Very seldom do I write reviews for hotel stays but I feel that I will be doing Mode Sathorn a great injustice if I don't write this one for her. For the price we pay, it's definitely one of the best stays for all my years of travelling. The check-in late at night was fuss free and we got a room with 2 queen size beds. We requested for a king bed room and got put into a waiting list because the hotel was fully booked that day. The wait was pretty long but in the end we got what we wanted the next night. Welcome drink coupons were issued upon check-in and you are free to visit the bar or restaurant to redeem the drinks. And not those fruit punch crap but real drinks. You can order your free beers, cocktails, soft drinks, etc. We went to their Theater Bar late one night to chill and enjoy our free drinks. Theater Bar is great. Lovely and modern decor accompanied with trendy music. Definitely makes you feel like clubbing when you step in. Never expected the breakfast to be good. There are plenty of variety on offer. You won't get bored. The free Wifi provided is awesome. I always have problems with crappy Wifi connection during my overseas travel but Mode Sathorn's Wifi is fast and reliable! The king-size bed, pillows, quilt are all super comfortable, comparable to those on offer at 5 stars hotel. Once you sink in, you not want to get up. Air-conditioning works great. At some points we had to off them cause it got so cold. lol. But we are not complaining. Tip: Location is great. This hotel is just next to Surasak BTS so use this as your launch pad for your moving about in Bangkok cause the traffic can be horrendous.

This hotel has got everything you could ask for. Very friendly staff, an extremely luxurious spa with treatments for absolutely anyone, great pool, brilliant restaurant, a laundry room to wash and dry clothes, it even has a small indoor driving range for golf enthusiasts. The only negative that comes to mind is the location. Although it is quite far from a BTS or MRT station taxis are easy to arrange at concierge or there is even a free shuttle on the hour. But dont let that be a reason not to stay at this fantastic hotel with great facilities!!

We stayed in Anantara Sathorn Bangkok for 6 nights. The service was great, the front desk of the reception was always offering help and giving advice whenever some were needed. The rooms were really huge. The bathroom was awesome, it came with a bathtub and a shower. We were getting new toilet items like soap, conditioner etc. daily. The view from the balcony was amazing. The breakfast was delicious, the only negative point about it was that it was almost the same every day, with only a very few minor changes, so if you are staying more than two days, it will get too repetitive. The swimming pool is amazing, i liked the lights at night, they would change their color every 10 seconds. The location was good. It was close to a MRT station, only 10 minutes walking distance. It may be a problem for those not being used to the heat. But if the heat is not a big deal for you, its location is great. Taxis are easy to get as well, the guards will call them for you, youll just have to wait at the entrance. Most of the drivers dont know the hotel by its name, so just give them the name of the MRT station and explain them the way from there. All in all in was an amazing stay at the Anantara and I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

This is really the five star hotel, for me the best hotel I have ever stayed. Location is very good, directly opposite to the skytrain station SURASAK on the S line. The hotel is one year old, everything is new, the rooms are big and clean, the bathroom is perfect, try to go up, I was on the 25 floor and have excellent view of the city. What was the best on the hotel is the pool, you can find it on the 14 floor. When I first see it, I have stopped breathing, its really amazing!!! The second fabulous thing was the breakfast, it was perfect. A the end, Eastin is the five star hotel, with the five star rooms and five star profesional service (best in thailand!), and magnificent pool with amazing look over the city. I love this hotel and definitely will come back!

The room we stayed in was a 2-BR Deluxe Room which had one queen sized bed and two single beds. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the blankets were smooth to touch. This may sound crazy but after a day out of shopping under the weather, that's really a great way to end the day. There were two toilets, one with a rain shower. There was also a kitchenette and a living room. The room was really spacious even for four adults. Getting to the BTS or MRT station is not a problem because the hotel does provide free shuttle service there; the same cannot be said if you were coming back to the hotel though (which is comparable to other hotels in Thailand I believe). The hotel is about an 8-min walk from Sala Daeng BTS station but if you're tired from walking, the cab fare from the station to the hotel is about 35 baht. Near the station there are many massage parlours and food available. Silom Complex is nearby too. So with the considerable distance between the hotel from the BTS station, you really will get a fantastic quiet night rest. There's a pool and a small children's playground but we didn't get to use those facilities. Staff there provided great service too.

