Location: At the heart of central Hat Yai. Nearby to everything else. Tuk-tuk is everywhere. Take note that most items sold here are 2x or 3x higher than other places like Kim Yong Market, Talad Sod Market (Old Market - Clock Tower). Facilities: WiFi signal was strong and fast in the room with the router located at each floor. Water pressure was 110% super strong. :D Design similar to Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel whereby you need to interchange at Lvl 6 (Lobby) before you can go to the floor of your room. As usual in Thailand, no toothpaste / toothbrush provided. Room was huge. Staff: Sweet, helpful and polite. Able to converse in fluent English. Superb service when they allowed me to check-in at 10 am because I arrived earlier than expected. Cleanliness: Hotel was kinda old but still looks clean. Value for money? Yes, I will come back to stay here next time.

Overall the service in this hotel was very good . Stuffs in the hotel were very hotel and well mannered and make sure we had gotten into our room . The location of the hotel is very easy to trace and very convenient. Many shopping especially for clothes could be found in that area and you could even try bargain with them .And during night time there are a lot of street food . Kim Yong market is just a few street ( walking distance ) and many food and clothes . However the facilities in the hotel are abit worn out , I hope they can fix especially the air conditioner. But everything is good in the hotel and breakfast is included (delicious food ) . Will recommend friends and family to stay here .

Nice to stay. Very convenience since it is located at the Hatyai town, you may reach your destination by taking the"dutdut" or else to the well-known places (Lee Gardens, Kim Yong Market and so on) within the less than 10min walking distance. Good service from front desk, polite and helpful. The only not-so-convenient is that there is no mineral water provided by the hotel, however there is a water distilled machine at the ground in front of the lift. Overall it is a great place to stay for a short vacation. =)

We stayed 3 days 2 night with kids this 2nd time, driving from SG to Hatyai. This time our room is at Level 10. Check in was smooth. Secure and safe carpark. The place undeniable needs upgrading revamp. You can read my previous review in Feb 2019 during our bike trip to Hatyai. There are plus and minuses in this hotel. Tuk tuk readily available in front of the hotel lobby and they are trustworthy. We took this hotel as it is placed in a strategic location in the middle of the town between Kim Yong Market and Lee Garden Street NightMarket. Massage shops and convenience stores as well as halal food is everywhere, all within walking distance. We are almost out everyday, with Tuk Tuk full day tour and we only went back to hotel late at night to wash up and sleep. Hence, the main reason why we stayed in this hotel, despite few deficiency of the hotel facilities. As long as the bed is comfortable, room is clean and our belongings are secure and safe too, we do not mind coming back again.

Great location, in the middle of everything. Everything is walking distance away - train station, robinson shopping mall, odeon, kim yong market, big market. Really appreciate the kind gesture of offering a snack station with good coffee which opens till 5pm - great for a short rest during the day. Rooms are clean and well equipped, lots of channels on TV, the toilet is equipped with a japanese style heated seat and automated bidet. WiFi access is great as well. Price is on the higher side compared to other hotels in hatyai but it is definitely worth it.

It was an excellent stay with superb breakfast and many vaieties of dishes to choose from.Within walking distance to Kim Yong market and easy to hail tut tut to tour religious and cultural sites.Easy arrangement of airport transfer(hotel to airport) by reception.enjoy, but wait till 2pm then can check in. room staff honest,friendly. room are quick clean, car park staff are also friendly,hotel 3 mins to kim yong market,5 mins to shopping centre.hotel provide foot and reflexology there massage.

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from Hatyai Railway Station. Everything is on walking distance. 3 minutes to Lee Garden Plaza and 6 minutes to Kim Yong Market. There are also two famous halal restaurant nearby the hotel which is Hamid Restaurant and Salma Restaurant. You can reach both restaurant in 5 minutes walk only. So no need to use tuktuk. Both restaurant are highly recommended with reasonable price. Also easy to get a Grab/tuktuk if you want to go to Greenway Night Market and Central Hatyai Festival Mall. Their staff also can speak English really well, so it is their bonus point. Check-in and check-out really smooth, clean hotel and good staff. Overall, i would like to recommend this hotel to everyone.

