My mother and I booked this hotel on 16th March, just a day away from our actual stay period from 17th March to 19th March. Bayview was honestly unexpectedly a great stay for my mother and I as they provided us with a service beyond our expectations. Booking through Agoda was definitely the best choice I have ever made due to it’s cashless, smooth and fast way of booking. We thought we were left with no options finding a hotel with the price range that we wanted, but Agoda proved us otherwise. We thought Bayview was meh, 4-star hotel, probably just so-so, but we were wrong. When we reached there, the staffs were all, and i mean literally all we met was smiley and provided a great service from the start of our stay till the end. When we reached our premier hotel facing the sea view, we were amazed by how huge the room and the toilet was, the room also had a hairdryer and an iron with an iron board which i am particular about as a person. All the drinks in the fridge were complimentary for us. They even called up our hotel on our second day stay to ask politely whether we are coming to enjoy their complimentary drinks at the executive lounge at the 14th floor. They had lovely pizza (1 type-i think it was supreme flavour), sandwhiches, fruits and 2 types of cakes, milk, coffee, tea and plain water with a tv on at the executive lounge. We enjoyed it. On our second night we decided to just order room service food from the ‘flamingo’ food service which is exactly the same food service provided for breakfast buffet, we requested for satay with more gravy and yup we got more gravy, not one ingredient was short. Moreover, the total price had a discount of 20% off tops. Did i mention the buffet spread was awesome? - they had everything from rice, to mee goreng to dim sum to roti canai to pasta, starting to make me think that they’re really open to choice of flavours from different cultures. Stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. Staffs are very friendly, always greet us whenever we bumped into any of the staff. Breakfast is just a so-so. Crossaint & live station of prata & egg station is the best. Otherwise, everyday about the same food. Loving the ladies pool. No one was there most of the time so me and my friend had the entire pool to ourselves. View at ladies pool is so calming and nice. Room cleanliness is okay, would be better if the carpet is more softer and cleaner looking. View in our room is superb, sea view! Benefits is we can sun dry our swimming clothes at the balcony. Tv channels are limited but okay. We’re out doing activities most of the time anyway. Toilet size is just nice, not too big or too small. Shower towel however was rough texture. Ironing board is not cushion enough so when I iron my clothes, have those ironing board marks. Those criss cross thingy. Distance to the main attractions of Langkawi is far. We took grab everyday because we didn’t hire any driver or we don’t drive/ride. Grab price to and back attraction place is about RM18 each. However, hotel is near the jetty. Hotel is also beside a mall but don’t expect much from the mall. We went to the pasar malam everyday because everyday different place. Nice adventure. KFC is just opposite our hotel, a great help to fix our dinner because we were so dead tired from snorkelling but still want to eat bcos hungry. Haha! There’s a counter at the ground level of hotel where you can enquire & book for places of attraction. The staff there, Fatin, was very helpful and able to communicate in English. Benefit for my Chinese friend, at least I don’t have to do translation. Transaction for the attractions is smooth and our driver (sorry I forgot your name) to heli + skycab is very helpful and friendly too. Would recommend this place definitely for my muslim ladies friends who wants to go ladies swimming pool and for in the future if I want some nice quieter, less busy ambience.

I'm a mother of four young hyper active kids aged 1-10 years old.when we arrived & got our rooms immediately I noticed it was not the connecting rooms that I've requested earlier when I booked online. The desk officer was very kind to assist me in a very short time, made up a couple of rooms for us in a jiffy.of course we had to wait for the rooms to be ready but I was very pleased with the service,the hospitality,the good manners that it was fine for me and my hyperactive kids to wait at the coffee house having hi-tea.and when our rooms were ready, I was even more pleased with what I have paid for.the newly renovated deluxe rooms were warm and comfortable. my husband initially suggested that we change hotel the second night if they were not up to our liking but we stayed there for the whole of our vacation. The rooms were cleaned and maintained daily. its very easy to get their staff to help you with anything. its like they're waiting outside your door all the time. Even though there was not so much of variety in the spread of food but compliments to the chef for serving us a delightful meal every time. We rented a family car so there was no trouble for us to go about.the shopping areas were just around the corner and just a few minutes from kuah town.the swimming pool was half roofed so my kids had lots of fun there even when it was raining.I will surely stay there again in my next visit to the fascinating island.