We chose AETAS Lumphini for last 2 days of our honeymoon despite it’s a business hotel. We just fall in love with this hotel. The hotel located just by the side of Lumphini Park. We enjoyed the lush green view from our room at the heart of Bangkok. It was serene environment not chaotic like Shukhumvit. Lumphini MRT station is just 3 minutes away from the hotel and in my opinion it was one of the best MRT station in Bangkok. We were delighted by the warm welcome from the stuffs. Check in was really quick and smooth. The hotel room was excellent and modern. Our room was in honeymoon setup. The breakfast banquet was ample and the foods served were really delicious. Both Hourglass Restaurant and GMT Lounge was nice. However it would be nice if there are some more options to choose in the lunch menu of Hourglass restaurant. I was so tired after 8 days long tour in Thailand. I was not in a mood to watch TV. However my wife complained about number of TV channels. There was no channel for watching ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. We missed the high voltage Semi Final match. Hotel gym was not big enough but it was not an issue for us. Like Sukhumvit this area is not so popular to Taxi drivers. You might need some additional effort to make taxi drivers understand the hotel location. Overall it was an awesome experience to stay at AETAS Lumphini. I will definitely come back here in my next visit.

Location wasn't great. Sathorn Rd frequently had bad traffic and we weren't that near to the MRT stations (about a 15-20 minute walk). However, the hotel did offer a shuttle service to the MRT station, although we didn't make use of it. There was also a free shuttle service to Chatuchak Market on Sunday, which we utilised. Concierge was also very prompt in getting us cabs. Otherwise, the service at the hotel was excellent and the breakfast/club room refreshments were quite good. We enjoyed the cocktail hour every day :)

Extremely friendly and helpful staff that did their best to make our trip most enjoyable. Location was good, close to many restaurants, cafes and night market. About a 5-10 minute walk from nearest BTS station but quite far from the nearest MRT station. Had a few cockroaches in some rooms. Despite this, room was very clean. Great facilities, very nice pool and gym, as well as great breakfast. Above all, would definetely reccomend this hotel to others!

PROS: Close to the BTS Sky Train station. Hotel was well-maintained. Suite was inexpensive for Bangkok, but the room was in excellent condition. Staff was outstanding and helpful – restaurant recommendation was spot-on. Airport taxi service was outstanding (to the airport). We had the suite for a few extra dollars per night, but it was a giant room – actually a few rooms. Roof pool was nice. Some great views up there. If I was looking to stay in this part of town again, The Grand Sathorn would be on my short list of properties to consider if I was headed to that area of town again. Service, cleanliness, location, and the incredible value – all were great. CONS: It’s on the corner of a couple of streets in Sathorn – so not in the mix of the busiest area. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but be prepared to know your way around.

it was my first stay at the brand new hotel. this 5 star hotel indeed is doing its best to make small differences everywhere and they indeed do. the room design is quite special, all the amenities are quite original. the pool is awesome. one of the drawbacks is the locations for taxis. it's hard to get a taxi in front of the hotel or one who knows the road to this hotel, it's so new. for people who travel by bts in bangkok, it's right next to chong nonsi bts station. the in-room dining menu is a bit short but food is very good.

We'd had a great stay at The Sukhothai, the breakfast was brilliant, western and fusion, the hotel decors are eyes pleasing, the room is not very big but the bed is large and heavenly...choices of various pillows from pillow menu...didn't take long to go to sleep... The only problem is finding transport outside hotel in the evening, not many shops in the proximity of 5 mins walks, about 10 mins' walk to nearest MRT station. This hotel stay however served us well for the room comfort and work, we were not really here for shopping. The swimming pool is located quite some distance to the room, at the other block of the building of the hotel, no chance of going straight to the pool in bare feet and bathrobe, so we didn't use the pool for 5-day stay, that was a pity.