We choose this hotel because it is just about 6 minutes walk to a shop selling Zebra pans and it is just across the road to Kim Yong market. The Zebra shop sells at much lower price than any other shopping malls in Hadyai. At Kim Yong morning market you can get lots of fresh fruits, nuts and all sorts of food here. V.L is a good 3star hotel and reasonably priced. It serves halal breakfast. If you are looking for more happening, you need to walk about 5-10 minutes to Lee Garden Plaza or take the free shuttle (at the Central, opposite of Lee Garden Plaza) to go to Central Festival in town.

fantastic location, easy access to Lee Garden Plaza which means where all malls and hawker stalls and night market is located, walk to Lee Garden Plaza is only around 15 minutes and less then 5 minutes away from Kim Yong Market only, front the hotel entrance turn left and walk straight you will see Kim Yong market where you can find plenty of fresh fruits, vegetable and local food in the morning.

1. Receptionist is very friendly nice, all info provided upon query 2. Room is cozy/acceptable with basic amenities provided, 2 bottle water provided 3. Free Tuk-Tuk shuttle to Kim Yong market & Lee Garden (the Hotel selling point!) 4. Hotel environment is quiet suitable those need good rest after explore for whole day activity 5. Compliment WiFi provided (lil bit slow during peak hour) We booked 2 room with connecting, thus can’t get a new renovated room (hence the room abit decent old); & just a single door interval hence sound was clear from next door. (Room 712 & 714) Only two small lift in the building hence skip the usage during peak hour. Walking distance at least 850m (15min) to reach nearest 7eleven convenience store (near Kim Yong market) Hotel deposit is THB1000 and only accept cash. Overall is satisfy to the stay.

The location is good. Most of the attractions (Kim Yong Market, Lee Garden Plaza, Santisuk market etc) and railway station is within walking distance. If you boarded the bus from Malaysia, most of the buses last destination (Alisan, KKKL etc) is just few mins walk to this hotel. Both halal and non-halal food were easy to find around this area. As for the room, pretty decent. Good amount of TV channel, hot shower, pretty basic but the bed was comfortable. Tuk tuks are easily available outside the hotel. The only downside is sometimes there are moldy/damp smell and the walls are thin you can hear the next door chit chatting. Check-in/out process were okey, but they INSIST to have your passport regardless you provide them with a copy. In return, you travel around with a “passport receipt” that acknowledges that they have your passport for safe keeping. This was my biggest NO. Overall its a decent hotel. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this to others.

Great location with 5 to 10 mins walking distance to access all shopping areas, night street shopping,food stalls and famous wantan mee, roasted pork (Ter wan kiam chai in Thai), Kim Yong Market and Restaurant Kan Eng. The room has refurbished and fixed with LED lights and looks trendy. The plus point is separte showers. Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoy ! The only negative point is no connecting room and little inconvenient for family with kids and pls be reminded : " Do bring along a 2 pins adptor for your charger!", else spend 40baht to get it from any stalls nearby.

This place Im really recommended especially for those who come Hat yai by Train. Bcs, u just can go to train station by walk. And this place super clean! They change the towel, throw rubbish & top up toilet tissues everyday. The staff also really helpful. You can go to Lee Garden Night Market & Kim Yong Market by walk. Dont worry. 7eleven & watson also around there. You can get there by walk. But a bit noisy in the morning and night around 11pm bcs its nearby to the road side. Thanks Laemthong Hotel! 😊

Pros: •Cheap rate compared to other hotels with same facility. •Hotel let us checked in as early as 10 am. •Though the furnitures are dated..the room, bedding & bathroom are spotlessly clean. •Walking distance to Lee Garden Plaza, Kai Tod Decha Restaurant, Salma Restaurant, Kelantan Restaurant, Kim Yong Plaza, Railway Station, Robinson Dept Store, Seven Eleven. •Bellboy name Anuar is so attentive and he can speak Malay well. •Lots of TukTuk in front of hotel/also easy to get Grab. • Free TukTuk to & from Central Festival Mall (just let Anuar know). Cons: •Staff at receptionist speak minimal English and not quite warm & welcoming. • Pillows kind of hard (rubber material) but we slept safe n sound nontheless. •Got kettle and glass in the room but no tea or coffee sachet. •Hotel keep our passport so we better have copy of our passport with us. •Elevator to level 6 only. Have to walk to get to level 7 (highest level) but it was just a couple of steps away.

