The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The location at KL Sentral makes it a center to reach other places by public transport. However they need to improve their service and communication. My girlfriend and I drove to Hilton and reached the hotel around mid-night. There was no one to help with the bags or give us direction on where to park our car. While I do understand that it is not the busiest part of the day I definitely expect a 5-star hotel to have impeccable service which was not met. Secondly, valet parking was charged even for hotel guests. While the idea of charging is okay the fact that no one told me when they took the car key from me was a bit surprising. I would have definitely appreciated if the valet informed me of the charges and other options before taking my car. Lastly and most importantly, THERE WAS NO FREE INTERNET even if one is staying at the hotel. This was neither explicitly stated when booking the room nor given as an additional option. To stay in a 5-star hotel with no free internet is crazy. At least provide it as an add-on when booking the room. It felt like staying in a motel in the early 2000's to use your laptop and free complimentary internet. Every other hotel I have booked through AGODA whether it is 5-star or not has had free internet connection(sometimes choppy) for those staying in the hotel.

Stayed in June 2015 for a short staycation over weekend. The location is great - walking distance to the KL Bird Park & Botanical Garden. There are free shuttle buses for hotel guests to prominent shopping areas: KL Sentral (every 30min), StarHill/Pavilion (every 1hr) & Midvalley (every 1hr). Parking is RM10 per day (unlimited entries). The gym is 24 hrs and equipment are new and maintained. Pool is small but it serves purpose for quick swim. The room itself was nice (Deluxe King) and spacious with a huge bathtub. Buffet breakfast had a nice selection. Staff was exceptional and friendly. There are only 2 choices of hotel restaurants- Contango (buffet) & Colonial Cafe (ala carte). The menu at Colonial Cafe is expensive, so for dinner its best to head out on shuttle to variety of restaurants around KL.

I spent one night in this lovely hotel in the busy city of Kuala Lumpur. It is very convenient as it is directly connected to the KL Sentral. I would think it is slightly better than the Hilton or Le Meridien, as both these hotels are connected to the busier Sentral terminal, hence more crowded and messy during peak hours; while Aloft is connected to the Nu Sentral shopping mall and monorail station, which gives it an overall less crowded appearance, and yet still a stone throw's away from the central terminal. Overall, I think the hotel is great, being new and friendly staff are the two main features of Aloft. We stayed in the Suite at 27th floor, and it was very beautiful and with stunning view. They even provided a camp (yes! a camp!) in the room for FREE, for my kids to play with, and another 2 air-mattresses to accompany that tent! Very innovative! All the mini bar drinks are FREE too, and they generously provided 4 bottles of mineral water. The room was very spacious, probably because it is a suite. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The location was so great that I could take my kids to travel in the LRT and monorail trains, and they absolutely loved it. And we could even end our day by catching a movie at the cinema (so brand new!) in Nu Sentral Mall. However two things I quite dislike about this hotel - the signboards leading towards the hotel parking, if you drive to Sentral KL, are not very clear, and that made me turn a few rounds before getting in; and still I thought I have gone into an office block car parks (actually they shared the car park premises). Secondly the water pressure in my room was considered awful, very weak, and I didn't quite enjoy the bath; furthermore, there is only a rain shower and does not have any handheld shower head, hence it was quite difficult to bathe my 5 year old kiddo. But if anyone of you thinking to stay in Sentral KL, I think this is the hotel you will not regret staying in.,

City Central Hotel is the best budget hotel I've booked so far. The hotel located exactly in front of Nu Sentral entrance and just few walk away from monorail station. The staff greet me before I even enter the hotel. Receptionist is friendly as well, very accommodate. The door man help bring my luggage to my room even though it was a small hand carry luggage. The room is very clean, equipped with disposable toothbrush, soap, shampoo, and even mini bar. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends traveling to KL.

I've used this hotel several times. It is one of the best reasonable hotels in KL, given that there are so many horrible but rip-off hotels in the city. It is walking distanse to KL sentral station, so if you are before/after a flight, or if you plan to go around the city with trains, it is convenient. There are not many good restaurants around but you can always go to the station to grab some easy food. Rooms are clean with good amenities including free wifi. Receptionists are polite. The neighborhood is not safe, but I heard that there is a plan to renovate the whole area in the near future.

