This should be my third stays at this hotel. The staff is the best which you cant even find in some of the 5 star hotel. Doris and others are so helpful and sincere to make things happen for everyone.They are really profectional. Do not believe in me but experiance it by yourself. I would like to take this opportunity to said thank you very much to Doris and all the staff.Looking forward to see you guys again coming June.

This hotel is the biggest compare to other 4 hotels we have stayed in Taiwan under our budget. The Receptionist spoke good English. Very helpful and friendly. Very professional like we can find in 4 or 5 star hotels. Our room was large. The design of the room was with double safety. I mean there was another door to separate the room from the bathroom and the main door. Bathroom was big and nice. On the 7th floor there was placed with few exercise equipment for quests to utilize. Very thoughtful. They provided morning call and booked a taxi for us to the airport which cost us only NT500. Breakfast was in the package for 2 persons. Nice breakfast in a beautiful dinning hall with smiling lady helpers serving their guests. The location was great. Just get out from the hotel, the Night Market and the Railway Station were within the walking distant.

Whoever created the spa in this hotel, should win an award. I travel alot, with where I go and how long I stay largely dependent upon Water quality. While all the praises of this fine accommodation are detailed in other's reviews, (and I agree, the room was spotless, wonderful un-perfumed bedding, marvelous breakfast, the free internet actually worked well, and all the staff reflected the essence of marvelously efficient hospitality) But unexpectedly over-the top was to find a GENUINE (deep-sourced) mineral hot-spring spa in the middle of the city. On the 16th floor no less. The healthful pool was SERIOUSLY hot, and (NOT for kids) so was the immaculate steam & sauna rooms. This sophisticated facility was near perfection (in a minimalist style) because the designers know and love Water, with all the fancy trim in the world unable to cover if that vital element is lacking. (If the utilitarian florescent lights are a glare for you, just switch them off) A second-to-none oasis, and, it's included with room at no extra charge! How cool is that? ...... well cooler than the beautiful outdoor swimming pool that was heated to a perfectly comfortable temperature, and built with the brains to buck the new trend of not haveing a main drain. I don't know what new pool builders are thinking to delete filter drains, but other hotel's pool after pool are so disgustingly filthy on the bottom, they must add tons more toxic chlorine to pretend clean. What a delight to experience the Fullon's Water, fabulously clear and sweet and not stinky. Wow! And now that I'm on a roll, gotta mention the bathroom in-suite was just about the best shower I've ever enjoyed, EVER. And I happen to be a connoisseur of such finery. If Water is a pleasure for you, as it is a passion for me, this total bargain of a hotel (that is 25 minutes from airport) rates a solid 9 by my very high standards.

We only booked a night as we stopped over at Taipei for a night. The motel is near the airport (about 15 minutes drive away) and the review was great so we just booked it. When we checked in, the motel completely exceeded our expectation, definitely value for money, very modern, clean and spacious, bed is very comfy too! We wish we could stay for few more nights. Our flight is very early the next morning so we couldn't get to try the breakfast, the motel staff is very kind to pack light breakfast for us to bring to the airport, how considerate! Highly recommended!

Brief but excellent stay. definite 4 star overall. 5 star in every respect except food service. Food i rate 4 star. 5 star hotel means food service is so excellent that restaurant/bar has a strong recognized name and attract non-guests (locals and tourists and biz travelers) Bar menu "too western" needs asian options and modernize menu to more interesting items. Breakfast buffet very good asian spread; needs a little more on western selection. I definitely recommend and would stay again.

I can not find how to access this hotel by mrt. I think the location little bit far from MRT station. You need to take bus, but if you can not speak chinese/taiwanese you only have taxi as option. I took taxi from hotel to Taoyuan airport just around 25 minutes and price 410 NTD. The breakfast time start early from 6:30. If I not mistaken until 8:30 I really love the hotel because its so clean and tidy. But I hate because the location difficult to access from any MRT

My stay was a pleasant stay, staff at reception is very friendly and supportive. The breakfast was not really great. Enough choice but the quality of the food was not more than average. The restaurant staff were not very communicative and sometimes a bit slow in cleaning the tables. I am also surprised by the level of English, or better the lack of a proper level of English. I think that in a 4 star hotel English is a must. But overall I had a great experience at the hotel and will recommend it to friends.

