"Located not too far from the town centre - about 15 mins slow walk. Only about 80 baht in tuk tuk so we tended to walk down to the town and night market and get tuk tuk back. Ideally situated for the Saturday Night Walking Street market and lovely park just behind hotel which was lit up at night with various statues etc. We organised private car from the hotel to take us out for full day for about £50 and was able to create our own itinerary rather than follow set trip. Do not miss the White Temple. Hotel gives free shuttle to airport/bus station. There is a free tram around the town twice daily which departs from close to the King Mengrai Monument by the hotel - ask at reception. On arrival the receptionist gave us a map and showed us all the local sights which was a nice touch. Swimming pool was nice but got very busy so sunbeds not always available."

"Mora Boutique Hotel is the best place we have ever stayed at. Service Staff food bar pool spa and Accommodation are all 5 star . The amazing staff were there to help with anything we needed and also booked a wonderful day trip to the White temple Buddha and tea plantation and the price was great .The rooms are beautiful with everything you need and the bed and pillows were like sleeping on clouds . Mora is walking distance to many sites etc the clock tower markets restaurants . If you like there is a complimentary shuttle bus to town as well as complimentary snacks. Please don't stay any where else you will love this place and all it has to give like we did. We will definitely return to this wonderful Boutique Hotel "

"This is my 3rd time I stayed at this hotel. The hotel locates on main road of Chiangrai. It is a short walk from hotel to city park and famous clock monument. Hotel staff are very friendly. "

"Everything about the hotel was a positive from From our airport pick up, to the warm welcome we received at check in we couldn't have wanted a better place to stay after our 23+ hours flying from New York City to Chiang Rai.The hotel is comprised or two story bungalows set in flowering gardens. Our room on the second floor had an outside balcony with comfortable furniture, our room was divided into teo areas, one with a large comfortable bed, dresser, tv, etc. The other with a desk/work area and a small frig. The hotel provided drinking water in glass resealable bottles, which is much better then throw away plastic bottles. The pool has a view of the river along with more gardens. We had one of the best massages we have ever had and before dinner a hotel shuttle took us to the night market and picked us up at the agreed upon time.For a candle lit dinner outside with live music and the sounds of the river flowing by, not to mention a truly delicious Thai meal and great service. A hotel not to be missed if visiting the area."

"For the money we paid we expected a lot more! The location from the centre was incorrect not that we minded walking. The hotel staff couldn’t speak a lot of English so checking in and asking questions were difficult. (Partly our fault for not being able to speak a lot of Thai.) We had booked a double but ended up with a twin. We stayed for 5 nights 4 nights too many. "

"This is a very new hotel that start up. As expected, it is clean. The basic facilities of the hotel are well given. Nothing more to ask for. Staffs know basic eng and Chinese and has been very cheerful. Well appreciated by them, from the small token that was given to me. Thank you "

"Excellent location. Night market/bus terminal is within 5min. walking distance. Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed at King private room. Welcome drink and complementary breakfast were exceptionally. Room was nicely setup and clean. Only one negative point about the stay was the road noise; motobikes, cars and buses run throughout whole night. "

"This an exceptionally nice place: very clean, large bed w/ down comforter and nice pillows, an electric tea kettle, dishware, a microwave, plug-ins, .... lots of amenities-- by far the nicest place I've stayed in for under $20. The patio is peaceful. I could easily live here for a month. The staff doesn't speak any English, but the check-in process is straight forward: fill out guest card. There are many English signs and contact numbers. The staff seemed very business-like, not particularly welcoming, no hello in English or Thai-- but maybe because I don't speak Thai it's a bit intimidating. And I had just come from a trek, so I was dressed very casually."