First time stay at this hotel for one night because we were looking for alternative hotels near KL Sentral. Had the rest of our stays at other hotel. The Nu's location is a winner, so close to the monorail, KL Sentral, restaurants and mini-markets. The staffs were attentive but perhaps they could smile more? The room was spacious, the air-con was ok, not cold enough for us but it was not hot. The amenities were ok. The bathroom was small but ok, only disappointment was the shower was not fully closed so after showering, the wet floor all over the place was a bit inconvenient for us. But overall the stay was satisfactory.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at KL Bangsar Suites EST and when we arrived we were surprised by the spaciousness of the apartment. There was even a sofa bed and a single bed on the loft. The apartment is able to accommodate at least 6 to 7 adults. The place was clean and everything was neat and in order. We requested for the apartment on a high floor and the view was spectacular. The location of the suite is connected to an LRT station which is one station away from KL Sentral that proved a convenience for travel. Across the suite is Bangsar town where there are restaurants and cafes for food. The apartment is also very near to Mid Valley and you can get there easily by Grab. Security at the apartment was tight and the staff were helpful to meet our requests and even whatsapped before the day we arrived to check our check in which most lodgings do not practice. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We hope to return and stay in the same apartment again if we ever come to KL again.

I have stayed at many hotels in KL and the surrounding areas, mostly on business and being able to shuttle around to meetings outside or having the great environment for meetings at the hotel is an obvious advantage for a busy business traveller. Being right beside KL central station provides the additional option of being able to travel by train and provides direct access to both international airports. The pool, gym and recreational facilities are ideal for unwinding. The wireless internet access throughout the hotel in addition to the well appointed rooms make the hotel a great place to stay. I rate as being one of the top hotels in KL.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I was there for 7 nights, probably longer than most people, as it seems like a "transit hotel" where people usually stay for 1 or 2 nights. Considering how inexpensive this hotel was (and it is rated as a 2-star hotel), I was actually really impressed by every aspect. The staff are all extremely friendly and courteous. Check-in and check-out was very fast and easy. Everything functioned well in the room: The safe was a decent size, it fit all my valuables including laptop comfortably; no issues with electricity, lighting, or fan/AC; the toilet, shower, and sink were all clean, good water pressure; bed linens were clean and comfortable. I asked for an iron and ironing board on my second day at the front desk and it was brought to my room immediately, and I was able to keep it there for the whole week. The location is amazing, about a 5 min walk from Nu Sentral (a new mall which is connected to KL Sentral, which is the main hub for public transportation in the city). It was fast and easy to get anywhere in KL. I came back most nights at 1 or 2am and I felt safe in the neighbourhood, it's always quite busy on the road, even very late. I added a very small additional fee to my room in order to have access to the breakfast buffet. It was worth it. The food is by no means gourmet, but it was a perfectly adequate breakfast. I had fried rice, noodles, seafood dumpling, chicken nuggets, fried egg, a bowl of fresh fruit (pineapple and watermelon), and juice every morning. Over all I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay somewhere clean, safe, convenient, and they don't have a large budget. I spent about $40 CAD a night (you can do your respective conversions), and this is certainly among the best hotels in KL for that price. I will definitely be coming back here again.

hotel location: strategic location since it is walking distance from kl sentral which is hotspot for all modes of transportation in/out of kl. hotel services: the room is big enough with good ambiance of the interior design. the bathroom were big and clean it has cable and telephone the aircon works perfectly good and will definitely provide good sleep hotel staff: the staff are accommodating and always wear their best smile good thing the receptionist is pinay and was able to help me out with directions. :) hotel rate: cheapest among others in such strategic location but provides extra good service and quality.

we stayed twice in this hotel - once for 2 nights upon arrival from europe and for 1 night on our way back to europe, after travelling cambodia and thailand. as we arrived quite tired it was important that it was easy to find the hotel, the room was available - even though it did have window only facing another wall but therefore it was silent there - no noise from the streets outside! there is a small tourist office in the lobby where we got impottant info how to reach several places and as we like to walk we walked to the fantastic bird park and the butterfly park , took the lrt to the petronas towers and had 2 days of wonderful sightseeing not missing chinatown as well with the petaling street:)/ walkable from the hotel as well!

This is one of the best budget hotels I have ever stayed. It is very close to KL Sentral station so if you are going to use public transport in KL or visit any parts of Malaysia, KL Sentral is the best location. Staffs are very friendly especially the Malaysian lady at the reception. Room is really clean and there is a an electric kettle and coffee in the room. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. We loved KL city so much that we have decided to revisit there again and we will definitely be staying in this hotel again.

this is a very simple and affordable hotel you can find in KL whichnis near in KL Sentral and NU Sentral mall, location wise is great. Recommended for all who wants to have a vacation in KL, many parking spaces and pay parking near the hotel if you have a car or if you dont have, it's a minute walk to KL Sentral where you can access all the train route to different places.