Our vacation was perfectly arranged by Peter (hotel's manager) - like great airport-hotel-airport service, wonderful tour service, perfect room location, and alot more. He is friendly, hard-working, accommodating, and easy to deal with kind of person. The hotel is lucky to have him to manage the hotel. The location of the hotel is very near the Taoyuan Train Station. Outside the hotel - you can see delicious local food stores, fruit market, and convenient shops. The room - spacious with big & comfortable beds, clean, with great facilities, with fast WIFI internet connection Bathroom- clean and comfortable. Breakfast - buffet, delicious, many choices. Staff - friendly, know how to speak English I would definitely recommend this hotel to others because it is worth the time, money, and effort. We really had a hussle-free vacation in Taiwan. Would definitely stay again and again in this hotel in the future visit. Overall rating - EXCELLENT!!!

I gave it only 4 stars for location because it was quite far from the city center or train station but the area itself is very quiet with quaint cafes and restaurants and several convenience stores and groceries. bus stop is just across the street and taxi just around the corner. really had a pleasant stay. nothing related to the hotel but our trip back from the BTS concert was a different story altogether. taxi drivers charged waaaaay too much. ended up using UBER.

We like this hotel, because to Taiwan International Airport. The hotel and the room are clean, friendly staff, Fast check in and fast check out by Agoda. This few years, We do not need to show our Agoda Voucher, just show our passport and say: booked by Agoda. mostly hotel will know our booking status and how nights we will be stay in their hotel. Sometime we just show by soft copy voucher. this is the best convenient booking hotel by agoda to arround the world, next our trip will be in Melbourne (Australia) and Berlin (Germany) hopefully can make us more convenient in Transport or Car rental. It's about 20 minutes from the airport. The taxi ride only cost $12. So that's pretty good! Beautiful room, very comfortable bed. But the breakfast bar was the best. A good variety of things offered. It also helped that everyone spoke English, as I hardly know any Chinese. All the room controls, lights, air, and such are all located on a small panel at the head of the bed behind the pillows. They don't tell you that when you arrive. I called down to ask how to shut off the lights since there were no wall switches in the main room.

I am so happy I found this place during my latest stay in Taipei. I decided to stay here b/c I wanted to find a cheap-ish hotel near the airport. While it turned out not to be that close to the airport, it was close enough (about a 20 minutes and $600 TWD taxi ride). The surprise about the place was how good the English was from a few of the clerks behind the counter. They were very helpful in things like checking me in, directing me to an electronics store (b/c I had lost a charger in the airport), and also a situation where my contacts were damaged in the room. After bringing it up with them, they were unbelievably apologetic and helpful, when they could have easily been the complete opposite (especially for a budget hotel). Anytime I find myself needing a quick place to stay in Taoyuan, I am coming to Hua Yue! The breakfast was modest, but fairly tasty. It had four small buffet trays of stuff, usually with two or three Chinese breakfast foods, and one tray of excellent eggs. I might go back again just for those eggs alone!! The room: I had a single with a large, comfortable bed. The room comes with a large bathtub, refrigerator with bottled water, coffee/tea, and even a water fountain for hot water only! This was a great little addition, as I love to make my own instant coffee. (Also, you can just throw a cup with the hot water into the fridge for a few hours, and viola, potable/cold drinking water! Lastly, the wi-fi was amazingly fast! I was streaming videos and downloading stuff, both on my computer and phone, with great ease. What a treat to save a buck AND have the little things work so well. Again, this is truly a hidden gem if you are looking to spend less than the typical 70-90USD for a room in Taiwan. Trust me, this place will not disappoint.