Stayed in an earth themed room. Beautifully blue coloured and spacious. Lots of mirrors and welcome food and free mini bar, Illy coffee, huge bathtub, fluffy bathrobe. Well equipped and spacious gym. Sauna and steam room. Good size infinity pool with a wonderful view. Hip rooftop bar. Friendly staff. Close to Lumpini park, the view of the park from my room was gorgeous. Just 5min walk to Lumpini MRT station. Close to a nice local restaurant called Northeast. Truly great hotel. Love to go back.

We had a very pleasant stay in Ascott Sathon, way above our expectation. The hotel is close with MRT station, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious (we ordered the family suite I guess), it has 2 rooms, 1 wardrobe closet, pantry, 2 bathroom and huge living room. Room was clean, and amenities were L'Occitane :) Will definitely stay here again if I'm to visit Bangkok again

Lovely hotel! It was fresh and cosy, clean, and rooms are quite big. At least for that low price, this hotel was our favourite among the other two, bigger hotels that were closer to the bts, but also in about the same area. At first we were afraid for the location, because it seemed to be far away from the bts, but it doesn't really matter, there is a bus station nearby, so it took only five minutes to the nearest bts-station. Service was flawless, personal was nice and friendly. There is a nice room for breakfast, and a nice pool on the garden side of the building. The area is relatively quite with parks and small restaurants. There is actually a really nice restaurant nearby, nice bbq under a tent with plastic tables and chairs, but they serve best food in Bangkok, always crowded there.

i was very satisfied witih my stay in Furama xclusive, the staff was really well trained both in service and handling situations ( long story ), the rooms were comfortable , the plpace is only walking distance to chong nongsi mrt station and the famous silom area where patpong night market and many night life pubs and bars were, nearby you can find many hawkers and restaurants offering cheap and good local and international food, overall very satisfied and happy i used my money on this hotel.

Very clean hotel, once you stepped in to the lobby, you will definitely feel relax because of the hotel pleasant & fresh smell. Comfortable bed. The size of the room and the shower room is just nice. Daily breakfast provided and sufficient food selection, and tastes tasty! Great location as just few steps away from sky train BTS station (Chon Nongsi Station). Easily access to hawkers, shopping, street food, etc.... Definitely value for money! The BEST! And will definitely come back to stay in this hotel again for the next visit.

With Agoda's special "59% discount", the hotel is a fantastic value. The nightly rate was under $90 US without breakfast. The building sign says "Executive Serviced Apartment" not a hotel. My guess is the place appeals to extended stay clienteles. It is also an excellent choice for a short stay as in my case even though you may not get the full use of kitchen with all the kitchenettes provided. It has a living room and a separate bedroom hence a suite only accommodation. Both living room and bedroom are good size, modern, and clean. Bathroom is nice, large and modern as well. There are both shower and tub. Full amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste provided. Breakfast (330 Thai Baht extra or included with certain packages) has rotating daily menu with about 5 or 6 choices of set menu such as Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Western. They are made to order. Service is fast and polite. There is also a buffet bar for salad, fruits and small pastries. Coffee machine and selections of juices are available as self service. One minor downside is the location. It is not really close to the BTS sky train Saladaeng station or the underground MRT Si Lom station. Since Bangkok's heat can be oppressive, a 15-20 min walk can be too much for some. Easy fix is to get a short cab ride which is quite inexpensive. I was on the 7th floor so the view was nothing special. Higher floor may have better view. I would return to Centre Point if I can get such a great deal again.

