door of your room won't automatically locked when you go out. Except these 2 problems, everything is perfect.

Reminds me of some Korean/Japanese motels. A large room with an uncomfortable bed. My room had no AC, just a fan. Then I moved rooms when my Internet wasn't working and discovered I then not only had AC, but also jacuzzi bubblers in the bath! It was a very nice stay for a reasonable price, and very close to Jhongli Station. Rooms are a bit old, though some may have been recently renovated.

Part 2: Checking-in and out were easy and immediate and had no problems despite arriving at past 2am. We were immediately handed our room key, located at the 9th floor. Upon entering, the room had a distinct smell that I can’t describe but eventually got used to it. The room has ample space to move around. No closet, just hooks with 2 hangers. The bathroom was large, which we appreciated and water pressure was good. The hot and cold mechanism for the shower was simple and easy to use. We had twin beds and we found them comfortable, with 2 fluffy pillows on each bed. I earlier said not to be intimidated, because the location might not be as good, but the room we had was almost comparable to 4-star hotels. It was clean and the aircon was quiet and working well. No in-room bar, though, but not really a problem. TV channels are all Taiwanese so we weren’t able to use it. Breakfast buffet has several options, but really did not appeal to us as their menus are all Taiwanese food (we think). They provide all basic stuff including slippers. In summary, we liked our stay at Lido Holiday and with the amount we paid we like it better as it’s true value for money.

It is a very basic business hotel. The location is quite ok, about 10 minutes walk to Chongli Railway station. I slept over so have no comment on breakfast. What impressed us most is the service. We arrive late (about 2:00 a.m.) but the receptionist greeted us with a big smile. The room was quite big in size and the beds were big enough for a family of 4. As it was a new year eve, Taipei hotels were charging $12,000 oer night on average. This one was $2,000 only. We checked out at about 12 noon. Another young receptionist patiently told us where to eat, the route to Window on China, and even offered transport. Very satisfied with this hotel.

We were given free upgraded to executive room. The room is small, however it is very clean and neat. The hotel is located within 5mins walk to Sogo shopping mall on the left, and lots of small eateries on the left. Zhongli train station is also nearby. There is a free self-service laundry room, providing convenient for traveller who needs to get some laundry. This hotel is best for business traveller. However, breakfast provided is normal

I love their breakfast and it our 1st breakfast at Taiwan, although we only stay 1 night, the staff are good and friendly, we request to leave the hotel early, as we need to catch up the train at around 7am, they say breakfast will be serve at 7am++, end up they change another breakfast to us, which is yummy.. they just left it at the doorsteps, maybe to avoid disturb us from sleeping. Hotel is cheap and not for fussy customer. It super near to the train station, but it can be hard to locate the hotel, as we walked round and round to look for it.

Room was comfortable enough. But I found it odd that a cigarette stub was floating in the toilet bowl when I checked in. I had requested a non-smoking room. I laid down for a nap, but was awoken by hotel staff who informed me that she had checked me into the wrong room. other guests had already checked into the room in which i was resting, even though there was no sign (other than the cigarette butt in the toilet bowl) of anyone having been in the room. I was asked to move to another room. i had reserved the room at Clover House because I had a 6:00 am flight the next morning and wanted to be near Taoyuan airport. Actually, Clover House is not that close to the airport. Perhaps a 20 minute taxi ride at 4:00 am when there is virtually no traffic. i went out for a walk around the neighborhood. i found a hole-in-the-wall with good food. also found a good chinese medicine massage.

The room was delightful, and the bed really comfortable. Downstairs from hotel is a 7-11. The best part about this hotel was the service, as my nephew and I could not find the night market, but one of the clerks took us there. Wow. I actually can find nothing negative to say about this place, since the room and everything else completely exceeded expectations. For the cheap price, I have never stayed anywhere better.

The price for we paid for our stay was cheap however, we were accommodated very well. I informed them that we will be arriving Taipei early morning and was a little anxious because they were not replying to my concern but it turns out that they were expecting us. They also helped us get a cheaper ride going to the airport. The hotel room we got was expected for the price we paid only we got stuff for two persons only when we booked the room for 4.

Hotel is easy to find across the street from the train station. Staff speaks a little English, so it was easy to communicate. Please know that they, like many hotels in this area, rent rooms by the hour and have adult movie channels, so I would not stay here with children. They have very clean rooms with comfortable beds and newer linens. The rooms are small with only bed and small desk, but they do provide toothbrush, soap, slippers etc. They offer free wi-fi and also have computers on an LAN for use. The free breakfast was from KFC and delivered to the room around 10 every morning. Check out is 11, but you can add hours if need to stay longer. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Overall this hotel is very nice for adults looking for a cheap, comfortable and convenient stay.

we loved staying at this hotel as it is very convenient to all modes of transportation. You can even take the HaoSing tourist bus to tour Cihu area as the departure point of this bus is just a few steps away from the hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet is filling and serves both Western and Chinese food. And best of all, it is affordable! There are 2 restaurants just in the bldg of the hotel, and there's also a department store beside it.