Although confused of My Hotel ( phone is dead) I went to 3 different My Hotels in KL Sentral area Found out that this is being YMCA, few steps to KL Sentral stn. We arrived from Sri Lanka very early morning although I requested for early check in still not possible unless you pay extra. Receptionist Ayu is the sweetest Malay I ever met at the reception she handled my request very professionally communicating with the rest of the staffs to get ready for early check in. I have my elderly aunt that needed the bed desperately after the flight. I thank you Ayu for your kind gesture. Keep up the good works!

I have stayed in many 5 & 6 Stars hotels around the world, and St. Regis in KL is one of the best hotel I have stayed. The cleanliness and attention to detail for the room's daily cleaning and turn down service is far beyond expectations. Well done housekeeping department! Butler's personal handwritten note everyday and evening adds that special touch to the guest's stay. Astor Bar is nicely decorated in a very New York style and serves amazing Martinis🍸🍸 I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Kuala Lumpur, as I would most definitely come back to stay in the near future visit to KL.

I stay here during all my trip to KL due to its strategic location at KL Sentral. The hotel is just below the monorail station and easy access to KL sentral. Clean and hygienic with comfortable bed. Good facilities with hot shower, cupboard, LCD TV, writing table and chair, coffee making facilities, even with free coffee and tooth brush/paste. Best of all, they also have Coway water purifier and dispenser at ground floor for free refill of drinking water. However, there are no lift but it's ok to walk up to 1st or 2nd floor with helpful staffs to help you carry the luggage. Do take note, they only have queen size bed and no twin sharing, so if you are thinking of sharing room, you may have to share the bed too! Finally, really like the friendly front office staffs especially Mr. Rubel who is very helpful and nice! Good value for money for business traveler!

Surprised by the comfort of this hotel (labeled as a budget one) I find that it has almost everything you might need if you find yourself traveling in KL alone. Walking distance from KL Sentral station (the express from the airport will leave you here and, also, the MRT is here) The staff is approachable and very friendly. The room is clean with a comfortable bed, warm and high-pressure water for shower, free bottled water, functional AC, my room had a window too, and enough space for someone who wants to find a cozy place to crash after wandering around all day. The area is quiet during the night. Cons: There was no toothbrush (I'm usually not bringing mine) Anyway, it was very cheap to get one from the 7-eleven just across the street. And maybe the unnecessary big TV, haha. Joking, but you'll be surprised by its size for sure

I was stay at this hotel for a weekend getaway since my house located at KL. This hotel is peaceful and nearby to Nu Sentral which are easy for us to buy our groceries. And the swimming pool is very suitable for us because it just 1.2 meter depth. So far, this is the best hotel for me due to it surrounding that are calm and peaceful eventhough it located at city of KL.

I am a regular customer since year 2012 . For me , it is d best in KL. I get more than I paid. KL Sentral is 100meter or less from d hotel! There is also lots of food around. My children n I r particularly love d char kueh tiaw @ fried rice noodles by a hawker stall named Kannan which located in Taman Selesa right opposite d hotel. Convenient stores r around too within walking distance. Post office is next to it only. Conclusion-Perfect location. Should be my first choice forever.

This is our 2nd stay here, A good value for money! Very cheap, but still rooms are always clean! And Aircon is excellent That's why this places is almost always fully booked. I will surely stay here on my 3rd visit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Very near to Buses, Trains, Taxis, Because it is located just beside KL Sentral. Security is very good! 2 guards always roam the lobby, Hallway and Parking Area. And they always greet you ^^ And most specially, Never sleeps in their duty ^^ 24hr Front Desk is always helpful and attentive. Food is good but service is a bit slow. My Rating for this is 9/10

Hotel location is strategic. just 100 meters to Monorail Station and 400 meters to KL Sentral Station which you can catch KTM Komuter, LRT Kelana Jaya, KL express&Transit, Go Genting, and airport bus . This hotel located in Brickfields area as known as little India of Kuala Lumpur. Cleanliness is awesome. Coffee and tea maker works good. At the end of the alley there is an iron. electronic plug inside room work properly. shower and water heater works good. Television channel is worth with what you paid. Air conditioner works good and cool. I stayed in Deluxe Triple Room with city view and window. I choose room without breakfast so I could not give rates for breakfast. Staff is helpful with my request.There are many choices of breakfast near the hotel. Facilities is basic which is matched with this hotel concept. Lift works good. You will not confuse to stay at this hotel because it worth for your money.

