"One of the best hotels I stayed in Singapore! The front desk staff was really welcoming, he upgraded my room to a suite even though I only stayed for one night. The price is good for its service, location and the room itself. It's only 1 mins walk to Bencoolen MRT station and 5 mins walk to Orchard Rd. The room is spacious with huge window facing the main road. Best thing of the hotel is that they provide you with Handy smartphone that you can bring outside the hotel to access the internet so if you don't get a SIM card or wifi pocket in Singapore, this is really handy (no pun intended). There is convenience store and food court that's open until 2 AM just across the street. I definitely will be coming back next time I visit Singapore!"

"This is not a 5* hotel so one should not compare. I had a great stay as always. The receptionists may not smile much, but they are friendly n check-in is a breeze! The standard rooms are not very small or cramp, in fact, is a reasonable size. They provide almost all the basic necessities, except for toothbrush & toothpaste n a mini bar/fridge - Standard room. But the rates are worth it despite its an old hotel. But the location is excellent. A walk to the nearest MRT is only less than 5mins! I have stayed her quite a few times, which i enjoyed staying; more than my current place (having to squeez in a roon with my sister). Not forgetting there is also a food court just behind the hotel n it take a mere 3-min walk! Will be back again n its 1 of my fav 3 star hotel to rest n chill with lotsa privacy. Take note: The aircon temp can be really cold - Which is good! Those who are afraid of the cold, remember to have ur jacket ready. Late check-out i got was only til 12.30pm, never once had 1 or 2pm check-out - Could be due to high occupancy. No room service but lotsa eateries around, so no complains. There's also drink vending machines and free ice machine located on certain floors. - Thumb up! "

"The hotel located at the heart of Bugis, thus near to Haji Lane, Bugis Junction & Bugis+, Bras Basah MRT, and a temple that has street food or market outaide of it. Hotel staffs are very warm and helpful, and they serve delicious breakfast. The best part is that they give u a handyphone, whixh is android based. It allows u to make an unlimited local and international call, as well as unlimited.4G internet. Very convenience. Other thing is that by connecting ur phone to wifi, it allows you to project ur phone screen to the tv, hence you can watch movie comfortably.."

"I'm a frequent backpacker so I've stayed in a lot of backpacker hotels around the world. This was a good one i must say as its well equipped and clean. I've booked 1 double bed capsule & 1 single bed capsule for my trip. Double bed was spacious & clean for 2 person. Each capsule is comes with towel, bottle water, a small packet of snack, toothbrush & toothpaste inside the cabinet which most backpacker hotel don't provide. It also has a place to hang some clothes inside, a small cabinet to put your belongings, charging points, a small mirror which was really good and a passcode enable storage for your valuables. My booking also came with a free breakfast - cereal, toast & coffee at the balcony. Toilet has body & hair shampoo including hair dryer (thumbs up for female travelers) and clean. You will need to check in beside the building, NuVe hotel. Staff was friendly. And you can use the rooftop of NuVe hotel for free. Location was great. Overall, I enjoyed my stay! Will be back. "

"Overall, the Albert Court is worth considering for your business or holiday stay in Singapore. The convenience to 3 MRT stations is a big plus and the staff was extremely helpful when ever issues arose. However, it is clearly not a 4 star hotel (3 1/2 at best). The buildings were well done when converted to a hotel and it is a pleasant environment. No pool, but great to go to the Jacuzzi in the interior court yard of the main building after a day of site seeing in the hot weather. If you like Indian food and products, the closeness to Little India is a huge plus. Although the furnishings and amenities were not equal to what I had experienced in other 4 star hotels throughout Asia, the fact that it was among the lowest priced 4 star hotels in the Agoda listings has to be considered. Due to problems, we were upgraded twice. The final room, in the 2nd building across the small commercial plaza was at the high end of the hotel’s room rates, but was the one that had the kinds of amenities and furnishings that I've experienced as basic to 4 star hotels elsewhere. The previous rooms had no robes, no slippers (not even disposable paper ones), limited drawer space for clothes, limited bath amenities, etc. All in all the Albert Court is a convenient, clean, comfortable hotel with responsive staff and a fair price at the low end of the 4 star range. It is worth considering unless you cannot do without customary 4 star amenities. In that case, you should either book one of the top rate rooms or look at another hotel. One caution - If you are assigned an inside, court yard view room in the main building wing next to the restaurant, you should ask for a change. Our first upgrade was to room 227 in that wing. The courtyard has several fountains and the courtyard walls hold in the sound and channel it to the interior rooms. While the sound of the fountains is pleasant enough (a bit like rain on the roof), the exhaust louvers for the equipment-motor room of the hotel also open o"