The resort hotel is gorgeous beyond words. It looks exactly like the photos you see. The staff at the concierge were especially helpful in getting cabs, buggy to the gym for us to take a quick shower before we left for the airport after we checked out in the morning for our mangrove tour. Grab a mango milkshake at the infinity pool bar - so tasty! The only thing I have to comment is definitely do not swim in the infinity pool after nightfall. There's so many dead insects and other creatures lying around in the pool. It's like a Dead Sea! The hotel cleans and changes water at 8pm. I can't speak for how clean the pool is in the morning but evening or night swimming is a definitely no no. Breakfast was amazinggggg. The choices they have is more than adequate but there can be more seats available. When everyone comes in for breakfast Seasonal Taste becomes a five star hotel restaurant no more. It is like a wet market. What a pity, with its gorgeous view outside. The view makes up for everything. It's so so worth it! Book early for even better rates. This place is so popular! Get a part sea view room. We stayed in one but it didn't have a sea view. Next day we were suppose to changed to a room with patio but they upgraded us to a part sea view instead which I'm so glad and thankful for. Because waking up to the sea is bliss!!! I will so come back here again! Again, remember to book EARLY!

our Stay at Baghia Was Gr8, But very hard to search the hotel as there was no direction boards at the road junction that lead to he hotel, it is on the Subramani swami, Murugan Hindu Temple road, No access to Beach as it is in kuah town, Nr.Jetty. we rented a car for RM 100/= for two days Petrol for 20 RM is more the enough to go around. but have to park the car on the road .Small but comfort rooms, superb front office staff, esp Mr. ERIC the manager, complimentary Wifi internet at the lobby, free use of internet and pc at the Business Center over all the rooms are small but your stay is cool and memorable

My sister and I stayed 3 nights and found our room very comfortable including all our needs with a lovely view of the marina. We did have a problem the first night - our original room was above a noisy late night bar - but the staff changed us out with no problem to one of a similar quality and no noise. IN general, the staff were very helpful. The breakfast terrace has fantastic views and the infinity pool with jacuzzi is surrounded by a wonderful chill out area. Very close to the ferry terminial, we could walk to the hotel when we arrived. At the terminal, we found a very cheap car rental great to get around the island. There are some international restaurants in the marina itself. The marina is close to a hawker food corner if you want a cheap and genuine Malay culinary experience and walking distance to a complex with lots of international restaurant options. Would visit again!

Good location. Spacious room and clean amenities despite the interiors being less modern. Loved the Hari Raya deco at the main lobby. Thumbs up for the friendly staff as well - the whole team! Because of its perks, I can see why it is a popular choice for travel groups from a certain foreign country to stay in langkawi. Which is good for our economy! (looking at the bright side of this..) Majority members of this travel group are very rowdy and sometimes oblivious. Once, during breakfast - I was tapped at the shoulder and talked to in a loud, foreign language - the lady wanted me to refill the milk for the cornflakes. Perhaps thinking I was the worker there? So, other guests may want to adjust the times you go for your breakfast buffet (meaning not too early) as you might be overwhelmed by the large number of these group members. the queue for the egg/roti canai station can be quite long. If tolerance is not your best virtue, choose another hotel.

