"The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I was greeted with a friendly smile by the doorman whom directed me to the front desk where I was welcomed by a wonderful staff that had me checked in within minutes. I was taken back by my spacious room and the incredibly beautiful view from the 22nd floor. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel which was perfect. When I checked out the staff was just as warm and energetic. I can guarantee that I will be returning and recommending this hotel to everyone. My visit was perfect in every way possible.."

"I read other reviews tipping me off that this is 'The W Light', a little sister if you will. So, the fake-funky decor was not a surprise (aqua colored gel mats in the elevator, etc.) The building really has a great feel to it. It was part of a complex of railroad buildings. The exposed columns in the lobby provide a not-fake industrial-era touch. Pool is small, but nice. Snack options are really limited inside the hotel, and ice is only located in the lobby. We had a great bartender who handcrafted drinks specifically to our tastes, and she was very friendly to boot. Overall a very pleasant stay. "

"Being in the middle of downtown Dallas, there is a premium for space, but we were comfortable. Parking was an issue, but we just simply parked in a nearby lot and hired Ubers to drive us around town. Nearby Cindy's Deli was a pleasant surprise. It was within walking distance and offered genuine Southern and New York style recipes . Our visit to Big D was a great place to celebrate my birthday. "

"It was good. Pros was the hotel itself was very nice and clean. I felt that I didnt get what I requested from what I thought I was. The bathroom door was pretty heavy. A small earing table would have been nice. The customer service was great! The hotel itself was very clean and fresh! But the area / location. .. Our view was disappointing. Lookimg at a broken down building across the street. Looked like a parking garage. Pan handlers EVERY WHERE!!! Disgusting when you look out your window several times and just about each time you look out you see one urinating! And the smell when we walk around wanting to site see. I know that is all out of the hotels concern but it sure would have been alot more pleasant. But the hotel itself was good. I dont know if our price something to do with it which it shouldn't. But I would suggest anyone to make it clear to avoid that side at least. "

"This hotel is great value for money right in the middle of downtown. Staff were great and gave us a late check out. Pool is on fifth floor with a view. No poolside service. Rooms very very spacious. I would definatley recommend this hotel if staying in Dallas. Walking distance to restaurants, 6th floor museum and bronze bulls."
