"The location is close to Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area, and it is possible to travel to Cueifong Lake in one day trip. Good to stay 2 nights with the following plan. 1st day afternoon stay in Cilan Resort and take the trail inside the Resort Park. 2nd day early morning (8 am) travel to Cueifong Lake by driving car and take trails near the lake. 3rd day check out late and have a trip in Ilan before going back to Taipei/Taoyuan. The hotel also has hot spring facility. The room is clean and the staffs are nice. A great place to go into the mountain for regular travelers. "

"Coming to Locasu is definitely the highlight of our trip! We chose this place because of its proximity to Taipingshan and its rustic beauty. However we failed to plan our transport up to Taipingshan but all's well because 陈老板 (Mr Chen) took care of all the arrangement and we had a great time up on the mountain! This place is a aboriginal family-run business and we were embraced by the warmth and hospitality the moment we set foot in the place. Loved every aspect of our stay here!! "

"That is a nice hotel if you wanna spend some time out of the big city beehive. Rooms are pretty large and very clean. Staff is friendly, however not all them speak english well. There were 2 of us and we payed around 133 USD for one night during the weekend, what is quite pricy for Taiwan’s countryside, but it’s worth it. The breakfast is taiwanese style, which is fine with me, but my girlfriend don’t like oily stuff, so she only had toasts with jam, but the tea was really nice and high quality, coffee also not bad. Also, it would be not easy to get there by public transport, thus, I would recommend to rent a car first. If you have a car, then it’s very convenient to go to Taiping Mountain from there which is amazing."