My husband and I decided on St. Regis Langkawi, was the best choice, after sourcing a few other hotels. And boy, were we in for a treat. The staff were attentive and friendly. They were very welcoming. We got upgraded FOC as they knew we were on our anniversary. The decor was so immaculate and luxurious. If the facilities in St. Regis weren't enough, you can get a buggy ride to use the sister's hotel, Westin, facilities. The hotels are just next to each other. A butler was assigned to each of the suites, and should we require their services, they would attend to us. I've never felt so pampered. I wish I can come and stay in this little piece of heaven again in the future. (:

I stay at langkasuka hotel for 4d3n,what I can say is it was worth hotel to stay. I love the staff friendly as they help us a lot in guiding us choose the best attraction at Langkawi. I would love to stay here again. For me the location is suutable for me but having rental is a must if you want stay here, as the location quite far from airport,cenang beach,cable car.The grab service is easily to get here but if you are in bigger group its affordable. during my stay I didnt book for breakfast, but I have talked to other tourist they were satisfied with the breakfast prepared. This hotel just beside langkawi parade as you can find pharmacy,food,cloth,ATM etc easily. Yeah, the building decoration looks quite old and you need to walk quite far to go to your room, but other than that I was satisfied with the cleaniness and service.👍👍👍

As travelled with a 16th months baby & a 10yr old active boy. A good hotel at convenient location come handy. The 2 storey Riverra Hotel is rather new in Kuah town & not difficult to find via Waza (mobile app). Room is pretty simple & clean, Wifi is a plus point to this hotel. We have pretty good connection in our room.The restaurant at hotel was closed due to fasting month, but food isn't an issue because it's only 5 min drive to nearby eateries. We booked our island hopping trip (adult RM35/Children RM30 incldg Hotel pick up) via the hotel & no complaint at all as the little one had so much fun along the boat trip. Generally happy with Riverra Inn & will come back again.

The rooms were very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay there. Air-conditioning was strong and although power was cut out to our room (only), the staff and manager was quick in resolving the issue. Owner most conversant in Mandarin (as he is Chinese) and can speak English as well. I'm not sure about his Melayu proficiency as I can't speak Melayu at all. Very friendly owner; came to Langkawi without much planning and he recommended many activities for us (with discounted rates for some) which helped us to fill our 4 days there. Room was very clean and I must say it doesn't feel like a two-star hotel! Extremely affordable and value for money. Basic eateries nearby (coffee-shop/hawker) style so you can easily settle lunch and dinner. It's a 5 minute walk away from a night market/pasar malam which happens every Wednesday. Not sure where to get breakfast because we skipped it. Downside is that it's very far from the Pantai Cenang area. We didn't have a driving license so we spent quite a fair bit on taxi fares. Near to the jetty so you get to return to the hotel first after island hopping tours or trip to Pulau Pasar! Overall I would really recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable stay!

Our stay was very good. The hotel was clean and was fixed by the room service everyday (when we were out). It is definately worth the money! Quite cheap and a comfortable stay. Best thing is that it is centrally located, vloser to the local restaurants and shopping centres, and to put a cherry on it, it was closer to the massage centres and bars. So it was good to relax after a long tiring day to come home and chill nearby. Parking is also available just infront of the hotel so you dont have to worry about your car that much. Dont expect too much from the hotel as it is not a 5 star hotel, just that the money i paid for it was totally worth it.

The best things about this hotel is that there is a shopping complex jointed building with it. Thanks to this, you can buy souveniers (chocolates, duty free gifts) to families without having to walk far or worried about transportation and parking space. The location of this hotel is close to the jetty so saved money of the cap fare. The food served was also alright, overall this hotel is suited for family planned vacation.

Have not been to Langkawi and before booking with them, I called the hotel to make all sorts of enquiries and their staffs were so patient with me answering to their best knowledge, they were not in the hurry to cut me off. I got good advise from them and am very impressed with the way they treat prospective customers. Guided me with the booking and making sure our request were followed through. The manager took our feedback for future improvements very well. We had a good sharing session. They carry out their business with fairness and I extol them for being honest at sharing with us where to get a decent lunch or dinner and where to shop. I will come back and will definitely put forward my recommendations to my acquaintances.Cheers to the people who made us very welcomed!