Stayed 4 nights with two teenagers, so we booked a twin room for them and a superior room for ourselves. Rooms were identical except for the beds, so it is not worth paying for a superior; a standard room is fine. The rooms were spacious and clean, good beds, TVs with a couple of English channels. THB 1000 key deposit (cash only) upon check-in. Cute little pool on the roof with a few loungers, but no shade. The best part was the breakfast— fresh and a good variety of Thai dishes daily. The entire hotel is non-smoking. Coin-operated washing machines outside the entrance if needed. Rooms cleaned daily. There was a hair dryer, safe, kettle & instant tea/coffee in the room. The hotel is down a small street with several good, reasonable restaurants. It is quiet, but there is a small shopping mall at the end of the street (Centre Point) and Saphan Taksin BTS station just around the corner. Good value! Tip: best foreign Xchange kiosk @ Jewelry Trade Cntr, 2nd fl (5-min. walk)

Whenever we can and whenever we visit Bangkok, we will stay at U Sathorn. We enjoy the quietness and peaceful feeling, especially it's only a small 15 min walk from MRT Lumpuni station. Hotel also provide shuttle service every hour as well. We love the spacious room and the lovely swimming pool. Breakfast is the best that we have in Bangkok and offer a good variety. Overall, excellent experience.

I really love this hotel. It has everything I need for a good accommodation. I have stayed in Premier Residence for 7 Days and I think it was a great experience. I had booked for a Superior Room but as I arrived there, surprisingly, they upgraded my room to higher class, I thanked them very much. Luckily when I asked a cab driver to send me there, He knew exactly where the hotel is. The hotel is not quite far to BTS Saladaeng or Chong Nongsi, and to MRT station Lumpini, we can walk there in 10-15 minutes. The hotel also provide us Tuk Tuk Service to nearest BTS or MRT Station. I really recommend this hotel for couples or single travelers. When I wan in Bangkok, my friends came to my hotel, they like it and the other next day they moved to Premier Hotel, and they stayed there for 4 days. The hotel locates at sathorn area, and it is quite near to Silom Road and Suriwong Road, and it takes 35-45 Minutes to Suwarnabhumi International Airport.

The hotel is not exactly in downtown Bangkok but it is near enough to the Lumpini MRT station which is just one stop away from the shopping malls in Silom. The MRT station is not quite at the hotel's doorstep and it's actually about a 10-minute walk. But if you're looking for something away from all the traffic noise and smells, this would be perfect. There are several convenience stores and restaurants right in front of the hotel catered for Western tourists but if you'd walk out to the main road and turn right, there is a street full of delicious street food stalls where the locals and office workers pack their breakfasts and lunches. At night time, the row of stalls opposite the main road on Thanon Rama IV is bustling with a lot of local delicacies, including fried insects! But walking in the alley leading to the hotel late at night may seem a little unnerving when it may seem a little deserted. The handful of signages asking people to be careful of snatch thefts added to the alarmist touch. Booked the rooms through Agoda and it came up to about USD31 (without breakfast), and at that kind of price, it was pretty decent value. The rooms and the bathrooms are pretty tiny but they're quite neat and cozy. It has everything that a traveller would need. Even their wall sockets are universal for all types of plug heads. Like most hotels in Bangkok, the room comes with free sachets of coffee and tea everyday as well as 2 bottles of water daily. Can't really complain much about the room. Sheets are clean, bedding is comfy and service at the front desk is pretty prompt and helpful. There's free WiFi too if you register at the front desk which is pretty fast. But if you don't gave a device, there are a couple of PCs at the lobby if you want to surf the internet.

We stayed 2 nights at Baan K Residence by Bliston. This is our second time staying here and the service is still exceed our expectation. We arrived at Baan K and was greet warmly by staffs, and again got upgraded from studio room to executive one bedroom! The room itself is very modern, fitted with full kitchenette, spacious closet and very clean. The wifi signal is a bit jittery this time but still ok and the area around the apartment is very quiet which suit what we need. This apartment is only short walk to MRT station (about 5 minutes walk) but a bit far from BTS station (approx 1km away). We took MRT to Sukhumvit station then change to BTS Prompong station to visit Emquartier with no hassle at all. Overall, this apartment is really worth it and we will be back here again for sure.