we reach at this hotel, they ask we to transfer to another hotel. we request for extra bed, they don't have it and it so terrible for us cz we have to share 1 bed with 4 person in that time room are fully booked. please do not do like this again and please inform earlier for not to jeopardize our holiday with service like this. overall, for the "exchange" (little bear hotel) is best service, clean and nice.

1) good location with many eateries around, 24 hour mini mart nearby. 2) night market, street stalls and Kim Yong market within walking distance. 3) temple just next door for us to do prayer conveniently. 4) we enjoyed the Sky Buffet at Lee Garden which is a short distance away. 5) massage parlour and foot reflexology centre available in the building. 6) hotel staff attended to our complain (bathroom defect) immediately. 7) counter staff served guests smilingly.

Leelawadee Resort 2 located few miles away from Hatyai Town, this make it away from crowded and noisy places, it is recommended for those who want an quiet staying environment. The best advantage this resort is there is own car parking area right in-front of your room, ideal for those who drive own car to Hatyai. Inside room have fridge, tv, air-cond, but doesn't have cupboard, should add a cupboard in the room.

stayed here for 2d1n. it's pretty far from the city. had to keep taking the motorbike taxi (abt 7 mins ride, each trip cost between 30b to 50b one way depending on the time). not many food places nearby. you can find some thaifood within the near walking distance, but the options are little. the hotel itself is located beside 3 clubs..the clubs are loud! the rooms are somewhat well insulated but you can still hear the heavy bass till about 4am or 5am, depending on what time they feel like going home. so if you're a super light sleeper, this is not a good place. as for the hotel itself. the room is spacious (i got a superior room). the shower and the room is clean. however, there isn't a coffee/tea making facility in the room, and the hotel's cafe is closed for some reason, so no breakfast/coffee here either. and hotel room view is just neighbouring buildings. the receptionist don't speak much english so communication was a lil bit of a problem. the room in which i stayed, they bulb in the shower was fused, i called them up, the room service woman came up, said something in siamese, shook her head and when away. so i had to manage with the mirror's light. so in total, the room is clean, beds are comfortable.. but there are too many other downsides, so i wouldn't stay here again. it would be better off staying smack in the city.

our room consist of 1 master bed and 1 single bed which was comfortable for 3 of us. they provide everything including the towel, mineral and soap. the service was fantastic eventhough they have trouble to speak in english..they are very helpful and most of them can speak malay..so, for those malaysian people, i really2 recomanded you to stay here.furthermore, this hotel was located near to the tourist attractions such as the floating market which sell all the halal food for muslims. there is also plenty of halal food around the hotel.other than that, its also near to the central plaza which sell all the afforable good from food, cloth, toys and etc.so check it out!!!

Stayed here for 3nights in April and this is a right choice for us. Located about 2km away from Hatyai town centre (Lee Garden or Centara) and suitable for those who drives on your own and preferred a little quiet neighborhood. You can ask for Tuk,Tuk service from the reception. The double bed room is nice, modern and clean. No carpets and tiles only (good for those who are allergic to dusts). Booked the room only without breakfast and is affordable and value for money. Got wifi, LCD TV, AC , bar fridge and also safe deposit. No coffee/tea facilities but is okay for us. 24hrs Tesco Lotus or 7,11 stores just about 2mins walk/500metres away and at night got local eateries places to eat. There's a good Thai massage centre nearby called Oliver Ancient Massage :) Different types of stalls and food located nearby and mostly catered for the local Thais here. Will certainly recommend to everyone who would like to try somewhere less touristic and go for some local taste.