Booked 5 standard rooms, stayed for 3 days 2 nights with my family. New,clean, neat and comfortable room with good WiFi at room even outside at the parking area. Value to money. Very closed to the jetty (island hopping) and RAMS (shopping) where easy to get there by walk. But hotel management need to improve the security because really easy to access by outsider through lift and staircase. No guard at all.

the hotel is one of the best i stayed in during my trip to langkawi. located in the kuah town it will be the most convenient place for those who are coming to langkawi by ferry (taxi is 10 rm from jetty terminal to the hotel, walking distance 25 mins). the hotel is quite new (dec 2011), very clean for the price paid. 2 minuses are the very slow wi-fi and not the best night staff at the reception desk.

Hotel is on the mainroad, which is slightly noisy if you have a room fronting the road. The front office staff if most helpful and friendly. Hotel reasonably clean, and rates are acceptable. Near to eateries. But definitely quite far from the beach(Pantai Ceneng), airport and Oriental Village (for the cable car) if you have to rely on cabs. Also quite a walk to the Jetty (for ferries to outlying islands, Satun(in Thailand),Kuala Perlis).It is best you get a rented car - again, you have to bargain for the best rate at the airport or jetty pick up points!

I originally booked 3 family room and 1 couple room. When I arrive at the hotel, i was informed that their family room actually two rooms with connecting door. One room consist of one queen bed and the other one was two single beds. They also gave me free upgrade for one of my booking. The staffs were so friendly and the rooms were very clean. Their location also good. There are many shops around the hotel as well as restaurants. We just walk there.

I came across this hotel when I was looking for accommodation nearby Langkawi Fair as I had a running event flag off there. The hotel is easier to spot as it's located facing main road. I was welcomed by the friendly staff. I really like my room as it's quiet and equipped with basic needs. I've read the review that there is no lift in this hotel. But this does not bother me much. They gave me the same room for my entire stay though I booked in separately. There are a lot eateries nearby at walking distance. Very convenient to get food and groceries. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended!

After 2 weeks in each of singapore bali& penang this is my favorite hotel Set in a real forest with plenty of entertaining wildlife we love it You do need transport but MR15 will get you to kuah in a taxi but a scooter is cheapest & best The owners & staff are excellent friendly people All in all a gem of a place which i,m sure we will return to & so pleased we found it!!

Overall we are satisfied with our 2 nights stay in MQ Hotel, the hotel is quite new and location is really strategic, is about 5 to 10 min drive to supermarket and restaurants. There is no kids pool so the pool is not suitable for toddler and there is only thing I suggest for improve is the breakfast. They offer with limited choice, usually nasi lemak or fried bihun (either one), roti with butter or jam and boiling eggs. Nasi lemak and bihun are quite spicy for children. Overall we are happy stayed in this hotel and will come back again.

The location of this hotel is very good. 10mins by car from the kuah jetty. There are night markets on every wednesday and saturday night which is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. There are quite a handful of eateries and restaurants near the hotel. Among them, there's a vegetarian eating house. There are many duty free shops 5mins away, selling chocolates, souvenoir, cosmetics, cookware etc! The room is clean, bed is very comfy and the bathroom is also very nice. The staff there is also very helpful. They offered cheaper than normal car chauffer services and tour packages! Overall we had a great stay over this hotel. Will definitely go back next time!

2 boys on reception werr AMAZING. Carpets need replacing. Furniture needs updating. For £10 per night ot wss perfect! Huge appartment type room. TV didn't work well. Brand new mattress. Kitchen with mugs but no facilities like a kettle. Needs a bit if work but as I said for 10£ it was great for us. We had a motorbike to get around but this is a nessesity anywhere on the island really as all the sights are spread out. Or just take a cab.

The staff at the reception was very helpful, and you can order sate to be delivered to your doorstep. The internet kept having to be restarted. The best part was the room. Indeed it is very "comel" (cute). There is space for a double bed, a narrow toilet/bathroom and about two feet of walking space. It's great for crashing into a deep slumber, being so dark and sans windows and all. There is also a water dispenser for hot/cold water.