I was checked in for 3 nights and it was great. I don't have any complains. There's free drinking water, free shampoo and shower gel, housekeeping everyday. One thing I noticed before booking this hotel is that people complained about the noise, sure. The walls are definitely thin, I could hear my neighbors fighting in the next room but, its fair for the price they offer. I have had my fair share of 2, 3, 4, 5 stars hotels so don't look for luxury when you're paying for a budget hotel. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room I was imagining that I saw on the pictures, they gave me something better. It was spacious. Security-wise it is pretty safe. They have the key card that specifically takes you to your floor and no where else. So if say, you want to go to another floor, you can't. It's gonna be your floor then the lobby. That's pretty safe to avoid anyone breaking in. Location-wise, it's right in front of NU sentral mall which is also connected to the KL Sentral station. We took a train from JB to KL Sentral and walked to the hotel. 10 minutes. Or maybe less. I went to Petronas Tower thru KL Sentral so it's pretty convenient when you're a solo traveller because the mrt is right there. Going to the airport is no problem as well. The bus that will take you directly to KLIA/KLIA2 is right in front of the hotel. You just have to cross the street via the skywalk then walk in front, 5 minutes. I guess that's where you will drop off as well if you enter KL via plane. One thing, I'd like to have though is food service. At least have chips or microwavable food available. There's a 7/11 down the street but at 3am when you get hungry, it would be much better if you can just call and order from them. So that's it, loved my stay there, I don't know yet if KL is on my travel plans in the next years but i will definitely recommend Hotel Westree to friends and family and if ever I come back, will definitely stay here.

The Sun Inns is the best 2-star hotel you can find in KL Sentral for under 100 ringgit. The queen size bed is the most comfortable for any around, the shower is fair, the rooms are clean, and, unlike most places around, the WiFi is fantastic! To me, that is just about all I need. So I'll continue to return to Sun Inns like I've been doing for a long time now. (Tip: take a train or bus from KLIA to KL Sentral, and use uber to get from the station to the Hotel. It's only a half-kilometer or so, but Uber doesn't charge a minimum fare, so the trip will only cost you 3-4 ringgit, and save you a sweaty walk with luggage. :) )

My guest stayed there for 4 days. I booked for a triple room but has no window so one of my guest has to booked another room because shes claustrophobic. I wish they have informed us earlier (also I didnt know it be an issue with my guest). I didn't expect that my booking was on the other branch (not the ones you see in the picture), it is located somewhere near Little India. The good thing is that they provide free shuttle to the nearest commercial centers like NU Sentral, KL Sentral and Petaling Street. Overall, they have a pleasant stay, staff are accommodating, they provide free bottled water every day

Totally no bad point I give. I had experienced a terrible hotel in KL before I stayed this awesome hotel. Even though the rate I give here comes from the comparison with the last bad hotel, I as a Japanese felt Royce hotel itself was very nice. E.g affordable, clean, great facilities, kind staff (speaking English nice), comprementary massage (maybe limited service) Anyway from my idea you can't expect a nice view from any room. I think this hotel is good for young coulple or friends or business persons.

We really love this hotel. we had nice rooms, very new furniture, bathroom is so wonderful, clean and new. location is excellent. just walk 7min you will get to sentral station. less than 3km to bird park. hotel is in heart of little india. hotel staff are so friendly and service 24/7. we arrived so early in morning (2am) but they also provide us hair dryer and adaptor free of charge. If I go back to kUL, definately I will stay in this hotel again. Next to hotel (just 500m to sentral station), there is a chinese restaurant which is very nice and cheap. hotel is less than 1km from china town.

It was confusing to find the location if you are walking as there are a few ZEN Rooms Hotel near KL Sentral such as " ZEN Rooms KL Bricksfield " on the Google Maps whilst this was named as " ZEN Rooms Jalan Tun Sambanthan " That aside, the humble hotel is situated at the lively street of Little India. The room although small, was very clean and tidy and great for the night. There is a flat screen TV, electric kettle, some coffee and tea and mineral water. Do note there are no fancy facilities such as swimming pool or dining area. I would definitely come back here. Price is great too.