I had to extend my stay to Bkk, and I didn't hesitate for the choice of the hotel : I booked a bedroom executive at the Somerset, because it's the best place I have ever stayed in Bkk. The room is large, well equipped, light, with a large balcony to enjoy a great view of Bkk. It is located in the quiet soi Suan Plu, within walking distance with Silom area (night market, bars, clubs), and not far from MRT stations (Lumpini or Silom) and BTS Saladaeng station : easy to go to other areas of Bangkok, especially Siam area, with great department stores, cinemas, restaurants... One special mention for Siam Paragon if you're interested in young Thai fashion designers ; a few shops where you can find very stylish clothes, original design, high quality of fabric, casual or formal styles. Highly recommended !!! The Somerset includes a nice swimming pool at the 5th floor, with a spa (sauna and steam bath) : perfect to relax after a day in Bkk city. Don't forget the city view bar and restaurant Vertigo, on the top of a building just next to Somerset : you will enjoy the wonderful view on Bkk city, for a romantic evening !

Location is very good. It Takes only 5 minutes walking to Saladaeng BTS Station, or you may also walk 5 minues to Lumphini MRT Station. My room doesn't have window. But it's okay because the room is so cozy. Easy to find because Chaydon Sathorn located in big Sathorn Road (near Malaysian Embassy). The room is very clean. They serve bath towel, hand towel, mini refrigerator, kettle for boiling water, electric stove. The room also so spacious for two persons. It's a lovely hotel with a very good price.

We booked The Narathiwas Residence because it is an apartment style hotel. Because we traveled with a baby, we needed extra space and a kitchen. We booked the room the night before our arrival, so when we asked for a baby cot, there was not one available. They then upgraded us to a larger room and provided us with an extra sleeping provisions such as an extra duvet and pillows. The room was extremely spacious and had good views, but the bathroom was a bit small. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was included in the rate. It had a wide variety of food for a variety of travelers' tastes. We probably enjoyed the breakfast the most!! The hotel provided a shuttle to the nearest skytrain station, but we opted for a taxi instead (which they called to the front door). There were several dining options outside the hotel and a 7-11 close by. I would definitely stay here again.

this is the first hotel ever that i felt sorry to leave. the rooms are incredible (large and beautiful) with kitchenette. the staff is super friendly and helpful (pro-active even) and speak really good english. we stayed for one week and the staff was always the same. this way you really form a connection with them. the pool is gigantic and the gardens very lush considering you're in the center of one of the biggest cities in the world. a free shuttle service will bring you to sala daeng bts or lumpini mrt station on demand. which is very helpful since the 2 min. walking area just around pantip is not very lively (although there is a 7/11 around the corner) there is a hairdresser, gym and shop on the grounds. that being said, i would like to add we got one of the refurbished rooms which are gorgeous. i saw one of the older ones and those feel more like a stay at grannies with old carpets and dated furniture (despite being huge as well and having an incredible view of the city). so make sure you get a refurbished room. i would recommend this hotel / apartment very much.

i stay in hotel malaysia for 3 nights. this hotel is located in the busy area and hotspot in bangkok city named silom. this hotel is easily recognised by taxi driver, guess the hotel is quite popular in bangkok. hotel is also near to mrt station, easy way to get anywhere in bangkok. hotel lobby is simple but hotel staff are very friendly. this 5-level hotel equipped with elevator, nice swimming pool, restaurant, safebox deposit, laundry service and chargable wifi. hotel standard room size is just nice and it is very clean. feel very comfortable during my stay in this hotel. will stay here again if i travel to bangkok in the future.

The room is very clean, tidy and beautiful. Hotel staff is extremely friendly. They support us at any time and help us to find the cheapest service (airport car rental). The only thing that we need to recommend you when booking this hotel is the location. Too far to any attractions in BKK. However, hotel has free shuttle bus to Silom MRT or Sala Daeng BTS from 7am - 6pm. Once the car is out of work, staff gives me 150 baht to take the taxi or tuk tuk to the nearest station. Be back next time.