This hotel is close to Taoyuan Airport and train station. Bare in mind, THEY DO NOT OFFER FREE AIRPORT PICKUP FOR AGODA BOOKING, they only provide free shuttle to airport or train station on the check-out day. If you wish to enjoy their free airport pickup, please book it directly from their website to avoid disappointment. Other than that, this hotel is good for temporary stay. The staff is polite and very helpful. Another highlight, this hotel is close to a telecommunication centre. If you miss out the sim card service hour in the airport due to late night arriving, you can apply it near by this hotel, approximately 5 minutes walking distance.

This is a decent place to stay. Everything is functional but mind you to look for 9th floor hotel cause I could not find "Golden Vista" in English anywhere, though the Map location is correct. Ignore the breakfast, it's a sandwich and Juice, maybe good for snack later. No English spoken here so be patient. Great location, walking distance to all City Center. Check out The H.O.P for a good pizza and beer or Chief Pub for good live music and darts :-)

the interior of the room is ok, the food in night market nearby is delicious and cheap, 15 mins away from airport is another advantage for travelers who arrival Taiwan but only need a shower and a bed before move on to other cities in middle / South Taiwan. The staffs there are very helpful for providing any tourism info and services. However, the “mandarin speaking tourists” stay at my level is extreme loud - before 7am, the first round I requested them to reduce the level of “shouting discussions” as I’m sleeping… once I went back, within seconds, their “shouting discussion” goes on again, the second round I beg them with no improvement at all, the third and fourth time, I shouted them loud, but have totally no respond… I know that this is their daily practice as “shouting discussion” and understand why there are so many negative comments for the “mandarin speaking tourists”!!! A good hotel sometimes would drag down by its customers. A recommended hotel for me provided if you planned to wake up before 6am.

There are Many good food on the street. Cheap price and people are so friendly. ★★★★★ You can go to anywhere around taoyuan city by the bus no. 5089. and its good to tak the bus to the airport. Bus fee from the air port to the today hotel and station name is today hotel. Or you just ask to bus driver before you tak on the bus. But print map first :)★★★★★ But if your height is more than 175 cm.. bed room is not comfort to you. ★★★ I suggest you to book this hotel for one ~ two nights in taiwan.

took a taxi from taoyuan airport to the hotel about nt500. the hotel main entrance is in the middle of the lane with food stalls selling till late nights. the "ah mah" porridge is tasty with chinese style. there is a fruit juice stall in front of the lane. the lane does not look very clean, only walkable with both side stalls. the hotel itself is reasonable good and clean only. it is old with medium maintenance only. typical and choosy person, may not choose this. sightseeing is not in this area. but i am ok. hotel staff is good to help for taxi calling.

Zai Yan Leader Hotel is an old hotel. The most unforgetable matter is about the toilet glass door. It will make a loud "cracking" sound when it turns. It makes me feel afraid of damaging the door during the whole period of my stay. The toilet and the bathroom is in the same area. I do not like some water accumulating near the toliet after shower. The leveling of the floor is not designed very well for the leaving of the water. I think that if the hotel can spend some money on fixing the facilities in the toilet, my experience can be much better. The room and the bed is acceptably clean. The price is relatively cheap. The staff is friendly and is willing to offer help if there is a problem. They also help me to freeze my hand-dleivery package when they know that it is delivered on low tempature. In fact, the mosts of hotels in Taoyuan in Taiwan are old. The district is not well developed. It is not easy to find inexpensive, new and comfortable hotel.

This hotel is like a luxury boutique style with King sized bed with a PC in the room. It is moderately spacious and the toiletries are provided in full. The only downsides are probably the less variety in the chinese breakfast (i find it ok ), the location in the alley not very far from the main road, the drinking water is limited but you can top up in the ground lobby. Overall an excellent stay. Btw, you can take ubus 706 at outside the taoyuan train station n dept store to taoyuan international airport in just 30mins, although the hotel recommends guest to take the 5059 public bus which takes one hour which i find it appalling.
