"The hostel is nearby Khaosan road. I booked for an 8 beds mixed room. The receptionist accompany me to a 14 bunk bed mixed room. I told him that I booked and paid on an 8 beds mixed dorm. Gladly he transfer me to what I have booked. I stayed on the second floor, 8 bunk beds. Room got ambient temperature. There are 3 toilets and a 1 shower on the second floor. No hot shower though.... Free tea, coffee and drinking water. Breakfast is free: Strawberry jam or butter for your bread toast. They have lockers for your personal stuffs and bring your own padlocks. My stay was pleasant. "

"A great little hotel right on Khaosan road. We stayed in a Superior Suite Double Bed room, which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in our stay - it wasn't that impressive. There are plenty of other places to eat on Khaosan road. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The only thing I would recommend is trying to get a room that doesn't face Khaosan road - if you've never visited before, the strip is loud at night but if you want to join the party, it's literally downstairs from you. The location of the hotel is also fairly close to the Chao Praya river where you can catch boats to visit the different temples around Bangkok. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a more upbeat party scene."

"the hotel is i think very popular since during our stay, it kept on putting a "full" sign on the information desk. i believe its better to book and have a reservation instead of just going there and asking. the location is very near khaosan road where you could shop, dine and party yet not that close that you could sleep without hearing the "noise" from the party road. the hotel have a 7-11 infront and atm/bank currency exchange with good rates. rambuttri road itself is very lively in the afternoon and evening. you could buy very good street food (padthai and satay) while having massage on the road! the road itself have some resto that offers beer etc all! so relaxing! also, there are tourist agents in front of the hotel so you could just book any next escapades of yours and be pick up infront of the hotel. staff are not very good in speaking in english (most of the thais) but very friendly. they gave us directions in any place i want to go. wifi is very good also for the duration of our stay. its fast even on our rooms. the pool on the rooftop is average. its clean enough for a quick swim but smells a bit strong on the chlorine. also, better to take a dip in the morning. it gets crowded in the afternoon/evening. the room itself is average but i am grateful i has a hair dryer and sometimes not working hot shower. they will clean your room if you requested. i noticed that they did not change the bedsheet evenif i had requested for room service. they just make the bed. checking out is also a breeze, just drop off your keys to the information desk. you could also ask for a taxi going to the airport (450 bhat for 3 pax up) or use the shared airport limo infront of the hotel for just 120bhat. "The hotel room is clean and comfortable, with air-conditioner, water heater and Wi-fi. Moreover, there is a swimming pool and a lounge to relax at the top of the hotel roof. Besides, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they make my stay comfortable. One of the pros about this hotel: great location. The hotel is located along the Khao San Road, which is one of the tourists' attraction in Thailand. Along this street where I stayed (the street is just a small part of Khao San Road), you can find lots of restaurants, serving Thailand food, Chinese food and even Western food. Besides, you can find small stalls selling clothes and traditional Thailand food such as mango sticky rice and barbequed meat at cheap prices. For those who like to pamper themselves, you can find lots of massage shops here, at very vheap price too! The street is never quiet cuz the music is always blarring and people chattering. Yes, living in the hotel is never boring, with so many activities available outside. Transport is not a problem too, because you can always find lots of taxis and tut-tuts(a kind of traditional Thailand transport) along Khaosan Road. Moreover, many travel agencies are available to help you with your travel plans! If you are looking for a hotel with a low budget, great location and comfortable rooms, D&D is the hotel that I strongly recommended to you. "

"Pros: - The room is quite big and clean (Although we booked 2 separate rooms, the staff upgraded freely for us 1 family room with 2 separate rooms and living room. It's beautiful) - The hotel is really close to the Grand Palace and Khaosan road (Other places like Democratic Monument, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Giant Swing. . ). It is in walking distance - The breakfast is really tasteful and offer us many choices Cons: - It's near the main road so that it's quite noisy in the evening. - The hotel is a little bit old, but it's ok - Some electrics holes did not work, therefore we have to charge our mobile phone in living room rather than in bedroom. In summary, we both agree that this hotel is worth for your money. If we go to bangkok, we will book this hotel. "

"Been in Thailand 10 times. And i have tried a lot of hotels and guesthouse around Khaosan Road. YES KAOSAN is still the best in this area, if you are into party, get along with travellers and backpackers around the world, this place is perfect for you. Food, shopping , clubs, day tours are everywhere in this area. Transportation is very easy, especially if you have the grab app. Accessible To and From DMK and Suvarnabhumi airport via Airport public bus. Very friendly hotel and good atmosphere. Yaw, the receptionist with curly hair is doing her job. Everyone loves her for being friendly and hospitable. The room are clean and cold with new sets of AC unit. If you need housekeeping everyday and have your towels changed, its possible just let them know. I have stayed here for 7 times and always feel like home and comfortable. This is a guesthouse at a low budget, everything is just fine, especially when you cant afford to stay in a 5 star hotel that can meet your needs and expectation."

"Good location , upon arrival we were upgraded for free to the premium room. This hotel is right in the middle of Khaosan road, straight outside of the hotel are many places to eat and drink including local street food. Plenty of shops and stalls selling souvenuiers, electronics , clothes etc ... be prepared to haggle for a good price! The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. very good value for money considering the price we paid for this room (£ gbp per night). There is a rooftop pool which we did not use but you can see views of the grand palace from up there. Room was cleaned daily. Cable tv with various channels to cater for all nationalities. complimentary water provided each day. Mini Bar (chargable but very cheap) ... there is also a mini-mart right at the hotel enterance. There is a coffee shop in the hotel reception area which also sells breakfast and snacks very reasonably priced and tasty! Depending where your room is facing you may hear the noise of music etc from the road - however if you are staying on Khaosan road you have to expect this ... plus the cocktails sold outside help you to sleep!! The only bad point about this hotel was the shower - it was more of a wet room with just a curtain so the floor tends to get a bit wet... overall this was a minor issue."
